1A Psalm of David. Jehovah, I have called upon thee; make haste unto me: Give ear unto my voice, when I call unto thee.
1(140:1) Псалом Давида. Господи! к тебе взываю: поспеши ко мне, внемли голосу моления моего, когда взываю к Тебе.
2Let my prayer be set forth as incense before thee; The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
2(140:2) Да направится молитва моя, как фимиам, пред лице Твое, воздеяние рук моих – как жертва вечерняя.
3Set a watch, O Jehovah, before my mouth; Keep the door of my lips.
3(140:3) Положи, Господи, охрану устам моим, и огради двери уст моих;
4Incline not my heart to any evil thing, To practise deeds of wickedness With men that work iniquity: And let me not eat of their dainties.
4(140:4) не дай уклониться сердцу моему к словам лукавым для извинениядел греховных вместе с людьми, делающими беззаконие, и да не вкушу я от сластей их.
5Let the righteous smite me, [it shall be] a kindness; And let him reprove me, [it shall be as] oil upon the head; Let not my head refuse it: For even in their wickedness shall my prayer continue.
5(140:5) Пусть наказывает меня праведник: это милость; пусть обличает меня: это лучший елей, который не повредит голове моей; но мольбы мои – против злодейств их.
6Their judges are thrown down by the sides of the rock; And they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.
6(140:6) Вожди их рассыпались по утесам и слышат слова мои, что они кротки.
7As when one ploweth and cleaveth the earth, Our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.
7(140:7) Как будто землю рассекают и дробят нас; сыплются кости наши в челюсти преисподней.
8For mine eyes are unto thee, O Jehovah the Lord: In thee do I take refuge; leave not my soul destitute.
8(140:8) Но к Тебе, Господи, Господи, очи мои; на Тебя уповаю, не отриньдуши моей!
9Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me, And from the gins of the workers of iniquity.
9(140:9) Сохрани меня от силков, поставленных для меня, от тенетбеззаконников.
10Let the wicked fall into their own nets, Whilst that I withal escape.
10(140:10) Падут нечестивые в сети свои, а я перейду.
