¹अब फसइ नाउँ क बे खमीरे क रोटी क त्यौहार आवइ क रहा।

¹Now the feast of unleavened bread, which is called the Passover, drew near.

²ओहॅर मुख्य याजकन अउर धरम सास्तिरियन काहेकि मनइयन स डेरात रहेन एह बरे कउनो अइसे चाल क ताक मँ रहेन जेहसे उ ईसू क मारि डावइँ।

²The chief priests and the scribes sought how they might put him to death, for they feared the people.

³फिन इस्करियोति कहावइवाला उ यहूदा मँ, जउन उन बारहु मँ एक रहा, सइतान समाइ गवा।

³Satan entered into Judas, who was surnamed Iscariot, who was numbered with the twelve.

⁴उ मुख्ययाजकन अउर सैनिकन क लगे गवा अउर ओनसे ईसू क कइसे पकड़वाइ सकत ह, इ बारे मँ बातचीत किहेस।

⁴He went away, and talked with the chief priests and captains about how he might deliver him to them.

⁵उ सबइ बहोत खुस भएन अउर ओका ऍकरे बरे धन देइ क राजी होइ गएन।

⁵They were glad, and agreed to give him money.

⁶उ भी राजी होइ गवा अउर उ अइसे अउसरे क ताड़ मँ रहइ लाग जब भीड़-बड़ी न होइ अउर उ ईसू का ओकरे हथवा मँ धराइ देइ।

⁶He consented, and sought an opportunity to deliver him to them in the absence of the multitude.

⁷फिन बे खमीर क रोटी क उ दिन आवा जब फसह क मेमने क बलि दीन्ह जात ह।

⁷The day of unleavened bread came, on which the Passover must be sacrificed.

⁸तउ उ इ कहत भवा पतरस अउर यूहन्ना क पठएस, “जा अउर हमरे बरे फसह क भोज तइयार करा जेसे हम पचे ओका खाइ सकी।”

⁸He sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat.”

⁹उ सबइ ओसे पूछेन, “तू हम पचन स ओकर तइयारी कहाँ करावइ चाहत ह” उ ओनसे कहेस,

⁹They said to him, “Where do you want us to prepare?”

¹⁰“तू जइसे ही सहर मँ घुसब्या तोहका पानी क गगरी लइ जात भवा एक मनई मिली, ओकरे पाछे होइ जाया अउ प जउन घरे मँ उ जाइ तू भी पाछे चला जाया।

¹⁰He said to them, “Behold, when you have entered into the city, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him into the house which he enters.

¹¹अउर घरे क स्वामी स कह्या ‘गुरु, तोहसे पूछेस ह कि उ मेहमान क कमरा कहाँ बा जहाँ मइँ आपन चेलन क संग फसह क भोज क खइया क खाइ सकउँ।’

¹¹ Tell the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’

¹²फिन उ मनई सिढ़ियन क ऊपर तोहका सजा सजावा एक बड़ा कमरा देखॉई, हुवँई तइयारी कर्या।”

¹² He will show you a large, furnished upper room. Make preparations there.”

¹³उ पचे चल पड़ेन अउर वइसा ही पाएन जइसा उ ओनका बताए रहे। फिन उ पचे फसह क भोज क तइयार किहेन।

¹³They went, found things as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.

¹⁴फिन उ घड़ी आइ तब ईसू खाइ बरे बइठा अउर प्रेरितन ओनके साथ बइठेन।

¹⁴When the hour had come, he sat down with the twelve apostles.

¹⁵उ ओनसे कहेस, “यातना झेलइ स पहिले इ फसह क भोज संग करइ क मोर प्रबल इच्छा रही।

¹⁵He said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer,

¹⁶काहेकि मइँ तोहसे कहत हउँ कि जब तलक परमेस्सर क राज्य मँ फसह क भोज का पूरा मतलब न समझ लिया तब तलक मइँ ऍका दूसरी दाई न खाब।”

¹⁶ for I tell you, I will no longer by any means eat of it until it is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God.”

¹⁷फिन उ खोरा उठाइके धन्यबाद दिहेस अउर कहेस, “ल्या ऍका आपुस मँ बाँटि ल्या।

¹⁷He received a cup, and when he had given thanks, he said, “Take this, and share it among yourselves,

¹⁸काहेकि मइँ तोहसे कहत हउँ आजु क पाछे जब ताई परमेस्सर क राज्य नाहीं आइ जात मइँ कइसी भी दाखरस कबहुँ न पिअब।”

¹⁸ for I tell you, I will not drink at all again from the fruit of the vine, until the Kingdom of God comes.”

¹⁹फिन उ तनिक रोटी लिहस अउर धन्यबाद दिहस। उ रोटी का तोड़ेस अउर ओनका देत भवा कहेस, “इ मोर देह अहइ जउन तोहरे बरे दीन्ह ग अहइ। मोरे याद मँ अइसा ही कर्या।”

¹⁹He took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and gave to them, saying, “This is my body which is given for you. Do this in memory of me.”

²⁰अइसे ही जब उ पचे भोजन कइ चुकेन तउ उ खोरा उठाएस अउर कहेस, “इ दाखरस मोरे उ लहू क रूप मँ एक नवा करार क प्रतीक अहइ जउन तोहरे बरे उड़ेला गवा अहइ।”

²⁰Likewise, he took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

²¹“मुला देखा, मोका जउन धोखा स पकड़वाइ, ओकर हाथ हिअँइ मेजे प मोर संग अहइ।

²¹ But behold, the hand of him who betrays me is with me on the table.

²²काहेकि मनई क पूत तउ मारा ही जाइ जइसा कि तइ अहइ मुला धिक्कार उ मनई क अहइ जेकरे जरिए उ पकड़वाइ जाइ।”

²² The Son of Man indeed goes, as it has been determined, but woe to that man through whom he is betrayed!”

²³ऍह पइ उ आपुस मँ एक दुसरे स सवाल करइ लागेन, “ओहमाँ स उ कउन होइ सकत ह जउन अइसा करइ जात अहइ?”

²³They began to question among themselves, which of them it was who would do this thing.

²⁴फिन ओहमाँ इ बात भी उठी कि ओहमाँ स सब स बड़कवा केका समुझा जावइ

²⁴There arose also a contention among them, which of them was considered to be greatest.

²⁵मुला ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “गैर यहूदियन क राजा ओन प रुतवा राखत हीं अउर उ सबइ जउन ओन प हुकुम चलावत हीं, खुद मनइयन क ‘उपकारी’ कहवावत हीं।

²⁵He said to them, “The kings of the nations lord it over them, and those who have authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’

²⁶मुला तू वइसे नाहीं अहा तउ भी तोहमाँ स सब स बड़कावा सब ते छोटकवा जइसा होइ चाही अउर जउन राज करत ह ओका चाकर क नाईं होइ चाही।

²⁶ But not so with you. But one who is the greater among you, let him become as the younger, and one who is governing, as one who serves.

²⁷काहेकि बड़कवा कउन अहइ: उ जउन खाइ क मेज प बइठा अहइ या उ जउन परसत ह का उहइ नाहीं जउन मेज प अहइँ मुला तोहरे बीच मइँ वइसा हउँ जउन परोसत ह!

²⁷ For who is greater, one who sits at the table, or one who serves? Isn’t it he who sits at the table? But I am in the midst of you as one who serves.

²⁸मुला तू उ सबइ अहा जउन मोरी परीच्छा मँ मोर साथ दिहा ह।

²⁸ But you are those who have continued with me in my trials.

²⁹अउर मइँ तोहका वइसे ही एक राज्य देत अही जइसे मोर परमपिता ऍका मोका दिहे रहेन।

²⁹ I confer on you a kingdom, even as my Father conferred on me,

³⁰काहेकि मोरे राज्य मँ तू मोरे मेज प खा अउर पिआ अउर इस्राएल क बारहू जनजातिन क निआव करत भवा सिंहासने प बइठा।

³⁰ that you may eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom. You will sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”

³¹‘समौन, ओ समौन! सुना, तू सबन क गोहूँ क तरह फटकइ बरे सइतान चुन लिहे बा।

³¹The Lord said, “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have you, that he might sift you as wheat,

³²मुला मइँ तोहरे बरे पराथना कीन्ह ह कि जेहसे की परमेस्सर पर तोहार बिसवास खतम न होइ अउर जब तू वापस आवा तउ तोहरे भाइयन क ताकत बढ़इ।”

³² but I prayed for you, that your faith wouldn’t fail. You, when once you have turned again, establish your brothers The word for “brothers” here may be also correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.” .”

³³मुला समौन ओसे कहेस, “पर्भू, मइँ तोहरे संग जेल जाइ अउर मरइ तलक तइयार अहउँ!”

³³He said to him, “Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death!”

³⁴फिन ईसू कहेस, “पतरस मइँ तोहसे बतावत हउँ कि आजु तब तलक मुर्गा बाँग न देइ जब ताईं तू तीन दाईं मना नाहीं कइ लेब्या कि तू मोका जानत ह!”

³⁴He said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will by no means crow today until you deny that you know me three times.”

³⁵फिन ईसू आपन चेलन स कहेस, “मइँ तोहका जब वे बटुआ बे थैली या बे चप्पल क पठए रहेउँ तउ का तोहका कउनो चीजे क कमी रही?” उ पचे कहेन, “कउनो चीजे क नाहीं।”

³⁵He said to them, “When I sent you out without purse, and wallet, and shoes, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.”

³⁶उ ओनसे कहेस, “मुला अब जउन कउनो क लगे भी कउनो बटुआ अहइ, उ ओका लइ लेइ अउर थैला भी लइ लेइ अउर उ थैला क भी लइके चलइ। जेकरे लगे तरवार न होइ, उ आपन चोगा तलक बेंचिके ओका बेसहि लेइ।

³⁶Then he said to them, “But now, whoever has a purse, let him take it, and likewise a wallet. Whoever has none, let him sell his cloak, and buy a sword.

³⁷काहेकि मइँ तोहका बतावत हउँ कि पवित्तर सास्तर क इ लिखा मोह प सचमुच ही पूरा होइ जाइ: ‘उ एक अपराधी माना गवा।’ यसायाह 53:12 हाँ मोरे बारे मँ लिखी गइ इ बात पूरा होइ जाइ प आवति अहइ।”

³⁷ For I tell you that this which is written must still be fulfilled in me: ‘He was counted with transgressors.’ Isaiah 53:12 For that which concerns me has an end.”

³⁸उ सबइ कहेन, “पर्भू, देखा हिआँ दुइ तरवार अहइँ!” ऍह प ओनसे कहेस, “बस बहोत अहइ।”

³⁸They said, “Lord, behold, here are two swords.” He said to them, “That is enough.”

³⁹He came out, and went, as his custom was, to the Mount of Olives. His disciples also followed him.

⁴⁰When he was at the place, he said to them, “Pray that you don’t enter into temptation.”

⁴¹फिन उ ओनसे पाथर फेंकई क तरह पूरी दूरी तक चला गवा। फिन उ घुटना क सहारे निहुरा अउर पराथना करइ लाग,

⁴¹He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and he knelt down and prayed,

⁴²“हे परमपिता, अगर तोहार इच्छा होइ इ यातना क कटोरा मोहसे दूर हटावा मुला फिन भी नाहीं बल्कि तोहार इच्छा पूरा होई।”

⁴²saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”

⁴³तबहीं एक सरगदूत हुवाँ परगट भवा अउर ओका सक्ती देइ लाग।

⁴³An angel from heaven appeared to him, strengthening him.

⁴⁴ओहर ईसू ब्याकुल होइके बड़े आग्रह पूर्वक पराथना करइ लाग। ओकर पसीना लोहू क बूँदे क नाईं धरती पइ गिरत रहा।

⁴⁴Being in agony he prayed more earnestly. His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down on the ground.

⁴⁵अउर जब उ पराथना स उठिके आपन चेलन क लगे आवा तउ उ ओनका दुःखे मँ थकिके सोवत पावा।

⁴⁵When he rose up from his prayer, he came to the disciples, and found them sleeping because of grief,

⁴⁶तउ उ ओनसे कहेस, “तू पचे सोवत काहे अहा? उठा अउर पराथना करा कि तू कउनो परीच्छा मँ न पड़ा।”

⁴⁶and said to them, “Why do you sleep? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

⁴⁷उ अबहीं बोलत ही रहा कि एक भीड़ जमा होइ गइ। यहूदा नाउँ क एक मनई जउन बारहु मँ स एक रहा, ओनकइ अगुवई करत रहा। उ ईसू क चुम्मा लेइ ओकरे लंगे आवा।

⁴⁷While he was still speaking, behold, a multitude, and he who was called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He came near to Jesus to kiss him.

⁴⁸मुला ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “अरे यहूदा का तू एक चुम्मा स मनई क पूत क धोखा दइके पकड़वावइ जात अहा?”

⁴⁸But Jesus said to him, “Judas, do you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?”

⁴⁹जउन घटइ जात रहा, ओका लखिके ओकरे नगिचे क मनइयन कहेन, “पर्भू का हम पचे तरवारि क वार करी?”

⁴⁹When those who were around him saw what was about to happen, they said to him, “Lord, shall we strike with the sword?”

⁵⁰अउर ओहमाँ स एक तउ महायाजक क नउकर प वारि कइके ओकर दाहिन कान काट डाएस।

⁵⁰A certain one of them struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.

⁵¹मुला ईसू फउरन कहेस, “ओनका इ भी करइ द्या।” फिन ईसू ओकर कनवा छुइके चंगा किहेस।

⁵¹But Jesus answered, “Let me at least do this” —and he touched his ear, and healed him.

⁵²फिन ईसू ओह प चढ़ाई करइ आएन मुख्ययाजकन, मन्दिर क सैनिकन अउर बुजुर्ग यहूदी नेतन स कहेस, “का तू तरवारि अउर लाठिन लइके कउनो डाकू क मुकाबला करइ निकरा अहा?

⁵²Jesus said to the chief priests, captains of the temple, and elders, who had come against him, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs?

⁵³मन्दिर मँ मइँ हर दिन तोहरे ही संग रहेउँ, मुला तु मोह पइ हाथ नाहीं राख्या। मुला इ समइ तोहार अहइ-अँधियारे (पाप) क हुकुम क काल।”

⁵³ When I was with you in the temple daily, you didn’t stretch out your hands against me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.”

⁵⁴उ पचे ओका कैदी बनाइ लिहन अउर हुवाँ स लइ गएन। फिन उ सबइ ओका महायाजक क घर लइ गएन। पतरस कछू दूरी प ओकरे पाछे पाछे आवत रहा।

⁵⁴They seized him, and led him away, and brought him into the high priest’s house. But Peter followed from a distance.

⁵⁵अँगने क बीच उ पचे आगी सुलगएन अउर एक साथे खाले बैठि गएन। पतरस भी हुवँई ओनही मँ बइठा रहा।

⁵⁵When they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard, and had sat down together, Peter sat among them.

⁵⁶आगी क रोसनी मँ एक नउकरानी ओका हुवाँ बइठे लखेस। उ ओह पइ आँखी गड़ावत भइ कहेस, “इ मनई तउ ओकरे साथे भी रहा।”

⁵⁶A certain servant girl saw him as he sat in the light, and looking intently at him, said, “This man also was with him.”

⁵⁷मुला पतरस इन्कार करत भवा कहेस, “हे स्त्री, मइँ ओका नाहीं जानत हउँ।”

⁵⁷He denied Jesus, saying, “Woman, I don’t know him.”

⁵⁸तनिक दरे पाछे एक ठु दूसर मनई ओका लखेस अउर कहेस, “तू भी ओनही मँ स एक अहइ।” मुला पतरस बोला, “भल मनई, मइँ उ नाहीं हउँ।”

⁵⁸After a little while someone else saw him, and said, “You also are one of them!” But Peter answered, “Man, I am not!”

⁵⁹कउनो लगभग एक घड़ी बीत भइ होइ कि कउनो अउर भी जोर स कहइ लाग, “सचमुच ही इ मनई ओकरे संग भी रहा। काहेकि लखा उ गलील वासी भी अहइ।”

⁵⁹After about one hour passed, another confidently affirmed, saying, “Truly this man also was with him, for he is a Galilean!”

⁶⁰मुला पतरस बोला, “भल मनई, मइँ नाहीं जानता हउँ तू केकरे बारे मँ बतियात अहा!” उहइ घड़ी, उ अबहीं बातन करत ही रहा कि एक ठु मुर्गा बाँग दिहस।

⁶⁰But Peter said, “Man, I don’t know what you are talking about!” Immediately, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.

⁶¹अउर पर्भू मुड़िके पतरस पइ आँखी गड़ाएस। तबहिं पतरस क पर्भू क उ वचन याद आवा जउन उ ओसे कहे रहा: “आजु मुर्गा क बाँग देइ स पहिले मोका तीन दाई मुकरि जाब्या।”

⁶¹The Lord turned, and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the Lord’s word, how he said to him, “Before the rooster crows you will deny me three times.”

⁶²तब उ बाहेर चला गवा अउर फूटि फूटि को रोवइ लाग।

⁶²He went out, and wept bitterly.

⁶³The men who held Jesus mocked him and beat him.

⁶⁴Having blindfolded him, they struck him on the face and asked him, “Prophesy! Who is the one who struck you?”

⁶⁵उ सबइ ओका बेज्जत करइ बरे ओसे अउर भी बातन कहेन।

⁶⁵They spoke many other things against him, insulting him.

⁶⁶जबहिं दिन भवा कि मुख्ययाजकन अउर धरम सास्तिरियन संग मनइयन क बुजुर्ग नेतन क एक सभा भइ। फिन उ पचे ओका आपन महासभा मँ लइ गएन।

⁶⁶As soon as it was day, the assembly of the elders of the people was gathered together, both chief priests and scribes, and they led him away into their council, saying,

⁶⁷उ सबइ पूछेन, “हमका बतावा का तू मसीह अहा?” ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “जदि मइँ तोहसे कहउँ तउ तू मोर बिसवास नाहीं करब्या।

⁶⁷“If you are the Christ, tell us.” But he said to them, “If I tell you, you won’t believe,

⁶⁸अउर जदि मइँ पूछउँ तउ तू जवाब नाहीं देब्या।

⁶⁸ and if I ask, you will in no way answer me or let me go.

⁶⁹मुला अब स मनई क पूत सबन स सक्तीवाला परमेस्सर क दाहिन कइँती बइठाइ जाइ।”

⁶⁹ From now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.”

⁷⁰उ पचे बोलेन, “तब तउ का तू परमेस्सर क पूत अहा?” उ कहेस, “हाँ, मइँ हउँ।”

⁷⁰They all said, “Are you then the Son of God?” He said to them, “You say it, because I am.”

⁷¹फिन उ पचे कहेन, “अब हमका कउनो अउर प्रमाण क जरूरत नाहीं अहइ? हम पचे खुद एकरे आपन मुँहना स इ सुन तउ लिहा ह।”

⁷¹They said, “Why do we need any more witness? For we ourselves have heard from his own mouth!”
