¹ईसू जबहिं पर्वते स खाली उतरा तउ बहोत बड़ी मनइयन क भीड़ ओकरे पाछे होइ चली।

¹When he came down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.

²हुँवई एक कोढ़ी भी रहा। उ ईसू क लगे आइ अउर निहुरिके बोला, “पर्भू, जदि तू चाहा तउ मोका चंगा कइ सकत ह।”

²Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean.”

³ऍह प ईसू आपन हथवा बढ़ाइके कोढ़ी क छुएस अउर कहेस, “मइँ चाहत हउँ; चंगा होइ जा!” अउर फउरन कोढ़ी क कोढ़ पराइ गवा।

³Jesus stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be made clean.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

⁴फिन ईसू ओसे कहेस, “देखा ऍकरे बारे मँ कउनो स कछू जिन कह्या। मुला याजक क लगे जाइके ओका आपन क देखावा। फिन मुसा क हुकुम क मुताबिक भेंट चढ़ावा जैसे लोगन्क तोहरे चंगा होइ क साच्छी मिलि जाइ।”

⁴Jesus said to him, “See that you tell nobody, but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

⁵फिन ईसू जब कफरनहूम गवा, तउ एक फऊजी नायक ओकरे नगिचे आवा अउर ओसे मदद बरे बिनती करत बोला,

⁵When he came into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking him,

⁶“पर्भू, मोर एक सेवक मोरे घरवाँ मँ बिछउना प ओलरा बाटइ। ओका लकवा मारे बाटइ। ओका बहोत दर्द होत अहइ।”

⁶and saying, “Lord, my servant lies in the house paralyzed, grievously tormented.”

⁷तबहिं ईसू फऊजी नायक स कहेस, “मइँ आइके ओका चंगा करिहउँ।”

⁷Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”

⁸फऊजी नायक जवाब दिहेस, “पर्भू, मइँ इ जोग्ग नाहीं हउँ कि तू मोरे घर मँ आवा। यह बरे हुकुम दइ द्या। बस मोर नउकर चंगा होइ जाई।

⁸The centurion answered, “Lord, I’m not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.

⁹इ मइँ जानत हउँ कि मइँ एक बड़का अधिकारी क नीचे काम करत अहउँ अउर मोरे नीचे दूसर सिपाही अहइँ। जबहि मइँ एक ठु सिपाही स कहत हउँ, ‘जा’ तउ उ चला जात ह अउर दूसर सिपाही स कहत हउँ, ‘आ’ तउ उ आइ जात ह। मइँ आपन सेवक स कहत हउँ, ‘इ करा’ तउ उ ओका करत ह।”

⁹For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and tell another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and tell my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

¹⁰जब ईसू इ सुनेस तउ उ अचरजे मँ पड़ि गवा। जउन मनइयन ओकरे पाछे पाछे आवत रहेन ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “मइँ तोहसे सच कहत हउँ मइँ ऍतना गहरा बिसवास इस्राएल मँ भी कउनो मँ नाहीं पाएउँ।

¹⁰When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to those who followed, “Most certainly I tell you, I haven’t found so great a faith, not even in Israel.

¹¹मइँ तोहका इ अउ बतावत हउँ कि बहोत स पूरब अउर पच्छिम स अइहीं अउर उ सबइ भोजे मँ इब्राहीम, इसहाक अउर याकूब क संग सरगे क राज्य मँ आपन आपन ठउन प बैठ जइहीं।

¹¹ I tell you that many will come from the east and the west, and will sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven,

¹²मुला राज्य क आदिम प्रजा बाहेर अँाधियारे मँ ढकेल दीन्ह जाई जहाँ उ पचे चिचियाइके नरियाइके दाँत पीसत रइहीं।”

¹² but the children of the Kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

¹³तब ईसू उ फउजी नायक स कहेस, “जा वइसा ही तोहरे बरे होइ जइसा तोहार बिसवास अहइ।” अउर ओकर नउकर फउरन चंगा होइ गवा।

¹³Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way. Let it be done for you as you have believed.” His servant was healed in that hour.

¹⁴जब ईसू पतरस क घरे पहुँच गवा, उ ओकरे सास क बुखार स दुःखी बिछउना प ओलरी देखेस।

¹⁴When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother lying sick with a fever.

¹⁵तब ईसू ओका आपन हथवा स छुएस अउर ओकर बुखार उतर गवा। फिन उ उठी अउर ईसू क सेवा करय लाग।

¹⁵He touched her hand, and the fever left her. She got up and served him. TR reads “them” instead of “him”

¹⁶जइसे साँझ होइ गइ तउ लोग ओकरे नगिचे बहोतन मनइयन क लइ आएन जेहमाँ दुस्ट आतिमन रहत रहीं। आपन एक ही हुकुम स उ दुस्ट आतिमन क निकारि दिहस। इ तरह स उ सबइ बेरमियन क नीक कइ दिहस।

¹⁶When evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick;

¹⁷इ यह बरे भवा कि परमेस्सर नबी यसायाह स जउन कछू कहेस, उ पूरा होइ जाइ: “उ हमरे बेरमियन क लइ लिहस अउर हमरे संतापे क ओढ़ लिहस।” यसायाह 53:4

¹⁷that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.” Isaiah 53:4

¹⁸जब ईसू आपन चारिहुँ कइँती भीड़ देखेस तउ उ आपन चेलन क हुकुम दिहेस कि उ सबइ झिलिया क ओह पार किनारे चलइँ।

¹⁸Now when Jesus saw great multitudes around him, he gave the order to depart to the other side.

¹⁹तब एक धरम सास्तरी ईसू क निअरे आवा अउर कहेस, “गुरु, जहँ तहँ तू जाब्या, मइँ तोहरे पाछे चलब।”

¹⁹A scribe came, and said to him, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”

²⁰ऍह प ईसू ओसे कहेस, “लोखरी क बिल अउर अकास क पंछीयन क घोंसला होत हीं मुला मनई क पूत क लगे मूँड़ टेकावइ क कउनो ठउर नाहीं।”

²⁰Jesus said to him, “The foxes have holes, and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”

²¹ओकर चेलन मँ स एक ठु ईसू स कहेस, “पर्भू, मोका पहिले जाइके आपन पिता क गाड़इ क हुकुम द्या।”

²¹Another of his disciples said to him, “Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father.”

²²मुला ईसू ओसे कहेस, “मोरे पाछे चला आवा अउर मरा भवा मुर्दन क आपन खुद गाड़इ द्या।”

²²But Jesus said to him, “Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.”

²³तब ईसू एक नाउ प बइठि गवा। ओकर चेलन भी पाछे पाछे गएन।

²³When he got into a boat, his disciples followed him.

²⁴उहइ समइया झील मँ ऍतना भयंकर तूफान उठि गवा कि नाउ लहरन स दबी जात रही पर ईसू सोवत रहा।

²⁴Behold, a violent storm came up on the sea, so much that the boat was covered with the waves, but he was asleep.

²⁵तबहिं ओकर चेलन ओकरे लगे पहुँचेन अउर ओका जगाइके कहेन, “पर्भू, हमार रच्छा करा। हम पचे मरि जाब।”

²⁵They came to him, and woke him up, saying, “Save us, Lord! We are dying!”

²⁶तबहिं ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “अरे कम बिसवास करइवालो। तू पचे काहे ऍतना भयभीत अहा?” तब उ खड़ा होइके तूफान अउर झिलिया क डाटेस अउर चारिहुँ कइँती सांति छाइ गइ।

²⁶He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.

²⁷मनइयन अचरजे मँ पड़ि गएन। उ सबइ कहेन, “इ कइसा मनई बाटइ? अँधड़ तूफान अउर झिलिया तक ऍकर बतिया मानत हीं!”

²⁷The men marveled, saying, “What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

²⁸जब ईसू झील क उ पार, गदरेनियोन क देस पहुँच गवा, तउ ओका कब्रे स निकरि के दुइ मनई आवत भए मिलेन, जेहमाँ दुस्ट आतिमन रहिन। उ पचे ऍतना खोफनाक रहेन कि उ रस्ता स कउनो निकरि तक नाहीं सकत रहा।

²⁸When he came to the other side, into the country of the Gergesenes, NU reads “Gadarenes” two people possessed by demons met him there, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that nobody could pass that way.

²⁹उ पचे चिचियानेन, “हे परमेस्सर क पूत! तू मोसे का चाहत बाट्या? का तू हियाँ ठीक समइ स पहिले हमका दंड देइ आइ अहा?”

²⁹Behold, they cried out, saying, “What do we have to do with you, Jesus, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”

³⁰हुवाँ तनिक दूरी प बहोत स सुअरन क झुँड चरत रहा।

³⁰Now there was a herd of many pigs feeding far away from them.

³¹तउ उ दुस्ट आतिमन ओसे बिनती करत भए कहेन, “जदि तोहका हम पचन क बाहेर निकारब ही बाटइ, तउ हमका सुअरन क झुंडे मँ पठइ द्या।”

³¹The demons begged him, saying, “If you cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of pigs.”

³²तउ ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “चला जा!” तब उ सबइ ओन मनइयन मँ स बाहेर निकरि आइन अउर सुअरन मँ घुसि गइन। फिन समूचा झुंड ढलाने स लुढ़कत पुढ़कत पराइके ढालू किनारे स झिलिया मँ गिरि गवा अउ सबहिं सुअरन पानी मँ बूड़िके मर गएन।

³²He said to them, “Go!” They came out, and went into the herd of pigs: and behold, the whole herd of pigs rushed down the cliff into the sea, and died in the water.

³³सुअरन क झुंड क रखवालन भागत भागत हुआँ स सहर आएन अउर सुअरन क साथ तथा दुस्ट आतिमन स ग्रस्त ओन मनइयन क साथ जउन कछू भवा, कहिके सुनाएन।

³³Those who fed them fled, and went away into the city, and told everything, including what happened to those who were possessed with demons.

³⁴फिन तउ सहर क सबइ मनइयन ईसू स भेंटइ बरे निकर पड़ेन। जब उ पचे ईसू क देखेन तउ ओसे बिनती किहेन कि उ ओनके हियाँ स कहुँ अउर ठउर चला जाइ।

³⁴Behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus. When they saw him, they begged that he would depart from their borders.
