1इही बरे मइँ इ निस्चय कई लिहे रहेउँ कि तोहका फिन स दुख देइ तोहरे लगे न आई।
1But I determined this for myself, that I would not come to you again in sorrow.
2काहेकि अगर मइँ तोहका दुखी करब तउ फिन भला अइसेन कउन होई जउन मोका सुखी करी? सिवाई तोहका जेका मइँ दुख दिहे अहउँ।
2For if I make you sorry, then who will make me glad but he who is made sorry by me?
3इहइ बात त मइँ तोहका लिखे हउँ कि जब मइँ तोहरे लगे आवउँ तउ जेनसे मोका आनन्द मिलइ चाही ओनके तरफ स मोका दुख न पहुँचावा जाई।
3And I wrote this very thing to you, so that, when I came, I wouldn’t have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy would be shared by all of you.
4काहेकि तू सबन मँ मोका बिसवास रहा कि मोर खुसी मँ तू सभे खुस होब्या। काहेकि तोहे मइँ दुख भरे मन अउर बेदना क साथे आँसू बहाई-बहाई क ई लिखे अहउँ। पर तोहका दुखी करई बरे नाहीं, बल्कि इही बरे कि तोहरे लिए जउन मोर पिरेम बाटई उ केतना महान बा तू ऍका जान सका
4For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote to you with many tears, not that you should be made sorry, but that you might know the love that I have so abundantly for you.
5मुला अगर कउनो मोका कउनउ दुख पहुँचावई तउ उ मोका केवल नाहीं, बल्कि कउनो न कउनो मात्रा मँ तू सबन क पहुँचाए बा।
5But if any has caused sorrow, he has caused sorrow, not to me, but in part (that I not press too heavily) to you all.
6अइसेन मनई क तोहार समुदाय जउन दण्ड दई दिहे अहइ, उहइ परियाप्त बा।
6Sufficient to such a one is this punishment which was inflicted by the many;
7इही बरे तू तउ अब ओकरे विपरीत ओका छमा कई द्या। अउर ओका प्रोत्साहित करा। ताकि उ कहूँ बढ़ाइ चढ़ाइ दुख मँ न डूबि जाई।
7so that on the contrary you should rather forgive him and comfort him, lest by any means such a one should be swallowed up with his excessive sorrow.
8इही बरे मोर तोहसे बिनती बा कि तू ओकरे बरे अपने पिरेम क बढ़ावा।
8Therefore I beg you to confirm your love toward him.
9इ मइँ तोहका इ देखई बरे लिखे अही कि तू परिच्छा मँ पूरा आज्ञाकारी ह्वा या नाहीं।
9For to this end I also wrote, that I might know the proof of you, whether you are obedient in all things.
10मुला अगर तू कउनो क कउनउ बात क बरे छमा करित ह तउ ओका मइँ भी छमा करत ह अउ जउन कछू छमा किहे अही। अगर कछू मइँ छमा किहे अही तउ उ मसीह हमरे साथ रहा तोहरे बरे किहे अही।
10Now I also forgive whomever you forgive anything. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ,
11ताकि सइतान हमसे कछू भी न जीत सकइ।
11that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his schemes.
12जब मसीह क सुसमाचार क प्रचार करई बरे मइँ त्रोआस आएउँ तउ उहाँ मोरे बरे पर्भू क दुवार खुला रहा।
12Now when I came to Troas for the Good News of Christ, and when a door was opened to me in the Lord,
13अपने भाई तितुस क उहाँ न पाइके मोर मन बहुत बियाकुल रहा। तउ ओनसे विदा लइके मइँ मैसीडोनिया क चली दीन्ह।
13I had no relief for my spirit, because I didn’t find Titus, my brother, but taking my leave of them, I went out into Macedonia.
14मुला परमेस्सर धन्य अहइ जउन मसीह क कारण अपने विजय अभियान मँ हमरे हमेसा राह देखॉवत ह। अउर हमरे कारण हर कहूँ अपने गियान क सुगन्धि फैइलावत ह।
14Now thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and reveals through us the sweet aroma of his knowledge in every place.
15काहेकि ओनके बरे जउन अबहीं उद्धार क राह पर अहइँ अउर ओऩके बरे जउन बिनास क रस्ता पर अहइँ, हम मसीह क परमेस्सर क समर्पित मधुर भीनी सुगांधित धूप अही।
15For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God, in those who are saved, and in those who perish;
16मुला ओनके बरे जउन खोइ ग अहइँ। इ मऊत क अइसेन दुर्गन्ध अहइ। जउन मऊत कइँती लई जात ह। पर ओनके बरे जउन उद्धार क रस्ता पर बढ़त अहइँ, इ जीवन क अइसेन सुगन्ध अहइ, जउन जीवन क तरफ अग्रसर करत ह। मुला इ काम बरे सुपात्र आदमी कउन बाटेन?
16to the one a stench from death to death; to the other a sweet aroma from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things?
17परमेस्सर क बचन क अपने लाभ बरे, ओं मइँ मिलावट कइके बेचईवाले बहुत जने से दुसरे लोगन जइसे हम नाहीं अही। न तउ! हम ते परमेस्सर क समन्वा परमेस्सर क तरफ स भेजा गवा मनइयन क समान मसीह मँ स्थित होकर, सच्चाई क साथे बोलित ह।
17For we are not as so many, peddling the word of God. But as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God, we speak in Christ.
