¹Si Sedechias may kaluhaan ug usa ka tuig ang panuigon sa pagsugod niya paghari, ug siya naghari sa napulo ug usa ka tuig sa Jerusalem: ug ang ngalan sa iyang inahan mao si Hamutal, ang anak nga babaye ni Jeremias sa Libna.

¹A son of twenty and one years [is] Zedekiah in his reigning, and eleven years he hath reigned in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Hamutal daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.

²Ug gibuhat niya kadtong dautan sa pagtan-aw ni Jehova, sumala sa tanan nga gibuhat ni Joacim.

²and he doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, according to all that Jehoiakim hath done,

³Kay tungod sa kasuko ni Jehova nga nahitabo sa Jerusalem ug sa Juda, hangtud nga sila gihinginlan niya gikan sa iyang atubangan. Ug si Sedechias misukol batok sa hari sa Babilonia.

³for, because of the anger of Jehovah, it hath been in Jerusalem and Judah till He hath cast them from before His face, and Zedekiah doth rebel against the king of Babylon.

⁴Ug nahatabo sa ikasiyam ka tuig sa iyang paghari, sa ikapulo ka bulan, sa ikapulo ka adlaw sa bulan nga si Nabucodnosor nga hari sa Babilonia miabut, siya ug ang tibook niyang kasundalohan batok sa Jerusalem, ug mingpahaluna batok niini; ug sila nanagtukod ug mga kuta batok niini nga nagalibut.

⁴And it cometh to pass, in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth of the month, come hath Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon — he and all his force — against Jerusalem, and they encamp against it, and build against it a fortification round about;

⁵Busa ang ciudad ginalikusan sa mga sundalo hangtud sa ikapulo ug usa ka tuig ni hari Sedechias.

⁵and the city cometh into siege till the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.

⁶Sa ikaupat ka bulan sa ikasiyam ka adlaw sa bulan, ang gutom mikaylap sa hilabiha gayud sa ciudad, sa pagkaagi nga wala nay tinapay alang sa mga tawo didto sa yuta:

⁶In the fourth month, in the ninth of the month, when the famine is severe in the city, and there hath been no bread for the people of the land,

⁷Unya may usa ka bahin sa ciudad nga natumpag, ug ang tanang mga tawo nga iggugubat nangalagiw, ug minggula sa ciudad sa kagabhion, nga nanagpangagi sa pultahan sa taliwala sa duha mga kuta, nga diha sa haduol sa tanaman sa hari (karon ang mga Caldeahanon diha nanaglibut sa ciudad); ug sila nangagi padulong ngadto sa Arabah.

⁷then is the city broken up, and all the men of war flee, and go forth from the city by night, the way of the gate between the two walls, that [is] by the king`s garden — and the Chaldeans [are] by the city round about — and they go the way of the plain.

⁸Apan ang mga sundalo sa mga Caldeahanon minggukod sa hari, ug nakaapas kang Sedechias didto sa mga kapatagan sa Jerico; ug ang iyang tibook kasundalohan nagkatibulaag gikan kaniya.

⁸And the forces of the Chaldeans pursue after the king, and overtake Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho, and all his forces have been scattered from him,

⁹Unya ilang gikuha ang hari, ug gidala siya ngadto sa hari sa Babilonia ngadto sa Ribla sa yuta ni Hamath; ug siya nagpakanaug ug hukom batok kaniya.

⁹and they capture the king, and bring him up unto the king of Babylon to Riblah, in the land of Hamath, and he speaketh with him — judgments.

¹⁰Ug ang hari sa Babilonia mipatay sa mga anak nga lalake ni Sedechias sa atubangan sa iyang mga mata: gipamatay usab niya ang tanang mga principe sa Juda didto sa Ribla.

¹⁰And the king of Babylon slaughtereth the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and also all the princes of Judah hath he slaughtered in Riblah;

¹¹Ug iyang gilusok ang mga mata ni Sedechias; ug siya gigapus sa mga talikala sa hari sa Babilonia, ug gidala siya ngadto sa Babilonia, ug gibanlud siya sa bilanggoan hangtud sa adlaw sa iyang pagkamatay.

¹¹and the eyes of Zedekiah he hath blinded, and he bindeth him in brazen fetters, and the king of Babylon bringeth him to Babylon, and putteth him in the house of inspection unto the day of his death.

¹²Karon sa ikalima ka bulan, sa ikapulo ka adlaw sa bulan, nga mao ang ikapulo ug siyam ka tuig ni Nabucodonosor, nga hari sa Babilonia, miabut sa Jerusalem si Nabuzaradan ang capitan sa magbalantay nga nagaalagad sa hari sa Babilonia.

¹²And in the fifth month, in the tenth of the month — it [is] the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon — come hath Nebuzar-Adan, chief of the executioners; he hath stood before the king of Babylon in Jerusalem,

¹³Ug gisunog niya ang balay ni Jehova, ug ang balay sa hari; ug ang tanang mga balay sa Jerusalem, bisan pa ang tanang balay sa mga dagkung tawo, iyang gisunog sa kalayo.

¹³and he burneth the house of Jehovah, and the house of the king, and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house he hath burned with fire,

¹⁴Ug gipanggun-ob ang tanang mga kuta nga naglibut sa Jerusalem sa tanang kasundaluhan sa mga Caldeanhon nga ming-uban sa capitan sa magbalantay.

¹⁴and all the walls of Jerusalem round about broken down have all the forces of the Chaldeans that [are] with the chief of the executioners.

¹⁵Unya gibihag ni Nabuzaradan nga capitan sa magbalantay ang pipila gikan sa mga labing kabus nga mga tawo, ug ang salin sa mga tawo nga nanghibilin sa ciudad, ug kadtong nanghisalaag nga nangahulog ngadto sa hari sa Babilonia, ug ang nanghibilin sa panon sa katawohan.

¹⁵And of the poor of the people, and the remnant of the people who are left in the city, and those who are falling away, who have fallen unto the king of Babylon, and the remnant of the multitude, hath Nebuzar-Adan chief of the executioners, removed;

¹⁶Apan gibilin ni Nabuzaradan ang capitan sa magbalantay ang pipila sa labing kabus nga mga tawo sa yuta aron mahimong mga magaatiman sa kaparrasan ug mahimong mga mag-uuma.

¹⁶and of the poor of the land hath Nebuzar-Adan, chief of the executioners, left for vine-dressers and for husbandmen.

¹⁷Ug ang mga haligi nga tumbaga nga diha sa sulod sa balay ni Jehova, ug ang mga ugbokanan, ug ang dagat-dagat nga tumbaga nga diha sa sulod sa balay ni Jehova, gidugmok sa mga Caldeahanon, ug gidala ang mga tumbaga niini ngadto sa Babilonia.

¹⁷And the pillars of brass that [are] to the house of Jehovah, and the bases, and the brasen sea that [is] in the house of Jehovah, have the Chaldeans broken, and they bear away all the brass of them to Babylon;

¹⁸Ang mga kawa usab, ug ang mga pala, ug ang mga kumpit nga igpapalong, ug ang mga dolang, ug ang mga cuchara, ug ang tanang mga tumbaga nga sudlanan nga ilang pagagamiton sa pag-alagad, ilang gipanagdala.

¹⁸and the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass with which they minister, they have taken away;

¹⁹ug ang mga copa, ug ang mga sangga sa kalayo, ug ang mga dolang, ug ang mga kawa, ug ang mga tangkawan, ug ang mga cuchara, ug ang mga panaksan-nga mga bulawan, sinulod sa bulawan, ug ang mga binuhat nga salapi, sinulod sa salapi, gikuha sa capitan sa magbalantay.

¹⁹and the basins, and the fire-pans, and the bowls, and the pots, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the cups, the gold of that which [is] gold, and the silver of that which [is] silver, hath the chief of the executioners taken.

²⁰Ang duha ka haligi, ang usa ka dagat-dagat, ug napulog duha ka mga torong vaca nga tumbaga nga diha sa ilalum sa ugbokanan, nga gibuhat ni hari Salomon alang sa balay ni Jehova-ang tumbaga niining tanan nga mga sudlanan nga walay timbang.

²⁰The two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve brazen oxen that [are] beneath the bases, that king Solomon made for the house of Jehovah, there was no weighing of the brass of all these vessels.

²¹Ug mahatungod sa mga haligi, ang gitaas-on sa usa ka haligi napulo ug walo ka maniko; ug usa ka gitas-on nga napulo ug duha ka maniko nga nagalibut niini; ug ang gibag-on niini upat ka tudlo; ug kadto lungagan.

²¹As to the pillars, eighteen cubits [is] the height of the one pillar, and a cord of twelve cubits doth compass it, and its thickness [is] four fingers hollow.

²²Ug ang ulo-ulo nga tumbaga diha sa ibabaw niini; ug ang kahabogon sa usa ka ulo-ulo lima ka maniko, uban ang mga rihas ug mga granada sa ibabaw sa ulo-ulo nga nagalibut niini, ang tanan lonlon tumbaga: ug ang ikaduha ka haligi usab ang tanan sama niini, ug ang mga granada.

²²And the chapiter upon it [is] of brass, and the height of the one chapiter [is] five cubits, and net-work and pomegranates [are] on the chapiter round about, the whole [is] of brass; and like these have the second pillar, and pomegranates.

²³Ug dihay kasiyaman ug unom ka mga granada sa mga kilid; ang tanang mga granada sa rihas may usa ka gatus nga nanaglibut.

²³And the pomegranates are ninety and six on a side, all the pomegranates [are] a hundred on the net-work round about.

²⁴Ug ang capitan sa magbalantay mikuha kang Seaia ang pangulong sacerdote, ug kang Sofonias ang ikaduhang sacerdote, ug sa totolo ka mga magbalantay sa tugkaran.

²⁴And the chief of the executioners taketh Seraiah the head priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the threshold,

²⁵Gikuha usab niya gikan sa ciudad ang usa ka punoan nga nagbantay sa mga tawo nga iggugubat; ug pito ka mga tawo niadtong nakakita sa nawong sa hari, nga hikaplagan sa sulod sa ciudad; ug ang escriba sa capitan sa panon, nga nagpatigum sa mga tawo sa yuta; ug kan-uman ka mga lalake sa mga tawo sa yuta, nga hikaplagan sa taliwala sa ciudad.

²⁵and out of the city he hath taken a certain eunuch, who hath been inspector over the men of war, and seven men of those seeing the king`s face, who have been found in the city, and the head scribe of the host, who mustereth the people of the land, and sixty men of the people of the land, who are found in the midst of the city;

²⁶Ug si Nabuzaradan ang capitan sa magbalantay mikuha kanila ug gidala sila ngadto sa hari sa Babilonia ngadto sa Ribla.

²⁶and Nebuzar-Adan, chief of the executioners, taketh them, and bringeth them unto the king of Babylon to Riblah,

²⁷Ug sila gisamaran ug gipamatay sa hari sa Babilonia didto sa Ribla sa yuta ni Hamath. Busa ang Juda gidala nga binihag gikan sa kaugaligon niyang yuta.

²⁷and the king of Babylon smiteth them, and putteth them to death in Riblah, in the land of Hamath, and he removeth Judah from off its own ground.

²⁸Mao kini ang katawohan nga gibihag ni Nabucodonosor: sa ikapito ka tuig, ang iyang binihag tolo ka libo ug kaluhaan ug tolo ka mga Judio;

²⁸This [is] the people whom Nebuchadrezzar hath removed: in the seventh year, of Jews, three thousand and twenty and three;

²⁹Sa ikapulo ug walo ka tuig ni Nabucodonosor siya mibihag gikan sa Jerusalem sa walo ka gatus ug katloan ug duha ka tawo;

²⁹in the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar — from Jerusalem, souls, eight hundred thirty and two;

³⁰Sa ikakaluhaan ug tolo ka tuig ni Nabucodonosor, si Nabuzaradan ang capitan sa magbalantay mibihag pito ka gatus kap-atan ug lima ka mga tawo: ang tanang mga tawo may upat ka libo ug unom ka gatus.

³⁰in the three and twentieth year of Nebuchadrezzar, hath Nebuzar-Adan chief of the guard removed of Jewish souls, seven hundred forty and five; all the souls [are] four thousand and six hundred.

³¹Ug nahitabo sa ikakatloan ug pito ka tuig sa pagkabiha ni Joachin nga hari sa Juda, sa ikapulo ug duha ka bulan, sa ikakaluhaan ug lima ka adlaw sa bulan, nga si Evil-merodach nga hari sa Babilonia, sa nahaunang tuig sa iyang paghari, mialsa sa ulo ni Joachin nga hari sa Juda, ug gipagula siya sa bilanggoan;

³¹And it cometh to pass, in the thirty and seventh year of the removal of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the twenty and fifth of the month, hath Evil-Merodach king of Babylon lifted up, in the year of his reign, the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and bringeth him out from the house of restraint,

³²Ug nakigsulti nga maloloy-on kaniya, ug ang iyang trono gipahamutang nga labaw sa trono mga hari nga nanghiuban kaniya didto sa Babilonia,

³²and speaketh with him good things, and setteth his throne above the throne of the kings who [are] with him in Babylon,

³³Ug giilisan ang iyang mga saput sa bilanggoan. ug si Joachin diha magkan-anan sa tinapay sa iyang atubangan sa kanunay sa tanang mga adlaw sa iyang kinabuhi:

³³and he hath changed his prison garments, and he hath eaten bread before him continually, all the days of his life.

³⁴Ug alang sa iyang kalan-on, may kanunay nga kalan-on gihatag kaniya sa hari sa Babilonia, usa ka bahin sa tagsatagsa ka adlaw hangtud sa adlaw sa iyang kamatayon, sa tanang mga adlaw sa iyang kinabuhi.

³⁴And his allowance — a continual allowance — hath been given to him by the king of Babylon, the matter of a day in its day, till the day of his death — all days of his life.
