1These are the journeys of the children of Israel, when they went forth out of the land of Egypt by their hosts under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
1மோசே ஆரோன் என்பவர்களுடைய கையின்கீழ்த் தங்கள்தங்கள் சேனைகளின்படியே எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய பிரயாணங்களின் விபரம்:
2And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of Jehovah: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.
2மோசே தனக்குக் கர்த்தர் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே அவர்கள் புறப்பட்ட பிரகாரமாக அவர்களுடைய பிரயாணங்களை எழுதினான்; அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொரு இடங்களிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்பண்ணின பிரயாணங்களாவன:
3And they journeyed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians,
3முதலாம் மாதத்தின் பதினைந்தாம் தேதியிலே அவர்கள் ராமசேசை விட்டுப் புறப்பட்டார்கள்; பஸ்காவுக்கு மறுநாளிலே, எகிப்தியர் எல்லாரும் பார்க்க, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் பெலத்தகையுடன் புறப்பட்டார்கள்.
4while the Egyptians were burying all their first-born, whom Jehovah had smitten among them: upon their gods also Jehovah executed judgments.
4அப்பொழுது எகிப்தியர் கர்த்தர் தங்களுக்குள்ளே சங்கரித்த தலைச்சன் பிள்ளைகளையெல்லாம் அடக்கம்பண்ணினார்கள்; அவர்கள் தேவர்களின் பேரிலும் கர்த்தர் நீதிசெலுத்தினார்.
5And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses, and encamped in Succoth.
5பின்பு இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் ராமசேசிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், சுக்கோத்திலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
6And they journeyed from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.
6சுக்கோத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், வனாந்தரத்தின் எல்லையிலிருக்கிற ஏத்தாமிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
7And they journeyed from Etham, and turned back unto Pihahiroth, which is before Baal-zephon: and they encamped before Migdol.
7ஏத்தாமிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், பாகால்செபோனுக்கு எதிராக இருக்கிற ஈரோத் பள்ளத்தாக்கின் முன்னடிக்குத் திரும்பி, மிக்தோலுக்கு முன்பாகப் பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
8And they journeyed from before Hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness: and they went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and encamped in Marah.
8ஈரோத்தை விட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, சமுத்திரத்தை நடுவாகக் கடந்து வனாந்தரத்திற்குப் போய், ஏத்தாம் வனாந்தரத்திலே மூன்று நாள் பிரயாணம்பண்ணி, மாராவிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
9And they journeyed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve springs of water, and threescore and ten palm-trees; and they encamped there.
9மாராவிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, ஏலிமுக்குப் போனார்கள்; ஏலிமிலே பன்னிரண்டு நீரூற்றுகளும் எழுபது பேரீச்சமரங்களும் இருந்தது; அங்கே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
10And they journeyed from Elim, and encamped by the Red Sea.
10ஏலிமிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்தின் அருகே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
11And they journeyed from the Red Sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
11சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்தை விட்டுப் பறப்பட்டுப்போய், சீன் வனாந்தரத்திலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
12And they journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.
12சீன் வனாந்தரத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், தொப்காவிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
13And they journeyed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.
13தொப்காவிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப் போய், ஆலூசிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
14And they journeyed from Alush, and encamped in Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.
14ஆலூசிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், ரெவிதீமிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள். அங்கே ஜனங்களுக்குக் குடிக்கத் தண்ணீர் இல்லாதிருந்தது.
15And they journeyed from Rephidim, and encamped in the wilderness of Sinai.
15ரெவிதீமிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், சீனாய் வனாந்தரத்திலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
16And they journeyed from the wilderness of Sinai, and encamped in Kibroth-hattaavah.
16சீனாய் வனாந்தரத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், கிப்ரோத் அத்தாவிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
17And they journeyed from Kibroth-hattaavah, and encamped in Hazeroth.
17கிப்ரோத் அத்தாவிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், ஆஸரோத்திலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
18And they journeyed from Hazeroth, and encamped in Rithmah.
18ஆஸரோத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், ரித்மாவிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
19And they journeyed from Rithmah, and encamped in Rimmon-perez.
19ரித்மாவிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், ரிம்மோன்பேரேசிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
20And they journeyed from Rimmon-perez, and encamped in Libnah.
20ரிம்மோன்பேரேசிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், லிப்னாவிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
21And they journeyed from Libnah, and encamped in Rissah.
21லிப்னாவிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், ரீசாவிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
22And they journeyed from Rissah, and encamped in Kehelathah.
22ரீசாவிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், கேலத்தாவிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
23And they journeyed from Kehelathah, and encamped in mount Shepher.
23கேலத்தாவிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், சாப்பேர் மலையிலே பாளமிறங்கினார்கள்.
24And they journeyed from mount Shepher, and encamped in Haradah.
24சாப்பேர் மலையிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், ஆரதாவிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
25And they journeyed from Haradah, and encamped in Makheloth.
25ஆரதாவிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், மக்கெலோத்திலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
26And they journeyed from Makheloth, and encamped in Tahath.
26மக்கெலோத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், தாகாத்திலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
27And they journeyed from Tahath, and encamped in Terah.
27தாகாத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், தாராகிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
28And they journeyed from Terah, and encamped in Mithkah.
28தாராகிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், மித்காவிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
29And they journeyed from Mithkah, and encamped in Hashmonah.
29மித்காவிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், அஸ்மோனாவிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
30And they journeyed from Hashmonah, and encamped in Moseroth.
30அஸ்மோனாவிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், மோசெரோத்திலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
31And they journeyed from Moseroth, and encamped in Bene-jaakan.
31மோசெரோத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், பெனெயாக்கானிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
32And they journeyed from Bene-jaakan, and encamped in Hor-haggidgad.
32பெனெயாக்கானிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், கித்காத் மலையிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
33And they journeyed from Hor-haggidgad, and encamped in Jotbathah.
33கித்காத் மலையிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், யோத்பாத்தாவிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
34And they journeyed from Jotbathah, and encamped in Abronah.
34யோத்பாத்தாவிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், எப்ரோனாவிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
35And they journeyed from Abronah, and encamped in Ezion-geber.
35எப்ரோனாவிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், எசியோன் கேபேரிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
36And they journeyed from Ezion-geber, and encamped in the wilderness of Zin (the same is Kadesh).
36எசியோன் கேபேரிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், காதேசாகிய சீன் வனாந்தரத்திலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
37And they journeyed from Kadesh, and encamped in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
37காதேசிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், ஏதோம் தேசத்தின் எல்லையிலிருக்கிற ஓர் என்னும் மலையிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
38And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of Jehovah, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.
38அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோன் கர்த்தருடைய கட்டளையின்படியே ஓர் என்னும் மலையின்மேல் ஏறி, அங்கே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட நாற்பதாம் வருஷம் ஐந்தாம் மாதம் முதல் தேதியிலே மரணமடைந்தான்.
39And Aaron was a hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.
39ஆரோன் ஓர் என்னும் மலையிலே மரணமடைந்தபோது, நூற்றிருபத்து மூன்று வயதாயிருந்தான்.
40And the Canaanite, the king of Arad, who dwelt in the South in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
40அந்நாட்களிலே கானான் தேசத்தின் தென்திசையில் குடியிருந்த கானானியனாகிய ஆராத் என்னும் ராஜா இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் வருகிறதைக் கேள்விப்பட்டான்.
41And they journeyed from mount Hor, and encamped in Zalmonah.
41ஓர் என்னும் மலையை விட்டுப் புறப்பட்டுப்போய், சல்மோனாவிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
42And they journeyed from Zalmonah, and encamped in Punon.
42சல்மோனாவிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், பூனோனிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
43And they journeyed from Punon, and encamped in Oboth.
43பூனோனிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், ஓபோத்திலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
44And they journeyed from Oboth, and encamped in Iye-abarim, in the border of Moab.
44ஓபோத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், மோவாபின் எல்லையிலுள்ள அபாரிமீன் மேடுகளிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
45And they journeyed from Iyim, and encamped in Dibon-gad.
45அந்த மேடுகளை விட்டுப்பறப்பட்டுப்போய், தீபோன்காத்திலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
46And they journeyed from Dibon-gad, and encamped in Almon-diblathaim.
46தீபோன்காத்திலிருந்து புறப்புட்டுப்போய், அல்மோன் திப்லத்தாயிமிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
47And they journeyed from Almon-diblathaim, and encamped in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
47அல்மோன் திப்லத்தாயிமிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், நேபோவுக்கு எதிரான அபாரீம் மலைகளிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
48And they journeyed from the mountains of Abarim, and encamped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
48அபாரீம் மலைகளிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், எரிகோவின் அருகே யோர்தானைச்சார்ந்த மோவாபின் சமனான வெளிகளிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
49And they encamped by the Jordan, from Beth-jeshimoth even unto Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab.
49யோர்தானைச் சார்ந்த மோவாபின் சமனான வெளிகளில் அவர்கள் பெத்யெசிமோத்தைத் தொடங்கி, ஆபேல் சித்தீம்மட்டும் பாளயமிறங்கியிருந்தார்கள்.
50And Jehovah spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,
50எரிகோவின் அருகே யோர்தானைச் சார்ந்த மோவாபின் சமனான வெளிகளிலே கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:
51Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
51நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: நீங்கள் யோர்தானைக் கடந்து, கானான்தேசத்தில் போய்ச் சேரும்போது,
52then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their figured [stones], and destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places:
52அத்தேசத்துக் குடிகளையெல்லாம் உங்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்திவிட்டு, அவர்களுடைய எல்லாச் சிலைகளையும் வார்ப்பிக்கப்பட்ட அவர்களுடைய எல்லா விக்கிரகங்களையும் அழித்து, அவர்கள் மேடைகளையெல்லாம் நிர்மூலமாக்கி,
53and ye shall take possession of the land, and dwell therein; for unto you have I given the land to possess it.
53தேசத்திலுள்ளவர்களைத் துரத்திவிட்டு, அதிலே குடியிருக்கக்கடவீர்கள்; அந்த தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளும்படி அதை உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தேன்.
54And ye shall inherit the land by lot according to your families; to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer thou shalt give the less inheritance: wheresoever the lot falleth to any man, that shall be his; according to the tribes of your fathers shall ye inherit.
54சீட்டுப்போட்டு, தேசத்தை உங்கள் குடும்பங்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரங்களாகப் பங்கிட்டு, அதிக ஜனங்களுக்கு அதிக சுதந்தரமும், கொஞ்ச ஜனங்களுக்குக் கொஞ்சச் சுதந்தரமும் கொடுக்கக்கடவீர்கள்; அவரவர்க்குச் சீட்டு விழும் இடம் எதுவோ, அவ்விடம் அவரவர்க்கு உரியதாகும்; உங்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய கோத்திரங்களின்படியே சுதந்தரம் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளக்கடவீர்கள்.
55But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then shall those that ye let remain of them be as pricks in your eyes, and as thorns in your sides, and they shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
55நீங்கள் தேசத்தின் குடிகளை உங்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்திவிடாமலிருப்பீர்களானால், அப்பொழுது அவர்களில் நீங்கள் மீதியாக வைக்கிறவர்கள் உங்கள் கண்களில் முள்ளுகளும் உங்கள் விலாக்களிலே கூர்களுமாயிருந்து, நீங்கள் குடியிருக்கிற தேசத்திலே உங்களை உபத்திரவப்படுத்துவார்கள்.
56And it shall come to pass, that, as I thought to do unto them, so will I do unto you.
56அன்றியும், நான் அவர்களுக்குச் செய்ய நினைத்ததை உங்களுக்குச் செய்வேன் என்று சொல் என்றார்.
