¹Unya miingon si Jehova kanako: Bisan pa si Moises ug si Samuel mitindog sa akong atubangan, ang akong hunahuna dili motagad niini nga katawohan, papahawaa sila gikan sa akong pagtan-aw, ug palakta sila.

¹And Jehovah said unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, my soul [would] not [turn] toward this people. Send [them] out of my sight, and let them go forth.

²Ug mahatabo, sa diha nga sila moingon kanimo: Asa man kami paingon? unya sultihan mo sila: Kini mao ang giingon ni Jehova: Kadtong alang sa kamatayon, ngadto sa kamatayon; ug kadtong alang sa espada, ngadto sa espada; kadtong alang sa gutom ngadto sa gutom; ug kadtong alang sa pagkabinihag, ngadto sa pagkabinihag.

²And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith Jehovah: Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for captivity, to captivity.

³Ug ako magatudlo sa ibabaw nila ug upat ka matang sa castigo , nagaingon si Jehova: ang espada nga igpapatay, ug ang iro nga mokunis-kunis, ug ang mga langgam sa kalangitan, ug ang mga mananap sa yuta, nga molamoy ug molaglag kanila .

³For I will visit them with four kinds [of punishments], saith Jehovah: the sword to slay, and dogs to tear, and the fowl of the heavens, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and to destroy.

⁴Ug sila ipatugpo-tugpo ko sa tanang mga gingharian sa yuta, tungod kang Manases ang anak nga lalake ni Ezechias, hari sa Juda, tungod nianang iyang gibuhat sa Jerusalem.

⁴And I will give them over to be driven hither and thither amongst all the kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah, king of Judah, for that which he did in Jerusalem.

⁵Kay kinsa ba ang may kalooy kanimo, Oh Jerusalem? kun kinsay magabakho tungod kanimo? kun kinsay moanhi sa pagpangutana tungod sa imong kahimtang?

⁵For who shall have pity upon thee, Jerusalem? and who shall bemoan thee? and who shall turn aside to ask after thy welfare?

⁶Gisalikway mo ako, nagaingon si Jehova, milakaw ka nga nagasibog: busa gituy-od ko ang akong kamot batok kanimo, ug gilaglag ko ikaw; gikapuyan na ako sa paghinulsol.

⁶Thou hast cast me off, saith Jehovah, thou art gone backward; and I have stretched out my hand against thee, and will destroy thee: I am become weary of repenting.

⁷Ug gialig-ig ko sila pinaagi sa usa ka nigo diha sa mga ganghaan sa yuta; sila gikuhaan ko sa ilang mga anak; akong gilaglag ang akong katawohan; kay sila wala mobalik gikan sa ilang mga dalan.

⁷And I will fan them with a fan in the gates of the land; I will bereave of children [and] destroy my people: they have not returned from their ways.

⁸Ang ilang mga balong babaye gipadaghan ko labaw pa sa balas sa kadagatan: sa kaudtohon gipadala ko kanila ang maglalaglag batok sa inahan sa mga batan-ong lalake: ang kasakit ug ang kalisang gihulog ko sa kalit sa ibabaw niya.

⁸Their widows are increased to me more than the sand of the seas; I have brought upon them, against the mother of the young men, a spoiler at noonday; I have caused anguish and terror to fall upon her suddenly.

⁹Nagaanam ug kaniwang ang nagaanak ug pito; namatay siya; ang iyang adlaw misalop na samtang adlawan pa: siya gipakaulawan ug nalibog: ug ang mahibilin kanila igatugyan ko sa espada sa atubangan sa ilang mga kaaway, nagaingon si Jehova.

⁹She that hath borne seven languisheth, she hath given up the ghost; her sun is gone down while it is yet day; she is put to shame and confounded. And the residue of them will I give up to the sword before their enemies, saith Jehovah.

¹⁰Alaut ako, inahan ko, nga imong gipanganak ako nga tawo sa pagpakiglalis ug tawo sa pagpakigbisog sa tibook nga yuta! Ako wala magpahulam, ni nagapahulam ang mga tawo kanako; bisan pa niana ang tagsatagsa kanila nagatunglo kanako.

¹⁰Woe is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole land! I have not lent on usury, nor have they lent to me on usury; [yet] every one of them doth curse me.

¹¹Si Jehova miingon: Sa pagkamatuod, ako magpalig-on kanimo sa gihapon; sa pagkamatuod pagahimoon ko nga magapakilooy kanimo ang imong kaaway sa panahon sa kadaut ug sa panahon sa kasakit.

¹¹Jehovah said, Verily I will set thee free for [thy] good; verily I will cause the enemy to meet thee kindly in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.

¹²May makabunggo ba sa puthaw, bisan sa puthaw ug sa tumbaga nga gikan sa amihanan?

¹²Will iron break? iron from the north? and bronze?

¹³Ang imong katigayonan ug ang imong mga bahandi ihatag ko nga inagaw nga walay bili, ug kana tungod sa tanan mong mga sala, bisan diha sa tanan mong mga utlanan.

¹³Thy substance and thy treasures will I give to the spoil without price, and that for all thy sins, and in all thy borders;

¹⁴Ug paagion ko sila uban sa imong mga kaaway ngadto sa yuta nga wala mo hibaloi: kay ang kalayo nahaling dinhi sa akong kasuko, nga kaninyo magasunog.

¹⁴and I will make [them] to pass with thine enemies into a land that thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in mine anger; it shall burn upon you.

¹⁵Oh Jehova, ikaw nasayud; hinumdumi ako, ug du-awa ako, ug ipanimalus ako sa mga nagalutos kanako; ayaw ako pagkuhaa diha sa imong pagkamapailubon: hibaloi nga tungod kanimo ako nag-antus nga gipakaulawan.

¹⁵Jehovah, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and avenge me of my persecutors; in thy long-suffering take me not away: know that for thy sake I bear reproach.

¹⁶Ang imong mga pulong hikaplagan, ug gikaon ko sila; ug ang imong mga pulong alang kanako maoy kalipay ug pagmaya sa akong kasingkasing: kay ako ginatawag sa imong ngalan, Oh Jehova, Dios sa mga panon.

¹⁶Thy words were found, and I did eat them, and thy words were unto me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; for I am called by thy name, O Jehovah, God of hosts.

¹⁷Ako wala molingkod diha sa katiguman sa mga nanaghudyaka, ni nagkalipay ako; ako milingkod nga nag-inusara tungod sa imong kamot: kay ako gipuno mo sa kaligutgut.

¹⁷I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor exulted: I sat alone because of thy hand; for thou hast filled me with indignation.

¹⁸Ngano ba nga ang akong kasakit walay paghunong, ug ang akong samad walay pagkaalim, nga nagadumili sa pagkaayo? mahimo ba nga ikaw alang kanako maoy usa ka malimbongan nga sapa , ingon sa mga tubig nga mokutat?

¹⁸Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable? It refuseth to be healed. Wilt thou be altogether unto me as a treacherous [spring], [as] waters that fail?

¹⁹Busa mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova: Kong mobalik ikaw kanako nan dad-on ko ikaw pag-usab, aron ka makatindog sa akong atubangan; ug kong gahinon mo ang bililhon gikan sa mangil-ad, mahisama ka sa akong baba: sila mobalik kanimo, apan ikaw dili mobalik ngadto kanila.

¹⁹Therefore thus saith Jehovah: If thou return, then will I bring thee again, thou shalt stand before me; and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth. Let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.

²⁰Ug buhaton ko ikaw alang niining mga katawohan nga usa ka linig-onan nga kuta nga tumbaga: ug sila makig-away batok kanimo, apan sila dili makadaug kanimo; kay ako magauban kanimo sa pagluwas kanimo ug sa pagbawi kanimo, nagaingon si Jehova.

²⁰And I will make thee unto this people a strong brazen wall; and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee, to save thee and to deliver thee, saith Jehovah;

²¹Ug bawion ko ikaw gikan sa kamot sa mga tawong dautan, ug tubson ko ikaw gikan sa kamot sa mga tawong mabangis.

²¹yea, I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.
