¹ऍकरे बाद अइसा भवा कि ईसू परमेस्सर क राज्य क सुसमाचार मनइयन क सुनावत भवा सहर-सहर अउर गाउँ गाउँ घूमइ लाग। ओकर बारहु प्रेरितन भी ओकरे संग होत रहेन।

¹And it came to pass afterwards that *he* went through [the country] city by city, and village by village, preaching and announcing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God; and the twelve [were] with him,

²ओकरे संग कछू स्त्रियन भी होत रहीं जेनका उ बेरामी अउर दुस्ट आतिमन स छुटकारा दियावत रहा। एनमाँ मरियम मगदलीनी नाउँ क एक स्त्री रही जेका सात दुस्ट आतिमन स छुटकारा मिला रहा।

²and certain women who had been healed of wicked spirits and infirmities, Mary who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,

³हेरोदेस क संरकाम अफसर खोजा क पत्नी योअन्ना भी एनहीं मँ रहिन। साथ ही सूसन्नाह अउर ढेर क स्त्रियन भी रहिन। इ स्त्रियन आपन जतन स ईसू अउर ओकरे प्रेरितन क सेवा क संरजाम करत रहिन।

³and Joanna, wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, who ministered to him of their substance.

⁴जब सहर-सहर स आइके मनइयन क बड़ी भीड़ ऍकट्ठा होत रही, तउ उ ओनसे एक दिस्टान्त कथा कहेस,

⁴And a great crowd coming together, and those who were coming to him out of each city, he spoke by parable:

⁵“एक किसान आपन बिआ बोवइ निकरा। जब उ बिआ बोएस कछू बिआ राह क किनारे जाइके गिरेन अउर गोड़े तरे रौंद गएन। अउर चिड़ियाँ ओनका चुग लिहेन।

⁵The sower went out to sow his seed; and as he sowed, some fell along the way, and it was trodden under foot, and the birds of the heaven devoured it up;

⁶कछू बिआ पथरही धरती प गिरेन, उ सबइ जब उगेन तउ ओद न होइ स मुरझाइ गएन।

⁶and other fell upon the rock, and having sprung up, it was dried up because it had not moisture;

⁷कछू बिआ कँटेहरी झाड़िन मँ गिरेन। काँटन क बाढ़इ क संग संग उ भी बाढ़ेन अउर कँटवन ओनका दबोच लिहन।

⁷and other fell in the midst of the thorns, and the thorns having sprung up with [it] choked it;

⁸अउर कछू बिआ धरती प गिरेन। उ उगेन अउर उ सबइ सउ गुना फसल दिहेन।” इ बातन क बतावत भवा उ पुकारिके कहेस, “जेकरे लगे कान अहइँ, उ सबइ सुनि लेइँ।”

⁸and other fell into the good ground, and having sprung up bore fruit a hundredfold. As he said these things he cried, He that has ears to hear, let him hear.

⁹ओकर चेलन ओसे पूछेन, “इ दिस्टान्त कथा क अरथ का अहइ?”

⁹And his disciples asked him [saying], What may this parable be?

¹⁰तउ उ बताएस, “परमेस्सर क राज्य क भेद जानइ क सुविधा तोहका दीन्ह गइ अहइ मुला दूसर क इ भेज दिस्टान्त कथा स दीन्ह ग अहइँ जेहसे: ‘उ पचे देखत भी न देख पावइँ अउर सुनते हुए भी न समुझ पावइँ।’ यसायाह 6:9

¹⁰And he said, To you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest in parables, in order that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

¹¹“इ दिस्टान्त कथा क अरथ इ अहइ: बिआ परमेस्सर क उपदेस अहइ।

¹¹But the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

¹²उ बिआ जउन राह क किनारे गिरा रहेन, उ मनइयन उपदेस जउन अब उपदेस सुनत हीं, सइतान आवत ह अउर उपदेस क ओनके मने स निकार लइ जात ह जेहसे उ सबइ पतिआय न पावइँ अउर ओनकइ उद्धार न होइ सकइ।

¹²But those by the wayside are those who hear; then comes the devil and takes away the word from their heart that they may not believe and be saved.

¹³उ बिआ जउन पथरही भुइयाँ प गिरा रहेन ओनकइ अरथ अहइ ओन मनइयन स जउन उपदेस सुनत हीं तउ ओका खुसी स तउ अपनावत हीं। मुला बिआ ओनके भितरे जम नाहीं पावत उ सबइ कछू समइ बरे बिसवास करत हीं मुला परीच्छा क घड़ी मँ डुग जात हीं।

¹³But those upon the rock, those who when they hear receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a time, and in time of trial fall away.

¹⁴अउर जउन बिआ काँटन मँ गिरेन ओकर अरथ अहइ, ओन मनइयन स जउन उपदेस सुनत हीं, मुला जब उ पचे आपन राहे प चलइ लागत हीं। तउ फिकिर, धन दौलत अउर जिन्नगी क भोग बिलास ओका दहबोचि लेत हीं, जेहसे ओन प कबहुँ फसल पाकत नाहीं।

¹⁴But that that fell where the thorns were, these are they who having heard go away and are choked under cares and riches and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

¹⁵अउर बढ़िया भुइयाँ प गिरा भवा बिआ क अरथ अहइ ओन मनइयन स जउन अच्छा अउर सच्चा मन स जब उपदेस क सुनत हीं तउ ओका धारण भी करत हीं। फिन आपन धीरज क संग उ पचे उत्तिम फल देत हीं।

¹⁵But that in the good ground, these are they who in an honest and good heart, having heard the word keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

¹⁶“कउनो दीया ढकना स ढाकइ बरे नाही जलावत। या ओका बिछउना तरे नाहीं धरत। मुला उ ओका डीबट प धरत ह काहेकि जउन भीतर आवइँ, रोसनी देखि सकइँ।

¹⁶And no one having lighted a lamp covers it with a vessel or puts it under a couch, but sets it on a lamp-stand, that they who enter in may see the light.

¹⁷काहेकि कछू भी अइसा छुपा नाहीं अहइ जउन उजागर न होई अउर कछू भी अइसा छुपा नाहीं बा जउन जाना न जाई अउर परगट न होई।

¹⁷For there is nothing hid which shall not become manifest, nor secret which shall not be known and come to light.

¹⁸एह बरे धियान स सुना काहेकि जेकरे लगे बा ओका भी दीन्ह जाई अउर जेकरे लगे नाहीं अहइ, ओसे भी ओकरे नगिचे देखात ह, उ भी लइ लीन्ह जाई।”

¹⁸Take heed therefore how ye hear; for whosoever has, to him shall be given, and whosoever has not, even what he seems to have shall be taken from him.

¹⁹तबहीं ईसू क महतारी अउर ओकर भाइयन ओकरे लगे आएन मुला उ पचे भीड़ क कारण ओकरे नगिचे नाहीं जाइ सकेन।

¹⁹And his mother and his brethren came to him, and could not get to him because of the crowd.

²⁰यह बरे ईसू स इ कहा गवा, “तोहार महतारी अउर तोहार भाइयन बाहेर खड़ा अहइँ। उ पचे तोसे भेंटइ चाहत हीं।”

²⁰And it was told him [saying], Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, wishing to see thee.

²¹मुला ईसू ओनका जवाब दिहस, “मोर महतारी अउर मोर भाइयन तउ इ सबइ अहइँ जउन परमेस्सर क उपदेस सुनत हीं अउर ओह प चलत हीं।”

²¹But he answering said to them, My mother and my brethren are those who hear the word of God and do [it].

²²तब्बइ एक दिन अइसा भवा कि उ आपन चेलन क संग एक नाउ प चढ़ा अउर ओनसे “आवा, झिलिया क उ पार चली।” तउ उ पचे पाल खोलि दिहन।

²²And it came to pass on one of the days, that *he* entered into a ship, himself and his disciples; and he said to them, Let us pass over to the other side of the lake; and they set off from shore.

²³उ पचे नाउँ खेवत रहेन, ईसू सोइ गवा। झिलिया प आन्धी अउर तूफान उतर आवा। ओनके नाउ मँ पानी भरइ लाग। उ पचे खतरा मँ रहेन।

²³And as they sailed, he fell asleep; and a sudden squall of wind came down on the lake, and they were filled [with water], and were in danger;

²⁴ऍहसे उ सबइ ओकरे लगे आएन अउर ओका जगाइके कहइ लागेन, “स्वामी! स्वामी! हम बूड़त अही!” फिन उ खड़ा भवा अउर उ आन्धी, अउर लहरन क फटकारेस। उ सबइ थम गइन अउर हुवाँ सान्ति होइ गइ।

²⁴and coming to [him] they woke him up, saying, Master, master, we perish. But he, rising up, rebuked the wind and the raging of the water; and they ceased, and there was a calm.

²⁵फिन उ ओनसे पूछेन, “तोहार बिसवास कहाँ गवा?” मुला उ पचे डेरान रहेन अउर अचरज मँ पड़ा रहेन। उ पचे आपुस मँ एक दूसरे स कहेन, “आखिर इ अहइ कउन जउन हवा अउर पानी दुइनउँ क हुकुम देत ह अउर उ सबइ ओका मानत हीं!”

²⁵And he said to them, Where is your faith? And, being afraid, they were astonished, saying to one another, Who then is this, that he commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him?

²⁶फिन उ पचे गिरासेनियन लोगन क पहँटा मँ पहुँचेन जउन गलील झीले क समन्वा रहा।

²⁶And they arrived in the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee.

²⁷जइसेन ही उ किनारे प उतरा, सहर क एक मनई ओका मिला। ओहमा दुस्ट आतिमन क सवारी रहिन। बहोत दिना स उ न तउ ओढ़ना पहिरत रहा, न ही उ घरे मँ रहत रहा, मुला उ मकबरे मँ रहत रहा।

²⁷And as he got out [of the ship] on the land, a certain man out of the city met him, who had demons a long time, and put on no clothes, and did not abide in a house, but in the tombs.

²⁸उ जब ईसू क लखेस तउ चिचियात भवा ओकरे समन्वा गिरिके ऊँची अवाज मँ बोला, “हे सर्वोच्च परमेस्सर क पूत ईसू तू मोसे का चाहत ह मइँ बिनती करत हउँ मोका पीरा जिन द्या।”

²⁸But seeing Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus Son of the Most High God? I beseech thee torment me not.

²⁹उ उ दुस्ट आतिमा क उ मनई मँ स बाहेर निकरइ क हुकुम दिहेस, काहेकि उ दुस्ट आतिमा उ मनई क बहोत दाई पकड़े रही। अइसेन अवसरन प ओका हथकड़ी बेड़ी स बाँधि के पहरुअन क बीच राखि जात रहा। मुला उ हमेसा जंजीरे क तोरि डावत अउर दुस्ट आतिमा ओका वीरान जगहन मँ भगावत रहत!”

²⁹For he had commanded the unclean spirit to go out from the man. For very often it had seized him; and he had been bound, kept with chains and fetters; and breaking the bonds he was driven by the demon into the deserts.

³⁰तउ ईसू ओसे पूछेस, “तोहार नाउँ का अहइ?” उ कहेस, “सेना।” (काहेकि बहोत स दुस्ट आतिमन ओहमा समाई रहिन।)

³⁰And Jesus asked him saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: for many demons had entered into him.

³¹उ सबइ ईसू स बहस मोबहसा क संग बिनती करत रहेन कि ओनका गहिर गड़हा मँ जाइके हुकुम न देइँ।

³¹And they besought him that he would not command them to go away into the bottomless pit.

³²अब देखा, तबहिं हुआँ पहाड़ी प सुअरन क झुण्ड चरत रहा। दुस्ट आतिमन ओसे बिनती किहेन कि उ ओनका सुअरिअन मँ जाइ देइँ। तउ उ ओनका जाइके हुकुम दिहेस।

³²And there was there a herd of many swine feeding on the mountain, and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into those; and he suffered them.

³³ऍह प उ सबइ दुस्ट आतिमन उ मनई मँ स बाहेर निकरीं अउर ओन सुअरिअन मँ घुस गइन। अउर सुअरिअन क झुण्ड तरखाले उ ढालू तट स लुढ़कत पुढ़कत अउर दउड़त भवा झीले मँ जाइके गिरि गवा अउर बूड़ गवा।

³³And the demons, going out from the man, entered into the swine, and the herd rushed down the precipice into the lake, and were choked.

³⁴सुअरिअन क झुण्ड क बहोरिया, जउन कछू भवा रहा, ओका निहारिके हुवाँ स परानेन। अउर ऍकर खबर उ पचे सहर अउर दिहात मँ सुनाएन।

³⁴But they that fed [them], seeing what had happened, fled, and told [it] to the city and to the country.

³⁵फिन हुवाँ क मनइयन जउन कछू घटा रहा ओका लखइ बाहेर आएन। उ सबइ ईसू स भेंटेन। अउर उ पचे उ मनई क जेहमाँ स दुस्ट आतिमन निकरी रहिन, ईसू क गोड़वा प बइठा पाएन। उ मनई ओढ़ना पहिरे रहा अउर ओकर दिमाग एकदम सही रहा। ऍहसे उ सबहिं डेराइ गएन।

³⁵And they went out to see what had happened, and came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting, clothed and sensible, at the feet of Jesus. And they were afraid.

³⁶जउन निहारेन, उ पचे बताएन दुस्ट आतिमन क सवारीवाला मनई कइसे नीक भवा।

³⁶And they also who had seen it told them how the possessed man had been healed.

³⁷गिरासेन पहँटा के सबहीं वसइया ओसे बिनती किहेन कि उ हुवाँ स चला जाइ काहेकि सबहिं बहोत डेरान रहेन। तउ ईसू नाउ मँ आवा अउर लौटि गवा।

³⁷And all the multitude of the surrounding country of the Gadarenes asked him to depart from them, for they were possessed with great fear; and *he*, entering into the ship, returned.

³⁸मुला जउने मनई स दुस्ट आतिमन निकरी रहिन, उ ईसू स आपन क संग लइ जाइके बिनती करत रहा। ऍह पइ ईसू ओका इ कहत भवा लौटाइ दिहस,

³⁸But the man out of whom the demons had gone besought him that he might be with him. But he sent him away, saying,

³⁹“घर जा अउर जउन कछू परमेस्सर तोहरे बरे किहे अहइ ओका बतावा।” तउ उ लौटिके ईसू ओकरे बरे जउन कछू किहस ह, ओका सारे नगर मँ कहत फिरा।

³⁹Return to thine house and relate how great things God has done for thee. And he went away through the whole city, publishing how great things Jesus had done for him.

⁴⁰अब लखा जब ईसू लौटा तउ मनइयन क भीड़ ओकर अगवानी किहेस, काहेकि उ सबइ ओका जोहत रहेन।

⁴⁰And it came to pass when Jesus returned, the crowd received him gladly, for they were all expecting him.

⁴¹तबहीं याईर नाउँ क एक मनई हुवाँ आइ। उ हुवाँ क आराधनालय क मुखिया रहा। उ ईसू क गोड़वा मँ गिरि गवा अउर ओसे आपन घरे जाइके बिनती करइ लाग।

⁴¹And behold, a man came, whose name was Jairus, and he was [a] ruler of the synagogue, and falling at the feet of Jesus besought him to come to his house,

⁴²काहेकि ओकर बारह बरिस क एक इकलौती बिटिया रही, उ मरइ क रही। तउ ईसू जब जात रहा तउ भीड़ ओका कुचरि देत रही।

⁴²because he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, and she was dying. And as he went the crowds thronged him.

⁴³हुवाँ एक स्त्री रही जेकर बारह बरिस स खून बहत रहा। जउन कछू ओकरे लगे रहा, उ बैद्य (डाक्टर) पर खरिच कइ दिहस, मुला उ कउनो स नीक नाहीं होइ पाइ।

⁴³And a woman who had a flux of blood since twelve years, who, having spent all her living on physicians, could not be cured by any one,

⁴⁴उ ओकरे पाछे आइ अउर ओकरे चोंगा क मोहरी छुएस अउर तुरंतहि ओकर लहू बहब रुकि गवा।

⁴⁴coming up behind, touched the hem of his garment, and immediately her flux of blood stopped.

⁴⁵तब ईसू पूछेस, “उ कउन अहइ जउन मोका छुएस ह” जब सबहिं मुकरइ लागेन कि उ पचे ईसू क नाहीं छुएन तउ पतरस कहेस, “स्वामी तोहका भिड़िया घेरे अहइ अउर तोहका दबावति अहइ।”

⁴⁵And Jesus said, Who has touched me? But all denying, Peter and those with him said, Master, the crowds close thee in and press upon thee, and sayest thou, Who has touched me?

⁴⁶मुला ईसू कहेस, “कउनो मोका छुएस ह काहेकि मोका लागत अहइ कि मोसे सक्ती निकरी गइ होइ।”

⁴⁶And Jesus said, Some one has touched me, for *I* have known that power has gone out from me.

⁴⁷जब उ स्त्री देखेस कि मइँ छुप नाहीं सकित तउ उ काँपत काँपत आइ अउर ईसू क समन्वा गिरि गइ। हुवाँ सबहीं मनइयन क समन्वा उ बताएस कि मइँ तोहका कउने कारण स छुए हउँ अउर कइसे फउरन नीक होइ गइ।

⁴⁷And the woman, seeing that she was not hid, came trembling, and falling down before him declared before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was immediately healed.

⁴⁸ऍह प ईसू ओसे कहेस, “बिटिया तोहरे पतियाये स तोहार उद्धार भवा ह। चइन स जा।”

⁴⁸And he said to her, [Be of good courage,] daughter; thy faith has healed thee; go in peace.

⁴⁹उ अबहीं बोलत रहा कि आराधनालय क मुखिया क घरे स कउनो आवा अउर बोला, “तोहार बिटिया मरि गइ अहइ। तउ गुरु क अब अउर कस्ट जिन द्या।”

⁴⁹While he was yet speaking, comes some one from the ruler of the synagogue, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; do not trouble the teacher.

⁵⁰ईसू इ सुनि लिहस। तउ उ ओसे बोला, “डेराअ जिन! बिसवास राखा। उ बचि जाई।”

⁵⁰But Jesus, hearing it, answered him saying, Fear not: only believe, and she shall be made well.

⁵¹जब ईसू उ घरे मँ आवा उ आपन संगे पतरस, यूहन्ना, याकूब अउर बिटिया क महतारी बाप क तजिके कउनो अउर क आपन संग भितरे नाहीं लइ गवा।

⁵¹And when he came to the house he suffered no one to go in but Peter and John and James and the father of the child and the mother.

⁵²सबहीं मनइयन उ लरकी बरे रोवत रहेन अउर बिलाप करत रहेन। ईसू कहेस, “रोउब बंद कइ द्या। इ मरी नाहीं बा, मुला सोवति अहइ।”

⁵²And all were weeping and lamenting her. But he said, Do not weep, for she has not died, but sleeps.

⁵³ऍह पइ मनइयन ओकर हँसी उड़ाएन। काहेकि उ जानत रहेन कि लरकी मरि चुकी बा।

⁵³And they derided him, knowing that she had died.

⁵⁴मुला ईसू ओकर हथवा पकड़ेस अउर चिल्लाइके कहेस, “बच्ची, खड़ी होइ जा!”

⁵⁴But *he*, having turned them all out and taking hold of her hand, cried saying, Child, arise.

⁵⁵ओकर आतिमा लौटि आइ, अउर उ फउरन उठि गइ। ईसू हुकुम दिहेस, “ऍका कछू खइया क दीन्ह जाइ।”

⁵⁵And her spirit returned, and immediately she rose up; and he commanded [something] to eat to be given to her.

⁵⁶ऍह पइ लरकी क महतारी बाप क बहोत अचरज भवा मुला ईसू ओनका हुकुम दिहेस कि जउन भवा अहइ, ओका उ पचे कउनो क न बतावइँ।

⁵⁶And her parents were amazed; but he enjoined them to tell no one what had happened.
