¹Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: Oh deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

¹தேவனே, நீர் என் நியாயத்தை விசாரித்து, பக்தியில்லாத ஜாதியாரோடு எனக்காக வழக்காடி, சூதும் அநியாயமுமான மனுஷனுக்கு என்னைத் தப்புவியும்.

²For thou art the God of my strength; why hast thou cast me off? Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

²என் அரணாகிய தேவன் நீர்; ஏன் என்னைத் தள்ளிவிடுகிறீர்? சத்துருவினால் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டு நான் ஏன் துக்கத்துடனே திரியவேண்டும்?

³Oh send out thy light and thy truth; let them lead me: Let them bring me unto thy holy hill, And to thy tabernacles.

³உமது வெளிச்சத்தையும் உமது சத்தியத்தையும் அனுப்பியருளும்; அவைகள் என்னை நடத்தி, உமது பரிசுத்த பர்வதத்திற்கும் உமது வாசஸ்தலங்களுக்கும் என்னைக் கொண்டுபோவதாக.

⁴Then will I go unto the altar of God, Unto God my exceeding joy; And upon the harp will I praise thee, O God, my God.

⁴அப்பொழுது நான் தேவனுடைய பீடத்தண்டைக்கும், எனக்கு ஆனந்த மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருக்கிற தேவனிடத்திற்கும் பிரவேசிப்பேன். தேவனே, என் தேவனே, உம்மைச் சுரமண்டலத்தால் துதிப்பேன்.

⁵Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him, [Who is] the help of my countenance, and my God.

⁵என் ஆத்துமாவே, நீ ஏன் கலங்குகிறாய்? ஏன் எனக்குள் தியங்குகிறாய்? தேவனை நோக்கிக் காத்திரு; என் முகத்திற்கு இரட்சிப்பும் என் தேவனுமாயிருக்கிறவரை நான் இன்னும் துதிப்பேன்;
