¹अबहिं पतरस अउर यूहन्ना मनइयन स बतियात रहेन कि याजक, मन्दिर क सिपाहियन क मुखिया अउर कछू सदूकीयन ओनकइ लगे आएन।

¹As they spoke to the people, the priests and the captain of the temple and the Sadducees came to them,

²उ पचे ओनसे इ बाते प भिनका रहेन कि पतरस अउर यूहन्ना उपदेस देत भए ईसू क मरे हुएन मँ स जी उठइ क जरिए पुनरूत्थान क प्रचार करत रहेन।

²being upset because they taught the people and proclaimed in Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

³तउ उ पचे ओका बन्दी बनइ लिहेन अउर काहेकि उ समइ साँझ होइ ग रही, ऍह बरे दूसर दिना हौलात मँ राखेन।

³They laid hands on them, and put them in custody until the next day, for it was now evening.

⁴मुला उ पचे उ संदेसा सुनेन कि ओनमाँ स बहोतन ओह प बिसवास अउर इ तरह ओनकइ गनती पाँच हजार ताईं पहोंच गइ।

⁴But many of those who heard the word believed, and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.

⁵दूसरे दिन यहूदी नेतन बुजुर्ग यहदी नेतन अउर धरम सास्तिरियन यरूसलेम मँ बटुरेन।

⁵It happened in the morning, that their rulers, elders, and scribes were gathered together in Jerusalem.

⁶महायाजक हन्ना, काइफा, यूहन्ना, सिकन्दर अउर महायाजक क परिवारे क सबहिं मनई भी हुवाँ हाजिर रहेन।

⁶Annas the high priest was there, with Caiaphas, John, Alexander, and as many as were relatives of the high priest.

⁷उ सबइ इ प्रेरितन क आपन समन्वा खड़ा कइके पूछइ लागेन, “तू पचे कउने सक्ती या अधिकार स इ काम किहे ह?”

⁷When they had stood them in the middle of them, they inquired, “By what power, or in what name, have you done this?”

⁸फिन पवित्तर आतिमा क सवार होए स पतरस ओनसे कहेस, “हे मनइयन क नेतन अउर बुजुर्ग नेतन।

⁸Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “You rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,

⁹जदि आजु हमसे एक बीमार मनई क संग कीन्ह भलाई क बारे मँ इ पूछब पछोरब होत अहइ कि उ नीक कइसे होइ गवा।

⁹if we are examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed,

¹⁰तउ तू सबन्क अउर इस्राएल क मनइयन क इ पता होइ जाइ चाही कि इ काम नासरी ईसू मसीह क नाउँ स भवा ह जेका तू पचे क्रूस प चढ़ाइ दिहा ह जेका परमेस्सर मरि जाए प पुनर्जीवित कइ दिहस ह। उहइ क जरिए पूरी तरह स नीक भवा इ मनई तोहरे समन्वा ठाड़ बा।

¹⁰be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole.

¹¹इ ईसू उहइ ‘पाथर अहइ जेका तू सबइ राजमिस्तरी लोग तुच्छ जान्या रहा, उहइ बहोत खास पाथर बन गवा अहइ।’ भजन संहिता 118:22

¹¹He is ‘the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.’ Psalm 118:22

¹²कउनो दूसर स उद्धार नाहीं अहइ, संसारे मँ अउर दूसर नाउँ नाहीं अहइ जेहसे मानव जाति बचाई जाय सकइ। हम सब ईसू स ही उद्धार पाउब!”

¹²There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”

¹³उ पचे जब पतरस अउर यूहन्ना क निडर होब निहारेन अउर इ समुझेन कि पतरस अउर यूहन्ना अनपढ़ अउर साधारण मनइ रहेन तउ ओनका बहोत अचरज भवा। फिन उ पचे जान गएन कि इ सबइ ईसू क संग रहि चुका बाटेन।

¹³Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled. They recognized that they had been with Jesus.

¹⁴अउर काहेकि उ पचे उ मनई क जउन चंगा भ रहा, ओनकइ संग खड़ा भवा लखत रहेन। तउ ओनकइ लगे तनिकउ बोलइ क कछू नाहीं रहा।

¹⁴Seeing the man who was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

¹⁵उ पचे ओनसे यहूदी महासभा स निकर जाइ क कहेन अउर फिन उ सबइ इ कहत भए आपुस मँ बिचार करइ लागेन कि

¹⁵But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,

¹⁶“इ पचन्क संग कइसा बिवहार कीन्ह जाइ? काहेकि यरूसलेम मँ बसइया हर कउनो जानत ह कि ऍनके जरिये एक ठु अजरज क काम कीन्ह गवा ह अउर हम ओका मना नाहीं कइ सकित।

¹⁶saying, “What shall we do to these men? Because indeed a notable miracle has been done through them, as can be plainly seen by all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we can’t deny it.

¹⁷मुला हम ऍनका चिताउनी दइ देइ कि उ सबइ इ नाउँ क बात कउनो अउर मनई स जिन करइँ काहेकि मनइयन म इ बात क संचरइ क अउर फैलि जाइ स रोक जाइ सकइ।”

¹⁷But so that this spreads no further among the people, let’s threaten them, that from now on they don’t speak to anyone in this name.”

¹⁸तउ पचे ओनका भीतर बोलाएन अउर हुकुम दिहेन कि उ पचे ईसू क नाउँ पन तउ कउनो स कछू बात करइँ अउर न ही उपदेस देइँ।

¹⁸They called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.

¹⁹मुला पतरस अउर यूहन्ना ओनका जवाब दिहेन, “तू पचे ही फरियावा, क परमेस्सर क समन्वा हमरे बरे इ नीक होइ कि परमेस्सर न सुनिके हम तोहार सुनी?

¹⁹But Peter and John answered them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, judge for yourselves,

²⁰हम, जउन कछू हम पचे लखा ह अउर सुना ह, ओका कहे क आलावा अउर कछू नाहिं कर सकित।”

²⁰for we can’t help telling the things which we saw and heard.”

²¹When they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them, because of the people; for everyone glorified God for that which was done.

²²For the man on whom this miracle of healing was performed was more than forty years old.

²³जब ओनका छोड़ दीन्ह गवा तउ आपन ही मनइयन क लगे आइ गएन अउर ओनसे जउन कछू मुख्ययाजक अउर बुजुर्ग यहूदी नेतन कहेन, उ सब ओनका कहिके सुनावा गवा।

²³Being let go, they came to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and the elders had said to them.

²⁴जब उ पचे इ सुनेन तउ मिलिके उँची आवाज मँ परमेस्सर क गोहरावत भवा बोलेन, “स्वामी, तू ही अकास, धरती, समुद्दर अउर ओकरे अंदर जउन कछू अहइ, ओका बनाया ह।

²⁴When they heard it, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, “O Lord, you are God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them;

²⁵तू ही पवित्तर आतिमा क जरिये आपन सेवक, हमरे पूर्वज दाऊद क मुँहना स कहे रहा: ‘देखाएन इ जानित आपन अहंकार काहे? मनइयन वृथा ही कुचाल काहे किहेन?

²⁵who by the mouth of your servant, David, said, ‘Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing?

²⁶इ धरती क राजा लोग आपन क तइयार किहेन ओनके खिलाफ जुद्ध बरे। अउर राजा बटुर गएन पर्भू अउर ओकरे मसीह क खिलाफत मँ।’ भजन संहिता 2:1-2

²⁶The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers take council together, against the Lord, and against his Christ Christ (Greek) and Messiah (Hebrew) both mean Anointed One. .’ Psalm 2:1-2

²⁷हाँ, हेरोदेस अउर पुन्तियूस पिलातुस भी इ सहर मँ गैर यहूदियन अउर इस्त्राएलियन क संग मिलिके तोहरे पवित्तर सेवक ईसू क खिलाफ, जेकर तू मसीह रूप मँ अभिसेक किहे ह, सचमुच उ पचे एक अउट ग रहेन।

²⁷“For truly, in this city against your holy servant, Jesus, whom you anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together

²⁸उ पचे बटुर गएन काहेकि तोहार सक्ती अउर इच्छा क अनुसार जउन कछू पहिले ही तय होइ चुका रहा उ पूरा होइ।

²⁸to do whatever your hand and your council foreordained to happen.

²⁹अउर अबहिं हे पर्भू, ओनकइ धमकिन प धियान द्या अउर आपन सेवक लोगन क निडर होइके ‘तोहार बचन’ सुनावइ क सक्ती द्या।

²⁹Now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness,

³⁰जब कि चंगा किहे क पाछे आपन हाथ बढ़ाया अउर अद्भुत चीन्हन अउर अद्भुत कारजन तोहरे पवित्तर सेवकन क जरिये ईसू क नाउँ प कीन्ह जात रहत हीं।”

³⁰while you stretch out your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy Servant Jesus.”

³¹जब उ पचे पराथना कइ चुकेन तउ जउने ठउरे प उ सबइ बटुरा रहेन, उ हल गवा अउर ओन सब मँ ‘पवित्तर आतिमा’ समाइ गवा। अउर उ पचे निडर होइके परमेस्सर क बचन बोलइ लागेन।

³¹When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

³²बिसवासियन क इ समूचा दल एक मन अउर एक आतिमा स साथ रहा। कउनो भी इ नाहीं कहत रहा कि ओकर कउनो भी चीज ओकर आपन अहइ। ओनकइ लगे जउन कछू होत, उ पचे सब कछू क आपुस मँ बाँट लेतेन।

³²The multitude of those who believed were of one heart and soul. Not one of them claimed that anything of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.

³³अउर प्रेरितन पूरी सक्ती क संग पर्भू ईसू क पुनरूत्थान क बारे मँ साच्छी देत रहेन। परमेस्सर क महान बरदान ओन पइ बना रहत।

³³With great power, the apostles gave their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Great grace was on them all.

³⁴दले मँ कउनो क कउनो चीज क कमी नाहीं रहत रही। काहेकि जउन कउनो क लगे खेत या घर होत, उ पचे ओका बेच देत रहेन अउर ओसे जउन धन मिलत,

³⁴For neither was there among them any who lacked, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold,

³⁵ओका लिआइके प्रेरितन क गोड़वा प धइ देतेन। अउर जेका जेतॅनी जरूरत होत, ओका ओतॅना धन दइ दीन्ह जात।

³⁵and laid them at the apostles’ feet, and distribution was made to each, according as anyone had need.

³⁶उदाहरण बरे यूसुफ नाउँ क, साइप्रस मँ पइदा भवा, एक लेवी रहा, जेका प्रेरितन बरनाबास (अर्थात् “सान्ति क पूत”) भी कहा करत रहेन।

³⁶Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas (which is, being interpreted, Son of Encouragement), a Levite, a man of Cyprus by race,

³⁷उ एक ठु खेत बेंच दिहेस जेकर उ मालिक रहा अउर उ धन लाइके प्रेरितन क गोड़वा प धइ दिहस।

³⁷having a field, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
