1Elihu also proceeded, and said,
1பின்னும் எலிகூ:
2Suffer me a little, and I will show thee; For I have yet somewhat to say on God's behalf.
2நான் பேசிமுடியுமட்டும் சற்றேபொறும்; இன்னும் தேவன் பட்சத்தில் நான் சொல்லவேண்டிய நியாயங்களை உமக்குச் சொல்லிக்காண்பிப்பேன்.
3I will fetch my knowledge from afar, And will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
3நான் தூரத்திலிருந்து என் ஞானத்தைக் கொண்டுவந்து, என்னை உண்டாக்கினவருடைய நீதியை விளங்கப்பண்ணுவேன்.
4For truly my words are not false: One that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.
4மெய்யாகவே என் வார்த்தைகள் பொய்யற்றிருக்கும்; உம்மோடே பேசுகிறவன் அறிவில் தேறினவன்.
5Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: He is mighty in strength of understanding.
5இதோ, தேவன் மகத்துவமுள்ளவர், அவர் ஒருவரையும் புறக்கணியார்; மன உருக்கத்திலும் அவர் மகத்துவமுள்ளவர்.
6He preserveth not the life of the wicked, But giveth to the afflicted [their] right.
6அவர் துன்மார்க்கரைப் பிழைக்க ஒட்டாதிருக்கிறார்; சிறுமையானவர்களின் நியாயத்தை விசாரிக்கிறார்.
7He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: But with kings upon the throne He setteth them for ever, and they are exalted.
7அவர் தம்முடைய கண்களை நீதிமான்களைவிட்டு விலக்காமல், அவர்களை ராஜாக்களோடே கூட சிங்காசனத்தில் ஏறவும், உயர்ந்த ஸ்தலத்தில் என்றைக்கும் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கவும் செய்கிறார்.
8And if they be bound in fetters, And be taken in the cords of afflictions;
8அவர்கள் விலங்குகள் போடப்பட்டு, உபத்திரவத்தின் கயிறுகளால் கட்டப்பட்டிருந்தாலும்,
9Then he showeth them their work, And their transgressions, that they have behaved themselves proudly.
9அவர், அவர்கள் கிரியையையும், மிஞ்சிப்போன அவர்களுடைய மீறுதல்களையும் அவர்களுக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தி,
10He openeth also their ear to instruction, And commandeth that they return from iniquity.
10அக்கிரமத்தை விட்டுத் திரும்பும்படி அவர்கள் செவியைத் திறந்து கடிந்துகொள்ளுகிறார்.
11If they hearken and serve [him], They shall spend their days in prosperity, And their years in pleasures.
11அவர்கள் அடங்கி அவரைச் சேவித்தால், தங்கள் நாட்களை நன்மையாகவும், தங்கள் வருஷங்களைச் செல்வவாழ்வாகவும் போக்குவார்கள்.
12But if they hearken not, they shall perish by the sword, And they shall die without knowledge.
12அடங்கார்களேயாகில் பட்டயத்துக்கு இரையாகி, ஞானம் அடையாமல் மாண்டுபோவார்கள்.
13But they that are godless in heart lay up anger: They cry not for help when he bindeth them.
13மாயமுள்ள இருதயத்தார் குரோதத்தைக் குவித்துக்கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; அவர்களை அவர் கட்டிவைக்கும்போது கெஞ்சிக் கூப்பிடுவார்கள்.
14They die in youth, And their life [perisheth] among the unclean.
14அவர்கள் வாலவயதிலே மாண்டுபோவார்கள்; இலச்சையானவர்களுக்குள்ளே அவர்கள் பிராணன் முடியும்.
15He delivereth the afflicted by their affliction, And openeth their ear in oppression.
15சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களை அவர் சிறுமைக்கு நீங்கலாக்கி, அவர்கள் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கையில் அவர்கள் செவியைத் திறக்கிறார்.
16Yea, he would have allured thee out of distress Into a broad place, where there is no straitness; And that which is set on thy table would be full of fatness.
16அப்படியே அவர் உம்மையும் நெருக்கத்தினின்று விலக்கி, ஒடுக்கமில்லாத விசாலத்திலே வைப்பார்; உம்முடைய போஜனபந்தி கொழுமையான பதார்த்தங்களால் நிறைந்திருக்கும்.
17But thou art full of the judgment of the wicked: Judgment and justice take hold [on thee].
17ஆகாதவன்மேல் வரும் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு நிறைவேறப் பார்ப்பீர்; நியாயமும் நீதியும் உம்மை ஆதரிக்கும்.
18For let not wrath stir thee up against chastisements; Neither let the greatness of the ransom turn thee aside.
18உக்கிரமுண்டாயிருக்கிறதினால் அவர் உம்மை ஒரு அடியினால் வாரிக்கொண்டுபோகாதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாயிரும்; அப்பொழுது மீட்கும் பொருளை மிகுதியாய்க் கொடுத்தாலும் அதற்கு நீர் நீங்கலாகமாட்டீர்.
19Will thy cry avail, [that thou be] not in distress, Or all the forces of [thy] strength?
19உம்முடைய செல்வத்தை அவர் மதிப்பாரோ? உம்முடைய பொன்னையும், பூரண பராக்கிரமத்தையும் அவர் மதிக்கமாட்டாரே.
20Desire not the night, When peoples are cut off in their place.
20ஜனங்கள் தங்கள் இடத்தைவிட்டு வாரிக்கொள்ளப்படப்போகிற இரவை வாஞ்சிக்காதிரும்.
21Take heed, regard not iniquity: For this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.
21அக்கிரமத்துக்குத் திரும்பாதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாயிரும்; உபத்திரவத்தைப்பார்க்கிலும் அக்கிரமத்தைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டீரே.
22Behold, God doeth loftily in his power: Who is a teacher like unto him?
22இதோ, தேவன் தம்முடைய வல்லமையில் உயர்ந்திருக்கிறார்; அவரைப் போல் போதிக்கிறவர் யார்?
23Who hath enjoined him his way? Or who can say, Thou hast wrought unrighteousness?
23அவருடைய வழியின் நியாயத்தை விசாரிக்கத்தக்கவன் யார்? நீர் அநியாயம் செய்தீர் என்று சொல்லத்தக்கவன் யார்?
24Remember that thou magnify his work, Whereof men have sung.
24மனுஷர் நோக்கிப்பார்க்கிற அவருடைய கிரியையை நீர் மகிமைப்படுத்த நினையும்.
25All men have looked thereon; Man beholdeth it afar off.
25எல்லா மனுஷரும் அதைக் காண்கிறார்களே; தூரத்திலிருந்து அது மனுஷருக்கு வெளிப்படுகிறது.
26Behold, God is great, and we know him not; The number of his years is unsearchable.
26இதோ, தேவன் மகத்துவமுள்ளவர்; நாம் அவரை அறிய முடியாது; அவருடைய வருஷங்களின் இலக்கம் ஆராய்ந்து முடியாதது.
27For he draweth up the drops of water, Which distil in rain from his vapor,
27அவர் நீர்த்துளிகளை அணுவைப்போல ஏறப்பண்ணுகிறார்; அவைகள் மேகத்திலிருந்து மழையாய்ச் சொரிகிறது.
28Which the skies pour down And drop upon man abundantly.
28அதை மேகங்கள் பெய்து, மனுஷர்மேல் மிகுதியாய்ப் பொழிகிறது.
29Yea, can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, The thunderings of his pavilion?
29மேகங்களின் பரவுதலையும், அவருடைய கூடாரத்திலிருந்து எழும்பும் குமுறல்களையும் அறியமுடியுமோ?
30Behold, he spreadeth his light around him; And he covereth the bottom of the sea.
30இதோ, அதின்மேல் தம்முடைய மின்னலின் ஒளியை விரிக்கிறார்; சமுத்திரத்தின் ஆழங்களையும் மூடுகிறார்.
31For by these he judgeth the peoples; He giveth food in abundance.
31அவைகளால் ஜனங்களை தண்டிக்கிறவரும், ஆகாரங்கொடுத்து இரட்சிக்கிறவருமாயிருக்கிறார்.
32He covereth his hands with the lightning, And giveth it a charge that it strike the mark.
32அவர் மின்னலின் ஒளியைத் தமது கைக்குள்ளே மூடி, அது இன்னின்னதை அடிக்கவேண்டுமென்று கட்டளையிடுகிறார்.
33The noise thereof telleth concerning him, The cattle also concerning [the storm] that cometh up.
33அதினால், அவர் செய்ய நினைக்கிறதையும், மந்தாரம் எழும்பப்போகிறதையும், ஆடுமாடுகள் அறியப்படுத்தும்.
