¹And after this it came to pass that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them, and took Gath and its towns out of the hand of the Philistines.

²Ug iyang gidaug ang Moab; ug ang mga Moabnon nahimong mga alagad kang David, ug nanagbuhis.

²And he smote the Moabites; and the Moabites became David's servants, [and] brought gifts.

³Ug si David nakadaug kang Hadareser nga hari sa Soba ngadto sa Hamath, sa miadto siya sa pagtukod sa iyang ginsakpan tupad sa suba sa Eufrates.

³And David smote Hadarezer king of Zobah, at Hamath, as he went to establish his dominion by the river Euphrates.

⁴Ug si David nagkuha gikan kaniya usa ka libong carro, ug pito ka libong tawo nga magkakabayo, ug kaluhaan ka libong tawo nga nagtiniil; ug gikitnan ni David ang tanang mga kabayo sa carro, apan gigawas gikan niini ang alang sa usa ka gatus nga mga carro.

⁴And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen; and David houghed all the chariot [horses], but reserved of them [for] a hundred chariots.

⁵Ug sa diha nga ang mga Sirianhon sa Damasco nangabut aron sa pagtabang kang Hadareser nga hari sa Soba, gipatay ni David ang kaluhaan ug duha ka libo ka tawo gikan sa mga Sirianhon.

⁵And the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadarezer king of Zobah, and David smote of the Syrians twenty-two thousand men.

⁶Unya si David nagbutang ug mga bantay nga sundalo sa Siria sa Damasco; ug ang mga Sirianhon nahimong mga alagad kang David, ug nanagbuhis. Ug si Jehova naghatag pagdaug kang David sa bisan diin siya mahiadto.

⁶And David put [garrisons] in Syria of Damascus; and the Syrians became servants to David, [and] brought gifts. And Jehovah preserved David whithersoever he went.

⁷Ug si David mikuha sa mga taming nga bulawan nga didto sa mga alagad ni Hadareser, ug gidala kini ngadto sa Jerusalem.

⁷And David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadarezer, and brought them to Jerusalem.

⁸Ug sukad sa Tibhath ug sukad sa Kun, mga lungsod ni Hadareser, si David nakakuha ug daghan kaayong tumbaga, nga gikan niini gihimo ni Salomon ang dagat-dagat nga tumbaga, ug ang mga haligi, ug ang mga sudlanang tumbaga.

⁸And from Tibhath, and from Chun, cities of Hadarezer, David took very much brass, of which Solomon made the brazen sea, and the pillars, and the vessels of brass.

⁹Ug sa diha nga si Tou hari sa Hamath nakadungog nga si David nakadaug sa tanang panon ni Hadareser hari sa Soba.

⁹And Tou king of Hamath heard that David had smitten all the forces of Hadarezer king of Zobah;

¹⁰Iyang gipaadto ang iyang anak nga lalake nga si Adoram ngadto kang David nga hari, aron sa paghatag katahuran kaniya, ug sa pagdayeg kaniya, tungod kay siya nakig-away batok kang Hadareser ug nakadaug kaniya (kay si Hadareser may gubat batok kang Tou); ug siya adunay mga nagkalainlaing sudlanan nga bulawan ug salapi ug tumbaga uban kaniya .

¹⁰and he sent Hadoram his son to king David to inquire of his welfare, and to congratulate him, because he had fought against Hadarezer and smitten him; for Hadarezer was continually at war with Tou; [he sent] also all manner of vessels of gold and silver and bronze.

¹¹Kini usab gihalad ni David nga hari ngadto kang Jehova, uban ang salapi ug ang bulawan nga iyang nadala gikan sa tanang mga nasud: gikan sa Edom, ug gikan sa Moab, ug gikan sa mga anak sa Ammon, ug gikan sa mga Filistehanon, ug gikan kang Amalec.

¹¹Them also king David dedicated to Jehovah, with the silver and the gold that he had brought from all the nations: from the Edomites, and from the Moabites, and from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from the Amalekites.

¹²Labut pa si Abisai anak nga lalake ni Sarvia nakamatay sa napulo ug walo ka libo nga Edomhanon didto sa Walog sa Asin.

¹²And Abishai the son of Zeruiah smote of the Edomites in the valley of salt eighteen thousand.

¹³Ug siya nagbutang ug mga bantay nga sundalo sa Edom; ug ang tanang mga Edomhanon nangahimong mga alagad kang David. Ug si Jehova naghatag kang David sa pagdaug bisan diin siya mahiadto.

¹³And he put garrisons in Edom; and all they of Edom became servants to David. And Jehovah preserved David whithersoever he went.

¹⁴Ug si David naghari sa ibabaw sa tibook Israel; ug gipakanaug niya ang justicia ug pagkamatarung sa tibook katawohan niya.

¹⁴And David reigned over all Israel, and executed judgment and justice to all his people.

¹⁵Ug si Joab ang anak nga lalake ni Sarvia diha sa ibabaw sa panon; ug si Josaphat ang anak nga lalake ni Ahilud maoy kalihim;

¹⁵And Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the host; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was chronicler;

¹⁶Ug si Sadoc anak nga lalake ni Achitob, ug si Abimelec anak nga lalake ni Abiathar, maoy mga sacerdote; ug si Sabsa maoy kalihim;

¹⁶and Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Abimelech the son of Abiathar, were the priests; and Shavsha was scribe;

¹⁷Ug si Benaias anak nga lalake ni Joiada pangulo sa mga Ceretnon ug Peletnon; ug ang mga anak nga lalake ni David maoy mga pangulo libut sa hari.

¹⁷and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and the sons of David were the first at the king's hand.
