¹Ug si Jehova misulti kang Moises didto sa bukid sa Sinai, nga nagaingon:

¹And Jehovah spoke to Moses in mount Sinai, saying,

²Sultihan mo ang mga anak sa Israel, ug ipamulong mo kanila: Sa inyong pagsulod sa yuta nga gihatag ko kaninyo, nan ang yuta magabantay sa usa ka pagpahulay alang kang Jehova.

²Speak unto the children of Israel and say unto them, When ye come into the land that I will give you, the land shall celebrate a sabbath to Jehovah.

³Sa unom ka tuig magapugas ka sa imong yuta, ug sa unom ka tuig magakapon ka sa imong parrasan ug magapupo sa mga bunga niini;

³Six years shalt thou sow thy field, and six years shalt thou prune thy vineyard, and gather in the produce thereof,

⁴Apan sa ikapito ka tuig maoy usa ka tuig nga igpapahulay sa pahulay nga balaan alang sa yuta, usa ka pahulay ngadto kang Jehova: dili mo pagpugsan ang imong yuta, ni magakapon ka sa imong parrasan.

⁴but in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest for the land, a sabbath to Jehovah. Thy field shalt thou not sow, and thy vineyard shalt thou not prune.

⁵Kadtong moturok sa imong yuta gikan sa iyang kaugalingon, dili mo pag-anihon, ug ang mga parras sa imong parrasan nga wala mahinloi, dili mo pagpupoon: kini mao ang tuig sa balaan nga pahulay alang sa yuta.

⁵That which springeth up from the scattered seed of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, and the grapes of thine undressed vines thou shalt not gather: a year of rest shall it be for the land.

⁶Ug ang tuig sa pagpahulay sa yuta mamahimo nga kalan-on ninyo; alang kanimo, ug sa imong alagad nga lalake, ug sa imong alagad nga babaye, ug sa imong ulipon nga lalake, ug sa imong dumuloong nga magapuyo uban kanimo.

⁶And the sabbath of the land shall be for food for you, for thee, and for thy bondman, and for thy handmaid, and for thy hired servant, and for him that dwelleth as a sojourner with thee, and for thy cattle,

⁷Ug sa imong mga vaca ug sa kamananapan nga anaa sa imong yuta, ang tanan nga bunga niini mamahimo nga kalan-on.

⁷and for the beasts that are in thy land: all the produce thereof shall be for food.

⁸Ug mag-isip ka ug pito ka mga pagpahulay nga mga tuig alang kanimo, makapito piloa ang pito ka tuig; ug niana ang mga adlaw sa pito ka mga pagpahulay sa mga tuig, mahimo kanimo nga kap-atan ug siyam ka tuig.

⁸And thou shalt count seven sabbaths of years, seven times seven years; so that the days of the seven sabbaths of years be unto thee forty-nine years.

⁹Unya igapalibud mo ang trompeta nga makusog sa ikapulo ka adlaw sa ikapito ka bulan; sa adlaw sa pagtabon-sa-sala, igapalibud ninyo ang trompeta ngadto sa tibook ninyong yuta.

⁹Then shalt thou cause the loud sound of the trumpet to go forth in the seventh month, on the tenth of the month; on the day of atonement shall ye cause the trumpet to go forth throughout your land.

¹⁰Ug pagabalaanon ninyo ang ikakalim-an ka tuig, ug igamantala ninyo ang kagawasan ngadto sa tibook nga yuta alang sa tanang mga pumoluyo niini: kini mamao ang tinghugyaw alang kaninyo; ug managbalik kamo ang tagsatagsa ka tawo ngadto sa iyang kaugalingong yuta, ug ang tagsatagsa magbalik sa iyang panimalay.

¹⁰And ye shall hallow the year of the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty in the land unto all the inhabitants thereof; a [year of] jubilee shall it be unto you, and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family;

¹¹Kadtong tuig nga ikakalim-an mamao ang tinghugyaw alang kaninyo: dili kamo managpugas ni mag-ani kamo sa moturok sa iyang kaugalingon diha sa yuta, ni magapupo kamo sa parras sa parrasan niini nga wala mahinloi.

¹¹a year of jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap its aftergrowth, nor gather [the fruit of] its undressed vines.

¹²Kay mao kini ang tinghugyaw: kini balaan alang kaninyo: ang abut sa yuta pagakan-on ninyo.

¹²For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you; out of the field shall ye eat its produce.

¹³Niining tuiga sa tinghugyaw mamauli kamo ang tagsatagsa ka tawo sa iyang kaugalingong yuta.

¹³In this year of the jubilee ye shall return every man unto his possession.

¹⁴Ug kong magabaligya ikaw ug bisan unsa sa imong isigkatawo, kun magapalit ikaw sa imong isigkatawo, dili kamo maglimbong ang usa ug usa.

¹⁴And if ye sell ought unto your neighbour, or buy of your neighbour's hand, ye shall not overreach one another.

¹⁵Sumala sa gidaghanon sa mga tuig sa human na ang tinghugyaw magapalit ka gikan sa imong isigkatawo; sumala sa gidaghanon sa mga tuig sa mga abut nga igabaligya niya kanimo.

¹⁵According to the number of years since the jubilee, thou shalt buy of thy neighbour; according to the number of years of the produce, he shall sell unto thee.

¹⁶Sumala sa gidaghanon sa mga tuig pagadugangan mo ang bili niini, ug sumala sa pagkadiyutay sa mga tuig pagakunhoran mo ang bili niini; tungod sa gidaghanon sa mga abut nga iyang gibaligya kanimo.

¹⁶According to the greater number of the years, thou shalt increase the price thereof; and according to the fewness of years, thou shalt diminish the price of it; for it is the number of crops that he selleth unto thee.

¹⁷Ug kamo dili maglimbongay ang usa ug usa; kondili magakahadlok ka sa imong Dios, kay ako mao si Jehova nga inyong Dios.

¹⁷And ye shall not oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God; for I am Jehovah your God.

¹⁸Busa, pagabuhaton ninyo ang akong kabalaoran, ug bantayan ninyo ang akong mga tulomanon, ug buhaton ninyo sila; ug magapuyo kamo sa yuta nga gawas sa kadautan.

¹⁸And ye shall do my statutes, and observe mine ordinances and do them: thus shall ye dwell in your land securely.

¹⁹Ug ang yuta magahatag sa iyang abut, ug magakaon kamo hangtud sa pagkabusog, ug magapuyo kamo niini nga gawas sa kadautan.

¹⁹And the land shall yield its fruit, and ye shall eat and be satisfied, and dwell therein securely.

²⁰Ug kong moingon kamo: Unsa man ang among pagakan-on sa ikapito ka tuig? ania karon, kami dili makapugas, dili usab makaani sa among mga abut:

²⁰And if ye say, What shall we eat in the seventh year? behold, we may not sow, nor gather in our produce;

²¹Unya magapadala ako sa akong panalangin kaninyo sa ikaunom ka tuig, ug kini magapamunga alang sa totolo ka tuig.

²¹then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, that it may bring forth produce for three years;

²²Ug managpugas kamo sa ikawalo ka tuig, ug magakaon kamo sa mga bunga, sa daan nga abut; hangtud sa tuig nga ikasiyam, hangtud nga moabut ang iyang abut, magakaon pa kamo sa daan nga abut.

²²and ye shall sow in the eighth year, and ye shall eat of the old fruit until the ninth year; until her produce come in, ye shall eat the old.

²³Ug ang yuta dili igabaligya nga sa walay katapusan, kay ang yuta ako man: kay kamo mga lumalangyaw, ug mga dumuloong uban kanako.

²³And the land shall not be sold for ever; for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.

²⁴Ug sa tanan nga yuta nga inyong kaugalingon, magahatag kamo sa paglukat sa yuta.

²⁴And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.

²⁵Kong ang imong igsoon mahimong kabus, ug magabaligya ug diyutay niadtong iya na nga kaugalingong yuta, nan moanha ang iyang labing duol nga kabanayan, ug pagalukaton niya ang gibaligya sa iyang igsoon.

²⁵If thy brother grow poor, and sell of his possession, then shall his redeemer, his nearest relation, come and redeem that which his brother sold.

²⁶Ug kong ang tawo walay usa nga maglukat niana, ug mamahimo siya nga adunahan, ug makakaplag siya ug igo nga sa iyang paglakat niana,

²⁶And if the man have no one having right of redemption, and his hand have acquired and found what sufficeth for its redemption,

²⁷Nan pagaisipon niya ang mga tuig sa paghibaligya niana, ug ipauli niya ang kapin ngadto sa tawo nga iyang gibaligyaan, ug magauli siya ngadto sa iyang kaugalingong yuta.

²⁷then shall he reckon the years since the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; and so return unto his possession.

²⁸Apan kong siya dili makaabut sa igo aron kini maulian niya sa pagpalit, nan ang iyang gibaligya mahabilin sa kamot sa magpapalit niini hangtud sa tuig sa tinghugyaw: ug sa tinghuyaw kini mahigawas kaniya , ug siya mopauli ngadto sa iyang kaugalingong yuta.

²⁸And if his hand have not found what sufficeth for him to restore it to him, then that which is sold shall remain in the hand of the purchaser, until the year of jubilee; and in the jubilee it shall go out, and he shall return unto his possession.

²⁹Ug kong usa ka tawo magabaligya ug balay nga puloy-anan sa lungsod nga pinarel, nan siya may gahum sa paglukat niini sulod sa tibook nga tuig sa tapus kini ikabaligya; kay sa tibook nga tuig may katungod siya sa paglukat niini.

²⁹And if any one sell a dwelling-house in a walled city, then he shall have the right of redemption up to the end of the year of the sale thereof; for a full year shall he have the right of redemption.

³⁰Ug kong kini dili malukat sulod sa tibook nga usa ka tuig, nan ang balay nga atua sa lungsod nga pinarel magpabilin nga sa gihapon niadtong nakapalit niini, ngadto sa iyang mga kaliwatan: kini dili mahigawas sa panahon sa tinghugyaw.

³⁰But if it be not redeemed until a whole year is complete, then the house that is in the walled city shall be established for ever to him that bought it, throughout his generations: it shall not go out in the jubilee.

³¹Apan ang mga balay didto sa mga balangay nga wala libuti ug kuta, pagaisipon nga ingon sa mga uma sa gawas sa lungsod: kini mahimo nga lukaton, ug mahigawas sila sa tinghugyaw.

³¹But the houses in villages that have no wall round about them shall be reckoned as the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubilee.

³²Apan ang mga lungsod sa mga Levihanon, ang mga balay sa mga lungsod nga naangkon nila, mahimong lukaton sa mga Levihanon sa bisan unsang panahona.

³²But as to the cities of the Levites, the houses in the cities of their possession, the Levites shall have a perpetual right of redemption.

³³Ug kong ang magalukat niini , usa man sa mga Levihanon, nan ang balay nga gibaligya, ug ang lungsod nga iyang kaugalingon mahigawas sa panahon sa tinghugyaw: kay ang mga balay sa mga lungsod sa mga Levihanon kaugalingon man nila sa taliwala sa mga anak sa Israel.

³³And if any one redeem from one of the Levites, then the house that was sold, in the city of his possession, shall go out in the jubilee; for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children of Israel.

³⁴Apan ang yuta sa mga pasibsibanan sa ilang mga kalungsoran dili mahimo nga ikabaligya; kay kini mao ang mga butang nga ilang kaugalingon nga dayon.

³⁴And the field of the suburbs of their cities shall not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession.

³⁵Ug kong ang imong igsoon mahimong kabus, ug modangup siya kanimo, nan tabangan mo siya: magapuyo siya uban kanimo ingon sa usa ka lumalangyaw ug dumuloong.

³⁵And if thy brother grow poor, and he be fallen into decay beside thee, then thou shalt relieve him, [be he] stranger or sojourner, that he may live beside thee.

³⁶Dili ka magdawat ug tubo gikan kaniya, bisan dugang: kondili hinoon mahadlok ka sa imong Dios; aron ang imong igsoon magapuyo uban kanimo.

³⁶Thou shalt take no usury nor increase of him; and thou shalt fear thy God; that thy brother may live beside thee.

³⁷Dili ka maghatag kaniya sa imong salapi tungod sa tubo, ni maghatag ka kaniya sa imong kalan-on tungod sa iyang idugang.

³⁷Thy money shalt thou not give him upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.

³⁸Ako mao si Jehova nga imong Dios, nga nagkuha kaninyo gikan sa yuta sa Egipto, aron sa paghatag kaninyo sa yuta sa Canaan, ug aron mahimo nga inyong Dios.

³⁸I am Jehovah your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, to be your God.

³⁹Ug kong ang imong igsoon nga anaa kanimo, mahimong kabus, ug ibaligya niya ang iyang kaugalingon kanimo, dili mo siya paalagaron ingon sa ulipon.

³⁹And if thy brother grow poor beside thee, and be sold unto thee, thou shalt not compel him to serve as a bondservant:

⁴⁰Ingon sa sinuholan nga sulogoon, ingon sa usa ka dumuloong, magapuyo siya uban kanimo; hangtud sa tuig sa tinghugyaw magaalagad siya kanimo:

⁴⁰as a hired servant, as a sojourner, shall he be with thee; until the year of jubilee shall he serve thee.

⁴¹Unya siya mopahawa kanimo, siya ug ang iyang mga anak uban kaniya, ug mopauli siya sa iyang kaugalingong panimalay, ug sa kaugalingong yuta sa iyang amahan mopauli siya.

⁴¹Then shall he depart from thee, he and his children with him, and shall return unto his own family, and unto the possession of his fathers shall he return.

⁴²Kay akong mga alagad sila, nga gikuha ko sila gikan sa yuta sa Egipto: sila dili igabaligya sama sa mga ulipon.

⁴²For they are my bondmen, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold as [men] sell bondmen.

⁴³Dili ka magpakaagalon kaniya nga may kagahi, kondili magkahadlok ka sa imong Dios.

⁴³Thou shalt not rule over him with rigour; and thou shalt fear thy God.

⁴⁴Ug mahitungod sa imong mga ulipon nga lalake, ug sa imong mga ulipon nga babaye, nga imong pagabatonan; gikan sa mga nasud nga nagalibut kanimo, gikan kanila magpalit kamo ug mga ulipon nga lalake ug mga ulipon nga babaye.

⁴⁴And as for thy bondman and thy handmaid whom thou shalt have -- of the nations that are round about you, of them shall ye buy bondmen and handmaids.

⁴⁵Labut pa, magapalit usab kamo sa mga anak sa mga dumuloong nga nagapuyo sa taliwala ninyo, ug sa ilang mga kabanayan nga anaa uban kaninyo, nga nangatawo sa inyong yuta; ug sila mamahimo nga inyong kaugalingon.

⁴⁵Moreover of the children of them that dwell as sojourners with you, of them may ye buy, and of their family that is with you, which they beget in your land, and they shall be your possession.

⁴⁶Ug sila himoon ninyo nga sa usa ka kabilin alang sa inyong mga anak sa ulahi ninyo, nga ilang mapanag-iya: gikan kanila kuhaon ninyo ang inyong mga ulipon nga sa walay katapusan; apan sa ibabaw sa inyong mga igsoon, ang mga sa Israel, dili kamo magpakaagalon nga may kagahi, ang tagsatagsa sa ibabaw sa usa ug usa.

⁴⁶And ye shall leave them as an inheritance to your children after you, to inherit them as a possession: these may ye make your bondmen for ever; but as for your brethren, the children of Israel, ye shall not rule over one another with rigour.

⁴⁷Ug kong usa ka lumalangyaw kun dumuloong nga anaa uban kanimo, mahimong dato, ug ang imong igsoon sa kiliran niya mahimong kabus, ug igabaligya niya ang iyang kaugalingon sa lumalangyaw kun sa dumuloong nga anaa kanimo, kun sa kaliwatan sa panimalay sa dumuloong;

⁴⁷And if a stranger or sojourner become wealthy beside thee, and thy brother beside him grow poor, and sell himself unto the stranger, who is settled by thee, or to a scion of the stranger's family,

⁴⁸Sa human mabaligya siya, mahimo nga pagalukaton siya: ang usa sa iyang mga igsoon makalukat kaniya:

⁴⁸after that he is sold there shall be right of redemption for him; one of his brethren may redeem him.

⁴⁹Kun ang iyang uyoan, kun ang anak sa iyang uyoan makalukat kaniya, kun ang bisan kinsa nga duol nga kauban sa iyang kabanayan makalukat kaniya; o kong siya mahimong adunahan, siya gayud makalukat sa iyang kaugalingon.

⁴⁹Either his uncle or his uncle's son may redeem him, or one of his next relations of his family may redeem him; or if his means be sufficient, he may redeem himself.

⁵⁰Ug siya makighusay uban kaniya nga nakapalit sukad sa tuig sa pagbaligya niya sa iyang kaugalingon hangtud sa tuig sa tinghugyaw: ug ang bili sa iyang pagbaligya himoon sumala sa gidaghanon sa mga tuig; pagabuhaton kaniya sumala sa panahon sa usa ka sulogoon nga sinuholan.

⁵⁰And he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he was sold to him unto the year of jubilee; and the price of his sale shall be according to the number of the years, according to the days of a hired servant shall he be with him.

⁵¹Kong may daghan pa nga mga tuig, sumala niini igauli niya ang bili sa iyang lukat gikan sa salapi nga maoy gipalit kaniya.

⁵¹If there are yet many years, according unto them shall he return his redemption [money] out of the money that he was bought for;

⁵²Ug kong mahabilin ang pipila lamang ka mga tuig hangtud sa tuig sa tinghugyaw, nan siya makighusay uban kaniya; ug igauli niya ang iyang lukat ingon sa iyang mga tuig.

⁵²and if there remain but few years unto the year of jubilee, then he shall reckon with him; according unto his [remaining] years [of service] shall he give him back his redemption [money].

⁵³Ingon sa usa ka sulogoon nga magadawat ug suhol sa tinuig mamao siya uban kaniya: siya dili magapakaagalon kaniya nga may kagahi, sa atubangan sa imong mga mata.

⁵³As a hired servant shall he be with him year by year; [his master] shall not rule with rigour over him before thine eyes.

⁵⁴Apan kong siya dili pagalukaton nianang mga paagiha , nan sa tuig sa tinghugyaw makagawas siya, siya ug ang iyang mga anak uban kaniya.

⁵⁴And if he be not redeemed in this manner, then he shall go out in the year of jubilee, he and his children with him.

⁵⁵Kay alang kanako ang mga anak sa Israel mao ang mga alagad; sila mao ang mga alagad ko, nga gikuha ko gikan sa yuta sa Egipto. Ako mao si Jehova nga inyong Dios.

⁵⁵For the children of Israel are servants unto me; they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am Jehovah your God.
