¹Ug si David nga hari miingon sa tibook nga katilingban: Si Salomon nga akong anak nga lalake, nga mao lamang ang gipili sa Dios, batan-on ug linghod pa, ug ang bulohaton daku; kay ang palacio dili alang sa tawo kondili alang kang Jehova nga Dios.

¹Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.

²Karon giandam ko uban sa bug-os ko nga kagahum alang sa balay sa akong Dios ang bulawan alang sa mga butang nga bulawan, ug ang salapi alang sa mga butang nga salapi, ug ang tumbaga alang sa mga butang nga tumbaga, ang puthaw alang sa mga butang nga puthaw, ug ang kahoy alang sa mga butang nga kahoy; mga bato nga onyx, ug mga bato nga igpapahamutang, mga bato nga igabutang sa inggasti, ug sa nagkalainlaing bulok, ug tanang nagkalainlaing mga bililhong bato, ug mga batong marmol sa pagkadaghan.

²Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of divers colors, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.

³Labut pa usab, tungod kay gibutang ko ang akong gugma sa balay sa akong Dios, sanglit ako may usa ka bahandi nga akong kaugalingon, nga bulawan ug salapi, gihatag ko kini sa balay sa akong Dios, ibabaw ug labaw sa tanan nga akong giandam alang sa balaang balay;

³Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house.

⁴Bisan sa totolo ka libo ka talento sa bulawan, sa bulawan sa Opir, ug pito ka libo ka talento sa inulay nga salapi, nga uban niini pagahal-opan ang mga bongbong sa mga balay;

⁴Even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses withal:

⁵Bulawan alang sa mga butang nga bulawan, ug salapi alang sa mga butang nga salapi, ug alang sa tanang nagkalainlaing paagi sa buhat nga pagahimoon sa mga kamot sa mga magbubuhat. Busa kinsa ang magahalad sa kinabubut-on nga magahatag sa iyang kaugalingon niining adlawa kang Jehova?

⁵The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?

⁶Unya ang mga principe sa mga balay sa mga amahan, ug ang mga principe sa mga banay sa Israel, ug ang mga capitan sa mga linibo ug sa ginatus uban sa mga magbubuot sa bulohaton sa hari, nanaghalad sa kinabubut-on;

⁶Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king's work, offered willingly,

⁷Ug sila minghatag alang sa pag-alagad sa balay sa Dios sa lima ka libo ka talento nga bulawan, ug napulo ka libong mga dracma; ug sa salapi napulo ka libo ka talento, ug sa tumbaga napulo ug walo ka libo ka talento, ug sa puthaw usa ka gatus ka libo ka talento.

⁷And gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.

⁸Ug kanila nga hikaplagan ang mga bililhon nga bato naghatag niana ngadto sa bahandi sa balay ni Jehova, sa ilalum sa kamot ni Jehiel ang Gersonhon.

⁸And they with whom precious stones were found gave them to the treasure of the house of the LORD, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.

⁹Unya ang katawohan nangalipay tungod niana sila nanghatag sa kinabubut-on, tungod kay uban sa usa ka hingpit nga kasingkasing sila nanghatag kang Jehova sa kinabubut-on: ug si David nga hari nalipay usab sa usa ka dakung kalipay.

⁹Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

¹⁰Tungod niini si Jehova gidayeg ni David sa atubangan sa tibook katilingban ug si David miingon: Dalayegon ikaw Oh Jehova, ang Dios sa Israel nga among amahan, sa gihapon ug sa walay katapusan.

¹⁰Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.

¹¹Imo, Oh Jehova, ang pagkadaku, ug ang gahum, ug ang himaya, ug ang pagdaug, ug ang pagkahalangdon: kay ang tanan nga anaa sa kalangitan ug ang anaa sa yuta imo ; imo man ang gingharian, Oh Jehova, ug ikaw ang gipahitaas ingon nga pangulo ibabaw sa tanan.

¹¹Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

¹²Mga pagkadato ug kadungganan nagagikan kanimo, ug ikaw nagagahum ibabaw sa tanan; ug sa imong kamot anaa ang kagahum ug kusog; ug sa imong kamot mao ang pagpadaku, ug paghatag ug kusog sa tanan.

¹²Both riches and honor come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.

¹³Busa karon, Dios namo, kami nagapasalamat kanimo, ug nagadayeg sa imong mahimayaong ngalan.

¹³Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.

¹⁴Apan kinsa man ako, ug unsa ang akong katawohan, nga kami mahimong takus sa paghalad sa kinabubut-on sa ingon niini? kay ang tanan nga butang gikan kanimo, ug sa imong kaugalingon kami naghatag kanimo.

¹⁴But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.

¹⁵Kay kami mga lumalangyaw sa imong atubangan, ug mga humalapit, sama sa tanan namong mga amahan: ang among mga adlaw sa yuta sama sa susa ka anino, ug walay pagpadayon.

¹⁵For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.

¹⁶Oh Jehova Dios namo, kining tanang butang nga among giandam aron sa pagtukod sa usa ka balay alang sa imong balaan nga ngalan nagagikan sa imong kamot, ug ang tanan imong kaugalingon.

¹⁶O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name cometh of thine hand, and is all thine own.

¹⁷Ako nahibalo usab, Dios ko, nga ikaw nagasulay sa kasingkasing, ug may pagkahimuot sa pagkatul-id. Mahitungod kanako, sa katul-id sa akong kasingkasing gihatag ko sa kinabubut-on kining tanang mga butang: ug karon nakita ko uban sa kalipay ang imong katawohan, nga ania dinhi, nanaghalad sa kinabubut-on nganha kanimo.

¹⁷I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.

¹⁸Oh Jehova, ang Dios ni Abraham, ni Isaac, ug ni Israel, among mga amahan, bantayi kini sa walay katapusan sa pagpanghunahuna sa kasingkasing sa imong katawohan, ug andama ang ilang kasingkasing nganha kanimo;

¹⁸O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:

¹⁹Ug si Salomon nga akong anak nga lalake hatagi ug usa ka kasingkasing nga hingpit, aron sa pagbantay sa imong mga sugo, sa imong mga pagpamatuod, ug sa imong kabalaoran, ug sa pagbuhat niining tanang mga butanga, ug sa pagtukod sa puloy-anan, nga alang niana ako nagaandam.

¹⁹And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.

²⁰Ug si David namulong sa tibook nga katilinghan: Karon dayega ninyo si Jehova nga inyong Dios. Ug ang tibook katilingban nanagdayeg kang Jehova, ang Dios sa ilang mga amahan, ug giduko ang ilang mga ulo, ug mingsimba sa atubangan ni Jehova, ug sa hari.

²⁰And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the LORD your God. And all the congregation blessed the LORD God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped the LORD, and the king.

²¹Ug sila nanaghalad ug mga halad kang Jehova, ug naghalad sa mga halad-nga-sinunog kang Jehova, sa pagkaugma tapus niadtong adlawa, bisan sa usa ka libo nga vaca, usa ka libo nga carnero nga lake, ug usa ka libo nga nating carnero, uban sa ilang mga halad-nga-ilimnon, ug mga halad nga daghan alang sa tibook Israel,

²¹And they sacrificed sacrifices unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings unto the LORD, on the morrow after that day, even a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel:

²²Ug nangaon ug nanginum sa atubangan ni Jehova niadtong adlawa uban sa dakung kalipay. Ug ilang gihimo si Salomon ang anak nga lalake ni David nga hari sa ikaduha nga higayon, ug gidihogan siya alang kang Jehova aron mahimong principe, ug si Sadoc aron mahimong sacerdote.

²²And did eat and drink before the LORD on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto the LORD to be the chief governor, and Zadok to be priest.

²³Unya si Salomon milingkod sa trono ni Jehova ingon nga hari ilis ni David nga iyang amahan, ug miuswag; ug ang tibook Israel nagtuman kaniya.

²³Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.

²⁴Ug ang tanang mga principe, ug ang mga tawong gamhanan, ug ang tanang mga anak nga lalake usab ni David nga hari, nagpasakup sa ilang kaugalingon kang Salomon nga hari.

²⁴And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of king David, submitted themselves unto Solomon the king.

²⁵Ug si Salomon gipadaku ni Jehova sa hilabihan gayud sa atubangan sa tibook Israel, ug mihimo kaniya sa maong pagkaharianong pagkahalangdon nga walay maingon sa bisan kinsang hari una kaniya sa Israel.

²⁵And the LORD magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed upon him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.

²⁶Karon si David ang anak nga lalake ni Isai naghari sa tibook Israel.

²⁶Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.

²⁷Ug ang kadugayon sa paghari niya sa Israel kap-atan ka tuig; pito ka tuig siya naghari didto sa Hebron, ug katloan ug tolo ka tuig naghari siya sa Jerusalem.

²⁷And the time that he reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem.

²⁸Ug siya namatay nga usa ka tigulang kaayo, puno sa mga adlaw, mga kadato, ug kadungganan: ug si Salomon iyang anak nga lalake naghari ilis kaniya.

²⁸And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honor: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.

²⁹Karon ang mga buhat ni David nga hari, ang una ug katapusan, ania karon, kini nanghisulat sa basahon sa kaagi ni Samuel nga manalagna, ug sa basahon sa kaagi ni Nathan nga manalagna, ug sa basahon sa kaagi ni Gad nga manalagna,

²⁹Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer,

³⁰Lakip ang tanan niyang paghari ug ang iyang kagahum, ug ang mga panahon nga nangagi kaniya, ug sa ibabaw sa Israel, ug sa ibabaw sa tanang mga gingharian sa mga kayutaan.

³⁰With all his reign and his might, and the times that went over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the countries.
