¹फसह क त्यौहार क पहिले ईसू देखेस कि इ दुनिया क छोड़इ अउर परमपिता क पास जाइ क ओकर समइ आइ गवा अहइ तउ इ दुनिया मँ जउन आपन रहेन अउर जेका उ पिरेम करत रहा, ओनके ऊपर उ बहुत जियादा पिरेम देखॉएस।

¹Now before the feast of the Passover, Jesus, knowing that his time had come that he would depart from this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

²संझा क खाना खावा जात रहा। सइतान अब तलक समौन क बेटवा यहूदा इस्करियोती क मन मँ इ डाइ चुका रहा कि उ ईसू क धोखे स पकड़वाइ देइ।

²During supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him,

³ईसू इ जानत रहा कि परमपिता सब चीज ओकरे हाथन मँ सौंप दिहे अहइ अउर परमेस्सर स आवा बाटइ, अउर परमेस्सर क पास वापस जात अहइ।

³Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came forth from God, and was going to God,

⁴इ बरे उ खाना छोड़के ठाढ़ होइ गवा। उ आपन ऊपर क सब कपरा उतार दिहेस अउर एक ठु अँगौछा अपने चारों तरफ लपेट लिहेस।

⁴arose from supper, and laid aside his outer garments. He took a towel, and wrapped a towel around his waist.

⁵फिन एक ठु घड़ा मँ पानी भरेस अउर अपने चेलन क पाँव धोअइ लाग अउर जउन अँगौछा लपेटे रहा, उहइ स सबकइ पाँव पोंछइ लाग।

⁵Then he poured water into the basin, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him.

⁶फिन जब उ समौन पतरस क लगे पहुँचा तउ पतरस ओसे कहेस, “पर्भू, का तू मोरे पाँव धोअइ आवत अहा?”

⁶Then he came to Simon Peter. He said to him, “Lord, do you wash my feet?”

⁷ऍकरे जवाब मँ ईसू कहेस, “अबहीं तू नाहीं जानत अहा कि मइँ का करत अही, बाद मँ तू जान जाब्या।”

⁷Jesus answered him, “You don’t know what I am doing now, but you will understand later.”

⁸परतस ओसे कहेस, “तू मोर पाँव कबहूँ नाहीं धोउब्या।” ईसू जवाब दिहेस, “जब तोहार पाँव मइँ न धोउब तउ तू मोरे लगे जगह नाहीं पाइ सकत्या।”

⁸Peter said to him, “You will never wash my feet!” Jesus answered him, “If I don’t wash you, you have no part with me.”

⁹समौन पतरस ओसे कहेस, “पर्भू, तू मोर पाँव नाहीं मोर हाथ अउर मुँड़वा क भी धोइ द्या।”

⁹Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!”

¹⁰ईसू ओसे कहेस, “जे नहाइ चुका अहइ, ओका पैर धोअइ क अलावा अउर कउनो चीज धोअइ क जरूरत नाहीं अहइ। उ तउ पूरी तरह साफ सुथरा होत ह। तू पचे साफ अहा, मुला सब जने नाहीं।”

¹⁰Jesus said to him, “Someone who has bathed only needs to have his feet washed, but is completely clean. You are clean, but not all of you.”

¹¹उ ओका जानत रहा जउन ओका धोखा स पकड़वावइ चाहत रहा। इ बरे उ कहे रहा, “तोहरे मँ स सब पवित्तर नाहीं अहइँ।”

¹¹For he knew him who would betray him, therefore he said, “You are not all clean.”

¹²जब उ सबक पाँव (गोड़) धोइ लिहेस तउ फिन स आपन बाहरी कपड़ा पहिर लिहेस अउ, अपनी जगह प आइके बइठ गवा। अउर ओनसे बोला, “का तोहका मालूम अहइ कि मइँ तोहरे बरे का किहेउँ?

¹²So when he had washed their feet, put his outer garment back on, and sat down again, he said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you?

¹³तू पचे मोका ‘गुरू’ अउर ‘पर्भू’ कहत ह, अउर ठीक कहत ह, काहेकि मइँ उहइ अही।

¹³ You call me, ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord.’ You say so correctly, for so I am.

¹⁴इ बरे जब मइँ पर्भू अउर गुरू होइके तोहार पचे का पाँव धोवा तउ तोहका सबेन्ह क एक दूसरे क पाँव धोवइ चाही। मइँ तोहरे सामने एक उदाहरण पेस करत अहउँ।

¹⁴ If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.

¹⁵तू पचे दूसरे क साथ वइसे करा जइसे मइँ तोहरे साथ करत अही।

¹⁵ For I have given you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you.

¹⁶मइँ तोहका सच्ची बात बतावत अही कि दास मालिक स बड़ा नाहीं होत अउर संदेस देइवाला ओसे बड़ा नाहीं होत जउन ओका भेजेस।

¹⁶ Most certainly I tell you, a servant is not greater than his lord, neither one who is sent greater than he who sent him.

¹⁷जब तू पचे इ बात जानत अहा। अउ ओकर पालन करब्या तउ तू पचे सुखी रहब्या।

¹⁷ If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

¹⁸“मइँ तोहरे सबेन्ह क बारे मँ नाहीं कहत अहउँ। मइँ ओनका जानित ही जेनका मइँ चुने अहउँ। अउर इहउ कि यहूदा बिसवासघाति अहइ मुला मइँ इ बरे चुने अही जइसे कि पवित्तर सास्तर क बचन सही उतरइ, ‘उहइ जउन मोरे साथ रोटी खाएस, मोरे विरोध मँ होइ गवा।’

¹⁸ I don’t speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen. But that the Scripture may be fulfilled, ‘He who eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me.’ Psalm 41:9

¹⁹इ सब घट जाइ क पहले मइँ इ बरे बतावत अहउँ जइसे कि जब इ घटित होइ जाइ तउ तू पचे बिसवास करा कि उ मइँ अहउँ।

¹⁹ From now on, I tell you before it happens, that when it happens, you may believe that I am he.

²⁰मइँ तोहका सही सही बतावत अहउँ कि उ जउन मोरे भेजा गवा क लइ लेत ह, उ मोका स्वीकार कर लेत ह, अउर जउन मोका स्वीकार कर लेत ह, ओका स्वीकार कर लेत ह, जे मोका भेजेस।”

²⁰ Most certainly I tell you, he who receives whomever I send, receives me; and he who receives me, receives him who sent me.”

²¹इ कहे क बाद ईसू बहुत घबड़ाइ गवा अउर इ साच्छी दिहेस, “मइँ तोहसे सच्ची बात कहत अहउँ तोहरे मँ स एक ठु मनई धोखा दइके मोका पकड़वाई।”

²¹When Jesus had said this, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, “Most certainly I tell you that one of you will betray me.”

²²तब ओकर चेलन एक दूसरे क देखइ लागेन। उ पचे इ तय नहीं कइ पावत रहेन कि उ केहिके बारे मँ बतावत अहइ।

²²The disciples looked at one another, perplexed about whom he spoke.

²³ओकर एक चेला ईसू क लगे बइठा रहा। ईसू ओका बहुत चाहत रहा।

²³One of his disciples, whom Jesus loved, was at the table, leaning against Jesus’ breast.

²⁴तउ समौन परतस ओका इसारा कइके पूछइ बरे कहेस कि ईसू केकरे बारे मँ बतावत अहइ।

²⁴Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, and said to him, “Tell us who it is of whom he speaks.”

²⁵ईसू क चहेता चेला ओकरी छाती प झुकके ओसे पूछेस, “पर्भू उ कउन अहइ?”

²⁵He, leaning back, as he was, on Jesus’ breast, asked him, “Lord, who is it?”

²⁶ईसू जवाब दिहेस, “रोटी क टुकड़ा कटोरा मँ बोर के जेका मइँ देब, उहइ उ अहइ।” फिन ईसू रोटी क टुकड़ा कटोरा मँ बोर के ओका उठाइके समौन क बेटवा यहूदा इरूकरियोती क दिहेस।

²⁶Jesus therefore answered, “It is he to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it.” So when he had dipped the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.

²⁷जइसे यहूदा रोटी क टुकड़ा लिहेस ओहमा सइतान समाइ गवा। फिन ईसू ओसे कहेस, “जउन तू करइ जात अहा, ओका जल्दी स कइ ल्या!”

²⁷After the piece of bread, then Satan entered into him. Then Jesus said to him, “What you do, do quickly.”

²⁸मुला हुवाँ बइठे लोगन मँ स केहू नाहीं समझ पाएस कि ईसू ओसे अइसी बात काहे करत अहइ।

²⁸Now no man at the table knew why he said this to him.

²⁹कछू सोचेन कि रूपियन क थैली यहूदा क लगे रहत ह, इ बरे ईसू ओसे कहत अहइ कि ‘त्यौहार’ क बरे जरूरी सामान खरीद ल्या या इ कहत अहइ कि गरीबन क कछू दइ द्या।

²⁹For some thought, because Judas had the money box, that Jesus said to him, “Buy what things we need for the feast,” or that he should give something to the poor.

³⁰इ बरे यहूदा रोटी क टुकड़ा लइ लिहेस अउर तुरन्त चला गवा। इ रात क समइ रहा।

³⁰Therefore having received that morsel, he went out immediately. It was night.

³¹ओकरे चला जाइ क बाद ईसू कहेस, “मनई क पूत अब महिमावान भवा अहइ। अउर ओसे परमेस्सर क महिमा भइ अहइ।

³¹When he had gone out, Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man has been glorified, and God has been glorified in him.

³²जदि ओसे परमेस्सर क महिमा भइ अहइ तउ परमेस्सर खुदइ स ओका महिमावान बनाई। अउर उ ओका जल्दी महिमा देइ।

³² If God has been glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and he will glorify him immediately.

³³“ऐ मोर चहेता बच्चो! मइँ तनिक देर अउर तोहरे साथ अहउँ। तू पचे मोका ढूँढ़िब्या अउर जइसे कि मइँ यहूदियन स कहे अहउँ, तू सबेन्ह हुवाँ नाहीं जाइ सकत्या, जहाँ मइँ जात अहउँ, वइसे मइँ तोहसे अब कहत अहउँ।

³³ Little children, I will be with you a little while longer. You will seek me, and as I said to the Jews, ‘Where I am going, you can’t come,’ so now I tell you.

³⁴“मइँ तोहका सबेन्ह क एक नवा आदेस देत अहउँ कि तू सबेन्ह एक दूसरे स पिरेम करा। जइसे मइँ तोहसे सबेन्ह स पिरेम करेउँ ह, वइसे तू पचे एक दूसरे स पिरेम करा।

³⁴ A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, just like I have loved you; that you also love one another.

³⁵जब तू पचे एक दूसरे स पिरेम करब्या, तबहीं सब जानि पइहीं कि तू सबेन्ह मोर चेलन अह्या।”

³⁵ By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

³⁶समौन पतरस ओसे पूछेस, “पर्भू, तू कहाँ जात अहा?” ईसू जवाब दिहेस, “जहाँ मइँ जात हउँ, अब तू मोरे पाछे नाहीं आइ सकत्या, मुला तू बाद मँ मोरे पाछे अउब्या।”

³⁶Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, where are you going?” Jesus answered, “Where I am going, you can’t follow now, but you will follow afterwards.”

³⁷पतरस ओसे पूछेस, “पर्भू, मइँ तोहरे पाछे काहे बरे नाहीं आइ सकत? मइँ तउ तोहरे बरे आपन जान तक दइ देब!”

³⁷Peter said to him, “Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.”

³⁸ईसू जवाब दिहेस, “तू मोरे लिए आपन जान देब्या? मइँ तोहसे सच्ची बात अहउँ कि जब तलक तू तीन दाई इन्कार न कइ देब्या तब तक एक मुर्गा बाँग न देई।”

³⁸Jesus answered him, “Will you lay down your life for me? Most certainly I tell you, the rooster won’t crow until you have denied me three times.
