1Hauçu da çuetaric cembeit, eguitecoric duenean berce baten contra, iugemendutara ioaitera iniustoén aitzinera, eta ez sainduén aitzinera?
1Dare any one of you, having a matter against another, prosecute his suit before the unjust, and not before the saints?
2Eztaquiçue ecen sainduéc mundua iugeaturen dutela? eta baldin çueçaz mundua iugeaturen bada, indigne çarete gauça chipienén iugeatzeco?
2Do ye not then know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world is judged by you, are ye unworthy of [the] smallest judgments?
3Eztaquiçue ecen Aingueruäc iugeaturen ditugula? cembatez areago vicitze hunetaco gauçac?
3Do ye not know that we shall judge angels? and not then matters of this life?
4Halacotz bada baldin vicitze hunetaco gaucéz gorteac badituçue, Eliçán estima chipitacoen diradenac eçar itzaçue iar-lekuan.
4If then ye have judgments as to things of this life, set those [to judge] who are little esteemed in the assembly.
5Çuen ahalquetan, haur erraiten drauçuet. Horrela da çuen artean çuhurric eztén, ez are bat, bere anayén artean iugea ahal deçaquenic?
5I speak to you [to put you] to shame. Thus there is not a wise person among you, not even one, who shall be able to decide between his brethren!
6Baina anayeac anayearen contra auci du, eta are infidelén aitzinean.
6But brother prosecutes his suit with brother, and that before unbelievers.
7Ia segur guciz falta da çuetan, ceren auci baituçue ceurón artean: ceren eztuçue lehen iniuria suffritzen? ceren eztuçue lehen calte recebitzen?
7Already indeed then it is altogether a fault in you that ye have suits between yourselves. Why do ye not rather suffer wrong? why are ye not rather defrauded?
8Baina çuec iniuria eguiten duçue eta calte: eta are anayey.
8But *ye* do wrong, and defraud, and this [your] brethren.
9Ala eztaquiçue ecen iniustoéc eztutela Iaincoaren resumá heretaturen?
9Do ye not know that unrighteous [persons] shall not inherit [the] kingdom of God? Do not err: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who make women of themselves, nor who abuse themselves with men,
10Etzaiteztela engana, ez paillartéc, ez idolatréc, ez adulteroéc, ez malguèc, ez bugréc, ez ohoinéc, ez auaritiosoéc, ez hordiéc, ez gaitzerrailéc, ez harrapariéc, eztute Iaincoaren resumá heretaturen.
10nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor abusive persons, nor [the] rapacious, shall inherit [the] kingdom of God.
11Eta halaco gauça cinetén batzu: baina ikuci çarete, baina sanctificatu çarete, baina iustificatu çarete, Iesus Iaunaren icenean, eta gure Iaincoaren Spirituaz.
11And these things were some of you; but ye have been washed, but ye have been sanctified, but ye have been justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
12Gauça guciac permettitzen çaizquit, baina guciac eztirade probetchutaco: gauça guciac permettitzen çaizquit, baina ni eznaiz deusen botherearen suiectioneraco.
12All things are lawful to me, but all things do not profit; all things are lawful to me, but *I* will not be brought under the power of any.
13Viandác sabelaren, eta sabela viandén: baina Iaincoac haur eta hec deseguinen ditu: baina gorputza ezta paillardiçataco, baina Iaunarendaco, eta Iauna gorputzarendaco.
13Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats; but God will bring to nothing both it and them: but the body [is] not for fornication, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
14Eta Iaincoac gure Iauna-ere resuscitatu du, eta gu-ere resuscitaturen gaitu bere bothereaz.
14And God has both raised up the Lord, and will raise us up from among [the dead] by his power.
15Eztaquiçue ecen çuen gorputzac Christen membro diradela? edequiric beraz Christen membroac paillarda baten membro eguinen ditut? Guertha eztadila.
15Do ye not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then, taking the members of the Christ, make [them] members of a harlot? Far be the thought.
16Ala eztaquiçue ecen paillarda bati iunctatzen çayona, gorputzbat harequin eguiten dela? Ecen eguinen dirade, dio, biga haraguibat.
16Do ye not know that he [that is] joined to the harlot is one body? for the two, he says, shall be one flesh.
17Baina Iaunari iunctatzen çayona, spiritubat da.
17But he that [is] joined to the Lord is one Spirit.
18Ihes eguioçue paillardiçari: ecen guiçonac daguian bekatu gucia gorputzetic campoan da, baina paillardiça eguiten duenac, bere gorputz proprira bekatu eguiten du.
18Flee fornication. Every sin which a man may practise is without the body, but he that commits fornication sins against his own body.
19Ala eztaquiçue ecen çuen gorputza temple dela çuetan den Spiritu sainduaren, cein baituçue Iaincoaganic, eta etzaretela ceuron buruèn?
19Do ye not know that your body is [the] temple of the Holy Spirit which [is] in you, which ye have of God; and ye are not your own?
20Ecen erossiac çarete precioz: glorifica eçaçue bada Iaincoa çuen gorputzean, eta çuen spirituan, cein baitirade Iaincoarenac.
20for ye have been bought with a price: glorify now then God in your body.
