¹लगभग उहइ समइया ईसू सबित क दिन अनाजे क खेतन स होइके जात रहा। ओकरे चेलन क भूख लाग अउ गोहूँ क बाल तोड़ि क चबाइ लागेन।

¹At that season Jesus went on the sabbath day through the grainfields; and his disciples were hungry and began to pluck ears and to eat.

²फरीसियन अइसा होत देखिके कहेन, “देखा! तोहार चेलन उ करत अहइँ जेकर सबित क दिन करब मूसा क व्यवस्था क माफिक नाहीं।”

²But the Pharisees, when they saw it, said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which it is not lawful to do upon the sabbath.

³ऍह प ईसू ओनसे पूछेस, “का तू नाहीं पढ्या कि दाऊद अउर ओकर साथी, जब ओनका भूख लाग, का किहे रहेन?

³But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was hungry, and they that were with him;

⁴उ परमेस्सर क घरे मँ घुसिके ओनके बरे चढ़ाई गइ पवित्तर रोतिन क कइसे खाए रहेन? तउ भी ओका अउर ओनके साथी संगी क ओकर खाब मूसा क व्यवस्था क खिलाफ रहा। ओका सिरिफ याजकन ही खाइ सकत रहेन।

⁴how he entered into the house of God, and ate the showbread, which it was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them that were with him, but only for the priests?

⁵मूसा क व्यवस्था मँ तू इ नाहीं पढ़्या कि सबित कि दिन मंदिर क याजक ही असिल मँ सबित क दिन बिगार देत हीं अउर फिन ओनका कउनो कछू नाहीं कहत।

⁵Or have ye not read in the law, that on the sabbath day the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are guiltless?

⁶मुला मइँ तोसे कहत हउँ, हियाँ जउन कउनो बाटइ उ मंदिर ते बड़वार बाटइ।

⁶But I say unto you, that one greater than the temple is here.

⁷जदि तू पवित्तर सास्तर मँ जउन लिखा अहइ, ओका जानत ह, ‘मइँ मनइयन मँ दाया चाहत हउँ, पसुबलिदान नाहीं तउ तू ओनका दोखी नाहीं ? ठहरउत्या जउन निर्दोख अहइँ।

⁷But if ye had known what this meaneth, I desire mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

⁸हाँ, मनई क पूत सबित क दिन क भी सुआमी अहइ।”

⁸For the Son of man is lord of the sabbath.

⁹फिन उ हुवाँ स चला गवा अउर उनके आराधनालय मँ पहुँच गवा।

⁹And he departed thence, and went into their synagogue:

¹⁰हुवाँ एक ठु मनई रहा, जेकर हाथ सुखंडी रहा। तउ मनइयन ईसू स पूछेन, “मूसा क व्यवस्था क माफिक सबित क दिन का कउनो क नीक करब ठीक अहइ?” उ सबई एह बरे ओसे पूछेन कि, उ पचे ओह प दोख लगाइ सकइँ।

¹⁰and behold, a man having a withered hand. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day? that they might accuse him.

¹¹मुला उ ओनका जबाव दिहेस, “मान ल्या, तोहमाँ स कउनो क लगे एक ही भेड़ बाटइ, अउर उ भेड़ सबित क दिन कउनो गड़हा मँ गिरि जात ही, तउ तू का ओका बाहेर न निकरब्या?

¹¹And he said unto them, What man shall there be of you, that shall have one sheep, and if this fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?

¹²सच मनई तउ एक भेड़े स जिआदा बढ़के अहइ। यह बरे सबित क दिन मूसा क व्यवस्था भलाई करइ बरे अनुमति देत ह।”

¹²How much then is a man of more value than a sheep! Wherefore it is lawful to do good on the sabbath day.

¹³तब ईसू उ सुखंडी हाथवाला मनई स कहेस, “आपन हथवा आगे बढ़ावा।” उ पूरी तरह स चँगा होइ गवा। ठीक उहइ तरह जइसे ओकर दूसर हाथ रहा।

¹³Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, as the other.

¹⁴तब फरीसियन हुवाँ स चला गएन अउर ओका मार डावइ क तरकीब गूंथइ मथइ लागेन।

¹⁴But the Pharisees went out, and took counsel against him, how they might destroy him.

¹⁵ईसू इ जान गवा अउर हुवाँ स चला गवा। भारी भीड़ पाछे पाछे होइ गइ। उ ओनका चंगा करत

¹⁵And Jesus perceiving [it] withdrew from thence: and many followed him; and he healed them all,

¹⁶चिताउनी दिहस कि ओकरे बारे मँ मनइयन क कछू न बतावइँ।

¹⁶and charged them that they should not make him known:

¹⁷इ एह बरे भवा कि नबी यसायाह पर्भू क बारे मँ जउन कछू कहेस ह, उ पूरा होइ जाइ:

¹⁷that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying,

¹⁸“इ मोर सेवक अहइ, मइँ जेका चुनेउ हउँ। इ मोर पिआरा अहइ, ऍहसे मइँ आनंद मँ हउँ आपन आतिमा ऍह प मइँ रखियउँ सब देसन क सब मनइयन क इ निआव क एलान करी।

¹⁸Behold, my servant whom I have chosen; My beloved in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit upon him, And he shall declare judgment to the Gentiles.

¹⁹इ कबहुँ नाहीं चिचिआई, या झगड़ी ही मनइयन ऍका गली कूचा मँ न सुनिहइँ

¹⁹He shall not strive, nor cry aloud; Neither shall any one hear his voice in the streets.

²⁰उ सरते क न उ तोड़ीन इ बुझत दिया तलक उ न बुझाई डटा रही तब ताई जब ताईं निआव क जीत न होइ जाई।

²⁰A bruised reed shall he not break, And smoking flax shall he not quench, Till he send forth judgment unto victory.

²¹तब फिन सबइ लोग आपन आसा ओहमाँ बँधिहीं, फिन उहइ नाउँ मँ।” यसायाह 42:1-4

²¹And in his name shall the Gentiles hope.

²²फिन मनइयन ईसू क लगे एक अइसे अँधरे क लइ आएन जउन गूँगा भी रहा काहेकि ओहॅ प दुस्ट आतिमा क सवारी रही। ईसू ओका चंागा किहेस अउर एह बरे इ गूँगा अउर आँधर बोलइ अउर देखइ लाग।

²²Then was brought unto him one possessed with a demon, blind and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the dumb man spake and saw.

²³ऍह प सबइ मनइयन अचरजे मँ पड़ि गएन अउर उ सबइ कहइ लागेन, “का इ मनई दाऊद क पूत होइ सकत ह”

²³And all the multitudes were amazed, and said, Can this be the son of David?

²⁴जबहिं फरीसियन इ सुनेन तउ उ पचे कहेन, “इ दुस्ट आतिमन क ओनके सरदार बेल्जाबुल क सहारा स बाहरे निकारत ह।”

²⁴But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This man doth not cast out demons, but by Beelzebub the prince of the demons.

²⁵ईसू ओनके मनवा क बात जानि गवा अउर ओनसे कहेस, “हर राज्य जेहमाँ फूट परि जात ह, ओकर नास होइ जात ह। वइसे ही हर सहर या परिवार जेहमाँ फूट परि जात ह उ टिकइ नाहीं पावत।

²⁵And knowing their thoughts he said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

²⁶तउ सइतान ही खुद आपन क बाहेर कइसे निकारी फिन तउ ओहमाँ आपन खिलाफ फूट पड़ि जाई। तउ ओकर राज्य कइसे बना रहि पाई।

²⁶and if Satan casteth out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then shall his kingdom stand?

²⁷अगर इ सच अहइ कि मइँ बेल्जाबुल क सहारा स दुस्ट आतिमन क खदेरत हउँ तउ तोहार मनवइया कउने सहारा स ओनका बाहेर खदेरत हीं? तउ तोहार आपन मनवइया ही सिद्ध करिहीं कि तू गलत अहा।

²⁷And if I by Beelzebub cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.

²⁸मइँ दुस्ट आतिमन क परमेस्सर क आतिमा क सक्ती स निकारत हउँ। ऍहसे इ सिद्ध होत ह कि परमेस्सर क राज्य तोहरे निअरे आइ ग अहइ।

²⁸But if I by the Spirit of God cast out demons, then is the kingdom of God come upon you.

²⁹“फिन कउन कउनो जबरा क घरवा मँ घुसिके ओकर माल कइसे चोरॉइ सकत ह, जब तलक उ जबरा क पहिले बाँध न देइ। तबहिं उ ओकरे घरवा क लूटि सकत ह।

²⁹Or how can one enter into the house of the strong [man,] and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong [man]? and then he will spoil his house.

³⁰“जउन मोर संग नाहीं उ हमरे खिलाफ बाटइ। अउर जउन अलगाइ भई भेड़न क बटोरइ मँ मोर मदद नाहीं करत, उ ओनका अलगावत ह।

³⁰He that is not with me is against me, and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.

³¹एह बरे मइँ तोहसे कहत हउँ कि सब मनइयन क किस्म किस्म क निन्दा अउर पापन्क छमा कइ दीन्ह जाइ मुला पवित्तर आतिमा क निन्दा क छमा किन्ह न जाई।

³¹Therefore I say unto you, Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men; but the blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.

³²कउनउ मनई क पूत क खिलाफ जदि कछू कहत ह तउ ओका छमा कीन्ह जाइ सकत ह, मुला पवित्तर आतिमा क खिलाफ कउनो कछू कहइ तउ ओका छमा न कीन्ह जाई। न तउ इ युग मँ अउर न आवइवाला युगे माँ।

³²And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him; but whosoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in that which is to come.

³³“तू लोग जानत ह कि बढ़िया फरे बरे तोहका बढ़िया बृच्छ रोपइ चाही। मुला बृच्छ बुरा अहइ तउ बुरा फर देइ। काहेकि बृच्छ आपन फरे स जाना जात ह।

³³Either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by its fruit.

³⁴अरे हे कीरा क बचवन! जब तू खुदइ बुरा अहा तउ नीक बातन कइसे कहि सकत ह मनई क सब्द जउन ओकरे मनवा मँ भरा अहइ, उहइ स निकरत ही।

³⁴Ye offspring of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

³⁵एक नीक मनई मनवा क नीक भंडारे स नीक बातन निकारत ह अउर बुरा मनई बुरी बातन क निकारत ह जउन मनवा क भंडारे मँ एकट्ठा रहत हीं।

³⁵The good man out of his good treasure bringeth forth good things: and the evil man out of his evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

³⁶अउ मइँ तू सब जने के बतावन हउँ कि निआव क दिन हर मनई क लापरवाही स बोली गइ बातन क हिसाब देइ क होई।

³⁶And I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

³⁷तोहरे बातन क ऊपर तोहका निर्दोख अउर दोखी ठहराइ जाई।”

³⁷For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

³⁸फिन कछू धरम सास्तिरियन अउर फरीसियन ओसे कहेन, “गुरु, हम पचे तोसे अद्भुत चीन्हा परगट करइ चाहित ह।”

³⁸Then certain of the scribes and Pharisees answered him, saying, Teacher, we would see a sign from thee.

³⁹ईसू ओनसे जवाबे मँ कहेस, “इ जुग क बुरा अउर दुराचारी पीढ़ी क मनई अद्भुत चीन्हा देखा चाहत हीं। नबी योना क अद्भुत चीन्हा तजिके ओनका अउर कउनो अद्भुत चीन्हा न दीन्ह जाई।

³⁹But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given it but the sign of Jonah the prophet:

⁴⁰अउ जइसे योना तीन दिना अउर तीन रात उ समुद्री जीव क पेटवा मँ रहा, वइसे ही मनई क पूत तीन दिन अउर तीन रात धरती प रही।

⁴⁰for as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

⁴¹निआव क दिन निनेवा क रहइवाले आज क पीढ़ी क मनई क संग खड़ा होइहीं अउर दोखी ठहरइहीं। काहेकि निनेवा क मनई योना क उपदेस स मनफिराव करे रहेन अउर हियाँ तउ कउनो योना स बड़वार हाजिर अहइँ।

⁴¹The men of Nineveh shall stand up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, a greater than Jonah is here.

⁴²निआव क दिन दक्खिन क रानी इ पीढ़ी क मनइयन क संग खड़ी होई अउर ओनका दोखी ठहराई, काहेकि उ धरती क दूसर छोर स सुलैमान क उपदेस सुनइ बरे आइ रही अउर हियाँ तउ कउनउ सुलैमान स भी बड़वार हाजिर अहइ।

⁴²The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

⁴³“जब कउनउ दुस्ट आतिमा कउनो मनई क छोड़ देत ह तउ उ आराम खोजइ बरे झुरान धरती प ढूँढ़त फिरत ह, मुला उ ओका मिल नाहीं पावत।

⁴³But the unclean spirit, when he is gone out of the man, passeth through waterless places, seeking rest, and findeth it not.

⁴⁴तब उ कहत ह, ‘जउन घरे क मइँ छोड़ दिहेउँ, मइँ फिन उहइँ लौटि हउँ।’ तउ उ लौटत ह अउर ओका अब ताईं खाली अउ साफ स्थर अउर सजा भवा पावत ह।

⁴⁴Then he saith, I will return into my house whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

⁴⁵फिन उ लौटत ह अउ आपन संग सात अउ दुस्ट आतिमन क लइ आवत ह जउन ओसे भी बुरी होत हीं। फिन उ सबइ आइके हुवाँ रहइ लागत हीं। अउर उ मनई क हालत पहिले स जिआदा खौफनाक होत ह। आज क इ खराब पीढ़ी क मनइयन क दसा अइसी बाटइ।”

⁴⁵Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man becometh worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this evil generation.

⁴⁶ईसू अबहिं भिड़िया क मनइयन स बातन कर रहा कि ओकर महतारी अउर भाइयन हुवाँ अइके बाहेर खड़ा होइ गएन। उ पचे ईसू स बात करइ बरे इंतजार करत रहेन।

⁴⁶While he was yet speaking to the multitudes, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, seeking to speak to him.

⁴⁷कउनो ईसू स कहेस, “सुना तोहार महतारी अउर तोहार भाइयन खड़ा बाटेन अउर तोसे बात करइ चाहत हीं।”

⁴⁷And one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, seeking to speak to thee.

⁴⁸जवाबे मँ ईसू बात करइवालन स कहेस, “कउन अहइ मोर महतारी, अउ कउन अहइ मोर भाइयन?”

⁴⁸But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?

⁴⁹फिन आपन हथवा स चेलन कइँती सनकावत कहेस, “इ अहइँ मोर महतारी अउर मोर भाइयन।

⁴⁹And he stretched forth his hand towards his disciples, and said, Behold, my mother and my brethren!

⁵⁰हाँ सरगे मँ रहवइया मोरे परमपिता क इच्छा प जउन कउनो चलत ह, उहइ मोर भाई, बहिन अउर महतारी अहइ।”

⁵⁰For whosoever shall do the will of my Father who is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother.
