1Ug ang katawohan nga mga bagulbolan, nga nagasulti ug dautan sa mga igdulungog ni Jehova: ug sa diha nga nakadungog si Jehova niini, misilaub ang iyang kaligutgut, ug gipasiga kanila ang kalayo ni Jehova, ug milamoy sa kinatumyan nga bahin sa campo.
1And it came to pass that when the people murmured, it was evil in the ears of Jehovah; and Jehovah heard it, and his anger was kindled, and the fire of Jehovah burned among them, and consumed [some] in the extremity of the camp.
2Ug ang katawohan mingtu-aw kang Moises, ug si Moises, nag-ampo kang Jehova, ug napalong ang kalayo.
2And the people cried to Moses; and Moses prayed to Jehovah -- and the fire abated.
3Ug ang ngalan niadtong dapita mao ang Tabera, kay ang kalayo ni Jehova misunog sa taliwala nila.
3And they called the name of that place Taberah; because a fire of Jehovah burned among them.
4Ug ang nagkalainlaing panon sa katawohan nga diha sa taliwala nila nagpakighilawas sa hilabihan gayud: ug ang mga anak sa Israel nanagpanghilak sa pag-usab, ug miingon: Kinsa man ang magahatag kanato ug pagkaon nga unod?
4And the mixed multitude that was among them lusted; and the children of Israel also wept again and said, Who will give us flesh to eat?
5Nahinumdum kita sa isda nga gikaon nato didto sa Egipto sa walay bayad; sa mga pepino, ug sa mga melon, ug sa mga bawang, ug sa mga sibuyas, ug sa mga ahos.
5We remember the fish that we ate in Egypt for nothing; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic;
6Apan karon ang atong kalag nagamala: walay bisan unsa gayud, gawas niini nga mana nga pagatan-awon.
6and now our soul is dried up: there is nothing at all but the manna before our eyes.
7Ug ang mana ingon sa liso sa culantro, ug ang iyang hulagway ingon sa hulagway sa bdelio.
7And the manna was as coriander seed, and its appearance as the appearance of bdellium.
8Ang katawohan nanagbulag-bulag, ug nanagpamunit niini, ug ginagaling nila kini sa mga galingan, kun ginalubok nila kini sa mga lusong; ug ginaluto nila kini sa mga kolon, ug nanagbuhat sila gikan niini ug mga tinapay: ug ang lami niini ingon sa lami sa lana nga bag-o.
8The people went about, and gathered it, and ground it with hand-mills, or beat it in mortars, and boiled it in pots, and made cakes of it; and the taste of it was as the taste of oil-cakes.
9Ug sa diha nga ang yamog nangahulog sa ibabaw sa campo sa kagabhion, ang mana nahulog sa ibabaw niini.
9And when the dew fell upon the camp by night, the manna fell upon it.
10Ug nabati ni Moises ang mga dinangoyngoy sa katawohan ngadto sa ilang mga banay, tagsatagsa ka tawo diha sa pultahan sa iyang balong-balong: ug ang kaligutgut ni Jehova misilaub sa hilabihan gayud; ug si Moises wala mahimuot niini .
10And Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every one at the entrance of his tent; and the anger of Jehovah was kindled greatly; it was also evil in the eyes of Moses.
11Ug si Moises miingon kang Jehova: Ngano man nga nagbuhat ka ug dautan sa imong ulipon? ug ngano nga wala ako makakaplag ug kalomo sa imong mga mata, nga gibutang mo ang lulan niining tibook katawohan sa ibabaw nako?
11And Moses said to Jehovah, Why hast thou done evil to thy servant, and why have I not found favour in thine eyes, that thou layest the burden of all this people upon me?
12Gipanamkon ko ba kining tibook nga katawohan? ug nanganak ba ako kanila aron magaingon ka kanako: Dad-a sila sa imong sabakan, ingon sa nagaalima nga amahan nga nagadala sa bata nga masuso, ngadto sa yuta nga gipanumpa mo sa ilang mga ginikanan?
12Have I conceived all this people, have I brought them forth, that thou sayest to me, Carry them in thy bosom, as the nursing-father beareth the suckling, unto the land which thou didst swear unto their fathers?
13Asa man ako ug unod nga arang ikahatag ko niining tibook nga katawohan? kay nanagdangoyngoy sila ngari kanako, nga nagaingon: Hatagi kami ug unod aron among pagakan-on.
13Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh that we may eat!
14Dili ako arang makadala nga usa ra niining tibook nga katawohan, kay hilabihan kabug-at kini alang kanako.
14I am not able to bear all this people alone, for it is too heavy for me.
15Ug kong mao kini ang pagabuhaton mo kanako, patya ako; ginapangaliyupo ko kanimo, gikan sa imong kamot, kong ako nakakaplag ug kalomo sa imong mga mata; ug ayaw ako pakitaa sa akong pagkaalaut.
15And if thou deal thus with me, slay me, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, that I may not behold my wretchedness.
16Ug si Jehova miingon kang Moises: Tigumon mo alang kanako ang kapitoan ka tawo sa mga anciano sa Israel, nga imong hing-ilhan nga mga anciano sa katawohan ug mga pangulo ibabaw kanila; ug dad-on mo sila ngadto sa balong-balong nga pagatiguman, aron magatindog sila didto uban kanimo.
16And Jehovah said to Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and their officers; and take them to the tent of meeting, and they shall stand there with thee.
17Ug ako mokunsad ug makigsulti kanimo didto; ug ako magakuha sa Espiritu nga anaa kanimo, ug kini igabutang ko kanila; ug sila magadala sa lulan sa katawohan uban kanimo, aron dili ka magpas-an niini nga mag-inusara lamang.
17And I will come down and talk with thee there; and I will take of the Spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, and thou shalt not bear it alone.
18Ug magapamulong ka sa katawohan: Managbalaan kamo alang sa pagkaugma, ug magakaon kamo ug unod: kay nanagdangoyngoy kamo sa igdulungog ni Jehova nga nagaingon. Kinsa man ang magahatag kanato ug pagkaon nga unod? kay labing maayo kanato sa didto pa kita sa Egipto; busa si Jehova magahatag kaninyo ug unod ug magakaon kamo.
18And unto the people shalt thou say, Hallow yourselves for to-morrow, and ye shall eat flesh; for ye have wept in the ears of Jehovah, saying, Who will give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt; and Jehovah will give you flesh, and ye shall eat.
19Dili kamo magakaon sulod sa usa ka adlaw ni sa duruha ka adlaw, ni sa lima ka adlaw ni sa napulo ka adlaw ni sa kaluhaan ka adlaw.
19Not one day shall ye eat, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days;
20Kondili sa usa ka bulan gayud, hangtud nga kini manggula sa inyong mga ilong, ug lud-on kamo niini; tungod kay nagsalikway kamo kang Jehova, nga anaa sa taliwala ninyo, ug nanagdangoyngoy kamo sa atubangan niya, nga nagaingon: Ngano man nga nanggula kita gikan sa Egipto?
20[but] for a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it become loathsome unto you; because that ye have despised Jehovah who is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt?
21Ug miingon si Moises: Ang katawohan nga sa taliwala kanila anaa ako: unom ka gatus ka libo nga nagalakaw: ug ikaw nagaingon: Pagahatagan ko sila ug unod, aron magakaon sila sulod sa usa ka bulan.
21And Moses said, The people in whose midst I am are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou sayest, I will give them flesh that they may eat a whole month.
22Pagaihawan ba sila ug mga panon sa mga carnero ug mga vaca aron sa pagbusog kanila? kun pagatigumon ba alang kanila ang tanang mga isda sa dagat aron sa pagbusog kanila?
22Shall flocks and herds be slaughtered for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered for them, to suffice them?
23Ug si Jehova miingon kang Moises: Naputol ba ang kamot ni Jehova? karon tan-awon mo kong mahatabo kanimo ang akong gipamulong o dili.
23And Jehovah said to Moses, Hath Jehovah's hand become short? Now shalt thou see whether my word will come to pass unto thee or not.
24Ug migula si Moises, ug gisulti niya sa katawohan ang mga pulong ni Jehova: ug gitigum niya ang kapitoan ka mga lalake sa mga anciano sa katawohan, ug sila gipahamutang niya sa paglibut sa Balong-Balong.
24And Moses went out and told the people the words of Jehovah; and he gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round about the tent.
25Ug si Jehova mikunsad sa panganod, ug misulti kaniya, ug mikuha sa Espiritu nga diha sa ibabaw niya, ug gibutang kini sa kapitoan ka mga anciano; ug nahatabo, nga sa mipabilin ang Espiritu diha sa ibabaw nila, nanagpanagna sila apan wala na sila managpadayon.
25And Jehovah came down in a cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him, and put it upon the seventy men, the elders; and it came to pass, that when the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied, but they did not repeat [it].
26Apan dihay duruha ka tawo nga mipabilin sa campo, ang ngalan sa usa mao si Eldad, ug ang ngalan sa usa mao si Medad: ug ang Espiritu mipabilin diha sa ibabaw kanila; ug sila uban niadtong mga nahisulat, apan sila wala mangadto didto sa Balong-Balong; ug sila nanagpanagna sa sulod sa campo.
26And two men remained in the camp, the name of the one, Eldad, and the name of the other, Medad; and the Spirit rested upon them (and they were among them that were written, but they had not gone out to the tent); and they prophesied in the camp.
27Ug midalagan ang usa ka batanong lalake, ug nagpahibalo kang Moises, ug miingon: si Eldad ug si Medad nanagpanagna sa sulod sa campo.
27And there ran a youth, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.
28Ug si Josue, ang anak nga lalake ni Nun, nga ministro ni Moises, usa sa iyang mga pinili nga tawo, mitubag ug miingon: Ginoo ko nga Moises, did-an mo sila.
28And Joshua the son of Nun, the attendant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them!
29Ug si Moises mitubag kaniya: Nangabugho ba ikaw alang kanako? hinaut unta nga ang tibook nga katawohan ni Jehova mga manalagna, nga igabutang ni Jehova ang iyang Espiritu sa ibabaw nila!
29But Moses said to him, Enviest thou for my sake? would that all Jehovah's people were prophets, [and] that Jehovah would put his Spirit upon them!
30Ug si Moises mipasulod kaniya ngadto sa campo, siya ug ang mga anciano sa Israel.
30And Moses withdrew into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.
31Ug dihay migula nga usa ka hangin nga gikan kang Jehova, ug nagdala ug mga buntog nga gikan sa dagat, ug gipaatak sila sa ibabaw sa campo: maingon sa usa ka adlaw nga lakaw niining kilirana, ug usa ka adlaw nga lakaw sa usa ka kiliran, maglibut sa campo, ug maingon sa duruha ka maniko ibabaw sa nawong sa yuta.
31And there went forth a wind from Jehovah, and drove quails from the sea, and cast them about the camp, about a day's journey on this side, and about a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and about two cubits above the earth.
32Ug ang katawohan mibangon sulod sa tibook niadtong adlawa, ug sulod sa tibook nga gabii, ug sulod sa tibook nga adlaw nga misunod, ug nanagpanguha sa mga buntog: siya nga nakapamunit sa labing diyutay nakapamunit ug napulo ka omer; ug kini gikatag nila sa tanang dapit alang sa ilang kaugalingon nga maglibut sa campo.
32And the people rose up all that day, and the whole night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered little gathered ten homers; and they spread them abroad for themselves round about the camp.
33Samtang ang unod diha pa sa taliwala sa ilang mga ngipon, sa wala pa kini mausap, ang kaligutgut ni Jehova misilaub batok sa katawohan ug gipatay ni Jehova ang katawohan pinaagi sa labing daku nga hampak.
33The flesh was yet between their teeth, before it was chewed, when the wrath of Jehovah was kindled against the people, and Jehovah smote the people with a very great plague.
34Ug ang ngalan niadtong dapita mao ang Kibroth-hataaba, tungod kay didto gilubong nila ang katawohan nga nanagkaibug.
34And they called the name of that place Kibroth-hattaavah; because there they buried the people who lusted.
35Gikan sa Kibroth-hataaba ang katawohan mipanaw padulong sa Haseroth, ug mipuyo sila didto sa Haseroth.
35From Kibroth-hattaavah the people journeyed to Hazeroth; and they were at Hazeroth.
