¹मोर पिआरे बच्चो, इ सब बात मइँ इ बरे लिखत अहउँ जइसे तू पचे पाप न करा। मुला जउ कउनो मनई पाप करत ह तउ परमेस्सर क सामने हमरे पाप क बचाव करइवाला एक अहइ अउर उ बाटइ न्यायी ईसू।

¹My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. If anyone sins, we have a Counselor Greek Parakleton: Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, and Comforter. with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous.

²उ एक बलिदान बाटइ जउन हमरे पापन क हर लेत ह, उ केवल हमरे पापन क नाहीं हरत उ तउ समूची दुनिया क पाप हर लेत ह।

²And he is the atoning sacrifice “atoning sacrifice” is from the Greek “hilasmos,” an appeasing, propitiating, or the means of appeasement or propitiation—the sacrifice that turns away God’s wrath because of our sin. for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.

³जदि हम परमेस्सर क हुकुम क पालन करित ह तउ इ उहइ रास्ता अहइ जउने स हम निस्चय करित ह कि हम सचमुच ओका जान लिहे अही।

³This is how we know that we know him: if we keep his commandments.

⁴जदि कउनो कहत ह, “मइँ परमेस्सर क जानित हउँ!” अउर ओकर हुकुमन क पालन नाहीं करत तउ उ झूठा अहइ। ओकरे मन मँ सच्चाई नाहीं अहइ।

⁴One who says, “I know him,” and doesn’t keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth isn’t in him.

⁵मुला जउ कउनो मनई परमेस्सर क उपदेस क पालन करत ह तउ ओहमाँ परमेस्सर क पिरेम आपन पूर्णता क पावत ह इहइ उ रास्ता अहइ जउने स इ निस्चय होत ह कि हम परमेस्सर मँ अही,

⁵But whoever keeps his word, God’s love has most certainly been perfected in him. This is how we know that we are in him:

⁶जउन इ कहत ह कि उ परमेस्सर मँ बाटइ, ओका अइसा चलइ चाही जइसन ईसू चलत रहा।

⁶he who says he remains in him ought himself also to walk just like he walked.

⁷पिआरे बन्धुअन, मइँ तोहका कउनो नई हुकुमन नाहीं लिखत अहउँ, इ तउ एक सनातनी हुकुम अहइ, जउन तोहका सुरूआतइ मँ दइ दीन्ह गइ रही। इ पुरानी हुकुम उ उपदेस अहइ जेका तू सुन चुका अहा।

⁷Brothers, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning.

⁸मइँ तोहका अउर दुसर नया हुकुम लिखत अहउँ। इ बात की सच्चाई ईसू क जीवन मँ अउर तोहरे जिन्दगी मँ उजागर भइ अहइ, काहेकि अँधियारा खतम होत अहइ अउर ज्योति चमकत अहइ।

⁸Again, I write a new commandment to you, which is true in him and in you; because the darkness is passing away, and the true light already shines.

⁹जउन मनई कहत ह, “उ ज्योति मँ स्थित अहउँ।” अउर तबहूँ अपने भाई स नफरत करत ह, तउ उ अबहिं भी उ अंधेर मँ बना अहइ।

⁹He who says he is in the light and hates his brother, is in the darkness even until now.

¹⁰जउन अपने भाई स पिरेम करत ह, ज्योति मँ बना रहत ह। ओकरे जिन्दगी मँ अइसी कउनो चीज नाहीं अहइ, जउने स उ ठोकर खाइ।

¹⁰He who loves his brother remains in the light, and there is no occasion for stumbling in him.

¹¹मुला जउन मनई अपने भाई स नफरत करत ह, उ अंधेरे मँ अहइ। उ अंधेरे स भरा जीवन जिअत अहइ। ओका पता नाहीं अहइ कि उ कहाँ जात अहइ, काहेकि अंधेरा ओका आंधर बनाइ दिहे अहइ।

¹¹But he who hates his brother is in the darkness, and walks in the darkness, and doesn’t know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

¹²पिआरे बच्चो, मइँ तोहका इ बरे लिखत अहउँ, काहेकि ईसू मसीह क कारण तोहरे पापन क छमा कइ दीन्ह गवा अहइ।

¹²I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.

¹³पिताओ, मइँ तोहका इ बरे लिखत अहउँ, काहेकि तू पचे, जउन अनादि काल स बना अहइ, ओका जानत ह्या। जवानो! मइँ तोहका इ बरे लिखत अहउँ, काहेकि तू उ दुस्ट (सइतान) प जीत हासिल कइ लिह्या ह।

¹³I write to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, little children, because you know the Father.

¹⁴बच्चो, मइँ तोहका इ बरे लिखत अहउँ, काहेकि तू अपने बाप क पहचान लिहे अहा। ओह बाप लोगो, मइँ तोहका इ बरे लिखत अहउँ, काहेकि तू जउन कि संसार क सुरुआतइ स बना अहा, ओका जान लिहे अहा। जवानो, मइँ तोहका इ बरे लिखत अही, काहेकि तू ताकतवर अहा। परमेस्सर क बचन तोहरे अन्दर निवास करत ह अउर उ दुस्ट (सइतान) पइ जीत हासिल कइ लिये अहा।

¹⁴I have written to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God remains in you, and you have overcome the evil one.

¹⁵दुनिया स अउर दुनिया क तमाम चीजन स पिरेम जिन करा। जउ कउनो मनई दुनिया स पिरेम करत ह तउ ओनके हिरदइ मँ परमेस्सर कइँती पिरेम नाहीं रहत,

¹⁵Don’t love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him.

¹⁶काहेकि इ दुनिया क हर चीज: जउन तोहरे भौतिक मनई सुभाउ क अपनी अउर खींचत ह, तोहरी आँखिन क सोहात अउर इ दुनिया क हर उ चीज जउने प लोग घमंड करत हीं। परमपिता कइँती स नाहीं अहइ मुला उ तउ सांसारिक अहइ।

¹⁶For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, isn’t the Father’s, but is the world’s.

¹⁷इ दुनिया अपनी चाहत अउर इच्छा सहित खतम होत जात अहइ, मुला जउन मनई परमेस्सर क इच्छा क पालन करत ह, उ हमेसा रहत ह।

¹⁷The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God’s will remains forever.

¹⁸मोरे पिआरे बच्चो, आखिरी घड़ी आइ गइ अहइ जइसेन कि तू पचे सुने अहा, मसीह क विरोधी आवत अहइ। इ बरे अब मसीह क तमाम विरोधी प्रकट होइ गवा अहइँ इही बरे हम जानत अही कि आखिरी वक्त आइ ग अहइ।

¹⁸Little children, these are the end times, and as you heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen. By this we know that it is the final hour.

¹⁹मसीह क विरोधी हमरेन सबके बीच स निकरा अहइँ, मुला उ सबइ सही हमार सबन क न अही, काहेकि जदि उ पचे सचमुच हमार सबन क होतेन, तउ हमरे सबके साथे रहतेन। मुला उ पचे हम सबक छोड़ दिहेन, जइसेन कि उ दिखाइ सकइँ कि उ हमार सबन्क न अही।

¹⁹They went out from us, but they didn’t belong to us; for if they had belonged to us, they would have continued with us. But they left, that they might be revealed that none of them belong to us.

²⁰मुला तोहार अभिसेक तो उस पवित्तर स भवा ह, अउर तू सब जानत ह्या।

²⁰You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge. Or, “know what is true.” Or, “know all things.”

²¹मइँ तोहका इ बरे नाहीं लिखे अहउँ कि तू पचे सच्चाई क नाहीं जानत अहा, मुला तू पचे तउ ओका जानत अहा। एका जना ल्या कि सच्चाई स कउनो झूठ नाहीं निकर सकत।

²¹I have not written to you because you don’t know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.

²²मुला जउन मनई कहत ह कि ईसू मसीह नाहीं अहइ, उ मसीह क विरोधी अहइ। उ तउ बाप अउर बेटवा दुइनउ क नकार देत अहइ।

²²Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the Antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.

²³जउन मनई बेटवा क नाहीं मानत, ओकरे पास बापउ नाहीं अहइ, मुला जउन मनई बेटवा क मानत ह, उ बापउ क मानत ह।

²³Whoever denies the Son, the same doesn’t have the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also.

²⁴जहाँ तलक तोहार बात अहइ, तु सुरुआतइ स जउन सुने अहा, ओका अपने भीतर बनाए राखा। जउन तू आरम्भ स सुने अहा, जउ तोहरे अन्दर बरकरार रहत ह तउ बाप अउर बेटवा दुइनउँ तोहरे अन्दर बरकरार रहत हीं।

²⁴Therefore, as for you, let that remain in you which you heard from the beginning. If that which you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son, and in the Father.

²⁵उ हमका अनन्त जीवन देइ क वचन दिहे अहइ।

²⁵This is the promise which he promised us, the eternal life.

²⁶मइँ इ सब बात तोहसे ओनके बावत लिखत अहउँ, जउन तोहका ठगइ क जतन करत अहइँ।

²⁶These things I have written to you concerning those who would lead you astray.

²⁷मुला जहाँ तक तोहार बात अहइ, तोहरे मँ तउ उ परम पवित्तर स मिला अभिसेक अहइ, इ बरे तोहका तउ तू जरूरतइ नाहीं अहइ कि कउनो तोहका उपदेस देइ, तोहका तउ उ आतिमा जउने स उ परम पवित्तर तोहार अभिसेक करे अहइ, सब कछू सिखावत अहइ (अउर याद रखा कि उहइ सच्चाई बाटइ, उ झूठ नाहीं बाटइ।) उ तोहका जइसे सिखाए अहइ, वइसेन तू मसीह मँ बना रहा।

²⁷As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.

²⁸इ बरे पिआरे बच्चो, उही मँ बना रहा जइसेन कि जब हमका ओकर जानकारी होइ तउ हम आतिमा-बिसवास पाइ सकउँ। अउर ओकरे फिन स आवइ क वक्त हमका लज्जित न होइ क पड़इ।

²⁸Now, little children, remain in him, that when he appears, we may have boldness, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

²⁹जदि तू इ जानत अहा कि उ नेक अहइ तउ तू इहइ जान ल्या कि जउन नेकी प चलत ह उ परमेस्सर क सन्तान अहइ।

²⁹If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of him.
