¹யூதாவில் தேவன் அறியப்பட்டவர்; இஸ்ரவேலில் அவருடைய நாமம் பெரியது.

²In Salem also is his tabernacle, And his dwelling-place in Zion.

²சாலேமில் அவருடைய கூடாரமும், சீயோனில் அவருடைய வாசஸ்தலமும் இருக்கிறது.

³There he brake the arrows of the bow; The shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah

³அங்கேயிருந்து வில்லின் அம்புகளையும், கேடகத்தையும், பட்டயத்தையும், யுத்தத்தையும் முறித்தார். (சேலா)

⁴Glorious art thou [and] excellent, From the mountains of prey.

⁴மகத்துவமுள்ளவரே, கொள்ளையுள்ள பர்வதங்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் நீர் பிரகாசமுள்ளவர்.

⁵The stouthearted are made a spoil, They have slept their sleep; And none of the men of might have found their hands.

⁵தைரிய நெஞ்சுள்ளவர்கள் கொள்ளையிடப்பட்டு, நித்திரையடைந்து அசந்தார்கள்; வல்லமையுள்ள எல்லா மனுஷருடைய கைகளும் அவர்களுக்கு உதவாமற்போயிற்று.

⁶At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, Both chariot and horse are cast into a deep sleep.

⁶யாக்கோபின் தேவனே, உம்முடைய கண்டிதத்தினால் இரதங்களும் குதிரைகளும் உறங்கி விழுந்தது.

⁷Thou, even thou, art to be feared; And who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?

⁷நீர், நீரே, பயங்கரமானவர்; உமது கோபம் மூளும்போது உமக்கு முன்பாக நிற்பவன் யார்?

⁸Thou didst cause sentence to be heard from heaven; The earth feared, and was still,

⁸நியாயம் விசாரிக்கவும் பூமியில் சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்கள் யாவரையும் இரட்சிக்கவும், தேவரீர் எழுந்தருளினபோது,

⁹When God arose to judgment, To save all the meek of the earth. Selah

⁹வானத்திலிருந்து நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக் கேட்கப்பண்ணினீர்; பூமி பயந்து அமர்ந்தது. (சேலா)

¹⁰Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: The residue of wrath shalt thou gird upon thee.

¹⁰மனுஷனுடைய கோபம் உமது மகிமையை விளங்கப்பண்ணும்; மிஞ்சுங்கோபத்தை நீர் அடக்குவீர்.

¹¹Vow, and pay unto Jehovah your God: Let all that are round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.

¹¹பொருத்தனைப்பண்ணி அதை உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு நிறைவேற்றுங்கள்; அவரைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கிற அனைவரும் பயங்கரமானவருக்குக் காணிக்கைகளைக் கொண்டுவரக்கடவர்கள்.

¹²He will cut off the spirit of princes: He is terrible to the kings of the earth.
