1For the Chief Musician; [set to] Al-tashheth. [A Psalm] of David. Michtam; when Saul sent, and they watched the house to kill him. Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: Set me on high from them that rise up against me.
1என் தேவனே, என் சத்துருக்களுக்கு என்னைத் தப்புவியும்; என்மேல் எழும்புகிறவர்களுக்கு என்னை விலக்கி உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலத்திலே வையும்.
2Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, And save me from the bloodthirsty men.
2அக்கிரமக்காரருக்கு என்னைத் தப்புவித்து, இரத்தப்பிரியரான மனுஷருக்கு என்னை விலக்கி இரட்சியும்.
3For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul; The mighty gather themselves together against me: Not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Jehovah.
3இதோ, என் பிராணனுக்குப் பதிவிருக்கிறார்கள்; கர்த்தாவே, என்னிடத்தில் மீறுதலும் பாவமும் இல்லாதிருந்தும், பலவான்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கூட்டங்கூடுகிறார்கள்.
4They run and prepare themselves without [my] fault: Awake thou to help me, and behold.
4என்னிடத்தில் அக்கிரமம் இல்லாதிருந்தும், ஓடித்திரிந்து யுத்தத்துக்கு ஆயத்தமாகிறார்கள்; எனக்குத் துணைசெய்ய விழித்து என்னை நோக்கிப்பாரும்.
5Even thou, O Jehovah God of hosts, the God of Israel, Arise to visit all the nations: Be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah
5சேனைகளின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனே, நீர் சகல ஜாதிகளையும் விசாரிக்க விழித்தெழும்பும்; வஞ்சகமாய்த் துரோகஞ்செய்கிற ஒருவருக்கும் தயை செய்யாதேயும். (சேலா)
6They return at evening, they howl like a dog, And go round about the city.
6அவர்கள் சாயங்காலத்தில் திரும்பிவந்து, நாய்களைப்போல ஊளையிட்டு, ஊரைச்சுற்றித் திரிகிறார்கள்.
7Behold, they belch out with their mouth; Swords are in their lips: For who, [say they], doth hear?
7இதோ, தங்கள் வார்த்தைகளைக் கக்குகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் உதடுகளில் பட்டயங்கள் இருக்கிறது, கேட்கிறவன் யார் என்கிறார்கள்.
8But thou, O Jehovah, wilt laugh at them; Thou wilt have all the nations in derision.
8ஆனாலும் கர்த்தாவே, நீர் அவர்களைப்பார்த்து நகைப்பீர்; புறஜாதிகள் யாவரையும் இகழுவீர்.
9[Because of] his strength I will give heed unto thee; For God is my high tower.
9அவன் வல்லமையை நான் கண்டு, உமக்குக் காத்திருப்பேன்; தேவனே எனக்கு உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலம்.
10My God with his lovingkindness will meet me: God will let me see [my desire] upon mine enemies.
10என் தேவன் தம்முடைய கிருபையினால் என்னைச் சந்திப்பார்; தேவன் என் சத்துருக்களுக்கு வரும் நீதிசரிக்கட்டுதலை நான் காணும்படி செய்வார்.
11Slay them not, lest my people forget: Scatter them by thy power, and bring them down, O Lord our shield.
11அவர்களைக் கொன்றுபோடாதேயும், என் ஜனங்கள் மறந்துபோவார்களே; எங்கள் கேடகமாகிய ஆண்டவரே, உமது வல்லமையினால் அவர்களைச் சிதறடித்து, அவர்களைத் தாழ்த்திப்போடும்.
12[For] the sin of their mouth, [and] the words of their lips, Let them even be taken in their pride, And for cursing and lying which they speak.
12அவர்கள் உதடுகளின் பேச்சு அவர்கள் வாயின் பாவமாயிருக்கிறது; அவர்கள் இட்ட சாபமும் சொல்லிய பொய்யும் ஆகிய இவைகளினிமித்தம் தங்கள் பெருமையில் அகப்படுவார்களாக.
13Consume them in wrath, consume them, so that they shall be no more: And let them know that God ruleth in Jacob, Unto the ends of the earth. Selah

14And at evening let them return, let them howl like a dog, And go round about the city.

15They shall wander up and down for food, And tarry all night if they be not satisfied.
15அவர்கள் உணவுக்காக அலைந்து திரிந்து திருப்தியடையாமல், முறுமுறுத்துக்கொண்டிருப்பார்கள்.
16But I will sing of thy strength; Yea, I will sing aloud of thy lovingkindness in the morning: For thou hast been my high tower, And a refuge in the day of my distress.
16நானோ உம்முடைய வல்லமையைப் பாடி, காலையிலே உம்முடைய கிருபையை மகிழ்ச்சியோடு புகழுவேன்; எனக்கு நெருக்கமுண்டான நாளிலே நீர் எனக்குத் தஞ்சமும் உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமுமானீர்.
17Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing praises: For God is my high tower, the God of my mercy.
17என் பெலனே, உம்மைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுவேன்; தேவன் எனக்கு உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமும், கிருபையுள்ள என் தேவனுமாயிருக்கிறார்.
