¹Ug ang nahulog sa palad sa mga anak ni Jose, gikan sa Jordan sa Jerico sa mga tubig sa Jerico dapit sa silangan, bisan pa ang kamingawan, nga nagatungas gikan sa Jerico ngadto sa kabungtoran ug dayon na sa Beth-el:

¹And the lot came forth for the children of Joseph from the Jordan of Jericho as far as the waters of Jericho eastwards, to the wilderness which goes up from Jericho to the hill-country of Bethel.

²Ug gikan sa Beth-el napaingon ngadto sa Luz, ug milabay dapit sa utlanan sa mga Arkianhon sa Ataroth;

²And [the border] went from Bethel to Luz, and passed to the border of the Archites to Ataroth,

³Ug kana milugsong ngadto sa kasadpan sa utlanan sa mga Hapletanon, ngadto sa utlanan sa Beth-oron, ang kinaubsan, ug ngadto sa Gezer; ug ang mga gulaanan didto napaingon ngadto sa dagat.

³and went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, as far as the border of the lower Beth-horon, and to Gezer; and ended at the sea.

⁴Ug ang mga anak ni Jose, si Manases ug si Ephraim mingkuha sa ilang mga panulondon.

⁴And the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.

⁵Ug ang utlanan sa mga anak ni Ephraim sumala sa ilang mga panimalay mao kini : ang utlanan sa ilang panulondon paingon ngadto sa silangan, mao ang Ataroth-addar, ngadto sa Beth-oron ang nahataas;

⁵And the border of the children of Ephraim was according to their families; the border of their inheritance eastwards was Ataroth-Addar as far as the upper Beth-horon;

⁶Ug ang utlanan nagpadayon ngadto sa kasadpan didto sa Michmetath dapit sa amihanan; ug ang utlanan misaliko paingon sa silangan ngadto sa Taanath-silo, ug milabay niana dapit sa silangan sa Janoa;

⁶and the border went forth westwards to Micmethath on the north; and the border turned eastwards to Taanath-Shiloh, and passed by it eastwards to Janohah,

⁷Ug kana milugsong gikan sa Janoa ngadto sa Ataroth, ug sa Naarar, ug miabut ngadto sa Jerico, ug minggula didto sa Jordan.

⁷and went down from Janohah to Ataroth and Naarath, and touched upon Jericho, and went out to the Jordan.

⁸Sukad sa Tappua ang utlanan napaingon ngadto sa kasadpan ngadto sa sapa sa Cana; ug ang mga gulaanan didto padulong ngadto sa dagat. Kini mao ang panulondon sa banay sa mga anak ni Ephraim sumala sa ilang mga panimalay:

⁸From Tappuah the border went westwards to the torrent Kanah, and ended at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families,

⁹Lakip ang mga ciudad nga nahabahin alang sa mga anak ni Ephraim sa kinataliwad-an sa panulondon sa mga anak ni Manases, ang tanang mga ciudad, lakip ang ilang mga balangay.

⁹with the cities that were set apart for the children of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities and their hamlets.

¹⁰Ug wala nila papahawaa ang mga Canaanhon nga namuyo didto sa Geser; apan ang mga Canaanhon namuyo sa kinataliwad-an sa Ephraim hangtud niining adlawa, ug nahimong mga ulipon sa pagbuhat sa mga bulohaton sa pintakasi.

¹⁰But they did not dispossess the Canaanites that dwelt at Gezer; and the Canaanites dwell in the midst of Ephraim to this day, and serve under tribute.
