1A Prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out his complaint before Jehovah. Hear my prayer, O Jehovah, And let my cry come unto thee.
1கர்த்தாவே, என் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேளும்; என் கூப்பிடுதல் உம்மிடத்தில் சேர்வதாக.
2Hide not thy face from me in the day of my distress: Incline thine ear unto me; In the day when I call answer me speedily.
2என் ஆபத்துநாளிலே உமது முகத்தை எனக்கு மறையாதேயும்; உமது செவியை என்னிடத்தில் சாயும்; நான் கூப்பிடுகிற நாளிலே எனக்குத் தீவிரமாய் உத்தரவு அருளிச்செய்யும்.
3For my days consume away like smoke, And my bones are burned as a firebrand.
3என் நாட்கள் புகையைப்போல் ஒழிந்தது; என் எலும்புகள் ஒரு கொள்ளியைப்போல் எரியுண்டது.
4My heart is smitten like grass, and withered; For I forget to eat my bread.
4என் இருதயம் புல்லைப்போல் வெட்டுண்டு உலர்ந்தது; என் போஜனத்தைப் புசிக்க மறந்தேன்.
5By reason of the voice of my groaning My bones cleave to my flesh.
5என் பெருமூச்சின் சத்தத்தினால், என் எலும்புகள் என் மாம்சத்தோடு ஒட்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறது.
6I am like a pelican of the wilderness; I am become as an owl of the waste places.
6வனாந்தர நாரைக்கு ஒப்பானேன்; பாழான இடங்களில் தங்கும் ஆந்தையைப் போலானேன்.
7I watch, and am become like a sparrow That is alone upon the house-top.
7நான் நித்திரையில்லாமல் வீட்டின்மேல் தனித்திருக்கும் குருவியைப்போல் இருக்கிறேன்.
8Mine enemies reproach me all the day; They that are mad against me do curse by me.
8நாடோறும் என் சத்துருக்கள் என்னை நிந்திக்கிறார்கள்; என்மேல் மூர்க்கவெறிகொண்டவர்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்ச் சாபம் இடுகிறார்கள்.
9For I have eaten ashes like bread, And mingled my drink with weeping,
9நீர் என்னை உயரத்தூக்கி, தாழத்தள்ளினீர், உமது சினத்திற்கும் கடுங்கோபத்திற்கும் உள்ளானேன்.
10Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: For thou hast taken me up, and cast me away.
10ஆதலால், நான் சாம்பலை அப்பமாகப் புசித்து, என் பானங்களைக் கண்ணீரோடே கலக்கிறேன்.
11My days are like a shadow that declineth; And I am withered like grass.
11என் நாட்கள் சாய்ந்துபோகிற நிழலைப்போலிருக்கிறது; புல்லைப்போல் உலர்ந்துபோகிறேன்.
12But thou, O Jehovah, wilt abide for ever; And thy memorial [name] unto all generations.
12கர்த்தராகிய நீரோ என்றென்றைக்கும் இருக்கிறீர்; உம்முடைய பேர் பிரஸ்தாபம் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக நிற்கும்.
13Thou wilt arise, and have mercy upon Zion; For it is time to have pity upon her, Yea, the set time is come.
13தேவரீர் எழுந்தருளி சீயோனுக்கு இரங்குவீர்; அதற்குத் தயை செய்யுங்காலமும், அதற்காகக் குறித்த நேரமும் வந்தது.
14For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, And have pity upon her dust.
14உம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரர் அதின் கல்லுகள்மேல் வாஞ்சைவைத்து, அதின் மண்ணுக்குப் பரிதபிக்கிறார்கள்.
15So the nations shall fear the name of Jehovah, And all the kings of the earth thy glory.
15கர்த்தர் சீயோனைக் கட்டி, தமது மகிமையில் வெளிப்படுவார்.
16For Jehovah hath built up Zion; He hath appeared in his glory.
16திக்கற்றவர்களுடைய ஜெபத்தை அலட்சியம்பண்ணாமல், அவர்கள் விண்ணப்பத்தை அங்கீகரிப்பார்.
17He hath regarded the prayer of the destitute, And hath not despised their prayer.
17அப்பொழுது ஜாதிகள் கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்துக்கும், பூமியிலுள்ள ராஜாக்களெல்லாரும் உம்முடைய மகிமைக்கும் பயப்படுவார்கள்.
18This shall be written for the generation to come; And a people which shall be created shall praise Jehovah.
18பின்சந்ததிக்காக இது எழுதப்படும்; சிருஷ்டிக்கப்படும் ஜனம் கர்த்தரைத் துதிக்கும்.
19For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; From heaven did Jehovah behold the earth;
19கர்த்தர் கட்டுண்டவர்களின் பெருமூச்சைக் கேட்கவும், கொலைக்கு நியமிக்கப்பட்டவர்களை விடுதலையாக்கவும்,
20To hear the sighing of the prisoner; To loose those that are appointed to death;
20தம்முடைய உயர்ந்த பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலிருந்து பார்த்து, வானங்களிலிருந்து பூமியின்மேல் கண்ணோக்கமானார்.
21That men may declare the name of Jehovah in Zion, And his praise in Jerusalem;
21கர்த்தருக்கு ஆராதனைசெய்ய, ஜனங்களும் ராஜ்யங்களும் ஏகமாய்க் கூடிக்கொள்ளுகையில்,
22When the peoples are gathered together, And the kingdoms, to serve Jehovah.
22சீயோனில் கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தையும், எருசலேமில் அவருடைய துதியையும் பிரஸ்தாபப்படுத்துவார்கள்.
23He weakened my strength in the way; He shortened my days.
23வழியிலே என் பெலனை அவர் ஒடுக்கி, என் நாட்களைக் குறுகப்பண்ணினார்.
24I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: Thy years are throughout all generations.
24அப்பொழுது நான்: என் தேவனே, பாதி வயதில் என்னை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளாதேயும்; உம்முடைய வருஷங்கள் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக இருக்கும்.
25Of old didst thou lay the foundation of the earth; And the heavens are the work of thy hands.
25நீர் ஆதியிலே பூமியை அஸ்திபாரப்படுத்தினீர்; வானங்கள் உம்முடைய கரத்தின் கிரியையாயிருக்கிறது.
26They shall perish, but thou shalt endure; Yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; As a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:
26அவைகள் அழிந்துபோகும், நீரோ நிலைத்திருப்பீர்; அவைகளெல்லாம் வஸ்திரம்போல் பழமையாய்ப்போகும்; அவைகளை ஒரு சால்வையைப்போல் மாற்றுவீர், அப்பொழுது மாறிப்போகும்.
27But thou art the same, And thy years shall have no end.
27நீரோ மாறாதவராயிருக்கிறீர்; உமது ஆண்டுகள் முடிந்துபோவதில்லை.
28The children of thy servants shall continue, And their seed shall be established before thee.
28உமது அடியாரின் பிள்ளைகள் தாபரித்திருப்பார்கள்; அவர்கள் சந்ததி உமக்கு முன்பாக நிலைபெற்றிருக்கும் என்று சொன்னேன்.
