¹उ समइया हुवाँ हाजिर कछू मनइयन ईसू क ओन गलीलियन क बारे मँ बताएस जेनकइ लहू पिलातुस ओनके बलिदान क संग मिलाइ दिहे रहा।

¹Now there were some present at the same time who told him about the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.

²तउ ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “तू का सोचत ह कि सबइ गलीलियन दूसर सबइ गलीलियन स जिआदा पापी रहेन काहेकि ओनका इ सबइ बातन भीजे पड़ी?

²Jesus answered them, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered such things?

³नाहीं! मइँ तोहका बतावत हउँ, जदि तू भी मनफिरावा नाहीं करब्या तउ तू भी वइसी ही मउत स मरब्या जइसी उ सबइ मरे रहेन!

³ I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.

⁴या ओन अट्ठारह मनइयन क बारे मँ तू का सोचत ह जेनके ऊपर सीलोह क बुर्ज गिरिके ओनका मारि डाएस। का सोचत ह, उ सबइ यरूसलेम मँ वसइया दूसर सबइ ही मनइयन स जिआदा अपराधी रहेन?

⁴ Or those eighteen, on whom the tower in Siloam fell, and killed them; do you think that they were worse offenders than all the men who dwell in Jerusalem?

⁵नाहीं! मइँ तोहका बतावत हउँ कि जदि तू मनवा न फिरउव्या तउ तू भी वइसे ही मरब्या!”

⁵ I tell you, no, but, unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.”

⁶फिन उ इ दिस्टान्त कथा कहेस: “कउनो मनई आपन अँगूरे क बारी मँ एक ठु अंजीरे क बृच्छ रोपे रहा। तउ उ ओह पइ फल ढूँढ़इ आवा पर ओका कछू नाहीं मिल पावा।

⁶He spoke this parable. “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it, and found none.

⁷ऍह पइ उ माली स कहेस, ‘अब लखा मइँ तीन बरिस स अँजीरे क बृच्छ प फल टटोरत आवत हउँ मुला मोका एक ठु भी नाहीं मिलि पावा। एह बरे ऍका काटि डावा। इ धरती क अइसी ही वृथा काहे करत रहइ?’

⁷ He said to the vine dresser, ‘Behold, these three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and found none. Cut it down. Why does it waste the soil?’

⁸माली ओका जवाब दिहेस, ‘स्वामी ऍका इ बरिस तब ताईं तजि द्या, जब तलक मइँ ऍकरे चारिहुँ कइँती खनिके एहमाँ पाँस नउबउँ।

⁸ He answered, ‘Lord, leave it alone this year also, until I dig around it, and fertilize it.

⁹फिन जदि उ अगवा बरिस फल देइ तउ नीक बा अउर जदि नाहीं देत तउ तू ऍका काटि डाइ सकत ह।”‘

⁹ If it bears fruit, fine; but if not, after that, you can cut it down.’”

¹⁰कउनो आराधनालय मँ सबित क दिन ईसू जब उपदेस देत रहा।

¹⁰He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath day.

¹¹तउ हुवँई एक अइसी स्त्री रही जेहमाँ दुस्ट आतिमा समाइ ग रही। जउन ओका अट्ठारह बरिस स पंगु बनाइ दिहे रही। उ निहुरिके कुबड़ी होइ गइ अउर तनिकउ सोझ नाहीं होइ सकत रही।

¹¹Behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and she was bent over, and could in no way straighten herself up.

¹²ईसू ओका जब निहारेस तउ आपन लगे बोलाएस अउर, “हे स्त्री, तोहका आपन बेरामी स छुटकारा मिलि गवा!” इ कहत भवा

¹²When Jesus saw her, he called her, and said to her, “Woman, you are freed from your infirmity.”

¹³ओह पइ आपन हाथ रखेस। अउर उ फउरन सीध होइ गइ। उ परमेस्सर क गुन गावइ लाग।

¹³He laid his hands on her, and immediately she stood up straight, and glorified God.

¹⁴ईसू काहेकि सबित क दिन ओका बेरामी स जरटुट किहेस, एह बरे आराधनालय क नेता किरोध मँ आइके मनइयन स कहेस, “काम करइ क बरे छ: दिन होत हीं तउ ओनही दिनम मँ आवा अउर आपन बेरामी क दूर करावा पर सबित क दिन नीरोग होइ बरे जिन आवा।”

¹⁴The ruler of the synagogue, being indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the multitude, “There are six days in which men ought to work. Therefore come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day!”

¹⁵पर्भू जवाब देत भवा ओसे कहेस, “अरे कपटियो! का तोहमाँ स हर कउनो सबित क दिन आपन बर्धा अउर गदहा क बारा स निकारिके कहूँ पानी पिआवइ नाहीं लइ जात ह

¹⁵Therefore the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Doesn’t each one of you free his ox or his donkey from the stall on the Sabbath, and lead him away to water?

¹⁶अब इ स्त्री जउन इब्राहीम क बिटिया अहइ अउर जेका सइतान अट्ठारह बहिस स जकरिके राखे बा, का ऍका सबित क दिन ऍका बंधन स छुटकारा नाहीं देइ क चाही?”

¹⁶ Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan had bound eighteen long years, be freed from this bondage on the Sabbath day?”

¹⁷जब उ इ कहेस तउ ओकर खिलाफत करइवालन सबइ सर्माइ गएन। ओह कइँती समूची भीड़ ओकरे अचरजे स भरे कामन स जेनका उ किहे रहा, खुस होइ गइ।”

¹⁷As he said these things, all his adversaries were disappointed, and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

¹⁸तउ ईसू कहेस, “परमेस्सर क राज्य का अहइ अउर मइँ ऍकर तुलना कइसे करउँ?

¹⁸He said, “What is the Kingdom of God like? To what shall I compare it?

¹⁹उ सरसई क दाना क नाई अहइ, जेका कउनो लइके आपन बगिया मँ बोएस। उ बड़ा भवा अउर एक बृच्छ होइ गवा। फिन अकासे क चिरइयन ओकर डारी प घोंसला बनाइ लिहन।”

¹⁹ It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and put in his own garden. It grew, and became a large tree, and the birds of the sky lodged in its branches.”

²⁰उ फिन ईसू कहेस, “परमेस्सर क राज्य क बरोबरी मइँ कइसे करउँ?

²⁰ Again he said, “To what shall I compare the Kingdom of God?

²¹इ उ खमीरे क नाई अहइ जेका एक स्त्री तीन हींसा पिसान मँ सान दिहेस अउर उ समूचा पिसान खमीरे स भरि गवा।”

²¹ It is like yeast, which a woman took and hid in three measures literally, three sata. 3 sata is about 39 litres or a bit more than a bushel of flour, until it was all leavened.”

²²ईसू जब सहरन अउर गाँउन स होत भवा उपदेस देत भवा यरूसलेम जात रहा।

²²He went on his way through cities and villages, teaching, and traveling on to Jerusalem.

²³तबहीं ओसे कउनो पूछेस, “पर्भू क केवल कछू मनइयन क ही उद्धार होइ?” ईसू कहेस,

²³One said to him, “Lord, are they few who are saved?” He said to them,

²⁴“साँकर दुआरे स घुसइ क होइ सकइवाला जतन करा, काहेकि मइँ तोहका बतावत हउँ कि भीतर जाइ क जतन बहोत स करिहीं प जाइ न पइहीं।

²⁴ “Strive to enter in by the narrow door, for many, I tell you, will seek to enter in, and will not be able.

²⁵जब एक दाईं घरे क स्वामी उठिके दुआर बंद कइ देत ह, तउ तू बाहेर ही खड़ा दुआर खटखटावत कहब्या, ‘महासय, हमरे बरे खोलि द्या!’ मुला उ तोहका जवाब देइ, ‘मइँ नाहीं जानत तू कहाँ ले आवा बाट्या?’

²⁵ When once the master of the house has risen up, and has shut the door, and you begin to stand outside, and to knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ then he will answer and tell you, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’

²⁶तब तू कहइ लगब्या, ‘हम तोहर संग खावा ह, तोहर संग पिआ ह, तू हमरी गलियन मँ हमका सीख दिहा ह।’

²⁶ Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’

²⁷पर उ तोसे कही, ‘मइँ नाहीं जानत तू कहाँ स आवा अहा? अरे कुकर्मी मनइयो! मोरे लगे स पराइ जा!’

²⁷ He will say, ‘I tell you, I don’t know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity.’

²⁸जब तू इब्राहीम, इसहाक, याकूब अउर दूसर सबहीं नबियन क परमेस्सरे क राज्य मँ निहरब्या मुला तोहका बाहेर ढकेल दीन्ह जाइ। तउ हुवाँ बस रोउब अउर दाँत पीसब होई।

²⁸ There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets, in the Kingdom of God, and yourselves being thrown outside.

²⁹फिन पूरब अउर पच्छूँ, उत्तर अउर दक्खिन स मनइयन परमेस्सर क राज्य मँ आइ आइके खइया क चउकी प आपन आसन ग्रहण करिहीं।

²⁹ They will come from the east, west, north, and south, and will sit down in the Kingdom of God.

³⁰धियान रहइ कि हुवाँ जउन आखिरी अहइ पहिले होइ जइहीं अउर जउन पहिले अहइँ उ पचे आखिरी होइ जइहीं।”

³⁰ Behold, there are some who are last who will be first, and there are some who are first who will be last.”

³¹उहइ समइ ईसू क लगे कछू फरीसियन आएन अउर ओसे बोलेन, “हेरोदेस तोहका मारि डावइ चाहत ह, एह बरे हुवाँ स कहूँ अउर चला जा।”

³¹On that same day, some Pharisees came, saying to him, “Get out of here, and go away, for Herod wants to kill you.”

³²तब उ ओनसे कहेस, “जा अउर उ लोखरी स कहा, ‘मइँ मनइयन मँ स दुस्ट आतिमन क निकारब, मइँ आज ही चंगा करब अउर भियान भी। फिन तीसर दिन मइँ आपन काम पूरा करब।’

³²He said to them, “Go and tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I complete my mission.

³³फिन भी मोका आजु, भियान अउर परउँ चलत ही रहइ क अहइ। काहेकि कउनो नबियन बरे इ नीक नाहीं कि उ यरूसलेम स बाहेर प्रान तजि देइ।

³³ Nevertheless I must go on my way today and tomorrow and the next day, for it can’t be that a prophet perish outside of Jerusalem.’

³⁴“यरूसलेम अरे ओ यरूसलेम! तू नबियन क कतल करत ह अउर परमेस्सर जेका तोहरे लगे पठएस ह, ओन प पाथर बरिसावत ह। मइँ केतॅनी दाईं तोहरे मनइयन क वइसे ही आपुस मँ बटोरइ चाहा ह जइसे एक ठु मुर्गी आपन बचवन क आपन पखना तरे बटोरत ह। मुला तू नाहीं चाह्या।

³⁴ “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, like a hen gathers her own brood under her wings, and you refused!

³⁵लखा तोहरे बरे तोहार घर तोहरे लिए उजरा पड़ा अहइ। मइँ तोहका बतावत हउँ तू मोका उ समइया तलक फिन नाहीं देखब्या। जब ताईं उ समइ न आइ जाइ जब तू कहब्या, ‘धन्य अहइ उ, पर्भू क नाउँ प जउन आवत बा।’”

³⁵ Behold, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’” Psalm 118:26
