¹मइँ कहत हउँ कि उत्तराधिकारी जब तलक बच्चा बा तउ चाहे सब कछू क स्वामी उहइ होत ह, फिन भी उ दास स जियाद कछू नाहीं रहत।

¹But I say that so long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a bondservant, though he is lord of all;

²उ संरच्छकन अउर घरे क सेवकन क तब तक अधीन रहत ह। जब तक ओकरे पिता द्वारा निस्चत समइ नाहीं आई जात।

²but is under guardians and stewards until the day appointed by the father.

³हमरउ भी अइसेही स्थिति बा। हमहुँ जब बच्चा रहेन तउ संसारी नियमन क दास रहेन।

³So we also, when we were children, were held in bondage under the elemental principles of the world.

⁴मुला जब अच्छा समइ आवा त परमेस्सर तउ अपने पूत क भेजेस जउन एक स्त्री स जनमा रहा।

⁴But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law,

⁵अउर उ व्यवस्था क अधीन जिअत रहा। ताकि उ व्यवस्था क अधीन व्यक्तियन क मुक्त कराइ सकइ जेसे हम परमेस्सर क गोद लीन्ह भए बच्चन बन सकी।

⁵that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of children.

⁶अउर फिन काहेकि तू परमेस्सर क सन्तान अहा, तउन उ सबन क हिरदय मँ पूत क आतिमा क पठए रहा। उहइ आतिमा, “अब्बा” या “पिता” कहतइ बोलवावत ह।

⁶And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba, Abba is a Greek spelling for the Aramaic word for “Father” or “Daddy” used in a familiar, respectful, and loving way. Father!”

⁷इही बरे अब तू दास नाहीं अहा बल्कि परमेस्सर क सन्तान अहा अउर काहेकि तू सन्तान अहा इही बरे तोहका परमेस्सर आपन उत्तराधिकारी बनाए ह।

⁷So you are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

⁸पहिले तू सभे जब परमेस्सर क नाहीं जानत रह्या, तउ तू सभे देवतन क दास रह्या। उ सच नाहीं अहइ वास्तव मँ उ सबइ परमेस्सर नाहीं रहेन।

⁸However at that time, not knowing God, you were in bondage to those who by nature are not gods.

⁹मुला अब तू परमेस्सर क जानत अहा, या अइसेन कहइ चाही कि परमेस्सर क जरिये अब तू पचन क पहिचान लीन्हा गवा बा। फिन तू ओनन्ह साररहित, कमजोर नियमन कइँती काहे लउट अहा। तू पचे फिन स ओनके अधीन काहे होइ चाहत ह?

⁹But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, why do you turn back again to the weak and miserable elemental principles, to which you desire to be in bondage all over again?

¹⁰तू पचे कउनो विशेष दिनन महीनन ऋतुव न अउर बरिसन क मानइ लाग अहा।

¹⁰You observe days, months, seasons, and years.

¹¹तू पचन क बारे मँ मोका डेर लागत ह कि तू पचन क बरे जउन काम मइँ किहे हउँ उ सबइ कहुँ खराब तउ नाहीं होइ गवा अहइँ।

¹¹I am afraid for you, that I might have wasted my labor for you.

¹²हे भाइयो तथा बहिनियो, कृपा कइके तू सब मोरे जइसेन बनि जा। देखा, मोहुँ तउ तू पचन जइसेन बनि गवा हउँ, इ मोर तू पचन स बिनती बा, अइसेन नाहीं कि तू पचे मोरे बरे कउनउ गलती किहे अहा।

¹²I beg you, brothers, become as I am, for I also have become as you are. You did me no wrong,

¹³तू पचे तउ जनबई करत ह कि आपन सरीरी क व्याधियन क कारण मइँ पहिली दाई तू सबन इ सुसमाचार सुनाए रहेउँ।

¹³but you know that because of weakness of the flesh I preached the Good News to you the first time.

¹⁴अउर तू सब हऊँ तउ, मोरी बीमारी क कारण, जउन तोहार परीच्छा लीन्ही गइ रही, ओहसे मोका छोट नाहीं समझया अउर न तउ मोरे निसेध किह्या। बल्कि तू पचे परमेस्सर क सरगदूत क रूपे मँ मोर सुवागत किहे अहा। माना कि मइँ खुदई ईसू मसीह रहेउँ।

¹⁴That which was a temptation to you in my flesh, you didn’t despise nor reject; but you received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.

¹⁵तउन तू सबन क उ खुसी क का भवा? मइँ तोहरे बरे खुदइ इ बाते क साच्छी हउँ कि अगर तू पचे समरथ होत ह्या तउ तू पचे आपन आँखी तक निकाली क मोका दइ देत्या।

¹⁵What was the blessing you enjoyed? For I testify to you that, if possible, you would have plucked out your eyes and given them to me.

¹⁶तउन का सच बोलइ स ही मइँ तू पचन क दुस्मन होइ गएउँ?

¹⁶So then, have I become your enemy by telling you the truth?

¹⁷तू पचन क व्यवस्था पर चलावइ बरे चाहइवालन तोहमाँ बड़ी गहिर रूचि लेत हीं। मुला ओनकर उद्देस्य अच्छा नाहीं बा। उ तू सबइ पचन क मोसे अलग करइ चाहत हीं। ताकि तू पचे ओहमाँ गहिर रुचि लइ सका।

¹⁷They zealously seek you in no good way. No, they desire to alienate you, that you may seek them.

¹⁸कउनउ कीहीउँ मँ हमेसा गहिर रूचि लेत रहइ, इ तउ एक अच्छी बात अहइ। मुला इ कीहीउँ अच्छे क बरे होइ चाही। अउर बस उही समइ नाहीं, जब मइँ तोहरे साथे हउँ।

¹⁸But it is always good to be zealous in a good cause, and not only when I am present with you.

¹⁹मोर प्रिय सन्तानों, मइँ तू सबन क बरे एक बार फिन प्रसव वेदना क झेलत हउँ। जब तलक तू पचे मसीह जइसे नाहीं होइ जात्या।

¹⁹My little children, of whom I am again in travail until Christ is formed in you—

²⁰मइँ चाहत हउँ कि अबहीं तू पचन के लगे आइ पहुँचउँ अउर तू सबन क साथे अलग तरह स बात करउँ, काहेकि मइँ समझ नाहीं पावत हउँ कि तू पचन बरे का करा जाइ।

²⁰but I could wish to be present with you now, and to change my tone, for I am perplexed about you.

²¹मूसा क व्यवस्था क आधीन रहइ चाहइवालन स मइँ पूछत हउँ का तू पचे व्यवस्था क इ कहब नाहीं सुन्या?

²¹Tell me, you that desire to be under the law, don’t you listen to the law?

²²पवित्तर सास्तरन कहत हीं कि इब्राहीम क दुइ बेटवा रहेन। एक क जन्म एक दासी स भवा रहा अउर दुसरे क स्वतन्त्र स्त्री स।

²²For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the handmaid, and one by the free woman.

²³दासी स पइदा भवा बेटवा सहज नियमन मँ पैदा भवा रहा, मुला स्वतन्त्र स्त्री स पइदा बच्चा परमेस्सर क जरिये दीन्ह गयि प्रतिज्ञा क परिणाम अहइ।

²³However, the son by the handmaid was born according to the flesh, but the son by the free woman was born through promise.

²⁴इन बातन क प्रतीकात्मक मतलब अहइ-इऩ दुन्नउ स्त्री दुई करारन क चिन्ह अहइँ। एक करार सीनै पर्वत स मिला रहा जे ओन सभन क जनम दिहेस जउन दासता क बरे रहेन। इ करार हाजिरा स सम्बधित बा।

²⁴These things contain an allegory, for these are two covenants. One is from Mount Sinai, bearing children to bondage, which is Hagar.

²⁵हाजिरा अरब मँ स्थित सीनै पर्वत क चिन्ह अहइ, उ वर्तमान धरती क यरूसलेम क समान अहइ, काहके उ अपने बेटवन क साथे दासता भोगत रही,

²⁵For this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to the Jerusalem that exists now, for she is in bondage with her children.

²⁶मुला सरग मँ स्थित यरूसलेम स्वतन्त्र अहइ। अउर उहइ हमार माता अहइ।

²⁶But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

²⁷पवित्तर सास्तर कहत हः “बाँझ! मनावा आनन्द, जना तू न कउनो क प्रसव वेदना भइ न तोहका, हर्स नाद कइके अउर खिलखिला हंसी खुसी मँ काहके अनगिनत संतान अहइँ छोड़ी भइ मुला नाहीं ना ओकर ओतनी, जउन सुहागिन।” यसायाह 54:1

²⁷For it is written, “Rejoice, you barren who don’t bear. Break forth and shout, you that don’t travail. For more are the children of the desolate than of her who has a husband.” Isaiah 54:1

²⁹But as then, he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is now.

³⁰मुला देखा पवित्तर सास्तर क कहत ह? “इ दासी अउर ओकर बेटवा क निकाल क बाहर करा, काहेकि इ दासी क बेटवा तउ स्वतन्त्र स्त्री क बेटवा क साथे उत्तराधिकारी न होई।”

³⁰However what does the Scripture say? “Throw out the handmaid and her son, for the son of the handmaid will not inherit with the son of the free woman.” Genesis 21:10

³¹ऍह बरे भाइयन! हम ओह दासी क सन्दान नाहीं हई, बल्कि हम तउ स्वतन्त्र स्त्री क सन्तान हई।

³¹So then, brothers, we are not children of a handmaid, but of the free woman.
