1A Psalm of David. Ascribe unto Jehovah, O ye sons of the mighty, Ascribe unto Jehovah glory and strength.
1தேவ புத்திரரே, கர்த்தருக்கு மகிமையையும் வல்லமையையும் செலுத்துங்கள்; கர்த்தருக்கே அதைச் செலுத்துங்கள்.
2Ascribe unto Jehovah the glory due unto his name; Worship Jehovah in holy array.
2கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்திற்குரிய மகிமையை அவருக்குச் செலுத்துங்கள்; பரிசுத்த அலங்காரத்துடனே கர்த்தரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுங்கள்.
3The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters: The God of glory thundereth, Even Jehovah upon many waters.
3கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் தண்ணீர்களின்மேல் தொனிக்கிறது; மகிமையுள்ள தேவன் முழங்குகிறார்; கர்த்தர் திரளான தண்ணீர்களின்மேல் இருக்கிறார்.
4The voice of Jehovah is powerful; The voice of Jehovah is full of majesty.
4கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் வல்லமையுள்ளது; கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் மகத்துவமுள்ளது.
5The voice of Jehovah breaketh the cedars; Yea, Jehovah breaketh in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
5கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் கேதுருமரங்களை முறிக்கிறது; கர்த்தர் லீபனோனின் கேதுமரங்களை முறிக்கிறார்.
6He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild-ox.
6அவைகளைக் கன்றுக்குட்டிகளைப்போலவும், லீபனோனையும் சீரியோனையும் காண்டாமிருகக் குட்டிகளைப்போலவும் துள்ளப்பண்ணுகிறார்.
7The voice of Jehovah cleaveth the flames of fire.
7கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் அக்கினி ஜூவாலைகளைப் பிளக்கும்.
8The voice of Jehovah shaketh the wilderness; Jehovah shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
8கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் வனாந்தரத்தை அதிரப்பண்ணும்; கர்த்தர் காதேஸ் வனாந்தரத்தை அதிரப்பண்ணுகிறார்.
9The voice of Jehovah maketh the hinds to calve, And strippeth the forests bare: And in his temple everything saith, Glory.
9கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் பெண்மான்களை ஈனும்படி செய்து, காடுகளை வெளியாக்கும்; அவருடைய ஆலயத்திலுள்ள யாவரும் "கர்த்தருக்கு மகிமை" என்று ஆர்ப்பரிக்கிறார்கள்.
10Jehovah sat [as King] at the Flood; Yea, Jehovah sitteth as King for ever.
10கர்த்தர் ஜலப்பிரளயத்தின்மேல் வீற்றிருந்தார்; கர்த்தர் என்றென்றைக்கும் ராஜாவாக வீற்றிருக்கிறார்.
11Jehovah will give strength unto his people; Jehovah will bless his people with peace.
11கர்த்தர் தமது ஜனத்திற்குப் பெலன் கொடுப்பார்; கர்த்தர் தமது ஜனத்திற்குச் சமாதானம் அருளி, அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்.
