¹Now these are they that came to David to Ziklag, while he kept still close because of Saul the son of Kish; and they were among the mighty men who helped him in the conflict;

²Ug sila nasangkap sa mga pana, ug makagamit sa too ug walang kamot sa paglabyog sa mga bato ug sa pagpana sa mga udyong gikan sa pana: sila sa kaigsoonan ni Saul sa Benjamin.

²armed with bows, using both the right hand and the left with stones and with arrows on the bow; [they were] of Saul's brethren of Benjamin:

³the chief Ahiezer, and Joash, the sons of Shemaah the Gibeathite; and Jeziel, and Pelet, the sons of Azmaveth; and Berachah, and Jehu the Anathothite,

⁴Ug si Ismaias ang Gabaonhon, usa ka gamhanang tawo sa taliwala sa katloan, ug pangulo sa katloan, ug si Jeremias, ug si Jahaziel, ug si Johanan, ug si Jozabad ang Gederatnon,

⁴and Jishmaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty man among the thirty, and over the thirty; and Jeremiah, and Jahaziel, and Johanan, and Jozabad the Gederathite.

⁵Ug si Eluzai, ug si Jeremoth, ug si Bealias, ug si Semarias ang Harupnon,

⁵Eluzai, and Jerimoth, and Bealiah, and Shemariah, and Shephatiah the Haruphite;

⁶Si Elcana, ug si Isias, ug si Asarel, ug si Joeser, ug si Jazobam, ang Corahanon.

⁶Elkanah, and Jishijah, and Azareel, and Joezer, and Jashobeam, the Korahites;

⁷Ug si Joela, ug si Zebadias, ang mga anak nga lalake ni Jeroham sa Gedor.

⁷and Joelah, and Zebadiah, the sons of Jeroham of Gedor.

⁸Ug gikan sa mga Gadahanon may nanagbulagbulag sa ilang kaugalingon ngadto kang David sa malig-ong salipdanan didto sa kamingawan, gamhanang mga tawo sa kaisug, mga tawo nga bansay sa gubat, nga makakupot sa taming ug bangkaw; kansang mga nawong sama sa mga nawong sa mga leon, ug sila mga matulin sama sa mga lagsaw sa ibabaw sa kabukiran:

⁸And of the Gadites, there separated themselves to David in the stronghold in the wilderness mighty men of valour, men fit for the service of war, armed with shield and spear; whose faces were [like] the faces of lions, and who were swift as the gazelles upon the mountains:

⁹Si Eser ang pangulo, si Obadias ang ikaduha, si Eliab ang ikatolo,

⁹Ezer the first, Obadiah the second, Eliab the third,

¹⁰Si Mismana ang ikaupat, si Jeremias ang ikalima,

¹⁰Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth,

¹¹Si Atai ang ikaunom, si Eliel ang ikapito,

¹¹Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,

¹²Si Johanan ang ikawalo, si Elzabad ang ikasiyam,

¹²Johanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,

¹³Si Jeremias ang ikapulo, si Machbanai ang ikapulo ug usa.

¹³Jeremiah the tenth, Machbannai the eleventh.

¹⁴Kini gikan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Gad maoy mga capitan sa panon: siya nga maoy labing kinaubsan tumbas sa usa ka gatus, ug ang labing kinadakuan tumbas sa usa ka libo.

¹⁴These were of the sons of Gad, captains of the host: one of the least was over a hundred, and the greatest over a thousand.

¹⁵Kini sila mao ang nanabok sa Jordan sa unang bulan, sa diha nga kini miawas sa tanang mga tampi niini; ug ilang gipakalagiw silang tanan ngadto sa mga kawalogan, paingon ngadto sa silangan ug paingon sa kasadpan.

¹⁵These are they that went over Jordan in the first month, when it overflows all its banks, and they put to flight all [them] of the valleys, toward the east and toward the west.

¹⁶Ug may nangabut gikan sa mga anak sa Benjamin ug Juda ngadto sa malig-ong salipdanan kang David.

¹⁶And there came of the children of Benjamin and Judah to the stronghold to David.

¹⁷Ug si David migula sa pagpakigkita kanila, ug mitubag ug miingon kanila: Kong ugaling kamo nanganhi nga makigdaiton kanako sa pagtabang kanako, ang akong kasingkasing igabugkos kaninyo; apan kong kamo nanganhi sa pagbudhi kanako ngadto sa akong mga kaaway, sanglit kay walay kadautan sa akong mga kamot, ang Dios sa atong mga amahan magtan-aw unta niana, ug badlongon kana.

¹⁷And David went out to meet them, and answered and said to them, If ye come peaceably to me to help me, my heart shall be knit unto you; but if to betray me to mine enemies, seeing there is no wrong in my hands, the God of our fathers see [it] and rebuke [it].

¹⁸Unya ang Espiritu mikunsad kang Amasai, nga maoy pangulo sa katloan, ug siya miingon : Imo kami, David, ug anaa kami kanimo, ikaw anak nga lalake ni Isai: ang pakigdait, ang pakigdait kanimo, ug ang pakigdait anaa sa imong mga magtatabang; kay ang imong Dios nagatabang kanimo. ¹⁸And the Spirit came upon Amasai, the chief of the captains, [and he said,] Thine [are we], David, And with thee, thou son of Jesse: Peace, peace be to thee! And peace be to thy helpers! For thy God helps thee. And David received them, and made them chiefs of bands.

¹⁹Ug gikan kang Manases usab may nanghitipon ngadto kang David nga pila ka book, sa diha nga siya nahiabut uban sa mga Filistehanon batok kang Saul sa pagpakiggubat: apan sila wala nila tabangi; kay ang mga ginoo sa mga Filistehanon tungod sa pagtambag nagpapahawa kaniya, nga nagaingon: Siya moadto sa iyang agalon nga si Saul sa kadaut sa atong mga ulo.

¹⁹And there fell some of Manasseh to David, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle: but they helped them not; for the lords of the Philistines upon deliberation sent him away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul at the peril of our heads.

²⁰Sa miadto siya sa Siclag, may mingtipon kaniya gikan kang Manases, si Adna, ug si Jozabad, ug si Jediael, ug si Michael, ug si Jozabad, ug si Eliu, ug si Selitai, mga capitan sa mga linibo nga gikan kang Manases.

²⁰As he went away to Ziklag, there fell to him of Manasseh: Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zilthai, captains of the thousands that were of Manasseh.

²¹Ug ilang gitabangan si David batok sa panon nga mga libud-soroy; tungod kay sila ngatanan mga gamhanang tawo sa kaisug, ug mga capitan sila sa panon.

²¹And they helped David in his expeditions; for they were all mighty men of valour, and were captains in the host.

²²Kay sa adlaw-adlaw ang mga tawo magaadtoan kang David aron sa pagtabang kaniya, hangtud nga dihay usa ka dakung panon, sama sa panon sa Dios.

²²For day by day there came [men] to David to help him, until it was a great camp, like the camp of God.

²³Ug kini mao ang gidaghanon sa mga pangulo nila nga mga sangkap sa hinagiban alang sa gubat, nga nangadto kang David sa Hebron, aron sa pagbalhin sa gingharian ni Saul ngadto kaniya, sumala sa pulong ni Jehova.

²³And this is the number of the men equipped for military service, who came to David to Hebron, to transfer the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of Jehovah.

²⁴Ang mga anak sa Juda nga nagdala sa taming ug bangkaw unom ka libo ug walo ka gatus, sangkap alang sa gubat.

²⁴The children of Judah that bore shield and spear were six thousand eight hundred, equipped for military service.

²⁵Sa mga anak ni Simeon, gamhanang mga tawo sa kaisug alang sa gubat, pito ka libo ug usa ka gatus.

²⁵Of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valour for war, seven thousand one hundred.

²⁶Sa mga anak ni Levi upat ka libo ug unom ka gatus.

²⁶Of the children of Levi four thousand six hundred.

²⁷Ug si Joiada maoy pangulo sa balay ni Aaron; ug uban kaniya may totolo ka libo ug pito ka gatus,

²⁷And Jehoiada the prince of Aaron, and with him were three thousand seven hundred;

²⁸Ug si Sadoc, usa ka batan-on nga gamhanan sa kaisug, ug sa balay sa iyang amahan kaluhaan ug duha ka capitan.

²⁸and Zadok, a valiant young man, and his father's house two and twenty chief men.

²⁹Ug sa mga anak sa Benjamin, ang kaigsoonan ni Saul, tolo ka libo: kay hangtud niini ang labing daku nga bahin kanila mingpasakup sa balay ni Saul.

²⁹And of the children of Benjamin, the brethren of Saul, three thousand; but hitherto the greater part of them had adhered to the house of Saul.

³⁰Ug sa mga anak sa Ephraim, kaluhaan ka libo ug walo ka gatus, gamhanang mga tawo sa kaisug, mga bantugang tawo sa mga balay sa ilang mga amahan.

³⁰And of the children of Ephraim twenty thousand eight hundred, mighty men of valour, men of name in their fathers' houses.

³¹Ug sa katungang-banay sa Manases napulo ug walo ka libo, nga gipanghinganlan aron sa pag-anha ug paghimo kang David nga hari.

³¹And of the half tribe of Manasseh eighteen thousand, who were expressed by name, to come and make David king.

³²Ug sa mga anak ni Issachar, mga tawo nga may salabutan sa mga panahon, sa pagpanghibalo sa pagabuhaton sa Israel, ang mga pangulo nila duha ka gatus; ug ang tanan nilang kaigsoonan diha sa ilang pagbulot-an.

³²And of the children of Issachar, who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their bidding.

³³Sa kang Zabulon, kadtong mga may katakus sa paggula ipon sa panon, nga makapahamutang sa gubat, sa paggamit sa tanang nagkalainlaing galamiton sa gubag, kalim-an ka libo, ug kana makapahaluna sa gubat, ug mga tawo nga dili maduhaduhaon.

³³Of Zebulun, such as went forth in the host, armed for war with all weapons of war, fifty thousand, keeping rank without double heart.

³⁴Ug sa Nephtali, usa ka libong mga capitan, ug uban kanila nga nagdala sa taming ug bangkaw katloan ug pito ka libo.

³⁴And of Naphtali a thousand captains, and with them thirty-seven thousand with shield and spear.

³⁵Ug sa mga Danhon ang makapahaluna sa gubat, kaluhaan ug walo ka libo ug unom ka gatus.

³⁵And of the Danites armed for war twenty-eight thousand six hundred.

³⁶Ug sa kang Aser, ingon sa makahimo sa paggula uban sa panon, nga makapahimutang sa gubat, kap-atan ka libo.

³⁶And of Asher such as went forth in the host, to set themselves in battle array, forty thousand.

³⁷Ug sa pikas nga daplin sa Jordan, sa mga Rubenhanon, ug sa mga Gadahanon, ug sa katungang-banay ni Manases, uban ang tanang mga nagkalainlaing galamiton alang sa gubat, usa ka gatus ug kaluhaan ka libo.

³⁷And from the other side of the Jordan, of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and of the half tribe of Manasseh, with all manner of weapons of war for battle, a hundred and twenty thousand.

³⁸Kining tanan sanglit mga tawo sa gubat, nga makapahaluna sa gubat, nangadto uban ang usa ka hingpit nga kasingkasing ngadto sa Hebron, sa paghimo kang David nga hari sa ibabaw sa tibook Israel: ug ang tanan usab sa Israel nanaghiusa sa kasingkasing sa paghimo kang David nga hari.

³⁸All of them men of war, keeping rank in battle array, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel; and all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king.

³⁹Ug sila didto uban kang David sa totolo ka adlaw, nangaon ug nanginum; kay ang ilang kaigsoonan nanag-andam alang kanila.

³⁹And there they were with David three days, eating and drinking; for their brethren had prepared for them;

⁴⁰Labut pa sila nga duol kanila, bisan kadtong sa halayo sama sa Issachar ug Zabulon, ug Nephtali, nanagdala ug tinapay diha sa ilang mga asno, ug sa mga camello, ug sa mga mula, ug sa mga vaca, mga balon nga harina, mga minasa nga igos, ug mga pungpong sa mga parras, ug vino, ug lana, ug mga vaca, ug mga carnero nga daghan: kay dihay kalipay sa Israel.

⁴⁰and those too that were near them, as far as Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, brought food on asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen; provisions of meal, fig-cakes and raisin-cakes, and wine and oil, and oxen and sheep, abundantly; for there was joy in Israel.
