1जब मूर्तियन पर चढ़ाइ गइ बलि क बारे मँ: हम इ जानित ह, “हम सबहिं गियानी अही।” “गियान” लोगन क अहंकार स भरि देत ह। मुला पिरेम स मनई अधिक सक्तिसाली बनत ह।
1Now concerning things sacrificed to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.
2अगर केऊँ सोचइ कि उ कछू जानत ह तउ जेका जानइ चाही ओकरे बारे मँ तउ ऊ अबहुँ कछू जनबइ नाहीं करत।
2But if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he doesn’t yet know as he ought to know.
3अगर केउ परमेस्सर क पिरेम करत ह त उ परमेस्सर क जरिये जाना जात ह।
3But if anyone loves God, the same is known by him.
4तउन मूरर्तियन पर चढ़ावा गवा भोजन क बारे मँ हम जानत अही कि एह संसारे मँ मूरति का अस्तित्व नाहीं बा। अउर इ कि “परमेस्सर केवल एक्कइ अहइ।”
4Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is anything in the world, and that there is no other God but one.
5अउर धरती या आकास मँ जद्यपि अइसेन ही देवता बहुत स अहइँ (बहुत स “देवता” हयेन, बहत स “पर्भू” हयेन।)
5For though there are things that are called “gods,” whether in the heavens or on earth; as there are many “gods” and many “lords”;
6मुला हमरे बरे तउ एक्कइ परमेस्सर बा, हमार पिता। उही स सब कछू आवत ही अहइ। अउर ऊही क बरे हम जिअत अही। पर्भू केवल एक अही, ईसू मसीह। उही क द्वारा सब चीजन क आस्तित्व बा अउर ऊही क जरिये हमार जीवन बा।
6yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we live through him.
7मुला इ गियान सब कीहीउ क लगे नाहीं अहइ। कछू लोग जउन अब तलक मूर्ति पूजा क आदी अहइँ, अइसेन चीजन खात हीं अउर सोचत हीं जइसेन माना उ चीज मूर्ति क प्रसाद अहइ। ओनके इ करमे स ओनकर आतिमा कमजोर होइ क कारण दूसित होइ जात ह।
7However, that knowledge isn’t in all men. But some, with consciousness of the idol until now, eat as of a thing sacrificed to an idol, and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.
8मुला उ प्रसाद तउ हमका परमेस्सर क लगे न लइ जाइ। अगर हम ओका नहीं खाइ तउ कछू घटी नाहीं जात अउर अगर खाई तउ कछू बढ़ नाहीं जात।
8But food will not commend us to God. For neither, if we don’t eat, are we the worse; nor, if we eat, are we the better.
9सावधान रहा। कहूँ तोहर इ अधिकार ओकरे बरे, जउन कमजोर बाटेन, पाप मँ गिरइ क कारण न बन जाइ।
9But be careful that by no means does this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to the weak.
10काहेकि कमजोर बिसवास क कउनउ मनई अगर तोहे जइसेन इ बिसय क जानकार क मूर्तिवाला मंदिर मँ खात भआ देखत ह तउ ओकर दुर्बल मन का ओह हद तलक न भटकि जाई कि उ मूर्ति पर बलि चढ़ाइ गइ चीजन क खाइ लागेन।
10For if a man sees you who have knowledge sitting in an idol’s temple, won’t his conscience, if he is weak, be emboldened to eat things sacrificed to idols?
11तोहरे गियान स, कमजोर मने क मनई क तउ नास ही होइ जाइ तोहरे उहीं बन्धु क, जेकरे बरे मसीह तउ जान दइ दिहेस।
11And through your knowledge, he who is weak perishes, the brother for whose sake Christ died.
12इही तरह अपने भाइयन अउर बहिनियन क विरुद्ध पाप करत भए अउर ओनके कमजोर मने क चोट पहुॅचावत भए तू लोग मसीह क विरुद्ध पाप करत अहा।
12Thus, sinning against the brothers, and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
13ऍह बरे अगर भोजन मोरे भाई क पाप क राह पर बढ़ावत ह तउ मइँ फिन कभउँ माँस न खाबइ ताकि मइँ अपने भाई क बरे, पाप करइ क कारण न बनउँ।
13Therefore if food causes my brother to stumble, I will eat no meat forevermore, that I don’t cause my brother to stumble.
