¹And Jehovah spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

¹பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் நோக்கி:

²When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, or a scab, or a bright spot, and it become in the skin of his flesh the plague of leprosy, then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests:

²ஒரு மனிதனுடைய சரீரத்தின்மேல் குஷ்டரோகம்போலிருக்கிற ஒரு தடிப்பாவது அசறாவது வெள்ளைப்படராவது உண்டானால், அவன் ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோனிடத்திலாகிலும், ஆசாரியராகிய அவன் குமாரரில் ஒருவனிடத்திலாகிலும் கொண்டுவரப்படக்கடவன்.

³and the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and if the hair in the plague be turned white, and the appearance of the plague be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is the plague of leprosy; and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.

³அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியன் அவன் சரீரத்தின்மேல் இருக்கிற ரோகத்தைப் பார்க்கவேண்டும்; ரோகம் இருக்கும் இடத்தில் மயிர் வெளுத்தும், ரோகமுள்ள இடம் அவனுடைய மற்றச் சரீரத்தைப்பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாய்க் குழிந்தும் இருந்தால் அது குஷ்டரோகம்; ஆசாரியன் அவனைப் பார்த்தபின்பு, அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்.

⁴And if the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh, and the appearance thereof be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned white, then the priest shall shut up [him that hath] the plague seven days:

⁴அவன் சரீரத்தின்மேல் வெள்ளைப்படர்ந்திருந்தாலும், அவ்விடம் அவனுடைய மற்றத் தோலைப்பார்க்கிலும் அதிக பள்ளமாயிராமலும், அதின் மயிர் வெள்ளையாக மாறாமலும் இருந்தால், ஆசாரியன் அவனை ஏழுநாள் அடைத்து வைத்து,

⁵and the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if in his eyes the plague be at a stay, and the plague be not spread in the skin, then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:

⁵ஏழாம் நாளில் அவனைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; தோலில் ரோகம் அதிகப்படாமல், அவன் பார்வைக்கு ரோகம் நின்றிருந்தால், ஆசாரியன் இரண்டாந்தரம் அவனை ஏழுநாள் அடைத்துவைத்து,

⁶and the priest shall look on him again the seventh day; and, behold, if the plague be dim, and the plague be not spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is a scab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

⁶இரண்டாந்தரம் அவனை ஏழாம் நாளில் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; தோலில் ரோகம் அதிகப்படாமல் சுருங்கியிருந்தால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அது அசறு; அவன் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்துச் சுத்தமாயிருப்பானாக.

⁷But if the scab spread abroad in the skin, after that he hath showed himself to the priest for his cleansing, he shall show himself to the priest again:

⁷தன்னைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கிறதற்கு அவன் தன்னை ஆசாரியனுக்குக் காண்பித்த பின்பு, அசறு தோலில் அதிகமாய்ப் படர்ந்திருந்தால், அவன் மறுபடியும் ஆசாரியனுக்குத் தன்னைக் காண்பிக்கக்கடவன்.

⁸and the priest shall look; and, behold, if the scab be spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is leprosy.

⁸அப்பொழுது அசறு தோலிலே படர்ந்தது என்று ஆசாரியன் கண்டால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அது குஷ்டரோகம்.

⁹When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought unto the priest;

⁹குஷ்டரோகம் ஒரு மனிதனுக்கு இருந்தால், அவனை ஆசாரியனிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரவேண்டும்.

¹⁰and the priest shall look; and, behold, if there be a white rising in the skin, and it have turned the hair white, and there be quick raw flesh in the rising,

¹⁰அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியன் அவனைப் பார்த்து, தோலிலே வெள்ளையான தடிப்பிருந்து, அது மயிரை வெண்மையாக மாறப்பண்ணிற்றென்றும், அந்தத் தடிப்புள்ள இடத்திலே இரணமாம்சம் உண்டென்றும் கண்டால்,

¹¹it is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean: he shall not shut him up, for he is unclean.

¹¹அது அவன் சரீரத்திலுள்ள நாள்பட்ட குஷ்டம்; அவன் தீட்டுள்ளவன். ஆதலால், ஆசாரியன் அவனை அடைத்து வைக்காமல், தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்.

¹²And if the leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of [him that hath] the plague from his head even to his feet, as far as appeareth to the priest;

¹²ஆசாரியன் பார்க்கிற இடங்களெங்கும் தோலிலே குஷ்டம் தோன்றி, அந்த ரோகமுள்ளவனுடைய தலைதொடங்கி அவன் கால்மட்டும் அது தேகமுழுவதையும் மூடியிருக்கக்கண்டால்,

¹³then the priest shall look; and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce [him] clean [that hath] the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.

¹³அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியன் பார்த்து, குஷ்டம் அவன் சரீரம் முழுவதையும் மூடியிருந்தால், அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அவன் உடம்பெல்லாம் வெண்மையாய்ப்போனபடியால், அவன் சுத்தமுள்ளவன்.

¹⁴But whensoever raw flesh appeareth in him, he shall be unclean.

¹⁴ஆனாலும், இரணமாம்சம் அவனில் காணப்பட்டால், அவன் தீட்டுள்ளவன்.

¹⁵And the priest shall look on the raw flesh, and pronounce him unclean: the raw flesh is unclean: it is leprosy.

¹⁵ஆகையால், இரணமாம்சத்தை ஆசாரியன் காணும்போது, அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; இரணமாம்சம் தீட்டுள்ளது; அது குஷ்டம்.

¹⁶Or if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed unto white, then he shall come unto the priest;

¹⁶அல்லது, இரணமாம்சம் மாறி வெண்மையானால், அவன் ஆசாரியனிடத்துக்கு வரவேண்டும்.

¹⁷and the priest shall look on him; and, behold, if the plague be turned into white, then the priest shall pronounce [him] clean [that hath] the plague: he is clean.

¹⁷ஆசாரியன் அவனைப் பார்த்து, ரோகமுள்ள இடம் வெண்மையாக மாறினதென்று கண்டால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைச்சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அவன் சுத்தமுள்ளவன்.

¹⁸And when the flesh hath in the skin thereof a boil, and it is healed,

¹⁸சரீரத்தின்மேல் புண் உண்டாயிருந்து ஆறிப்போய்,

¹⁹and in the place of the boil there is a white rising, or a bright spot, reddish-white, then is shall be showed to the priest;

¹⁹அவ்விடத்திலே ஒரு வெள்ளைத்தடிப்பாவது சிவப்புக்கலந்த ஒரு வெள்ளைப்படராவது உண்டானால், அதை ஆசாரியனுக்குக் காண்பிக்கவேண்டும்.

²⁰and the priest shall look; and, behold, if the appearance thereof be lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy, it hath broken out in the boil.

²⁰ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்த்து, அவ்விடம் மற்றத் தோலைப்பார்க்கிலும் குழிந்திருக்கவும், அதின் மயிர் வெள்ளையாக மாறியிருக்கவும் கண்டால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கவேண்டும்; அது புண்ணில் எழும்பின குஷ்டம்.

²¹But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hairs therein, and it be not lower than the skin, but be dim; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:

²¹ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்த்து, அதில் வெள்ளைமயிர் இல்லை என்றும், அது மற்றத்தோலைப்பார்க்கிலும் குழிந்திராமல் சுருங்கியிருக்கிறது என்றும் கண்டானாகில், அவனை ஏழுநாள் அடைத்துவைத்து,

²²And if it spread abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague.

²²அது தோலில் அதிகமாய்ப் படர்ந்திருக்கக்கண்டால், அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அது குஷ்டந்தான்.

²³But if the bright spot stay in its place, and be not spread, it is the scar of the boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

²³அந்த வெள்ளைப்படர் அதிகப்படாமல், அவ்வளவில் நின்றிருக்குமாகில், அது புண்ணின் தழும்பாயிருக்கும்; ஆகையால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்.

²⁴Or when the flesh hath in the skin thereof a burning by fire, and the quick [flesh] of the burning become a bright spot, reddish-white, or white;

²⁴ஒருவனுடைய சரீரத்தின்மேல் நெருப்புப்பட்டதினாலே வெந்து, அந்த வேக்காடு ஆறிப்போன இடத்திலே சிவப்பான படராவது வெண்மையான படராவது உண்டானால்,

²⁵then the priest shall look upon it; and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and the appearance thereof be deeper than the skin; it is leprosy, it hath broken out in the burning: and the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.

²⁵ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அந்தப் படரிலே மயிர் வெண்மையாக மாறி, அவ்விடம் மற்றத் தோலைப் பார்க்கிலும் பள்ளமாயிருந்தால், அது வேக்காட்டினால் எழும்பின குஷ்டம்; ஆகையால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அது குஷ்டரோகந்தான்.

²⁶But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the skin, but be dim; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:

²⁶ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்க்கிறபோது, படரிலே வெள்ளைமயிர் இல்லை என்றும், அது மற்றத் தோலைப்பார்க்கிலும் குழிந்திராமல், சுருங்கியிருக்கிறது என்றும் கண்டானாகில், அவனை ஏழுநாள் அடைத்துவைத்து,

²⁷and the priest shall look upon him the seventh day: if it spread abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.

²⁷ஏழாம்நாளில் அவனைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அது தோலில் அதிகமாய்ப் படர்ந்திருந்தால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அது குஷ்டரோகம்.

²⁸And if the bright spot stay in its place, and be not spread in the skin, but be dim; it is the rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is the scar of the burning.

²⁸படரானது தோலில் பெருகாமல், அவ்வளவில் நின்று சுருங்கியிருந்ததாகில், அது சூட்டினால் உண்டான தழும்பு; ஆசாரியன் அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அது சூட்டினால் வந்த வேக்காடு.

²⁹And when a man or woman hath a plague upon the head or upon the beard,

²⁹புருஷனுக்காகிலும் ஸ்திரீக்காகிலும் தலையிலாவது தாடியிலாவது ஒரு சொறி உண்டானால்,

³⁰then the priest shall look on the plague; and, behold, if the appearance thereof be deeper than the skin, and there be in it yellow thin hair, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a scall, it is leprosy of the head or of the beard.

³⁰ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்த்து, அவ்விடம் மற்றத் தோலைப்பார்க்கிலும் பள்ளமும் அதிலே மயிர் பொன் நிறமும் மிருதுவுமாயிருக்கக்கண்டால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அது தலையிலும் தாடியிலும் உண்டாகிற சொறிகுஷ்டம்.

³¹And if the priest look on the plague of the scall, and, behold, the appearance thereof be not deeper than the skin, and there be no black hair in it, then the priest shall shut up [him that hath] the plague of the scall seven days:

³¹ஆசாரியன் அந்தச் சொறிகுஷ்டத்தைப் பார்க்கும்போது, அவ்விடம் மற்றத்தோலைப்பார்க்கிலும் பள்ளமாயிராமலும், அதிலே கறுத்த மயிர் இல்லாமலும் இருக்கக்கண்டால், ஆசாரியன் அவனை ஏழுநாள் அடைத்துவைத்து,

³²And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague; and, behold, if the scall be not spread, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the appearance of the scall be not deeper than the skin,

³²ஏழாம்நாளில் ஆசாரியன் அதைப்பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அந்தச் சொறி இடங்கொள்ளாமலும், அதிலே பொன்நிறமயிர் இல்லாமலும், அவ்விடம் மற்றத் தோலைப்பார்க்கிலும் பள்ளமில்லாமலும் இருந்தால்,

³³then he shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up [him that hath] the scall seven days more:

³³அந்தச் சொறியுள்ள இடந்தவிர, மற்ற யாவையும் அவன் சிரைத்துக்கொள்ளக்கடவன்; பின்பு, ஆசாரியன் இரண்டாந்தரம் அவனை ஏழுநாள் அடைத்துவைத்து,

³⁴and in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall; and, behold, if the scall be not spread in the skin, and the appearance thereof be not deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

³⁴ஏழாம்நாளில் அதைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; சொறி தோலில் இடங்கொள்ளாமலும், அவ்விடம் மற்றத் தோலைப்பார்க்கிலும் பள்ளமில்லாமலும் இருந்தால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அவன் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்தபின் சுத்தமாயிருப்பான்.

³⁵But if the scall spread abroad in the skin after his cleansing,

³⁵அவன் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கப்பட்டபின், அந்தச் சொறி தோலில் இடங்கொண்டதானால்,

³⁶then the priest shall look on him; and, behold, if the scall be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for the yellow hair; he is unclean.

³⁶ஆசாரியன் அவனைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; சொறி தோலில் இடங்கொண்டிருந்தால், அப்பொழுது மயிர் பொன்நிறமா அல்லவா என்று ஆசாரியன் விசாரிக்க வேண்டியதில்லை; அவன் தீட்டுள்ளவனே.

³⁷But if in his eyes the scall be at a stay, and black hair be grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

³⁷அவன் பார்வைக்கு அந்தச் சொறி நீங்கி, அதில் கறுத்தமயிர் முளைத்ததேயாகில், சொறி சொஸ்தமாயிற்று; அவன் சுத்தமுள்ளவன்; ஆசாரியன் அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்.

³⁸And when a man or a woman hath in the skin of the flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;

³⁸ஒரு புருஷனுக்காகிலும் ஸ்திரீக்காகிலும் அவர்கள் சரீரத்தின்மேல் வெள்ளைப் புள்ளிகள் உண்டாயிருந்தால்,

³⁹then the priest shall look; and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be of a dull white, it is a tetter, it hath broken out in the skin; he is clean.

³⁹ஆசாரியன் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அவர்கள் சரீரத்திலே மங்கின வெள்ளைப் புள்ளிகள் இருந்தால், அது தோலில் எழும்புகிற வெள்ளைத்தேமல்; அவர்கள் சுத்தமுள்ளவர்கள்.

⁴⁰And if a man's hair be fallen off his head, he is bald; [yet] is he clean.

⁴⁰ஒருவனுடைய தலைமயிர் உதிர்ந்து, அவன் மொட்டையனானாலும், அவன் சுத்தமாயிருக்கிறான்.

⁴¹And if his hair be fallen off from the front part of his head, he is forehead bald; [yet] is he clean.

⁴¹அவனுடைய முன்னந்தலை மயிர் உதிர்ந்தால், அவன் அரைமொட்டையன்; அவனும் சுத்தமாயிருக்கிறான்.

⁴²But if there be in the bald head, or the bald forehead, a reddish-white plague; it is leprosy breaking out in his bald head, or his bald forehead.

⁴²மொட்டைத்தலையிலாவது அரைமொட்டைத்தலையிலாவது சிவப்புக்கலந்த வெண்மையான படர் உண்டானால், அது அதில் எழும்புகிற குஷ்டம்.

⁴³Then the priest shall look upon him; and, behold, if the rising of the plague be reddish-white in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the appearance of leprosy in the skin of the flesh;

⁴³ஆசாரியன் அவனைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அவனுடைய மொட்டைத்தலையிலாவது அரைமொட்டைத்தலையிலாவது, மற்ற அங்கங்களின்மேல் உண்டாகும் குஷ்டத்தைப்போல, சிவப்புக்கலந்த வெண்மையான தடிப்பு இருக்கக்கண்டால்,

⁴⁴he is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall surely pronounce him unclean; his plague is in his head.

⁴⁴அவன் குஷ்டரோகி, அவன் தீட்டுள்ளவன்; ஆசாரியன் அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அவன் வியாதி அவன் தலையிலே இருக்கிறது.

⁴⁵And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and the hair of his head shall go loose, and he shall cover his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.

⁴⁵அந்த வியாதி உண்டாயிருக்கிற குஷ்டரோகி வஸ்திரம் கிழிந்தவனாயும், தன் தலையை மூடாதவனாயும் இருந்து, அவன் தன் தாடியை மூடிக்கொண்டு, "தீட்டு, தீட்டு" என்று சத்தமிடவேண்டும்.

⁴⁶All the days wherein the plague is in him he shall be unclean; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his dwelling be.

⁴⁶அந்த வியாதி அவனில் இருக்கும் நாள்வரைக்கும் தீட்டுள்ளவனாக எண்ணப்படக்கடவன்; அவன் தீட்டுள்ளவனே; ஆகையால், அவன் தனியே குடியிருக்கவேண்டும்; அவன் குடியிருப்பு பாளயத்துக்குப் புறம்பே இருக்கக்கடவது.

⁴⁷The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woollen garment, or a linen garment;

⁴⁷ஆட்டுமயிர் வஸ்திரத்திலாவது, பஞ்சுநூல் வஸ்திரத்திலாவது,

⁴⁸whether it be in warp, or woof; of linen, or of woollen; whether in a skin, or in anything made of skin;

⁴⁸பஞ்சுநூல் அல்லது ஆட்டுமயிரான பாவிலாவது, ஊடையிலாவது, ஒரு தோலிலாவது, தோலினால் செய்த எந்தவித வஸ்துவிலாவது குஷ்டதோஷம் தோன்றி,

⁴⁹if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin; it is the plague of leprosy, and shall be showed unto the priest.

⁴⁹வஸ்திரத்திலாவது, தோலிலாவது, பாவிலாவது, ஊடையிலாவது, தோலினால் செய்த எந்தவித வஸ்துவிலாவது குஷ்டதோஷம் பச்சையாயாவது சிவப்பாயாவது காணப்பட்டால் அது குஷ்டமாயிருக்கும்; அதை ஆசாரியனுக்குக் காண்பிக்கவேண்டும்.

⁵⁰And the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up [that which hath] the plague seven days:

⁵⁰ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்த்து, ஏழுநாள் அடைத்துவைத்து,

⁵¹and he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in the skin, whatever service skin is used for; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.

⁵¹ஏழாம் நாளிலே அதைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; வஸ்திரத்திலாவது, பாவிலாவது, ஊடையிலாவது, தோலிலாவது, தோலினால் செய்த எந்தவித வஸ்துவிலாவது அது அதிகப்பட்டிருந்தால், அது அரிக்கிற குஷ்டம்; அது தீட்டாயிருக்கும்.

⁵²And he shall burn the garment, whether the warp or the woof, in woollen or in linen, or anything of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.

⁵²அந்தத் தோஷம் இருக்கிற ஆட்டுமயிரினாலும் பஞ்சுநூலினாலும் செய்த வஸ்திரத்தையும் பாவையும், ஊடையையும், தோலினால் செய்த எந்தவித வஸ்துவையும் சுட்டெரிக்கக்கடவன்; அது அரிக்கிற குஷ்டம்; ஆகையால் அக்கினியில் சுட்டெரிக்கப்படவேண்டும்.

⁵³And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin;

⁵³வஸ்திரத்தின் பாவிலாவது, ஊடையிலாவது, தோலினால் செய்த எந்தவித வஸ்துவிலாவது, அந்த தோஷம் அதிகப்படவில்லை என்று ஆசாரியன் கண்டால்,

⁵⁴then the priest shall command that they wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:

⁵⁴அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியன் அதைக்கழுவச்சொல்லி, இரண்டாந்தரம் ஏழுநாள் அடைத்துவைத்து,

⁵⁵and the priest shall look, after that the plague is washed; and, behold, if the plague have not changed its color, and the plague be not spread, it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire: it is a fret, whether the bareness be within or without.

⁵⁵அது கழுவப்பட்டபின்பு, அதைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அந்தத் தோஷம் அதிகப்படாதிருந்தாலும், அது நிறம் மாறாததாயிருந்தால் தீட்டாயிருக்கும்; அக்கினியில் அதைச் சுட்டெரிக்கவேண்டும்; அது அவ்வஸ்திரத்தின் உட்புறத்திலும் வெளிப்புறத்திலும் உருவ அரிக்கும்.

⁵⁶And if the priest look, and, behold, the plague be dim after the washing thereof, then he shall rend it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof:

⁵⁷and if it appear still in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin, it is breaking out: thou shalt burn that wherein the plague is with fire.

⁵⁸And the garment, either the warp, or the woof, or whatsoever thing of skin it be, which thou shalt wash, if the plague be departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.

⁵⁹This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woollen or linen, either in the warp, or the woof, or anything of skin, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.

⁵⁹ஆட்டுமயிராலாகிலும் பஞ்சுநூலாலாகிலும் நெய்த வஸ்திரத்தையாவது, பாவையாவது, ஊடையையாவது, தோலினால் செய்த எந்தவித வஸ்துவையாவது, சுத்தமென்றாவது தீட்டென்றாவது தீர்க்கிறதற்கு, அதினுடைய குஷ்டதோஷத்துக்கடுத்த பிரமாணம் இதுவே என்றார்.
