Darby's Translation

Romans

10

1Anayeác, ene bihotzeco affectione ona eta Iaincoagana Israelgatic eguiten dudan othoitzá da salua ditecen.
1Brethren, the delight of my own heart and my supplication which [I address] to God for them is for salvation.
2Ecen testimoniage ekarten drauet, nola Iaincoaren zeloa badutén, baina ez scientiaren araura.
2For I bear them witness that they have zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
3Ecen Iaincoaren iustitiá eçagutzen eztutelaric, eta bere iustitia fundatu nahiz dabiltzalaric, Iaincoaren iustitiari etzaizca susmettitu.
3For they, being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own [righteousness], have not submitted to the righteousness of God.
4Ecen Leguearen fina Christ da, sinhesten duen guciaren iustitiatan.
4For Christ is [the] end of law for righteousness to every one that believes.
5Ecen Moysesec-ere scribatzen du Leguetic den iustitiáz, Ecen gauça hec eguinen dituen guiçona, heçaz vicico dela.
5For Moses lays down in writing the righteousness which is of the law, The man who has practised those things shall live by them.
6Baina fedez den iustitiác, hunela erraiten du, Ezterrála eure bihotzean, Nor iganen da cerura? hori duc Christen garaitic erekartea.
6But the righteousness of faith speaks thus: Do not say in thine heart, Who shall ascend to the heavens? that is, to bring Christ down;
7Edo, nor iautsiren da abysmera? hori duc Christen hiletaric harçara erekartea.
7or, Who shall descend into the abyss? that is, to bring up Christ from among [the] dead.
8Baina cer erraiten du? Hire hurbil duc hitza hire ahoan eta hire bihotzean. Haur da fedeazco hitz predicatzen duguna.
8But what says it? The word is near thee, in thy mouth and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach:
9Ecen baldin confessa badeçac eure ahoz Iesus Iauna, eta eure bihotzean sinhets badeçac, ecen Iaincoac hura hiletaric resuscitatu duela, saluaturen aiz.
9that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from among [the] dead, thou shalt be saved.
10Ecen bihotzez sinhesten da iustificatu içateco, eta ahoz confssione eguiten saluatu içateco.
10For with [the] heart is believed to righteousness; and with [the] mouth confession made to salvation.
11Ecen erraiten du Scripturác, Nor-ere baita hura baithan sinhesten duena, ezta confus içanen.
11For the scripture says, No one believing on him shall be ashamed.
12Ecen ezta differentiaric Iuduaren eta Grecoaren artean: ecen gucién Iaun bera da abrats, hura inuocatzen duten gucietara.
12For there is no difference of Jew and Greek; for the same Lord of all [is] rich towards all that call upon him.
13Ecen norere baita Iaunaren icena inuocaturen duena, saluaturen da.
13For every one whosoever, who shall call on the name of the Lord, shall be saved.
14Nolatan bada inuocaturen duté hura baithan sinhetsi vkan eztutenéc: eta nolatan sinhetsiren duté harçaz ençun vkan eztutenéc? eta nolatan ençunen duté predicaçaleric gabe?
14How then shall they call upon him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe on him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without one who preaches?
15Eta nolatan predicaturen duté baldin igor ezpaditez? scribatua den beçala, O cein eder diraden baquea euangelizatzen dutenén oinac, gauça onac euangelizatzen dituztenenac!
15and how shall they preach unless they have been sent? according as it is written, How beautiful the feet of them that announce glad tidings of peace, of them that announce glad tidings of good things!
16Baina guciac etzaizquio behatu içan Euangelioari, ecen Esaiasec erraiten du, Iauna, norc sinhetsi du gure predicationea?
16But they have not all obeyed the glad tidings. For Esaias says, Lord, who has believed our report?
17Beraz fedea ençutetic da: eta ençutea Iaincoaren hitzaz.
17So faith then [is] by a report, but the report by God's word.
18Baina galdez nago, ala eztute ençun vkan? Bainaitzitic lur orotara ilki içan da hayen soinuä, eta munduaren bazterretarano hayén hitzac.
18But I say, Have they not heard? Yea, surely, Their voice has gone out into all the earth, and their words to the extremities of the habitable world.
19Baina galdez nago, ala Israelec eztu Iaincoa eçagutu vkan? Lehenic Moysesec erraiten du, Nic ielosgoatara prouocaturen çaituztét gende gende-eztenaz, gende adimendu gabe batez asserre eraciren çaituztét.
19But I say, Has not Israel known? First, Moses says, *I* will provoke you to jealousy through [them that are] not a nation: through a nation without understanding I will anger you.
20Eta Esaiasec hardieça hartzen du, eta erraiten, Eriden içan naiz bilhatzen eznindutenéz, eta claroqui aguertu içan natzaye ene galderic eguiten etzuteney.
20But Esaias is very bold, and says, I have been found by those not seeking me; I have become manifest to those not inquiring after me.
21Baina Israelez den becembatean erraiten du, Egun gucian hedatu vkan ditut neure escuac populu desobedientagana eta contrastatzen denagana.
21But unto Israel he says, All the day long I have stretched out my hands unto a people disobeying and opposing.
