¹“सरगे क राज्य एक जमीदार क नाईं बाटइ जउन भिन्सारे आपन अंगूरे क बगीचा बरे मजदूर लइ आवइ निकरा।

¹ “For the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who was the master of a household, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.

²उ चाँदी क एक रुपया प मजदूर क लगाइके ओनके आपन अंगुरे क बगिया मँ काम करइ पठएस।

² When he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius A denarius is a silver Roman coin worth 1/25th of a Roman aureus. This was a common wage for a day of farm labor. a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

³“नौ बजे क करीब जमींदार फिन घरवा स निकरा अउर उ देखेस कि कछू मनई बजारे मँ ऍहर ओहर अइसे ही बेकार खड़ा रहेन।

³ He went out about the third hour, Time was measured from sunrise to sunset, so the third hour would be about 9:00 AM. and saw others standing idle in the marketplace.

⁴तब उ ओनसे कहेस, ‘तू पचे भी मोरे अंगूरे क बगीचा मँ जा, मइँ तोहका जउन कछू ठीक अहइ, देब।’

⁴ To them he said, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.’ So they went their way.

⁵तउ उ पचे भी बगीचा मँ काम करइ गएन। “फिन करीब बारह बजे अउर दुबारा तीन बजे क करीब, उ वइसा ही किहेस।

⁵ Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, noon and 3:00 P. M. and did likewise.

⁶करीब पाँच बजे उ फिन आपन घरवा स गवा अउर कछू मनइयन क बजारे मँ ऍह कइँती ओह कइँती खड़ा देखेस। उ ओनसे पूछेस, ‘तू हियाँ दिन भइ बेकार ही काहे खड़ा होइ रह्या?’

⁶ About the eleventh hour 5:00 PM he went out, and found others standing idle. He said to them, ‘Why do you stand here all day idle?’

⁷“उ सबइ ओसे कहेन, ‘काहेकि हम सबन क कउनो मजूरी प नाहीं राखेस।’ “उ ओनसे कहेस, ‘तू भी मोरे अंगूर क बगीचा मँ चला जा।’

⁷ “They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ “He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and you will receive whatever is right.’

⁸“जब साँझ भइ तउ अंगूर क बगीचा क मालिक आपन प्रधान करमचारी क कहेस, ‘मजूरन क बोलाइके अखिरी मजूरे स सुरू कइके जउन पहिले लगावा ग रहेन ओन सबन क मजूरी दइ द्या।’

⁸ When evening had come, the lord of the vineyard said to his manager, ‘Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning from the last to the first.’

⁹‘तउ उ पचे जउन पाँच बजे लगावा रहेन, आएन अउ ओहमाँ स हर एक क बस एक ही चाँदी क रूपया मिला।

⁹ “When those who were hired at about the eleventh hour came, they each received a denarius.

¹⁰फिन जउन पहिले लगावा ग रहेन, उ आएन। उ सोचेन ओनका कछू जियादा मिली मुला ओनमा हर कउनो क एक ठु चाँदी क रूपया मिला।

¹⁰ When the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise each received a denarius.

¹¹रूपया तउ उ सबइ लइ लिहन मुला जमींदारे स सिकाइत करत

¹¹ When they received it, they murmured against the master of the household,

¹²उ सबइ कहेन, ‘जउन पाछे लगावा रहेन, उ पचे बस एक ही घंटा भइ काम किहेन अउ तू हम पचेन क ओतॅना ही दिहा जेतॅना ओनका। जब कि हम पचे दिन भइ चिलचिलात धूपे मँ मेहनत कीन्ह।’

¹² saying, ‘These last have spent one hour, and you have made them equal to us, who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat!’

¹³“उ जवाबे मँ ओहमाँ स कउनो एक स जमींदारे कहेस, ‘मीत, मइँ तोहरे साथ कउनो अनिआव नाहीं कर्‌यों ह। का हम पचे तय नाहीं कीन्ह कि मइँ तोहका चाँदी क एक ठु रूपया देब?

¹³ “But he answered one of them, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Didn’t you agree with me for a denarius?

¹⁴जउन तोहार होत ह, ल्या अउर चला जा। मइँ सबते पाछे रखा गवा इ मजदूर क ओतॅना ही मजूरी देइ चाहब जेतॅना तोहका देत अही।

¹⁴ Take that which is yours, and go your way. It is my desire to give to this last just as much as to you.

¹⁵का मोका अधिकार नाहीं कि जउन मइँ आपन धने क चाहूँ, कइ सकउँ? मइँ अच्छा हउँ का तू ऍसे मने मँ जरत ह’

¹⁵ Isn’t it lawful for me to do what I want to with what I own? Or is your eye evil, because I am good?’

¹⁶“इ तरह आखिरी पहिले होइ जइहीं अउर पहिले आखिरी होइ जइहीं।”

¹⁶ So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few are chosen.”

¹⁷जब ईसू आपन बारहु चेलन क संग यरूसलेम जात रहा तउ उ ओनका एक कइँती लइ गवा अउर चलत चलत ओनसे बोला,

¹⁷As Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside, and on the way he said to them,

¹⁸“सुना, हम यरूसलेम पहुँचइ क अही। मनई क पूत हुवाँ मुख्ययाजकन अउर धरम सास्तिरियन क हाथे मँ दइ दीन्ह जाई। उ पचे ओका मृत्युदण्ड क काबिल ठहरइहीं।

¹⁸ “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death,

¹⁹फिन ओकर हँसी हँसारत करवावइ अउर कोड़न स पिटवावइ बरे ओका गैर यहूदियन क दइ देइहीं। फिन ओका क्रूस प चढ़ाइ दीन्ह जाई। मुला तिसरे दीन उ फिन जी उठी।”

¹⁹ and will hand him over to the Gentiles to mock, to scourge, and to crucify; and the third day he will be raised up.”

²⁰फिन जब्दी क पूतन की महतारी आपन पूतन क संग ईसू क नगिचे गई अउर उ निहुरिके पराथना करत ओसे कछू माँगेस।

²⁰Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to him with her sons, kneeling and asking a certain thing of him.

²¹ईसू ओसे पूछेस, “तू का चाहति अहा?” उ बोली, “मोका बचन द्या कि मोर इ दुइनउँ बेटवन तोहरे राज्य मँ एक तोहरे दाहिन अउर दूसर तोहरे बाईं कइँती बइठँइ।”

²¹He said to her, “What do you want?” She said to him, “Command that these, my two sons, may sit, one on your right hand, and one on your left hand, in your Kingdom.”

²²ईसू जबाव दिहस, “तू नाहीं जानत अहा कि तू का माँगत बाट्या? का तू यातनाओं क कटोरा पिउ सकत अहा, जेहका मइँ पिअइवाला हउँ?” उ सबइ ओसे कहेन, “हाँ पिउ सकित ह।”

²²But Jesus answered, “You don’t know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?” They said to him, “We are able.”

²³ईसू ओनसे बोला, “तू पचे सचमुच उ पिआला पीब्या। मुला मोर दाहिन अउर बाएँ कइँती हक क देवइया मइँ नाहीं हउँ। हियाँ बइठइ क हक तउ ओनही का बा, जेनके बरे इ मोर परमपिता क जारिये रक्खा गवा अहइ।”

²³He said to them, “You will indeed drink my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with, but to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it is for whom it has been prepared by my Father.”

²⁴जब बाकी दसउ चेलन इ सुनेन कि तउ उ पचे दुइनउँ भाइयन प बहोत कोहाय गएन।

²⁴When the ten heard it, they were indignant with the two brothers.

²⁵तब्बइ ईसू ओनका आपन नगिचे बोलाइके कहेस, “तू जानत ह कि गैर यहूदियन राजा, प्रजा प आपन सक्ती देखावा चाहत हीं अउर ओनके खास नेता, मनइयन प आपन हक जमावा चाहत हीं।

²⁵But Jesus summoned them, and said, “You know that the rulers of the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.

²⁶मुला तोहरे बीच अइसा न होइ चाही। मुला तो हम स जउन बड़वार बनब चाही, तोहार नउकर बनइ।

²⁶ It shall not be so among you, but whoever desires to become great among you shall be TR reads “let him be” instead of “shall be” your servant.

²⁷अउ तोहमाँ जउन कउनो पहिला बनब चाही, ओका तोहार गुलाम जरूर बनइ क होई।

²⁷ Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant,

²⁸तोहका मनई क पूत जइसा होइ क चाही जउन आपन सेवा करावइ नाहीं, मुला सेवा करइ अउर बहोतन क छुटौती बरे आपन प्रान क फिरौती देइ आवा अहइ।”

²⁸ even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

²⁹जब उ सबई यरीहो सहर स जात रहेन भारी भीड़ ईसू क पाछे होइ गइ।

²⁹As they went out from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.

³⁰हुवाँ सरक क किनारे दुइ आँधर बइठा रहेन। जब उ सबइ सुनेन कि ईसू हुवाँ स जात बाटइ, उ पचे नरियानेन, “पर्भू, दाऊद क पूत! हम प दाया कर!”

³⁰Behold, two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, “Lord, have mercy on us, you son of David!”

³¹ऍह प भीड़ ओनका धमकावत चुप रहइ क कहेस। पर उ पचे अउ जिआदा चिल्लानेन, “पर्भू, दाऊद क पूत। हम प दाया कर।”

³¹The multitude rebuked them, telling them that they should be quiet, but they cried out even more, “Lord, have mercy on us, you son of David!”

³²फिन ईसू रूकि गवा अउ ओनका बोलाएस। उ कहेस, “तू का चाहत अहा, मइँ तोहरे बरे का करउँ?”

³²Jesus stood still, and called them, and asked, “What do you want me to do for you?”

³³उ पचे ओसे कहेन, “पर्भू, हम चाहित ह कि फिन स निहारइ लागी।”

³³They told him, “Lord, that our eyes may be opened.”

³⁴ईसू क ओन प दाया आइ। उ ओनकइ अँखियन क छुएस, अउर तुरंतहि उ पचे फिन लखइ लागेन। उ पचे ओकरे पाछे होइ गएन।

³⁴Jesus, being moved with compassion, touched their eyes; and immediately their eyes received their sight, and they followed him.
