1[A Psalm] of David. Strive thou, O Jehovah, with them that strive with me: Fight thou against them that fight against me.
1கர்த்தாவே, நீர் என் வழக்காளிகளோடே வழக்காடி, என்னோடு யுத்தம்பண்ணுகிறவர்களோடே யுத்தம் பண்ணும்.
2Take hold of shield and buckler, And stand up for my help.
2நீர் கேடகத்தையும் பரிசையையும் பிடித்து, எனக்கு ஒத்தாசையாக எழுந்து நில்லும்.
3Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that pursue me: Say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.
3என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறவர்களோடு எதிர்த்து நின்று, ஈட்டியையோங்கி அவர்களை மறித்து: நான் உன் இரட்சிப்பு என்று என் ஆத்துமாவுக்குச் சொல்லும்.
4Let them be put to shame and brought to dishonor that seek after my soul: Let them be turned back and confounded that devise my hurt.
4என் பிராணனை வாங்கத்தேடுகிறவர்கள் வெட்கப்பட்டுக் கலங்குவார்களாக; எனக்குத் தீங்குசெய்ய நினைக்கிறவர்கள் நாணமடைவார்களாக.
5Let them be as chaff before the wind, And the angel of Jehovah driving [them] on.
5அவர்கள் காற்றுமுகத்தில் பறக்கும் பதரைப்போலாவார்களாக; கர்த்தருடைய தூதன் அவர்களைத் துரத்துவானாக.
6Let their way be dark and slippery, And the angel of Jehovah pursuing them.
6அவர்களுடைய வழி இருளும் சறுக்கலுமாயிருப்பதாக; கர்த்தருடைய தூதன் அவர்களைப் பின்தொடருவானாக.
7For without cause have they hid for me their net [in] a pit; Without cause have they digged [a pit] for my soul.
7முகாந்தரமில்லாமல் எனக்காகத் தங்கள் வலையைக் குழியில் ஒளித்துவைத்தார்கள்; முகாந்தரமில்லாமல் என் ஆத்துமாவுக்குப் படுகுழி வெட்டினார்கள்.
8Let destruction come upon him unawares; And let his net that he hath hid catch himself: With destruction let him fall therein.
8அவன் நினையாத அழிவு அவனுக்கு வரவும், அவன் மறைவாய் வைத்த வலை அவனையே பிடிக்கவுங்கடவது; அவனே அந்தக் குழியில் விழுந்து அழிவானாக.
9And my soul shall be joyful in Jehovah: It shall rejoice in his salvation.
9என் ஆத்துமா கர்த்தரில் களிகூர்ந்து, அவருடைய இரட்சிப்பில் மகிழ்ந்திருக்கும்.
10All my bones shall say, Jehovah, who is like unto thee, Who deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, Yea, the poor and the needy from him that robbeth him?
10சிறுமைப்பட்டவனை அவனிலும் பலவானுடைய கைக்கும், சிறுமையும் எளிமையுமானவனைக் கொள்ளையிடுகிறவனுடைய கைக்கும் தப்புவிக்கிற உமக்கொப்பானவர் யார் கர்த்தாவே, என்று என் எலும்புகளெல்லாம் சொல்லும்.
11Unrighteous witnesses rise up; They ask me of things that I know not.
11கொடுமையான சாட்சிகள் எழும்பி, நான் அறியாததை என்னிடத்தில் கேட்கிறார்கள்.
12They reward me evil for good, [To] the bereaving of my soul.
12நான் செய்த நன்மைக்குப் பதிலாகத் தீமைசெய்கிறார்கள்; என் ஆத்துமா திக்கற்றுப்போகப் பார்க்கிறார்கள்.
13But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I afflicted my soul with fasting; And my prayer returned into mine own bosom.
13அவர்கள் வியாதியாயிருந்தபோது இரட்டு என் உடுப்பாயிருந்தது; நான் உபவாசத்தால் என் ஆத்துமாவை உபத்திரவப்படுத்தினேன்; என் ஜெபமும் என் மடியிலே திரும்பவந்தது.
14I behaved myself as though it had been my friend or my brother: I bowed down mourning, as one that bewaileth his mother.
14நான் அவனை என் சிநேகிதனாகவும் சகோதரனாகவும் பாவித்து நடந்துகொண்டேன்; தாய்க்காகத் துக்கிக்கிறவனைப்போல் துக்கவஸ்திரம் தரித்துத் தலைகவிழ்த்து நடந்தேன்.
15But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: The abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew [it] not; They did tear me, and ceased not:
15ஆனாலும் எனக்கு ஆபத்துண்டானபோது அவர்கள் சந்தோஷப்பட்டுக் கூட்டங்கூடினார்கள்; நீசரும் நான் அறியாதவர்களும் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கூட்டங்கூடி, ஓயாமல் என்னை நிந்தித்தார்கள்.
16Like the profane mockers in feasts, They gnashed upon me with their teeth.
16அப்பத்திற்காக இச்சகம் பேசுகிற பரியாசக்காரரோடே சேர்ந்துகொண்டு என்பேரில் பற்கடிக்கிறார்கள்.
17Lord, how long wilt thou look on? Rescue my soul from their destructions, My darling from the lions.
17ஆண்டவரே, எதுவரைக்கும் இதைப் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருப்பீர்? என் ஆத்துமாவை அழிவுக்கும், எனக்கு அருமையானதைச் சிங்கக்குட்டிகளுக்கும் தப்புவியும்.
18I will give thee thanks in the great assembly: I will praise thee among much people.
18மகா சபையிலே உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன், திரளான ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே உம்மைப் புகழுவேன்.
19Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; Neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
19வீணாய் எனக்குச் சத்துருக்களானவர்கள் என்னிமித்தம் சந்தோஷியாமலும், முகாந்தரமில்லாமல் என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்கள் கண் சிமிட்டாமலும் இருப்பார்களாக.
20For they speak not peace; But they devise deceitful words against them that are quiet in the land.
20அவர்கள் சமாதானமாய்ப் பேசாமல், தேசத்திலே அமைதலாயிருக்கிறவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாய் வஞ்சகமான காரியங்களைக் கருதுகிறார்கள்.
21Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me; They said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.
21எனக்கு விரோதமாகத் தங்கள் வாயை விரிவாய்த் திறந்து, ஆ ஆ, ஆ ஆ, எங்கள் கண் கண்டது என்கிறார்கள்.
22Thou hast seen it, O Jehovah; keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.
22கர்த்தாவே, நீர் இதைக் கண்டீர், மவுனமாயிராதேயும்; ஆண்டவரே, எனக்குத் தூரமாகாதேயும்.
23Stir up thyself, and awake to the justice [due] unto me, [Even] unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
23என் தேவனே, என் ஆண்டவரே, எனக்கு நியாயஞ்செய்யவும் என் வழக்கைத் தீர்க்கவும் விழித்துக்கொண்டு எழுந்தருளும்.
24Judge me, O Jehovah my God, according to thy righteousness; And let them not rejoice over me.
24என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய நீதியின்படி என்னை நியாயம் விசாரியும், என்னைக்குறித்து அவர்களை மகிழவொட்டாதிரும்.
25Let them not say in their heart, Aha, so would we have it: Let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
25அவர்கள் தங்கள் இருதயத்திலே: ஆ ஆ, இதுவே நாங்கள் விரும்பினது என்று சொல்லாதபடிக்கும், அவனை விழுங்கிவிட்டோம் என்று பேசாதபடிக்கும் செய்யும்.
26Let them be put to shame and confounded together that rejoice at my hurt: Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify themselves against me.
26எனக்கு நேரிட்ட ஆபத்துக்காகச் சந்தோஷிக்கிறவர்கள் ஏகமாய் வெட்கி நாணி, எனக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பெருமைபாராட்டுகிறவர்கள் வெட்கத்தாலும் இலச்சையாலும் மூடப்படக்கடவர்கள்.
27Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: Yea, let them say continually, Jehovah be magnified, Who hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
27என் நீதிவிளங்க விரும்புகிறவர்கள் கெம்பீரித்து மகிழ்ந்து, தமது ஊழியக்காரனுடைய சுகத்தை விரும்புகிற கர்த்தருக்கு மகிமை உண்டாவதாக என்று எப்போதும் சொல்லக்கடவர்கள்.
28And my tongue shall talk of thy righteousness [And] of thy praise all the day long.
28என் நாவு உமது நீதியையும், நாள்முழுவதும் உமது துதியையும் சொல்லிக்கொண்டிருக்கும்.
