¹Ug si Jehova miingon kang Noe: Sumulod ka ug ang tibook mong panimalay sa arca; kay ikaw nakita ko nga matarung sa akong atubangan niining kaliwatana.

¹And Jehovah saith to Noah, `Come in, thou and all thy house, unto the ark, for thee I have seen righteous before Me in this generation;

²Sa tanan nga mananap nga mahinlo kumuha ka ug tinagpito, ang lake ug ang iyang baye; ug sa mga mananap nga mahugaw, tinagurha; lake ug ang iyang baye.

²of all the clean beasts thou dost take to thee seven pairs, a male and its female; and of the beasts which are not clean two, a male and its female;

³Ingon man usab sa mga langgam sa kalangitan sa tinagpito, lake ug baye; aron sa pagbuhi ug kaliwat sa ibabaw sa nawong sa tibook nga yuta.

³also, of fowl of the heavens seven pairs, a male and a female, to keep alive seed on the face of all the earth;

⁴Kay moagi pa ang pito ka adlaw ug pagapaulanon ko sa ibabaw sa yuta ug kap-atan ka adlaw ug kap-atan ka gabii; ug pagalaglagon ko gikan sa nawong sa yuta ang tanan nga gibuhat ko nga may kinabuhi.

⁴for after other seven days I am sending rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and have wiped away all the substance that I have made from off the face of the ground.`

⁵Ug gibuhat ni Noe sumala sa tanan nga gisugo ni Jehova kaniya.

⁵And Noah doth according to all that Jehovah hath commanded him:

⁶Ug si Noe may unom na ka gatus ka tuig ang panuigon sa paglunop sa mga tubig sa ibabaw sa yuta.

⁶and Noah [is] a son of six hundred years, and the deluge of waters hath been upon the earth.

⁷Ug si Noe ug ang iyang mga anak nga lalake ug ang iyang asawa, ug ang mga asawa sa iyang mga anak uban kaniya mingsulod sa arca, tungod sa mga tubig sa lunop.

⁷And Noah goeth in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons` wives with him, unto the ark, from the presence of the waters of the deluge;

⁸Sa mga mananap nga mahinlo, ug sa mga mananap nga dili mahinlo, ug sa mga langgam, ug sa tanan nga nagakamang sa yuta,

⁸of the clean beasts and of the beasts that [are] not clean, and of the fowl, and of every thing that is creeping upon the ground,

⁹Sa tinagurha nanulod ngadto kang Noe sa arca; lake ug baye, ingon sa gisugo sa Dios kang Noe.

⁹two by two they have come in unto Noah, unto the ark, a male and a female, as God hath commanded Noah.

¹⁰Ug nahitabo nga sa tapus ang pito ka adlaw ang mga tubig sa lunop mingsalanap sa ibabaw sa yuta.

¹⁰And it cometh to pass, after the seventh of the days, that waters of the deluge have been on the earth.

¹¹Sa ikaunom ka gatus ka tuig sa kinabuhi ni Noe, sa ikaduha nga bulan, sa ikapulo ug pito ka adlaw sa bulan, niadto gayud nga adlawa nangabuswang ang tanan nga mga tinubdan sa dagku nga kahiladman ug ang mga tamboanan sa mga langit nangaabli.

¹¹In the six hundredth year of the life of Noah, in the second month, in the seventeenth day of the month, in this day have been broken up all fountains of the great deep, and the net-work of the heavens hath been opened,

¹²Ug dihay ulan sa ibabaw sa yuta sa kap-atan ka adlaw ug kap-atan ka gabii.

¹²and the shower is on the earth forty days and forty nights.

¹³Niadtong adlawa gayud misulod si Noe, si Sem, si Cham, ug si Japhet, mga anak nga lalake ni Noe, ug ang asawa ni Noe, ug ang totolo ka mga asawa sa iyang mga anak, uban kanila sa arca.

¹³In this self-same day went in Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, sons of Noah, and Noah`s wife and the three wives of his sons with them, unto the ark;

¹⁴Sila, ug ang tanan nga mga mananap ingon sa ilang matang, ngatanan nga mga kahayupan ingon sa ilang matang, ug ang tanan nga mga mananap nga nagakamang sa ibabaw sa yuta ingon sa ilang matang, ug ang tanan nga mga langgam ingon sa ilang matang, ug tanan nga mga nagkalainlaing langgam.

¹⁴they, and every living creature after its kind, and every beast after its kind, and every creeping thing that is creeping on the earth after its kind, and every fowl after its kind, every bird — every wing.

¹⁵Ug mingsulod sila ngadto kang Noe sa arca sa tinagurha ang tanan nga unod nga may gininhawa sa kinabuhi.

¹⁵And they come in unto Noah, unto the ark, two by two of all the flesh in which [is] a living spirit;

¹⁶Ug ang mga nanagpanulod, nanulod nga mga lake ug mga baye sa tanan nga unod, ingon sa gisugo sa Dios kaniya; ug gilukban siya ni Jehova.

¹⁶and they that are coming in, male and female of all flesh, have come in as God hath commanded him, and Jehovah doth close [it] for him.

¹⁷Ug miabut ang lunop ug kap-atan ka adlaw sa ibabaw sa yuta; ug mitubo ang mga tubig ug nagapalutaw sa arca, ug kini milutaw sa ibabaw sa yuta.

¹⁷And the deluge is forty days on the earth, and the waters multiply, and lift up the ark, and it is raised up from off the earth;

¹⁸Ug milunop ang mga tubig ug mitubo pagdaku gayud sa ibabaw sa yuta; ug nagtulin ang arca sa ibabaw sa nawong sa mga tubig.

¹⁸and the waters are mighty, and multiply exceedingly upon the earth; and the ark goeth on the face of the waters.

¹⁹Ug milunop ang mga tubig sa hilabihan gayud sa ibabaw sa yuta, ug gisalanapan ang tanang mga bukid nga hatag-as nga diha sa ilalum sa tibook nga langit.

¹⁹And the waters have been very very mighty on the earth, and covered are all the high mountains which [are] under the whole heavens;

²⁰Napulo ug lima ka maniko ang paglabaw sa mga tubig, ug gilunopan ang mga bukid.

²⁰fifteen cubits upwards have the waters become mighty, and the mountains are covered;

²¹Ug nangamatay ang tanan nga unod nga nagalihok sa ibabaw sa yuta, maingon sa mga langgam, ingon usab ang mga kahayupan, ug ang mga mananap nga nagakamang sa ibabaw sa yuta, ug ang tanang mga tawo;

²¹and expire doth all flesh that is moving on the earth, among fowl, and among cattle, and among beasts, and among all the teeming things which are teeming on the earth, and all mankind;

²²Ang tanan nga may gininhawa sa espiritu sa kinabuhi sa ilang mga ilong, ang tanan nga didto sa yuta nga mamala, nangamatay.

²²all in whose nostrils [is] breath of a living spirit — of all that [is] in the dry land — have died.

²³Ug gilaglag ang tanang butang nga may kinabuhi sa ibabaw sa nawong sa yuta, sukad sa tawo hangtud sa kahayupan ug mga butang nga nagakamang sa yuta ug ang mga langgam sa mga langit; nangalaglag sila gikan sa yuta, ug ang nahibilin mao lamang si Noe ug sila nga didto uban kaniya sa arca.

²³And wiped away is all the substance that is on the face of the ground, from man unto beast, unto creeping thing, and unto fowl of the heavens; yea, they are wiped away from the earth, and only Noah is left, and those who [are] with him in the ark;

²⁴Ug milunop ang mga tubig sa ibabaw sa yuta sa usa ka gatus ug kalim-an ka adlaw.

²⁴and the waters are mighty on the earth a hundred and fifty days.
