¹Dili ka magdawat sa balita nga bakak. Dili mo ipataral ang imong kamot uban sa dautan aron dili mahimong saksi nga bakakon.

¹`Thou dost not lift up a vain report; thou dost not put thy hand with a wicked man to be a violent witness.

²Dili ka magsunod sa usa ka panon sa katawohan sa pagbuhat ug dautan; dili ka usab magsaksi sa usa ka buruka kuyog sa usa ka panon sa katawohan aron sa pagtuis sa katarungan ;

²`Thou art not after many to evil, nor dost thou testify concerning a strife, to turn aside after many to cause [others] to turn aside;

³Ni magdapig ka sa usa ka tawong kabus mahitungod sa iyang buruka;

³and a poor man thou dost not honour in his strife.

⁴Kong hikaplagan mo ang vaca sa imong kaaway, kun ang iyang asno nga nahasalaag, dad-on mo gayud kini sa pagbalik ngadto kaniya.

⁴`When thou meetest thine enemy`s ox or his ass going astray, thou dost certainly turn it back to him;

⁵Kong makita mo ang asno sa nagadumot kanimo nga napukan sa ilalum sa iyang lulan, ug ikaw andam unta sa paghaw-as niini alang kaniya, niini: haw-asan mo gayud kini uban kaniya.

⁵when thou seest the ass of him who is hating thee crouching under its burden, then thou hast ceased from leaving [it] to it — thou dost certainly leave [it] with him.

⁶Dili mo pagtuison ang katarungan nga iya sa imong kabus sa iyang buruka.

⁶`Thou dost not turn aside the judgment of thy needy one in his strife;

⁷Magpahilayo ka sa mga buruka nga malimbongon, ug dili ka magpatay sa walay sala ug sa matarung; kay dili ko pagapaka-matarungon ang dautan.

⁷from a false matter thou dost keep far off, and an innocent and righteous man thou dost not slay; for I do not justify a wicked man.

⁸Dili ka magdawat ug hiphip, kay ang hiphip nagabuta sa mga adunay igtatan-aw, ug nagtuis sa mga pulong sa matarung.

⁸`And a bribe thou dost not take; for the bribe bindeth the open-[eyed], and perverteth the words of the righteous.

⁹Ug dili mo lupigan ang dumuloong: kay kamo nanghibalo kong unsa ang kasingkasing sa dumuloong, kay nagdumuloong na kamo sa yuta sa Egipto.

⁹`And a sojourner thou dost not oppress, and ye — ye have known the soul of the sojourner, for sojourners ye have been in the land of Egypt.

¹⁰Ug sa unom ka tuig magapugas ka sa imong yuta, ug magatigum ka sa mga abut niana:

¹⁰`And six years thou dost sow thy land, and hast gathered its increase;

¹¹Apan sa ikapito ka tuig pagabiyaan mo kini nga walay pugas ug pasagdan mo, aron managpangaon ang mga kabus sa imong katawohan; ug unsa ang igabilin nila pagakan-on sa kahayupan sa kapatagan; mao kini ang pagabuhaton mo sa imong parrasan, ug sa imong olivahan.

¹¹and the seventh thou dost release it, and hast left it, and the needy of thy people have eaten, and their leaving doth the beast of the field eat; so dost thou to thy vineyard — to thine olive-yard.

¹²Unom ka adlaw pagabuhaton mo ang imong mga bulohaton, ug sa ikapito ka adlaw mopahulay ikaw; aron makapahulay ang imong vaca, ug ang imong asno ug makapahayahay ang anak nga lalake sa imong ulipon nga babaye, ug ang dumuloong.

¹²`Six days thou dost do thy work, and on the seventh day thou dost rest, so that thine ox and thine ass doth rest, and the son of thine handmaid and the sojourner is refreshed;

¹³Ug sa tanan nga giingon ko kanimo bantayan mo. Ug dili magahisgut sa ngalan sa uban nga mga dios, ni ipadungog kini gikan sa imong baba.

¹³and in all that which I have said unto you ye do take heed; and the name of other gods ye do not mention; it is not heard on thy mouth.

¹⁴Makatolo sa usa ka tuig magafiesta ikaw alang kanako.

¹⁴`Three times thou dost keep a feast to Me in a year;

¹⁵Ang fiesta sa mga tinapay nga walay levadura pagabantayan mo: pito ka adlaw nga magakaon ka ug mga tinapay nga walay levadura, ingon sa akong gisugo kanimo, sa panahon nga tinudlo sulod sa bulan sa Abib, kay niini migula ka gikan sa Egipto; ug walay bisan kinsa nga mangatubang nga walay dala sa atubangan ko:

¹⁵the Feast of Unleavened things thou dost keep; seven days thou dost eat unleavened things, as I have commanded thee, at the time appointed [in] the month of Abib; for in it thou hast come forth out of Egypt, and ye do not appear [in] My presence empty;

¹⁶Ug ang fiesta sa ani, ang mga inunahang bunga sa imong mga paghago, nga imong gipugas sa uma; ug ang fiesta sa paghipos sa abut sa katapusan sa tuig, kong ikaw magatigum sa imong kahago sa uma.

¹⁶and the Feast of Harvest, the first fruits of thy works which thou sowest in the field; and the Feast of the In-Gathering, in the outgoing of the year, in thy gathering thy works out of the field.

¹⁷Makatolo sa usa ka tuig mangatubang ang tanan mong lalake sa atubangan sa Ginoo nga si Jehova.

¹⁷`Three times in a year do all thy males appear before the face of the Lord Jehovah.

¹⁸Dili mo pag-ihalad nga adunay tinapay nga may levadura ang dugo sa akong halad, ni ibilin sa gabii hangtud sa pagkabuntag ang tambok sa giihaw sa akong fiesta.

¹⁸`Thou dost not sacrifice on a fermented thing the blood of My sacrifice, and the fat of My festival doth not remain till morning;

¹⁹Ang mga inunahan sa mga unang abut sa imong yuta dad-on mo sa balay ni Jehova nga imong Dios. Dili mo paglat-an ang nating kanding sa gatas sa inahan niini.

¹⁹the beginning of the first-fruits of thy ground thou dost bring into the house of Jehovah thy God; thou dost not boil a kid in its mother`s milk.

²⁰Ania karon, ginasugo ko ang usa ka Manolonda sa atubangan mo, aron sa pagbantay kanimo sa dalan, ug sa pagdala kanimo ngadto sa dapit nga akong gitagana.

²⁰`Lo, I am sending a messenger before thee to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee in unto the place which I have prepared;

²¹Magbantay kamo sa atubangan niya, ug magpatalinghug kamo sa iyang tingog; dili ninyo pagsuk-on siya; kay siya dili magapasaylo sa inyong paglapas: kay ang akong ngalan anaa kaniya.

²¹be watchful because of his presence, and hearken to his voice, rebel not against him, for he beareth not with your transgression, for My name [is] in his heart;

²²Apan kong sa pagkamatuod magapatalinghug ka sa iyang tingog, ug pagabuhaton mo ang tanan nga akong igaingon, nan ako mamahimong kaaway sa imong mga kaaway, ug magabatok ako sa imong mga kabatok.

²²for, if thou diligently hearken to his voice, and hast done all that which I speak, then I have been at enmity with thine enemies, and have distressed those distressing thee.

²³Kay ang akong Manolonda magalakaw sa unahan mo, ug pagapasudlon ka niya sa Amorehanon, ug sa Hetahanon, ug sa Persehanon, ug sa Canaanhon, ug sa Hebehanon, ug sa Jebusehanon, ug ako magalaglag kanila.

²³`For My messenger goeth before thee, and hath brought thee in unto the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Canaanite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, and I have cut them off.

²⁴Dili ka magayukbo sa ilang mga dios, ni mag-alagad kanila, ni magbuhat ingon sa ginabuhat nila; kondili hinoon laglagon mo sila ngatanan, ug panugmokon mo gayud ang ilang mga haligi nga larawan.

²⁴`Thou dost not bow thyself to their gods, nor serve them, nor do according to their doings, but dost utterly devote them, and thoroughly break their standing pillars.

²⁵Ug manag-alagad kamo kang Jehova nga inyong Dios, ug siya magapanalangin sa imong tinapay, ug sa imong tubig; ug pagakuhaon ko ang sakit gikan sa taliwala mo.

²⁵`And ye have served Jehovah your God, and He hath blessed thy bread and thy water, and I have turned aside sickness from thine heart;

²⁶Walay bisan kinsa nga kakuhaan sa iyang anak, ni maapuli diha sa imong yuta; ug pagatumanon ko ang gidaghanon sa imong mga adlaw.

²⁶there is not a miscarrying and barren one in thy land; the number of thy days I fulfil:

²⁷Igapadala ko ang akong kahadlok sa unahan mo, ug pagalisangon ko ang tanan nga katawohan nga imong pagaadtoan, ug pagahimoon ko nga ang tanan mong mga kaaway motalikod kanimo.

²⁷My terror I send before thee, and I have put to death all the people among whom thou comest, and I have given the neck of all thine enemies unto thee.

²⁸Ug magapadala ako ug tamboboan sa unahan mo nga magaabog sa Hebehanon, ug Canaanhon, ug sa Hetehanon gikan sa atubangan mo.

²⁸`And I have sent the hornet before thee, and it hath cast out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee;

²⁹Dili ko sila papahawaon gikan sa atubangan mo sulod sa usa ka tuig; tingali ang yuta mahimo nga kamingawan ug modaghan ang mga mananap sa kapatagan batok kanimo.

²⁹I cast them not out from before thee in one year, lest the land be a desolation, and the beast of the field hath multiplied against thee;

³⁰Sa hinayhinay pagaabugon ko sila gikan sa atubangan mo, hangtud nga magadaghan ka, ug magapanunod sa yuta.

³⁰little [by] little I cast them out from before thee, till thou art fruitful, and hast inherited the land.

³¹Ug igabutang ko ang imong utlanan gikan sa dagat nga Mapula hangtud sa dagat sa mga Filistehanon, ug gikan sa kamingawan hangtud sa suba sa Eufrates: kay igabutang ko sa imong mga kamot ang mga pumoluyo sa yuta, ug ikaw magapapahawa kanila gikan sa atubangan mo.

³¹`And I have set thy border from the Red Sea, even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness unto the River: for I give into your hand the inhabitants of the land, and thou hast cast them out from before thee;

³²Dili ka magbuhat ug pakigsaad uban kanila, ni sa ilang mga dios.

³²thou dost not make a covenant with them, and with their gods;

³³Sa imong yuta dili sila magapuyo, tingali unya nga ikaw makasala batok kanako; kay kong magaalagad ka sa ilang mga dios: kini gayud mamahimong usa ka lit-ag alang kanimo.

³³they do not dwell in thy land, lest they cause thee to sin against Me when thou servest their gods, when it becometh a snare to thee.`
