¹Ug si hari Salomon mao ang hari sa tibook Israel.

¹And king Solomon was king over all Israel.

²Ug kini mao ang mga principe nga diha kaniya: si Azarias ang anak nga lalake ni Sadoc, nga sacerdote;

²And these are the princes whom he had: Azariah the son of Zadok was priest;

³Si Elioreph ug si Ahia, ang mga anak nga lalake ni Sisa, mga escriba: si Josaphat, ang anak nga lalake ni Ahilud, ang kalihim;

³Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, chronicler;

⁴Ug si Benaia, ang anak nga lalake ni Joiada, maoy pangulo sa panon, ug si Sadoc ug si Abiathar maoy mga sacerdote;

⁴and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host; and Zadok and Abiathar were priests;

⁵Ug si Azarias, ang anak nga lalake ni Nathan, maoy pangulo sa mga punoan; ug si Zabud, ang anak nga lalake ni Nathan maoy labawng pangulo sa mga magtatambag, ug higala sa hari;

⁵and Azariah the son of Nathan was over the superintendents; and Zabud the son of Nathan was principal officer, the king's friend;

⁶Ug si Ahisar maoy pangulo sa panimalay; ug si Adoniram, ang anak nga lalake ni Abda, maoy pangulo sa mga tawo nga ilalum sa bulohaton.

⁶and Ahishar was over the household; and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the levy-service.

⁷Ug si Salomon may napulo ug duha ka punoan sa ibabaw sa tibook Israel, nga nangandam sa mga makaon sa hari ug sa iyang panimalay: ang tagsatagsa ka tawo mag-andam sa pagkaon sulod sa usa ka bulan sa usa ka tuig.

⁷And Solomon had twelve superintendents over all Israel; and they provided food for the king and his household: each man his month in the year had to make provision.

⁸Ug kini mao ang ilang mga ngalan: Si Ben-hur, sa kabungtoran sa Ephraim;

⁸And these are their names: Ben-Hur, in mount Ephraim.

⁹Si Ben-decar, sa Maccas, ug sa Saalbim, ug si Beth-semes, ug si Elon-Beth-hanan;

⁹Ben-Deker in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Beth-shemesh, and Elon-Beth-hanan.

¹⁰Si Ben-hesed, sa Aruboth (kaniya ang Socho, ug ang tibook yuta sa Hepher);

¹⁰Ben-Hesed, in Arubboth; he had Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher.

¹¹Si Ben-abinadab, sa tanang kabungtoran sa Dor, (diha kaniya si Thaphat ang anak nga babaye ni Salomon aron pangasaw-on);

¹¹Ben-Abinadab had all the upland of Dor; Taphath the daughter of Solomon was his wife.

¹²Si Baan, ang anak nga lalake ni Ahilud, sa Taanach ug Meggiddo, ug sa tanang Beth-san nga tupad sa Zaretan, ubos sa Jezreel, sukad sa Beth-san ngadto sa Abel-mehola, ingon sa kahalayo sa unahan sa Jocumeam;

¹²Baana the son of Ahilud had Taanach and Megiddo, and all Beth-shean, which is by Zaretan beneath Jizreel, from Beth-shean to Abel-Meholah, as far as beyond Jokneam.

¹³Si Ben-geber, sa Ramoth-gilead (kaniya nahanungod ang mga lungsod ni Jair, ang anak nga lalake ni Manases, nga anaa sa Galaad; bisan kaniya nahanungod ang dapit sa Argob nga anaa sa Basan kan-uman ka dagkung ciudad nga may mga kuta ug mga igsesera nga pulos tumbaga);

¹³Ben-Geber, in Ramoth-Gilead; he had the villages of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; he had the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, sixty great cities with walls and bars of bronze.

¹⁴Ug si Abinadab, ang anak nga lalake ni Iddo, sa Mahanaim;

¹⁴Ahinadab the son of Iddo, at Mahanaim.

¹⁵Si Ahimaas, sa Nephtali (siya usab nangasawa kang Basemath, ang anak nga babaye ni Salomon);

¹⁵Ahimaaz, in Nephtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon as wife.

¹⁶Si Baana, ang anak nga lalake ni Husai, sa Aser ug sa Aloth;

¹⁶Baanah the son of Hushai, in Asher and in Aloth.

¹⁷Si Josaphat, ang anak nga lalake ni Pharua, sa Issachar:

¹⁷Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar.

¹⁸Si Semei, ang anak nga lalake ni Ela, sa Benjamin:

¹⁸Shimei the son of Ela, in Benjamin.

¹⁹Si Geber, ang anak nga lalake ni Uri, sa yuta sa Galaad, sa yuta ni hari Sehon sa mga Amorehanon, ug si Og, hari sa Basan; ug siya mao lamang ang punoan nga diha sa yuta.

¹⁹Geber the son of Uri, in the land of Gilead, the land of Sihon the king of the Amorites, and of Og the king of Bashan; and [he was] the only superintendent that was in the land.

²⁰Ang Juda ug Israel daghan kaayo ingon sa balas nga anaa sa lapyahan sa dagat sa pagkadaghan, nga nangaon, ug nanginum ug nanagkalipay.

²⁰Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking and making merry.

²¹Ug si Salomon naghari sa tanang mga gingharian sukad sa Suba ngadto sa yuta sa mga Filistehanon, ug ngadto sa utlanan sa Egipto; sila nanagdala ug buhis, ug nanag-alagad kang Salomon sa tanang mga adlaw sa iyang kinabuhi.

²¹And Solomon ruled over all kingdoms from the river to the land of the Philistines, and as far as the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.

²²Ug ang kang Salomon nga inandam nga makaon alang sa usa ka adlaw katloan ka takus nga harina nga fino, ug kan-uman ka takus nga linigis nga kalan-on,

²²And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and sixty measures of meal,

²³Napulo ka matambok nga vaca, ug kaluhaan ka vaca gikan sa mga sibsibanan, ug usa ka gatus nga carnero, labut pa sa mga baye nga lagsaw, ug mga ihalas nga kanding, ug mga magagmayng lagsaw nga lake, ug pinatambok nga langgam

²³ten fatted oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and a hundred sheep, besides harts, and gazelles, and fallow-deer, and fatted fowl.

²⁴Kay siya naghari sa ibabaw sa tibook yuta niining dapita sa Suba, gikan sa Tiphsa bisan hangtud sa Gaza, sa ibabaw sa tanang mga hari niining dapita sa Suba: ug siya may kalinaw sa tanang dapit nga nagalibut kaniya.

²⁴For he had dominion over all on this side the river, from Tiphsah as far as Gazah, over all the kings on this side the river; and he had peace on all sides round about.

²⁵Ug ang Juda ug Israel nagpuyo nga malig-on, ang tagsatagsa ilalum sa iyang parras ug sa iyang kahoy nga higuera, sukad sa Dan bisan ngadto sa Beersheba sa tanang mga adlaw ni Salomon.

²⁵And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig-tree, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, all the days of Solomon.

²⁶Ug si Salomon may kap-atan ka libo ka butanganan sa mga kabayo nga alang sa iyang mga carro, ug napulo ug duha ka libo ka mga mangangabayo.

²⁶And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

²⁷Ug kadtong mga punoan nanag-andam ug mga makaon alang sa hari nga si Salomon, ug alang sa tanang mahianha sa lamesa ni Salomon nga hari, ang tagsatagsa ka tawo sa iyang bulan, wala gayud ing gipakulang nila.

²⁷And those officers provided food for king Solomon, and for all who came to king Solomon's table, every man in his month: they let nothing be wanting.

²⁸Cebada usab ug dagami alang sa mga kabayo ug sa mga matulin nga mga kabayo gidala nila ngadto sa dapit diin ang mga punoan , ang tagsatagsa ka tawo sumala sa iyang katungdanan.

²⁸And the barley, and the straw for the horses and coursers, they brought to the place where [the superintendents] were, every man according to his charge.

²⁹Ug ang Dios mihatag kang Salomon sa kaalam ug kahibalo nga hilabihan gayud, ug kadaku sa kasingkasing, sama sa balas nga anaa sa baybayon.

²⁹And God gave Solomon wisdom and very great understanding and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea-shore.

³⁰Ug ang kaalam ni Salomon milabaw sa kaalam sa tanang mga anak sa silangan, ug sa tanang kaalam sa Egipto.

³⁰And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the sons of the east, and all the wisdom of Egypt.

³¹Kay siya labi pang maalam kay sa tanang mga tawo; kay kang Ethan, ang Ezrahanon, ug kang Eman, ug kang Calchol, ug kang Darda, ang mga anak nga lalake ni Mahol: ug ang iyang kabantug diha sa tanang mga nasud nga nagalibut.

³¹For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Calcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol; and his fame was in all the nations round about.

³²Ug siya namulong ug totolo ka libo nga mga proverbio ug ang iyang mga awit usa ka libo ug lima.

³²And he spoke three thousand proverbs; and his songs were a thousand and five.

³³Ug siya naghisgut mahitungod sa mga kahoy, sukad sa cedro nga anaa sa Libano bisan hangtud sa hisopo nga nagturok sa kuta: siya naghisgut usab mahitungod sa mga mananap, ug mahitungod sa mga langgam, ug mahitungod sa mga nagakamang sa yuta, ug mahitungod sa mga isda.

³³And he spoke of the trees, from the cedar-tree that is on Lebanon even to the hyssop that springs out of the wall; he spoke also of cattle, and of fowls, and of creeping things, and of fishes.

³⁴Ug nangadto didto gikan sa tanang mga katawohan aron sa pagpamati sa kaalam ni Salomon, gikan sa tanang mga hari sa mga yuta nga nakadungog sa iyang kaalam.

³⁴And there came of all peoples to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all the kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom.
