1इहइ खातिर सब बुराइयन, छल-छदम पाखण्ड अउर बैर-विरोधन अउर दुसर क दोख मढ़इ स अलग रहा।
1Putting away therefore all wickedness, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
2नवजात बचवन क तरह सुद्ध आत्मिक दूध खातिर ललचावा करा जेहसे तोहार विकास अउर तोहका बचावा जाइ सकइ।
2as newborn babes, long for the spiritual milk which is without guile, that ye may grow thereby unto salvation;
3अब देखा तू पचे तउ परमेस्सर क अच्छाई क स्वाद तउ लइ ही लिहे अहा।
3if ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious:
4ओह क लगे आवा। उ सजीव “पाथर” अहइ। वहिका संसारी लोगन क नकार दिहे रहा मुला उ परमेस्सर खातिर बहुमूल्य अहइ अउर जउन ओकरे दुआरा चुना गवा अहइ।
4unto whom coming, a living stone, rejected indeed of men, but with God elect, precious,
5तू पचे भी सजीव पाथरन क तरह एक आत्मिक मन्दिर क रूप मँ बनाइ जात अहा। जइसेन पवित्तर याजकन क रूप मँ सेवा कइ सका। जेहमा कर्तव्य अइसेन आत्मिक बलिदानन क समर्पित करब अहइ जउन ईसू मसीह क दुआरा परमेस्सर क ग्रहण करइ लायक होइ।
5ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
6पवित्तर सास्तर मँ लिखा बा: “देखउ, मइँ राखत हउँ सिय्योन मँ कोने क पाथर एक जउन अहइ बहुमूल्य अउर अहइ चुना गवा अहइ जउन ओह पइ जउन बिस्सास करी ओका कबहुँ क लजाइ न परी।” यसायाह 28:16
6Because it is contained in scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: And he that believeth on him shall not be put to shame.
7एकर मूल्य तउ ओहके बरे अहइ जउन बिस्सास करत ही मुला ओनके खातिर जउन बिस्सास नाही करत अहइँ: “उ पाथर जेका सिल्पियन नकारिन बन गवा सबन त जियादा महत्त्वपूर्ण कोने क पाथर।” भजन संहिता 118:22
7For you therefore that believe is the preciousness: but for such as disbelieve, The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner;
8तथा उ बन गवा: “एक पाथर जहाँ लोग ठोकर खाइ अउर अइसी चट्टान जहाँ स मनई फिसल जाइँ।” यसायाह 8:14 लोग ठोकर खात हीं काहेकि उ परमेस्सर क वचन क पालन नाही करतेन बस ओनकइ इही नीत रही बाटइ।
8and, A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence; for they stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
9मुला तू तउ चुने भए लोग अहा, याजकन क राज्ज, एक पवित्तर रास्ट्र एक अइसेन मनइयन जउन परमेस्सर क आपन अहइँ, जइसेन तउ परमेस्सर क अचरज कारजन क घोसणा कइ सका।” उ परमेस्सर जउन तोहका अन्धकार स अद्भुत प्रकास मँ बोलाएस ह।
9But ye are a elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for [God's] own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
10एक समइ रहा जब तू परमेस्सर क लोग नाही रह्या। मुला अब तू परमेस्सर क लोगन अहा। एक समइ रहा जब दया क पात्र नाही रह्या मुला अब तू सबन प परमेस्सर दया देखाइस ह।
10who in time past were no people, but now are the people of God: who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
11पिआरे बन्धुअन, तू पचे इ संसार मँ अतिथि अउर अजनबी क रूप मँ अहा एह बरे मइँ तू पचन स निवेदन करत अहउँ कि उ सारीरीक इच्छन स दूर रहा जउन तोहारे पचन क आतिमा स जूझत ही।
11Beloved, I beseech you as sojourners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly lust, which war against the soul;
12अबिस्सासियन मँ आपन व्यवहार ऍतना नीक बनाए रहा कि चाहे उ अपराधियन क रूप मँ तोहार सबन क आलोचना करइँ मुला तोहरे नीक कर्मन क परिणाम सरूप परमेस्सर क आवइ क दिन मँ परमेस्सर क महिमा प्रदान करा।
12having your behavior seemly among the Gentiles; that, wherein they speak against you as evil-doers, they may by your good works, which they behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
13पर्भू खातिर हर मनवीय अधिकारिक क अधीन रहा।
13Be subject to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether to the king, as supreme;
14राजा क अधीन रहा। उ सर्वोच्च अधिकारी अहइ। सासकन क अधीन रहा। उ ओनका कुकर्मीमयन क दण्ड देइ खातिर अउर नीक काम क प्रसंसा करइ क खातिर भेजे अहइ।
14or unto governors, as sent by him for vengeance on evil-doers and for praise to them that do well.
15काहेकि परमेस्सर क इहइ इच्छा अहइ कि उ अपने नीक कर्मन क मूरखन क अगियान भरी बातन क चुप कराइ देइ।
15For so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
16स्वतंत्र मनइयन क तरह जिआ मुला स्वतंत्रता क बुरे कर्मन क आड़ न बनइ द्या। परमेस्सर क सेवक बनके जिआ।
16as free, and not using your freedom for a cloak of wickedness, but as bondservants of God.
17सबन क सम्मान करा। अपने धरम भाइयन तथा बहिनियन स पिरेम करा। परमेस्सर प श्रद्धा रखा। सासक क सम्मान करा।
17Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
18सेवको, यथोचित आदर क साथ अपने स्वामियन क अधीन रहा। न केवल ओनके जउन नीक बाटेन अउर दूसरे क खातिर चिन्ता करत अहइँ। बल्कि ओनके बरे जउन कठोर अहइँ।
18Servants, [be] in subjection to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
19काहेकि जदि कउनो परमेस्सर क उपस्थिति क प्रति सचेत रहत भए यातना सहत ह अउर अन्याय झेलत ह तउ उ प्रसंसनीय अहइ।
19For this is acceptable, if for conscience toward God a man endureth griefs, suffering wrongfully.
20मुला अगर बुरे करम क खातिर तोहका पीटा जात ह अउर तू ओका सहत ह तउ एहमाँ प्रसंसा क कउन बात अहइ, मुला अहगर तोहरे कर्मन खातिर तोहका कस्ट दीन्ह जात ह तउ परमेस्सर क सामने उ प्रसंसा क जोग्य अहइ।
20For what glory is it, if, when ye sin, and are buffeted [for it], ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer [for it], ye shall take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
21परमेस्सर तोहका इ खातिर बोलइस ह काहेकि मसीह हमरे बरे दुःख उठाएस ह अउर इ कइके हमरे बरे एक उदाहरण छोड़ेस ह ताकि मइँ ओहका चरण चिन्हन प चल सकउँ।
21For hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that ye should follow his steps:
22“उ (मसीह) कउनो पाप नाही किहेस अउर न ही ओकरे मुँहे स कउनो छल की बात निकरी।” यसायाह 53:9
22who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
23जब उ अपमानित भवा तउ उ कउनो क अपमान नाही किहेस अउर जब उ दुःख झेलेस, उ कउनो क धमकी नाही दिहस, बल्कि उ सच्चे निआव करइवाले परमेस्सर क आगे आपन क अर्पित कइ दिहेस।
23who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered threatened not; but committed [himself] to him that judgeth righteously:
24उ क्रूस अपने देह मँ हमरे पापन क ओढ़ लिहेस। जइसेन अपने पापन क प्रति हमार मउत होइ जाइ अउर जउन कछू नेक अहइ मइँ ओकरे बरे जिई, ई उ घावन क कारण भवा ह जेनसे तू पचे चंगे कीन्ह गए रह्या।
24who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.
25काहेकि तू भेड़न क समान भटके रह्या अउर अब तू पचे अपने गड़िया अउर अपनी आतिमन क बचइया लगे लउतटि आए अहा।
25For ye were going astray like sheep; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
