¹Ug nakita ko sa toong kamot niadtong nagalingkod sa trono, ang usa ka basahon nga sinulatan sa sulod ug sa gawas, nga gitiman-an sa pito ka mga patik.

¹And I saw upon the right hand of Him who is sitting upon the throne a scroll, written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals;

²Ug nakita ko ang usa ka kusgan nga manolonda, nga nagamantala uban ang hataas nga tingog: Kinsa ang takus sa pagbuklad sa basahon, ug sa paghubad sa mga patik niini?

²and I saw a strong messenger crying with a great voice, `Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose the seals of it?`

³Ug walay bisan kinsa sa langit, bisan sa yuta, bisan sa ilalum sa yuta, nga arang makabuklad sa basahon, bisan sa pagtan-aw niini.

³and no one was able in the heaven, nor upon the earth, nor under the earth, to open the scroll, nor to behold it.

⁴Ug hilabihan nga hilak ko, kay walay hingkaplagan nga bisan kinsa, nga takus makabuklad sa basahon, bisan sa pagtan-aw niini.

⁴And I was weeping much, because no one was found worthy to open and to read the scroll, nor to behold it,

⁵Ug nagaingon kanako ang usa sa mga anciano: Ayaw paghilak: ania karon, ang Leon sa banay ni Juda, ang Gamut ni David, nga nakadaug aron sa pagbuklad sa basahon, ug paghubad sa pito ka mga patik niini.

⁵and one of the elders saith to me, `Weep not; lo, overcome did the Lion, who is of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, to open the scroll, and to loose the seven seals of it;

⁶Ug nakita ko sa taliwala sa trono, ug sa upat ka mga binuhat nga buhi ug sa taliwala sa mga anciano, ang usa ka Cordero nga nagatindog nga daw gipatay nga may pito ka mga sungay ug pito ka mata, nga mao ang pito ka mga Espiritu sa Dios, nga gipadala ngadto sa tibook nga yuta.

⁶and I saw, and lo, in the midst of the throne, and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb hath stood as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the Seven Spirits of God, which are sent to all the earth,

⁷Ug miduol siya, ug gikuha niya ang basahon sa toong kamot niadtong nagalingkod sa trono.

⁷and he came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who is sitting upon the throne.

⁸Ug sa nakuha niya ang basahon, nanagyaub sa atubangan sa Cordero ang upat ka mga binuhat nga buhi ug ang kaluhaan ug upat ka mga anciano, nga ang tagsatagsa kanila may mga alpa, ug mga panaksan nga bulawan, nga puno sa incienso, nga mao ang mga pag-ampo sa mga balaan.

⁸And when he took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell before the Lamb, having each one harps and golden vials full of perfumes, which are the prayers of the saints,

⁹Ug nanag-awit sila sa usa ka bag-ong awit, nga nagaingon: Ikaw ang takus sa pagkuha sa basahon, ug sa paghubad sa mga patik niini; kay ikaw ang namatay ug gitubos mo ang mga tawo sa imong dugo alang sa Dios, gikan sa tanan nga banay, ug pinulongan, ug katawohan, ug nasud;

⁹and they sing a new song, saying, `Worthy art thou to take the scroll, and to open the seals of it, because thou wast slain, and didst redeem us to God in thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation,

¹⁰Ug sila gibuhat mo, alang sa atong Dios, nga usa ka gingharian ug mga sacerdote, ug managhari sila sa yuta.

¹⁰and didst make us to our God kings and priests, and we shall reign upon the earth.`

¹¹Ug nakita ko, ug nadungog ko ang tingog sa daghang manolonda, nga nagalibut sa trono, ug sa mga binuhat nga buhi, ug sa mga anciano; ug ang gidaghanon nila mga panon sa mga panon ug mga linibo ka mga linibo,

¹¹And I saw, and I heard the voice of many messengers round the throne, and the living creatures, and the elders — and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands —

¹²Nga nanag-ingon sa hataas nga tingog: Ang Cordero nga gipatay mao ang takus sa pagdawat sa gahum ug sa mga bahandi, ug sa kaalam ug sa kalig-onan, ug sa kadungganan, ug sa kahimayaan, ug sa pagdayeg.

¹²saying with a great voice, `Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive the power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing!`

¹³Ug nadungog ko sa tanan nga mga binuhat nga atua sa langit ug sa yuta, ug sa ilalum sa yuta, ug ang mga anaa sa dagat, ug ang tanan nga mga butang nga anaa kanila, nga nanag-ingon: Alang niadtong nagalingkod sa trono, ug sa Cordero, ang pagdayeg ug ang kadungganan ug ang himaya ug ang gahum, sa mga katuigan nga walay katapusan.

¹³and every creature that is in the heaven, and in the earth, and under the earth, and the things that are upon the sea, and the all things in them, heard I saying, `To Him who is sitting upon the throne, and to the Lamb, [is] the blessing, and the honour, and the glory, and the might — to the ages of the ages!`

¹⁴Ug ang upat ka mga binuhat nga buhi nanag-ingon: Amen. Ug ang kaluhaan ug upat ka mga anciano nanagyaub, ug nanagsimba.

¹⁴and the four living creatures said, `Amen!` and the twenty-four elders fell down and they bow before Him who is living to the ages of the ages.
