8The sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

9And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabteca. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba, and Dedan.

10And Cush begat Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

11And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

12and Pathrusim, and Casluhim (from whence came the Philistines), and Caphtorim.

13And Canaan begat Sidon his first-born, and Heth,

14and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
14எபூசியரையும், எமோரியரையும், கிர்காசியரையும்,
15and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

16and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

17The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

18And Arpachshad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.
18அர்பக்சாத் சாலாவைப் பெற்றான்; சாலா ஏபேரைப் பெற்றான்.
19And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
19ஏபேருக்கு இரண்டு குமாரர் பிறந்தார்கள்; ஒருவன் பேர் பேலேகு, ஏனெனில் அவன் நாட்களில் பூமி பகுக்கப்பட்டது; அவன் சகோதரன் பேர் யொக்தான்.
20And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

21and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,

23and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.

24Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah,

31Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.
31யெத்தூர், நாபீஸ், கேத்மா என்பவர்கள்; இவர்கள் இஸ்மவேலின் குமாரர்.
32And the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba, and Dedan.
32ஆபிரகாமின் மறுமனையாட்டியாகிய கேத்தூராள் பெற்ற குமாரர், சிம்ரான், யக்க்ஷான், மேதான், மீதியான், இஸ்பாக், சூவா என்பவர்கள்; யக்க்ஷானின் குமாரர், சேபா, தேதான் என்பவர்கள்.
33And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.
33மீதியானின் குமாரர், ஏப்பா, ஏப்பேர், ஆனோக்கு, அபீதா, எல்தாகா என்பவர்கள்; இவர்கள் எல்லாரும் கேத்தூராளின் குமாரர்.
34And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau, and Israel.
34ஆபிரகாம் ஈசாக்கைப் பெற்றான்; ஈசாக்கின் குமாரர், ஏசா, இஸ்ரவேல் என்பவர்கள்.
35The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.
35ஏசாவின் குமாரர், எலீப்பாஸ், ரெகுவேல், எயூஷ், யாலாம், கோராகு என்பவர்கள்.
36The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
36எலீப்பாசின் குமாரர், தேமான், ஓமார், செப்பி, கத்தாம், கேனாஸ், திம்னா, அமலேக்கு என்பவர்கள்.
37The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
37ரெகுவேலின் குமாரர், நகாத், சேராகு, சம்மா, மீசா என்பவர்கள்.
38And the sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
38சேயீரின் குமாரர், லோத்தான், சோபால், சிபியோன், ஆனா, தீசோன், எத்சேர், தீசான் என்பவர்கள்.
39And the sons of Lotan: Hori, and Homam; and Timna was Lotan's sister.
39லோத்தானின் குமாரர், ஓரி, ஓமாம் என்பவர்கள்; லோத்தானின் சகோதரி திம்னாள் என்பவள்.
40The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon: Aiah, and Anah.
40சோபாலின் குமாரர், அல்வான், மானகாத், ஏபால், செப்பி, ஓனாம் என்பவர்கள்; சிபியோனின் குமாரர், அயா, ஆனாகு என்பவர்கள்.
41The sons of Anah: Dishon. And the sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
41ஆனாகின் குமாரரில் ஒருவன் திஷோன் என்பவன்; திஷோனின் குமாரர், அம்ராம், எஸ்பான், இத்தரான், கெரான் என்பவர்கள்.
42The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz, and Aran.
42ஏத்சேரின் குமாரர், பில்கான், சகவான், யாக்கான் என்பவர்கள்; திஷானின் குமாரர் ஊத்ஸ், அரான் என்பவர்கள்.
43Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there resigned any king over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
43இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை ஒரு இராஜா ஆளாததற்குமுன்னே, ஏதோம் தேசத்தில் அரசாண்ட இராஜாக்களானவர்கள்: பேயோரின் குமாரன் பேலா என்பவன்; இவன் பட்டணத்தின் பேர் தின்காபா.
44And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
44பேலா மரித்தபின் போஸ்ரா ஊரானாகிய சேராகின் குமாரன் யோபாப் அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் இராஜாவானான்.
45And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
45யோபாப் மரித்தபின், தேமானியரின் தேசத்தானாகிய ஊசாம் அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் இராஜாவானான்.
46And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Avith.
46ஊசாம் மரித்தபின், பேதாதின் குமாரன் ஆதாத் அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் இராஜாவானான், இவன் மீதியானியரை மோவாபின் நாட்டிலே முறிய அடித்தவன்; இவன் பட்டணத்தின் பேர் ஆவீத்.
47And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
47ஆதாத் மரித்தபின், மஸ்ரேக்கா ஊரானாகிய சம்லா அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் இராஜாவானான்.
48And Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the River reigned in his stead.
48சம்லா மரித்தபின், நதியோரமான ரேகோபோத்தானாகிய சவுல் அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் இராஜாவானான்.
49And Shaul died, and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
49சவுல் மரித்தபின், அக்போரின் குமாரன் பாகாலானான் அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் இராஜாவானான்.
50And Baal-hanan died, and Hadad reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Pai: and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.

51And Hadad died. And the chiefs of Edom were: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth,

52chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,

53chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,

54chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom.
