1Oh give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; Make known among the peoples his doings.
1கர்த்தரைத் துதித்து, அவருடைய நாமத்தைப் பிரஸ்தாபமாக்குங்கள், அவருடைய செய்கைகளை ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே பிரசித்தப்படுத்துங்கள்.
2Sing unto him, sing praises unto him; Talk ye of all his marvelous works.
2அவரைப் பாடி, அவரைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுங்கள்; அவருடைய அதிசயங்களையெல்லாம் தியானித்துப் பேசுங்கள்.
3Glory ye in his holy name: Let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah.
3அவருடைய பரிசுத்த நாமத்தைக் குறித்து மேன்மைபாராட்டுங்கள்; கர்த்தரைத் தேடுகிறவர்களின் இருதயம் மகிழ்வதாக.
4Seek ye Jehovah and his strength; Seek his face evermore.
4கர்த்தரையும் அவர் வல்லமையையும் நாடுங்கள்; அவர் சமுகத்தை நித்தமும் தேடுங்கள்.
5Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,
5அவருடைய தாசனாகிய ஆபிரகாமின் சந்ததியே! அவரால் தெரிந்து கொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களாகிய யாக்கோபின் புத்திரரே!
6O ye seed of Abraham his servant, Ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
6அவர் செய்த அதிசயங்களையும், அவருடைய அற்புதங்களையும், அவர் வாக்கின் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளையும் நினைவுகூருங்கள்.
7He is Jehovah our God: His judgments are in all the earth.
7அவரே நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர், அவருடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் பூமியெங்கும் விளங்கும்.
8He hath remembered his covenant for ever, The word which he commanded to a thousand generations,
8ஆயிரந்தலைமுறைக்கென்று அவர் கட்டளையிட்ட வாக்கையும், ஆபிரகாமோடே அவர் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையையும்,
9[The covenant] which he made with Abraham, And his oath unto Isaac,
9அவர் ஈசாக்குக்கு இட்ட ஆணையையும் என்றென்றைக்கும் நினைத்திருக்கிறார்.
10And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel for an everlasting covenant,
10அதை யாக்கோபுக்குப் பிரமாணமாகவும், இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு நித்தியஉடன்படிக்கையாகவும் உறுதிப்படுத்தி:
11Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance;
11உங்கள் சுதந்தரபாகமான கானான் தேசத்தை உனக்குத் தருவேன் என்றார்.
12When they were but a few men in number, Yea, very few, and sojourners in it.
12அக்காலத்தில் அவர்கள் கொஞ்சத் தொகைக்குட்பட்ட சொற்ப ஜனங்களும் பரதேசிகளுமாயிருந்தார்கள்.
13And they went about from nation to nation, From one kingdom to another people.
13அவர்கள் ஒரு ஜனத்தைவிட்டு மறு ஜனத்தண்டைக்கும், ஒரு ராஜ்யத்தைவிட்டு மறு தேசத்தாரண்டைக்கும் போனார்கள்.
14He suffered no man to do them wrong; Yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,
14அவர்களை ஒடுக்கும்படி ஒருவருக்கும் இடங்கொடாமல், அவர்கள் நிமித்தம் ராஜாக்களைக் கடிந்து கொண்டு:
15[Saying], Touch not mine anointed ones, And do my prophets no harm.
15நான் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணினவர்களை நீங்கள் தொடாமலும், என்னுடைய தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுக்குத் தீங்கு செய்யாமலும் இருங்கள் என்றார்.
16And he called for a famine upon the land; He brake the whole staff of bread.
16அவர் தேசத்திலே பஞ்சத்தை வருவித்து, ஆகாரமென்னும் ஆதரவுகோலை முற்றிலும் முறித்தார்.
17He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold for a servant:
17அவர்களுக்கு முன்னாலே ஒரு புருஷனை அனுப்பினார்; யோசேப்பு சிறையாக விற்கப்பட்டான்.
18His feet they hurt with fetters: He was laid in [chains of] iron,
18அவன் கால்களை விலங்குபோட்டு ஒடுக்கினார்கள்; அவன் பிராணன் இரும்பில் அடைபட்டிருந்தது.
19Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of Jehovah tried him.
19கர்த்தர் சொன்ன வார்த்தை நிறைவேறுமளவும் அவருடைய வசனம் அவனைப் புடமிட்டது.
20The king sent and loosed him; Even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free.
20ராஜா ஆள் அனுப்பி, அவனைக் கட்டவிழ்க்கச் சொன்னான்; ஜனங்களின் அதிபதி அவனை விடுதலைபண்ணினான்.
21He made him lord of his house, And ruler of all his substance;
21தன் பிரபுக்களை அவன் மனதின்படி கட்டவும், தன் மூப்பர்களை ஞானிகளாக்கவும்,
22To bind his princes at his pleasure, And teach his elders wisdom.
22அவனைத் தன் வீட்டுக்கு ஆண்டவனும், தன் ஆஸ்திக்கெல்லாம் அதிபதியுமாக்கினான்.
23Israel also came into Egypt; And Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
23அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் எகிப்திற்கு வந்தான்; யாக்கோபு காமின் தேசத்திலே பரதேசியாயிருந்தான்.
24And he increased his people greatly, And made them stronger than their adversaries.
24அவர் தம்முடைய ஜனங்களை மிகவும் பலுகப்பண்ணி, அவர்களுடைய சத்துருக்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் அவர்களைப் பலவான்களாக்கினார்.
25He turned their heart to hate his people, To deal subtly with his servants.
25தம்முடைய ஜனங்களைப் பகைக்கவும், தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரரை வஞ்சனையாய் நடத்தவும், அவர்களுடைய இருதயத்தை மாற்றினார்.
26He sent Moses his servant, [And] Aaron whom he had chosen.
26தம்முடைய தாசனாகிய மோசேயையும் தாம் தெரிந்துகொண்ட ஆரோனையும் அனுப்பினார்.
27They set among them his signs, And wonders in the land of Ham.
27இவர்கள் அவர்களுக்குள் அவருடைய அடையாளங்களையும், காமின் தேசத்திலே அற்புதங்களையும் செய்தார்கள்.
28He sent darkness, and made it dark; And they rebelled not against his words.
28அவர் இருளை அனுப்பி, அந்தகாரத்தை உண்டாக்கினார்; அவருடைய வார்த்தைகளை எதிர்ப்பாரில்லை.
29He turned their waters into blood, And slew their fish.
29அவர்களுடைய தண்ணீர்களை இரத்தமாக மாற்றி, அவர்களுடைய மச்சங்களைச் சாகப்பண்ணினார்.
30Their land swarmed with frogs In the chambers of their kings.
30அவர்களுடைய தேசம் தவளைகளைத் திரளாய்ப் பிறப்பித்தது; அவர்களுடைய ராஜாக்களின் அறைவீடுகளிலும் அவைகள் வந்தது.
31He spake, and there came swarms of flies, And lice in all their borders.
31அவர் கட்டளையிட, அவர்களுடைய எல்லைகளிலெங்கும் வண்டுகளும் பேன்களும் வந்தது.
32He gave them hail for rain, [And] flaming fire in their land.
32அவர்களுடைய மழைகளைக் கல்மழையாக்கி, அவர்களுடைய தேசத்திலே ஜூவாலிக்கிற அக்கினியை வரப்பண்ணினார்.
33He smote their vines also and their fig-trees, And brake the trees of their borders.
33அவர்களுடைய திராட்சச் செடிகளையும் அத்திமரங்களையும் அழித்து, அவர்களுடைய எல்லைகளிலுள்ள மரங்களையும் முறித்தார்.
34He spake, and the locust came, And the grasshopper, and that without number,
34அவர் கட்டளையிட, எண்ணிமுடியாத வெட்டுக்கிளிகளும் பச்சைப்புழுக்களும் வந்து,
35And did eat up every herb in their land, And did eat up the fruit of their ground.
35அவர்களுடைய தேசத்திலுள்ள சகல பூண்டுகளையும் அரித்து, அவர்களுடைய நிலத்தின் கனியைத் தின்றுபோட்டது.
36He smote also all the first-born in their land, The chief of all their strength.
36அவர்களுடைய தேசத்திலே தலைச்சன்கள் அனைத்தையும், அவர்களுடைய பெலனில் முதற்பெலனான யாவரையும் சங்கரித்தார்.
37And he brought them forth with silver and gold; And there was not one feeble person among his tribes.
37அப்பொழுது அவர்களை வெள்ளியோடும் பொன்னோடும் புறப்படப்பண்ணினார்; அவர்கள் கோத்திரங்களில் பலவீனப்பட்டவன் ஒருவனும் இருந்ததில்லை.
38Egypt was glad when they departed; For the fear of them had fallen upon them.
38எகிப்தியர் அவர்களுக்குப் பயந்ததினால், அவர்கள் புறப்பட்டபோது மகிழ்ந்தார்கள்.
39He spread a cloud for a covering, And fire to give light in the night.
39அவர் மேகத்தை மறைவுக்காக விரித்து, இரவை வெளிச்சமாக்குகிறதற்காக அக்கினியையும் தந்தார்.
40They asked, and he brought quails, And satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
40கேட்டார்கள், அவர் காடைகளை வரப்பண்ணினார்; வான அப்பத்தினாலும் அவர்களைத் திருப்தியாக்கினார்.
41He opened the rock, and waters gushed out; They ran in the dry places [like] a river.
41கன்மலையைத் திறந்தார், தண்ணீர்கள் புறப்பட்டு, வறண்ட வெளிகளில் ஆறாய் ஓடிற்று.
42For he remembered his holy word, [And] Abraham his servant.
42அவர் தம்முடைய பரிசுத்த வாக்குத்தத்தத்தையும், தம்முடைய தாசனாகிய ஆபிரகாமையும் நினைத்து,
43And he brought forth his people with joy, [And] his chosen with singing.
43தம்முடைய ஜனத்தைக் களிப்போடும், தாம் தெரிந்துகொண்டவர்களைக் கெம்பீர சத்தத்தோடும் புறப்படப்பண்ணி,
44And he gave them the lands of the nations; And they took the labor of the peoples in possession:
44தமது கட்டளைகளைக் காத்து நடக்கும்படிக்கும், தமது நியாயப்பிரமாணங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கும்,
45That they might keep his statutes, And observe his laws. Praise ye Jehovah.
45அவர்களுக்குப் புறஜாதிகளுடைய தேசங்களைக் கொடுத்தார்; அந்நிய ஜனங்களுடைய பிரயாசத்தின் பலனைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொண்டார்கள். அல்லேலூயா.
