¹Ug si David naghimo alang kaniya ug mga balay sa ciudad ni David: ug siya nag-andam ug usa ka dapit alang sa arca sa Dios, ug naghimo alang niini ug usa ka balong-balong.

¹And he maketh for himself houses in the city of David, and prepareth a place for the ark of God, and stretcheth out for it a tent.

²Unya si David miingon: Walay bisan kinsa nga magdala sa arca sa Dios gawas sa mga Levihanon: kay kanila ang Dios nagpili aron sa pagdala sa arca sa Dios, ug sa pag-alagad kaniya sa walay katapusan.

²Then said David, `None [are] to carry the ark of God, except the Levites, for on them hath Jehovah fixed to carry the ark of God, and to serve Him — unto the age.`

³Ug gitigum ni David ang tibook Israel didto sa Jerusalem, aron sa pagdala sa arca ni Jehova ngadto sa dapit niini, nga iyang giandam alang niini.

³And David assembleth all Israel unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of Jehovah unto its place that he had prepared for it.

⁴Ug gitigum ni David sa tingub ang mga anak nga lalake ni Aaron, ug ang mga Levihanon:

⁴And David gathereth the sons of Aaron, and the Levites.

⁵Gikan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Coath si Uriel ang pangulo, ug ang iyang mga kaigsoonan nga usa ka gatus ug kaluhaan:

⁵Of sons of Kohath: Uriel the chief, and his brethren, a hundred and twenty.

⁶Gikan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Merari, si Asaia ang pangulo, ug ang iyang mga kaigsoonan duha ka gatus ug kaluhaan;

⁶Of sons of Merari: Asaiah the chief, and his brethren, two hundred and twenty.

⁷Gikan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Gerson, si Joel ang pangulo, ug ang iyang mga kaigsoonan usa ka gatus ug katloan,

⁷Of sons of Gershom: Joel the chief, and his brethren, a hundred and thirty.

⁸Gikan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Elisaphan, si Semaias ang pangulo, ug ang iyang mga kaigsoonan duha ka gatus;

⁸Of sons of Elizaphan: Shemaiah the chief, and his brethren, two hundred.

⁹Gikan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Hebron si Eliel ang pangulo, ug ang iyang mga kaigsoonan kawaloan;

⁹Of sons of Hebron: Eliel the chief, and his brethren, eighty.

¹⁰Gikan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Uzziel, si Aminadab ang pangulo, ug ang iyang mga kaigsoonan usa ka gatus napulo ug duha.

¹⁰Of sons of Uzziel: Amminadab the chief, and his brethren, a hundred and twelve.

¹¹Ug gitawag ni David si Sadoc, ug si Abiathar, ang mga sacerdote, ug sa mga Levihanon, si Uriel, si Asaias, ug si Joel, si Semeias, ug si Eliel, ug si Aminadab,

¹¹And David calleth to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, and to the Levites, to Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab,

¹²Ug miingon kanila: Kamo mao ang mga pangulo sa mga balay sa mga amahan sa mga Levihanon: magpabalaan kamo sa inyong kaugalingon kamo ug ang inyong mga kaigsoonan, aron madala ninyo ang arca ni Jehova, ang Dios sa Israel, ngadto sa dapit nga akong giandam alang niini.

¹²and saith to them, `Ye [are] heads of the fathers of the Levites; sanctify yourselves, ye and your brethren, and ye have brought up the ark of Jehovah, God of Israel, unto [the place] I have prepared for it;

¹³Tungod kay kini wala ninyo dad-a sa sinungdan, si Jehova nga atong Dios nayugot kanato, tungod kay siya wala nato pangitaa sumala sa tulomanon.

¹³because at the first [it was] not ye, Jehovah our God made a breach upon us, because we sought Him not according to the ordinance.`

¹⁴Busa ang mga sacerdote ug ang mga Levihanon nanagpabalaan sa ilang kaugalingon aron sa pagdala sa arca ni Jehova, ang Dios sa Israel.

¹⁴And the priests and the Levites sanctify themselves, to bring up the ark of Jehovah, God of Israel;

¹⁵Ug ang arca sa Dios giyayongan sa mga anak sa mga Levihanon pinaagi sa mga yayongan sa ibabaw niini ingon sa gisugo ni Moises sumala sa pulong ni Jehova.

¹⁵and sons of the Levites bear the ark of God, as Moses commanded, according to the word of Jehovah, on their shoulder, with staves, above them.

¹⁶Ug si David misulti sa pangulo sa mga Levihanon sa pagtudlo sa ilang mga kaigsoonan nga mga mag-aawit, uban sa mga tulonggon, mga tulonggon nga kinuldasan ug mga alpa ug mga piyangpiyang, nga nanaglanog sa makusog ug gipatugbaw ang tingog sa kalipay.

¹⁶And David saith to the heads of the Levites to appoint their brethren the singers, with instruments of song, psalteries, and harps, and cymbals, sounding, to lift up with the voice for joy.

¹⁷And the Levites appoint Heman son of Joel, and of his brethren, Asaph son of Berechiah, and of the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan son of Kushaiah;

¹⁸Ug uban kanila ang ilang mga kaigsoonan nga igtagurha, si Zacarias, si Ben, ug si Jaazael, ug si Simiramoth, ug si Jehiel, ug si Uni, ug si Eliab, ug si Benaias, ug si Maasias, ug si Mathithias, ug si Eliphelehu, ug si Micnias, ug si Obed-edom, ug si Jehiel, ang mga magbalantay sa pultahan.

¹⁸and with them their brethren, the seconds [in rank], Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah; and Obed-Edom and Jeiel the gatekeepers;

¹⁹Busa ang mga mag-aawit, si Heman, si Asaph, ug si Ethan, maoy natudlo , nga nanagdala sa mga piyangpiyang nga tumbaga aron sa pagpatunog nga kusog;

¹⁹and the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, with cymbals of brass to sound,

²⁰Ug si Zacharias, ug si Asiel, ug si Semiramoth, ug si Jehiel, ug si Uni, ug si Eliab, ug si Maasias, ug si Benaias, lakip ang mga tulonggon nga kinuldasan nga nahitungod kang Alamot;

²⁰and Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jeheil, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries besides virgins,

²¹Ug si Mathithias, ug si Eliphelehu, ug si Micnias, ug si Obed-edom, ug si Jeiel, ug si Azazias, lakip ang mga alpa nga dinuyogan sa Seminith, sa pagmando sa awit .

²¹and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps, on the octave, to oversee.

²²And Chenaniah, head of the Levites, [is] over the burden; he instructeth about the burden, for he [is] intelligent.

²³And Berechiah and Elkanah [are] gatekeepers for the ark.

²⁴Ug si Sebanias, ug si Josaphat, ug si Nathanael, ug si Amasias, ug si Zacharias, ug si Benaias, ug si Eliezer, mga sacerdote, nanagpatunog sa mga trompeta sa atubangan sa arca sa Dios; ug si Obed-edom ug si Jehias maoy mga magbalantay sa mga pultahan sa arca.

²⁴And Shebaniah, and Joshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer the priests, are blowing with trumpets before the ark of God; and Obed-Edom and Jehiah [are] gatekeepers for the ark.

²⁵Busa si David, ug ang mga anciano sa Israel, ug ang mga capitan sa mga linibo, ming-adto sa pagdala sa arca sa tugon ni Jehova, gikan sa balay ni Obed-edom uban sa kalipay.

²⁵And it is David, and the elders of Israel, and the heads of the thousands, who are going to bring up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah from the house of Obed-Edom with joy;

²⁶Ug nahitabo, sa diha nga ang Dios nagtabang sa mga Levihanon nga nanagdala sa arca sa tugon ni Jehova, nga sila nanaghalad ug pito ka vaca ug pito ka carnero.

²⁶and it cometh to pass, in God`s helping the Levites bearing the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, that they sacrifice seven bullocks and seven rams.

²⁷And David is wrapped in an upper robe of fine linen, and all the Levites who are bearing the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah head of the burden of the singers; and on David [is] an Ephod of linen.

²⁸Sa ingon niana gidala sa tibook Israel ang arca sa tugon ni Jehova inubanan sa pagsinggit, ug sa tingog sa corneta, ug sa mga trompeta, ug sa mga piyangpiyang, makusog ang lanog lakip ang mga tulonggon nga kinuldasan ug mga alpa.

²⁸And all Israel are bringing up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah with shouting, and with the sound of a cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, sounding with psalteries and harps,

²⁹Ug nahitabo, sa nahiabut ang arca sa tugon ni Jehova sa ciudad ni David, nga si Michal ang anak nga babaye ni Saul milantaw sa tamboanon, ug nakakita kang hari David nga nagsayaw ug nagakalipay; ug siya nagyubit kaniya sa sulod sa iyang kasingkasing.

²⁹and it cometh to pass, the ark of the covenant of Jehovah is entering in unto the city of David, and Michal daughter of Saul is looking through the window, and seeth king David dancing and playing, and despiseth him in her heart.
