¹Ug nahitabo sa katapusan sa kaluhaan ka tuig, diin natukod ni Salomon ang balay ni Jehova, ug ang iyang kaugalingong balay,

¹And it cometh to pass, at the end of twenty years, that Solomon hath built the house of Jehovah, and his own house.

²Nga ang mga ciudad nga gihatag ni Huram kang Salomon, gitukod pag-usab sila ni Salomon, ug gipapuyo didto ang mga anak sa Israel.

²As to the cities that Huram hath given to Solomon, Solomon hath built them, and there he causeth the sons of Israel to dwell.

³Ug si Salomon miadto sa Hamath-Soba, ug nakadaug batok niini.

³And Solomon goeth to Hamath-Zobah, and layeth hold upon it;

⁴Ug iyang gitukod ang Tadmor diha sa kamingawan, ug ang tanang mga ciudad nga tipiganan nga iyang gitukod sa Hamath.

⁴and he buildeth Tadmor in the wilderness, and all the cities of store that he hath built in Hamath.

⁵Iya usab nga gitukod ang Beth-horon nga sa ibabaw, ug ang Beth-horon nga sa ubos-ubos, linig-ong mga ciudad sa mga kuta, mga ganghaan, ug mga trangka:

⁵And he buildeth Beth-Horon the upper, and Beth-Horon the lower -- cities of defence, with walls, two-leaved doors, and bar --

⁶Ug ang Baalath, ug ang tanang mga ciudad nga tipiganan nga diha kang Salomon, ug ang tanang mga ciudad alang sa iyang mga carro, ug ang mga ciudad alang sa iyang mga magkakabayo, ug ang tanan nga gitinguha ni Salomon sa pagtukod alang sa iyang kahimut-an sa Jerusalem, ug sa Libano, ug sa tanang yuta nga sakup sa iyang gingharian.

⁶and Baalath, and all the cities of store that Solomon had, and all the cities of the chariot, and the cities of the horsemen, and all the desire of Solomon that he desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.

⁷Mahitungod sa tanang katawohan nga nahasalin sa mga Hetehanon, ug sa mga Amorehanon, ug sa mga Peresehanon, ug sa mga Hebehanon, ug sa mga Jebusehanon, nga dili sa Israel;

⁷All the people who are left of the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, who are not of Israel --

⁸Sa ilang mga anak nga nanghibilin kanila diha sa yuta, nga wala hutda sa mga anak sa Israel, gikan kanila gitukod ni Salomon ang usa ka pintakasi sa mga ulipon hangtud niining adlawa.

⁸of their sons who have been left after them in the land, whom the sons of Israel consumed not -- doth Solomon lift up a tribute unto this day.

⁹Apan gikan sa mga anak sa Israel si Salomon wala maghimo ug mga ulipon alang sa iyang bulohaton; apan sila mga tawo sa gubat, ug pangulo sa iyang mga capitan, ug mga magbubuot sa iyang mga carro ug sa iyang mga magkakabayo.

⁹And none of the sons of Israel hath Solomon made servants for his work, but they [are] men of war, and heads of his captains, and heads of his charioteers, and of his horsemen;

¹⁰Ug kini mao ang mga pangulong punoan ni hari Salomon, bisan duha ka gatus ug kalim-an, nga nanagbuot sa mga katawohan.

¹⁰and these [are] heads of the officers whom king Solomon hath, two hundred and fifty who are rulers among the people.

¹¹Ug gidala ni Salomon ang anak nga babaye ni Faraon gikan sa ciudad ni David ngadto sa balay nga iyang gitukod alang kaniya; kay siya miingon: Ang akong asawa dili magapuyo sa balay ni David nga hari sa Israel, kay ang mga dapit balaan, diin ginadala ang arca ni Jehova.

¹¹And the daughter of Pharaoh hath Solomon brought up from the city of David to the house that he built for her, for he said, `My wife doth not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, for they are holy unto whom hath come the ark of Jehovah.'

¹²Unya si Salomon naghalad sa mga halad-nga-sinunog kang Jehova sa ibabaw sa halaran ni Jehova, nga iyang gitukod atbang sa alagianan,

¹²Then hath Solomon caused to ascend burnt-offerings to Jehovah on the altar of Jehovah that he built before the porch,

¹³Sumala sa tulomanon sa adlaw-adlaw, sa paghalad sumala sa sugo si Moises, mahitungod sa mga adlaw nga igpapahulay, ug sa mga bag-ong bulan, ug sa mga nabatasang fiesta, nga gisaulog makatolo sa usa ka tuig, bisan sa fiesta sa tinapay nga walay levadura, ug sa fiesta sa mga semana, ug sa fiesta sa mga balong-balong.

¹³even by the matter of a day in its day, to cause to ascend according to the command of Moses, on sabbaths, and on new moons, and on appointed seasons, three times in a year -- in the feast of unleavened things, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of booths.

¹⁴Ug iyang gitudlo sumala sa tulomanon ni David nga iyang amahan, ang mga pagbanus-banus sa mga sacerdote sa ilang pag-alagad, ug ang mga Levihanon sa ilang mga katungdanan, sa pagdayeg, ug sa pag-alagad sa atubangan sa mga sacerdote, sumala sa bulohaton nga gikinahanglan sa adlaw-adlaw; ang mga magbalantay sa pultahan usab sa ilang mga pagbanus-banus sa tagsatagsa ka ganghaan: kay maoy gisugo ni David nga tawo sa Dios.

¹⁴And he establisheth, according to the ordinance of David his father, the courses of the priests over their service, and of the Levites over their charges, to praise and to minister over-against the priests, according to the matter of a day in its day, and the gatekeepers in their courses at gate and gate, for so [is] the command of David the man of God.

¹⁵Ug sila wala mopahawa sa sugo sa hari sa mga sacerdote ug sa mga Levihanon mahitungod sa bisan unsang butang, kun mahitungod sa mga bahandi.

¹⁵And they have not turned aside [from] the command of the king concerning the priests and the Levites, in reference to any matter, and to the treasures.

¹⁶Karon ang tanang bulohaton ni Salomon naandam alang sa adlaw sa pagtukod sa balay ni Jehova, ug hangtud nga kini natapus. Busa ang balay ni Jehova nahuman.

¹⁶And all the work of Solomon is prepared till the day of the foundation of the house of Jehovah, and till its completion; perfect is the house of Jehovah.

¹⁷Unya miadto si Salomon sa Esiongeber, ug sa Eloth sa baybayon diha sa yuta sa Edom.

¹⁷Then hath Solomon gone to Ezion-Geber, and unto Elath, on the border of the sea, in the land of Edom;

¹⁸Ug gipadad-an siya ni Huram sa kamot sa iyang mga alagad, mga sakayan, ug mga alagad nga nahibalo sa dagat: ug sila ming-adto uban sa mga sulogoon ni Salomon ngadto sa Ophir, ug nagdala gikan didto upat ka gatus ug kalim-an ka talento nga bulawan, ug gidala sila ngadto kang hari Salomon.

¹⁸and Huram sendeth to him, by the hand of his servants, ships and servants knowing the sea, and they go with servants of Solomon to Ophir, and take thence four hundred and fifty talents of gold, and bring in unto king Solomon.
