¹Dumuol kamo, kamong mga nasud, aron sa pagpamati; ug patalinghug kamo, kamo nga mga katawohan: padungga ang yuta, ug ang pagkapuno niana; ang kalibutan, ug ang tanan nga mga butang nga magagula gikan niini.

¹Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye peoples: let the earth hear, and all its fulness; the world, and all that cometh forth of it.

²Kay si Jehova adunay kasilag batok sa tanang mga nasud, ug kaligutgut batok sa tanan nilang panon sa kasundalohan : iyong gilaglag gayud sila, iyang gitugyan sila sa ihawan.

²For the wrath of Jehovah is against all the nations, and [his] fury against all their armies: he hath devoted them to destruction, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.

³Ang ila usab nga mga minatay igasalibay, ug ang kabaho sa ilang mga minatay moalisbo; ug ang mga bukid mangatunaw tungod sa ilang dugo.

³And their slain shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up from their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.

⁴Ug ang tanan nga panon langit matunaw, ug ang mga langit pagalukoton ingon sa usa ka linukot nga basahon, ug ang tanan nilang panon mahanaw, ingon sa dahon nga magakalarag gikan sa parras, ug ingon sa usa ka nagakalarag nga dahon sa iguera.

⁴And all the host of the heavens shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll; and all their host shall fade away, as a leaf fadeth from off the vine, and as the withered [fruit] from the fig-tree.

⁵Kay ang akong espada nag-inum hangtud sa iyang pagkahubog didto sa langit: ania karon, kini manaug ibabaw sa Edom, ug ibabaw sa katawohan sa akong pagtunglo, aron pagahukman.

⁵For my sword is bathed in the heavens; behold, it shall come down upon Edom, and upon the people of my ban, to judgment.

⁶Ang espada ni Jehova natina sa dugo, kini gipasupang sa katambok, uban sa dugo sa mga nating carnero ug mga kanding, uban sa matambok nga mga amimislon sa mga lakeng carnero; kay si Jehova adunay paghalad sa Bosra, ug usa ka dakung pag-ihaw sa yuta sa Edom.

⁶The sword of Jehovah is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams; for Jehovah hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom.

⁷Ug ang ihalas nga mga vaca molugsong uban kanila, ug ang mga toriyong vaca uban sa mga toro: ug ang ilang yuta mahubog sa dugo, ug ang ilang abug mosupang sa katambok.

⁷And the buffaloes shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.

⁸Kay si Jehova adunay usa ka adlaw sa pagpanimalus, usa ka tuig sa pagbalus tungod sa katungod sa Sion.

⁸For it is the day of Jehovah's vengeance, the year of recompenses for the controversy of Zion.

⁹Ug ang mga sapa sa Edom himoon nga salong, ug ang abug niini himoon nga azufre, ug ang yuta niini mahimo nga salong nga nagakasunog.

⁹And the torrents thereof shall be turned into pitch, and its dust into brimstone; yea, the land thereof shall become burning pitch:

¹⁰Kini dili mapalong sa gabii ni sa adlaw; ang aso niini moutbo sa itaas sa walay katapusan; gikan sa kaliwatan ngadto sa kaliwatan kini magapabilin nga kamingawan, walay molatas niini sa gihapon ug sa walay katapusan.

¹⁰it shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.

¹¹Apan ang tulabong ug ang heriso magapanag-iya niini; ug ang ngiw-ngiw ug ang uwak magapuyo niini: ug iyang pagatuy-oron sa ibabaw niini ang pisi sa kasamok, ug ang tonton sa pagkawalay sulod.

¹¹And the pelican and the bittern shall possess it, and the great owl and the raven shall dwell in it. And he shall stretch out upon it the line of waste, and the plummets of emptiness.

¹²Ilang tawgon ang mga harianon niini ngadto sa gingharian, apan walay mausa nga motungha didto: ug ang tanan niyang mga principe walay gingharian.

¹²Of her nobles who should proclaim the kingdom, none are there; and all her princes shall be nought.

¹³Ug ang mga tunok moturok sa ilang mga palacio, ang mga kadyapa ug sampinit diha sa mga salipdanan niini: ug kini mahimong puloy-anan sa mga iro nga ihalas, ug sulodlan sa mga avestruz.

¹³And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in her fortresses; and it shall be a dwelling-place of wild dogs, a court for ostriches.

¹⁴Ug ang mga mananap nga ihalas sa kamingawan makigtagbo sa mga lobo, ug ang kanding nga ihalas magatawag sa iyang kauban; oo, ang mananap nga mapintas sa kagabhion mopuyo didto, ug makakaplag niini nga dapit nga kapahulayan.

¹⁴And there shall the beasts of the desert meet with the jackals, and the wild goat shall cry to his fellow; the lilith also shall settle there, and find for herself a place of rest.

¹⁵Didto ang halas magabuhat sa iyang salag, ug mangitlog, ug mamusa, ug mosikop sa iyang landong; oo, didto ang mga ananangkil managtipon, ang tagsatagsa uban sa iyang kauban.

¹⁵There shall the arrow-snake make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow; there also shall the vultures be gathered one with another.

¹⁶Susiha ninyo gikan sa basahon ni Jehova, ug basaha: walay usa niini nga mawala, walay makulangan sa iyang kauban; kay ang akong baba, kini nagsugo na ug ang iyang Espiritu, maoy nagtigum kanila.

¹⁶Search ye in the book of Jehovah and read: not one of these shall fail, one shall not have to seek for the other; for my mouth, it hath commanded, and his Spirit, it hath gathered them.

¹⁷Ug iyang gipapalaran alang kanila ug gibahinbahin kini kanila sa iyang kamot pinaagi sa badlis; sila manag-iya niini sa walay katapusan; gikan sa kaliwatan ngadto sa kaliwatan sila magapuyo niini.

¹⁷For he himself hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them with the line: they shall possess it for ever; from generation to generation shall they dwell therein.
