1For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament showeth his handiwork.
1(18:1) Начальнику хора. Псалом Давида.(18-2) Небеса проповедуют славу Божию, и о делах рук Его вещает твердь.
2Day unto day uttereth speech, And night unto night showeth knowledge.
2(18:3) День дню передает речь, и ночь ночи открывает знание.
3There is no speech nor language; Their voice is not heard.
3(18:4) Нет языка, и нет наречия, где не слышался бы голос их.
4Their line is gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
4(18:5) По всей земле проходит звук их, и до пределов вселенной словаих. Он поставил в них жилище солнцу,
5Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoiceth as a strong man to run his course.
5(18:6) и оно выходит, как жених из брачного чертога своего, радуется, как исполин, пробежать поприще:
6His going forth is from the end of the heavens, And his circuit unto the ends of it; And there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
6(18:7) от края небес исход его, и шествие его до края их, и ничто не укрыто от теплоты его.
7The law of Jehovah is perfect, restoring the soul: The testimony of Jehovah is sure, making wise the simple.
7(18:8) Закон Господа совершен, укрепляет душу; откровение Господа верно, умудряет простых.
8The precepts of Jehovah are right, rejoicing the heart: The commandment of Jehovah is pure, enlightening the eyes.
8(18:9) Повеления Господа праведны, веселят сердце; заповедь Господа светла, просвещает очи.
9The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring for ever: The ordinances of Jehovah are true, [and] righteous altogether.
9(18:10) Страх Господень чист, пребывает вовек. Суды Господни истина, все праведны;
10More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the droppings of the honeycomb.
10(18:11) они вожделеннее золота и даже множества золота чистого, слаще меда и капель сота;
11Moreover by them is thy servant warned: In keeping them there is great reward.
11(18:12) и раб Твой охраняется ими, в соблюдении их великая награда.
12Who can discern [his] errors? Clear thou me from hidden [faults].
12(18:13) Кто усмотрит погрешности свои? От тайных моих очистименя
13Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous [sins]; Let them not have dominion over me: Then shall I be upright, And I shall be clear from great transgression.
13(18:14) и от умышленных удержи раба Твоего, чтобы не возобладали мною. Тогда я буду непорочен и чист от великого развращения.
14Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in thy sight, O Jehovah, my rock, and my redeemer.
14(18:15) Да будут слова уст моих и помышление сердца моего благоугодны пред Тобою, Господи, твердыня моя и Избавитель мой!
