¹Ang pulong nga nakita ni Isaias anak nga lalake ni Amoz, mahatungod sa Juda ug Jerusalem.

¹The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

²Ug mahinabo sa ulahing mga adlaw nga ang bukid sa balay ni Jehova pagatukoron sa ibabaw sa tumoy sa kabukiran, ug igatuboy ibabaw sa mga bungtod; ug ang tanang mga nasud magaganayan ngadto kaniya.

²And it shall come to pass in the end of days, [that] the mountain of Jehovah's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be lifted up above the hills; and all the nations shall flow unto it.

³Ug ang daghang mga katawohan mangadto ug manag-ingon: Umari kamo, ug manungas kita sa bukid ni Jehova, ngadto sa balay sa Dios ni Jacob; ug kita pagatudloan niya sa iyang mga dalan, ug manlakat kita sa iyang mga alagianan: kay gikan sa Sion mogula ang kasugoan, ug ang pulong ni Jehova gikan sa Jerusalem.

³And many peoples shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and Jehovah's word from Jerusalem.

⁴Ug siya magahukom sa taliwala sa mga nasud, ug magapahimangno sa daghang mga katawohan; ug ang ilang mga espada, ilang himoon nga mga punta sa daro, ug ang ilang mga bangkaw himoon nga mga galab; usa ka nasud dili mobakyaw sa espada batok sa usa nasud, ug dili na gayud makakat-on sila mahitungod sa gubat.

⁴And he shall judge among the nations, and shall reprove many peoples; and they shall forge their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning-knives: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

⁵Oh balay ni Jacob, umari kamo, ug manlakaw kita sa kahayag ni Jehova.

⁵House of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of Jehovah.

⁶Kay imong gibiyaan ang imong katawohan ang balay ni Jacob, kay napuno sila sa mga balasan nga gikan sa silangan, ug mga molomanalagna sama sa Filistehanon ug magahiusa uban sa mga anak sa mga lumalangyaw.

⁶For thou hast cast off thy people, the house of Jacob, because they are filled [with what comes] from the east, and use auguries like the Philistines, and ally themselves with the children of foreigners.

⁷Ug ang ilang yuta napuno sa salapi ug bulawan, ni may katapusan ang ilang mga bahandi; ang ilang yuta usab napuno sa mga kabayo, ni may katapusan ang ilang mga carro.

⁷And their land is full of silver and gold, and there is no end of their treasures: their land also is full of horses, and there is no end of their chariots.

⁸Ang ilang yuta usab napuno sa mga larawan; ilang ginasimba ang buhat sa ilang kaugalingong mga kamot, kadtong hinimo sa kaugalingon nilang mga tudlo.

⁸And their land is full of idols; they bow themselves down to the work of their own hands, to that which their fingers have made.

⁹Ug ang tawo nga dautan ginayukboan, ug ang tawo nga daku ginapaubos: sa ingon niana ayaw sila pagpasayloa.

⁹And the mean man shall be bowed down, and the great man shall be brought low: and do not thou forgive them!

¹⁰Sumulod ka sa bato, ug tumago ka diha sa abug, gikan sa kalisang kang Jehova, ug gikan sa himaya sa iyang pagkahalangdon.

¹⁰Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty.

¹¹Ang mapahitas-ong panan-aw sa tawo igapaubos, ug ang kagarbo sa katawohan igapaubos, ug si Jehova lamang maoy igatuboy niadtong adlawa.

¹¹The lofty eyes of man shall be brought low, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.

¹²Kay may adlaw ra ni Jehova sa mga panon batok sa tanang palabilabihon ug mapahitas-on, batok sa tanang tinuboy; ug kini pagapaubson;

¹²For there shall be a day of Jehovah of hosts upon everything proud and lofty, and upon everything lifted up, and it shall be brought low;

¹³Ug batok sa tanang mga cedro sa Libano, nga hatag-as ug malabong, ug batok sa tanang mga kahoyng encina sa Basan,

¹³and upon all the cedars of Lebanon, high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan;

¹⁴Ug batok sa tanang hatag-as nga mga bukid, ug batok sa tanang mga bungtod nga tinuboy,

¹⁴and upon all the lofty mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up;

¹⁵Ug batok sa tagsatagsa ka hatag-as nga torre, ug batok sa tagsatagsa ka kuta nga malig-on;

¹⁵and upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall;

¹⁶Ug batok sa tanang mga sakayan sa Tarsis, ug batok sa tanang matahum nga mga larawan sa hunahuna.

¹⁶and upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant works of art.

¹⁷Ug ang pagkamapahitas-on sa tawo pagabawogon, ug ang kagarbo sa mga tawo pagapaubson; ug si Jehova lamang igatuboy niadtong adlawa.

¹⁷And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day:

¹⁸Ug ang mga larawan mangawagtang gayud sa hingpit.

¹⁸and the idols shall utterly pass away.

¹⁹Ug ang mga tawo manulod sa mga langub sa mga bato, ug ngadto sa mga lungib sa yuta, gikan sa kalisang kang Jehova, ug gikan sa himaya sa iyang pagkahalangdon, sa diha nga siya motindog aron sa pag-uyog pag-ayo sa yuta.

¹⁹And they shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the earth, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty, when he shall arise to terrify the earth.

²⁰Niadtong adlawa igasalikway sa mga tawo ang ilang mga larawan nga salapi, ug ang ilang mga larawan nga bulawan, nga gibuhat aron simbahon nila, igasalibay ngadto sa mga ilaga ug sa mga kabug:

²⁰In that day men shall cast away their idols of silver and their idols of gold, which they made [each] for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;

²¹Aron igasulod sa mga langub sa ligating, ug ngadto sa mga gansanggansangon nga mga bato, gikan sa kalisang kang Jehova, ug gikan sa himaya sa iyang pagkahalangdon, sa diha nga siya motindog aron sa pag-uyog pag-ayo sa yuta.

²¹to go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the fissures of the cliffs, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty, when he shall arise to terrify the earth.

²²Biyai ninyo ang tawo, kansang gininhawa anaa lamang sa iyang ilong; kay sa unsa man nga paagi siya pagatagdon?

²²Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils; for what account is to be made of him?
