1पिआरे मित्रन, काहेकि हमरे लगे इ प्रतिज्ञाँ अहइँ, इही बरे आवा परमेस्सर क बरे स्रद्धा क कारण हम अपने पवित्रता क परिपूरन करत भए अपने बाहेर अउर भीतर सबन दोसन क धोइ डालेन। हमका परिपूर्ण होइ चाही जइसे हम जिअत अही, काहेकि हम परमेस्सर क सम्मान करित ह।
1Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
2अपने मने मँ हमका स्थान द्या हम कउनो क कछू बिगाड़े नाहीं अही। हम कउनो क कउनउ ठेस नाही पहुँचाए अही। हम कउनो क साथे छल नाहीं किहे अही।
2Open your hearts to us: we wronged no man, we corrupted no man, we took advantage of no man.
3मइँ तोहे दोसी ठहरावइ बरे अइसेन नाहीं करत अही काहेकि मइँ तोहे बताइ चु का अही कि तु तउ हमरे मने मँ बसत। हिआँ तलक कि हम तोहरे साथ मरई क अउर जिअइ क तइयार अही।
3I say it not to condemn [you]: for I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die together and live together.
4मइँ तोहसे खुलकर कहत रहा हउँ कि तोहपे मोका बड़ा गरब बा। मइँ सुख चैन से अहउँ। आपन सब यातना झेलत मोका आनन्द उमड़त रहत ह।
4Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying on your behalf: I am filled with comfort, I overflow with joy in all our affliction.
5जब हम मैसीडोनिया आइ रहे तबहुँ हमका आराम नाहीं मिल रहा, बल्कि हमका तउ सब तरह से दुख उठावइ पड़ा रहा बाहेर क झगड़न से अउर मन क भितर डर से।
5For even when we were come into Macedonia our flesh had no relief, but [we were] afflicted on every side; without [were] fightings, within [were] fears.
6मुला दीन दुखिन क खुस करइवाला परमेस्सर त तीतुस क इहाँ पहुँचाइके हमाका सान्त्वना दिहे अहइ।
6Nevertheless he that comforteth the lowly, [even] God, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
7अउर उहउ केवल ओनके इहाँ पहुँचेन की नाहीं बल्कि अइसे हमका अउर जियादा सान्त्वना मिली कि तू ओका केतना सुख दिहे अहा। उ हमका बताएस कि हमसे मिलइ क तू केतना बियाकुल अहा। तोहका हमार केतॅना चिन्ता बा। ऐसे हम अउर भी खुस भए।
7and not by his coming only, but also by the comfort wherewith he was comforted in you, while he told us your longing, your mourning, your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced yet more.
8जद्यपि अपने चिठ्ठी स मइँ तोहका दुख पहुँचाए हउँ मुला फिन भी मोका ओके लिखाई क खेद नाहीं बा। चाहे पहिले मोका एकर दुख भवा मुला अब मइँ देखत अही कि उ चिठ्ठी स तोहे बस पल भरे क दुख पहुँचाइ रहेउँ।
8For though I made you sorry with my epistle, I do not regret it: though I did regret [it] (for I see that that epistle made you sorry, though but for a season),
9तउ अब मइँ खुस हउँ। एह बरे नाही कि मइँ तोहका दुख पहुँचाए रहेउँ। बल्कि एह बरे कि उही दुखे क कारण से तू पछतावा किहे अहा। तोहका उ दुख भवा जेह तरह कि परमेस्सर चाहत रहा ताकि तोहका हमरे कारण कउनउ हानि न पहुँच पावइ।
9I now rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye were made sorry unto repentance; for ye were made sorry after a godly sort, that ye might suffer loss by us in nothing.
10काहेकि उ दुख जउन परमेस्सर की इच्छा क अनुसार होत ह एक अइसेन मनफिराव क जन्म देत ह जेहके बरे पछतावई क नाहीं पड़त अउ जउन मुक्ति देवॉवत ह। मुला उ दुख जउन संसारी होत ह, ओहसे तउ बस मउत जनम लेत ह।
10For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, [a repentance] which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
11देखा! इ दुख जउन परमेस्सर दिहे अहइ, उ तोहमें केतना उत्साह जगाइ दिहे बा। अपने भोलापन क केतॅना प्रतिरच्छा, केतना विरोध केतना आकुलता, हमसे मिलइ क केतनी बेचैनी, केतना साहस, पापी क बरे निआव चुकावइ क कइसेन भावना पैदा कइ दिहे बा। तू हर बाते मँ इ देखइ दिहे अहा कि एह बारे मँ तू केतना निर्दोस रह्या।
11For behold, this selfsame thing, that ye were made sorry after a godly sort, what earnest care it wrought in you, yea what clearing of yourselves, yea what indignation, yea what fear, yea what longing, yea what zeal, yea what avenging! In everything ye approved yourselves to be pure in the matter.
12तउ इ मइँ तोहे लिखे रहे तउ उ मनई क कारण नाहीं जउन अपराधी रहा अउ न तउ ओकरे कारण जेनके प्रति अपराध किहा गवा रहा। बल्कि एह बरे लिखा गवा रहा कि परमेस्सर क सामने हमरे कारण तोहरे चिन्ता क तोहका बोध होइ जाए।
12So although I wrote unto you, I [wrote] not for his cause that did the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered the wrong, but that your earnest care for us might be made manifest unto you in the sight of God.
13ऐसे हमका प्रोत्साहन मिला बा। हमरे इ प्रोत्साहन क अलावा तीतुस क आनन्द स हम अउर जियादा आनन्दित भए काहेकि तू सबके कारण ओनके आतिमा क चइन मिला बा।
13Therefore we have been comforted: And in our comfort we joyed the more exceedingly for the joy of Titus, because his spirit hath been refreshed by you all.
14तोहरे बरे मइँ ओनसे जउन बढ़ चढ़ क बात किहे रहे, ओकरे बरे मोका लजाइ क नाहीं पड़ा रहा। बल्कि हम जइसे तोहसे सबकछू सच सच कहे रहे वइसेन ही तोहरे बारे मँ हमार गरब तीतुस क सामने सच सिद्ध भवा अहइ।
14For if in anything I have gloried to him on your behalf, I was not put to shame; but as we spake all things to you in truth, so our glorying also which I made before Titus was found to be truth.
15जब इ याद करत हा कि तू सब कउनो तरह ओनकर आगिया माना ह अउर डर क मारे थर थर काँपत भए तू कइसे ओनका सुवागत किहा तउ तोहरे बरे ओनकर पिरेम अउ जियादा बढ़ जात ह।
15And his affection is more abundantly toward you, while he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.
16मइँ खुस अही कि मइँ तोहसे पूरा भरोसा रखी सकित ह।
16I rejoice that in everything I am of good courage concerning you.
