Revelation

12

1And a great sign was seen in heaven: a woman arrayed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars;
1 I di alaama bambata fo beena ra: wayboro fo goono ga daabu nda wayna, hando mo go a cey cire. Koytaray fuula kaŋ gonda handariyayze way cindi hinka mo go a boŋo gaa.
1A great sign was seen in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
2and she was the child; and she crieth out, travailing in birth, and in pain to be delivered.
2 A gonda gunde, a hẽ mo hay-zaŋay ra, a goono ga maa doori mo hayyaŋo sabbay se.
2She was with child. She cried out in pain, laboring to give birth.
3And there was seen another sign in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his heads seven diadems.
3 I ye ka di alaama fo mo beena ra. Guna mo, dodo-beeri* ciray bambata kaŋ gonda boŋ iyye da hilli way. Boŋey gaa mo koytaray fuula iyye go no.
3Another sign was seen in heaven. Behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven crowns.
4And his tail draweth the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon standeth before the woman that is about to be delivered, that when she is delivered he may devour her child.
4 A dibba mo goono ga beene handariyayzey kanandi hinza ra afo candi k'i catu ndunnya ra. Dodo-beero mo goono ga kay waybora kaŋ ga ba ka hay din jine, zama waati kaŋ a hay nga m'a izo ŋwa.
4His tail drew one third of the stars of the sky, and threw them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child.
5And she was delivered of a son, a man child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and unto his throne.
5 Waybora na ize alboro hay mo, nga kaŋ ga ndunnya dumey kulu may da guuru-bi goobu. Izo mo, i n'a hamay ka kond'a Irikoy do, hal a karga do.
5She gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron. Her child was caught up to God, and to his throne.
6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that there they may nourish her a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
6 Waybora binde zuru ka koy ganjo ra, naŋ kaŋ Irikoy jin ka nangu soola a se, hal i m'a jare jirbi zambar fo da zangu hinka nda waydu.
6The woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that there they may nourish her one thousand two hundred sixty days.
7And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels [going forth] to war with the dragon; and the dragon warred and his angels;
7 Wongu te beena ra mo. Munkayla nda nga malaykey goono ga tangam da dodo-beero. Dodo-beero mo da nga malaykey tangam d'ey.
7There was war in the sky. Michael and his angels made war on the dragon. The dragon and his angels made war.
8And they prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven.
8 I mana te zaama, i mana du mo ngey goray nango koyne beena ra.
8They didn’t prevail, neither was a place found for him any more in heaven.
9And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him.
9 I na dodo-beero bambata din catu ganda, gondi zeena nooya, nga kaŋ se i ga ne Iblisi da Saytan*, ndunnya kulu hallikwa. I n'a catu ndunnya ra. A malaykey mo, i n'i catu a banda.
9The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
10And I heard a great voice in heaven, saying, Now is come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accuseth them before our God day and night.
10 Kal ay maa jinde bambata fo beena ra kaŋ ne: «Sohõ faaba nda dabari nd'iri Irikoyo koytara to. A Almasihu mayra mo to. Zama i n'iri nya-izey kalimakwa catu ganda, nga kaŋ g'i kalima cin da zaari iri Irikoyo jine.
10I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, the power, and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ has come; for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.
11And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death.
11 I te zaama a boŋ mo Feej'izo kuro da ngey seeda sanno sabbay se. I mana ba ngey fundey mo hal i mana wangu ngey ma bu.
11They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death.
12Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe for the earth and for the sea: because the devil is gone down unto you, having great wrath, knowing that he hath but a short time.
12 Woodin sabbay se no, araŋ ma farhã, ya beeney d'araŋ mo kaŋ yaŋ goono ga goro i ra. Amma kaari ndunnya nda teeko! Zama Iblisi zumbu araŋ do haray. A gonda futay beeri, zama a bay kaŋ alwaati kayna no cindi nga se.»
12Therefore rejoice, heavens, and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and to the sea, because the devil has gone down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has but a short time.”
13And when the dragon saw that he was cast down to the earth, he persecuted the woman that brought forth the man [child].
13 Saaya kaŋ dodo-beero di i na nga catu ndunnya ra, kal a na waybora gana, nga kaŋ na ize albora hay.
13When the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child.
14And there were given to the woman the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness unto her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
14 Amma i na waybora no zeeban bambata fata hinka, zama a ma tun ka deesi ka koy ganjo ra hala nga nango do, naŋ kaŋ i g'a jare, alwaati folloŋ da alwaati hinka da alwaati jare, k'a tugu gondo se.
14Two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, so that she might be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
15And the serpent cast out of his mouth after the woman water as a river, that he might cause her to be carried away by the stream.
15 Gondo mo na hari kaa nga meyo ra ka bambari sanda isa cine waybora banda, zama a ma naŋ hari-yaa ma konda waybora.
15The serpent spewed water out of his mouth after the woman like a river, that he might cause her to be carried away by the stream.
16And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
16 Amma laabo na waybora gaakasinay. A na nga meyo feeri ka isa kaŋ dodo-beero kaa nga meyo ra ka bambari din haŋ.
16The earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon spewed out of his mouth.
17And the dragon waxed wroth with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, that keep the commandments of God, and hold the testimony of Jesus:
17 Kala dodo-beero futu waybora se gumo. A ye zama nga ma wongu nd'a banda boro cindey kaŋ yaŋ goono ga Irikoy lordey gana, kaŋ yaŋ goono ga Yesu seeda haggoy mo.
17The dragon grew angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep God’s commandments and hold Jesus’ testimony.
18 A ye ka kay mo teeko taaso boŋ.
