¹Ug ang usa ka dakung ilhanan hingkit-an didto sa langit: usa ka babaye nga sinul-oban sa adlaw, ug ang bulan sa ilalum sa iyang mga tiil, ug sa iyang ulo usa ka purongpurong sa napulo ug duha ka bitoon;

¹And a great sign was seen in the heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars;

²Ug nanamkon siya; ug siya misinggit sa mga kasakit sa pag-anak, ug ginasakitan siya sa pag-anak.

²and being with child she cried, [being] in travail, and in pain to bring forth.

³Ug hingkit-an ang usa ka laing ilhanan didto sa langit; ug ania karon, usa ka dakung dragon nga mapula, nga may pito ka mga ulo ug napulo ka mga sungay, ug may pito ka mga diadema sa iyang mga ulo.

³And another sign was seen in the heaven: and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems;

⁴Ug ang iyang ikog nagaguyod sa ikatolo ka bahin sa mga bitoon sa langit, ug sila gipanalibay niya sa yuta. Ug ang dragon nagpahamutang sa atubangan sa babaye nga haduol nang mag-anak, aron iyang lamyon ang bata sa diha nga kini iyang ikaanak na.

⁴and his tail draws the third part of the stars of the heaven; and he cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to bring forth, in order that when she brought forth he might devour her child.

⁵Ug ang babaye nag-anak sa usa ka anak nga lalake, nga magahari sa tanan nga nasud sa barras nga puthaw, ug ang iyang bata gidala ngadto sa Dios ug sa iyang trono.

⁵And she brought forth a male son, who shall shepherd all the nations with an iron rod; and her child was caught up to God and to his throne.

⁶Ug ang babaye mikalagiw ngadto sa kamingawan, diin didto siya may usa ka dapit nga giandam sa Dios, aron nga pagatil-ogan siya didto sa usa ka libo duha ka gatus ug kan-uman ka adlaw.

⁶And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has there a place prepared of God, that they should nourish her there a thousand two hundred [and] sixty days.

⁷Ug dihay usa ka gubat sa langit: Si Miguel ug ang iyang mga manolonda miasdang sa pagpakiggubat sa dragon; ug nagapakiggubat usab ang dragon ug ang iyang mga manolonda.

⁷And there was war in the heaven: Michael and his angels went to war with the dragon. And the dragon fought, and his angels;

⁸Ug sila wala makadaug, ug walay hingkit-an nga dapit alang kanila sa langit.

⁸and he prevailed not, nor was their place found any more in the heaven.

⁹Ug gisalibay ang daku nga dragon, ang daan nga bitin, nga ginanganlan. yawa ug satanas, siya nga nagalimbong sa tibook nga kalibutan; gitambug siya, ug uban kaniya gipanalibay ang iyang mga manolonda.

⁹And the great dragon was cast out, the ancient serpent, he who is called Devil and Satan, he who deceives the whole habitable world, he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

¹⁰Ug nadungog ko ang usa ka dakung tingog sa langit, nga nagaingon: Karon miabut na ang kaluwasan, ug ang gahum ug ang gingharian sa atong Dios, ug ang pagbulot-an sa iyang Cristo: kay gitambug ang magsusumbong sa atong mga igsoon, nga nagasumbong kanila sa atubangan sa atong Dios sa adlaw ug gabii.

¹⁰And I heard a great voice in the heaven saying, Now is come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ; for the accuser of our brethren has been cast out, who accused them before our God day and night:

¹¹Ug siya gidaug nila tungod sa dugo sa Cordero, ug tungod sa pulong sa iyang pagpamatuod, ug wala nila paghigugmaa ang ilang kinabuhi hangtud sa kamatayon.

¹¹and *they* have overcome him by reason of the blood of the Lamb, and by reason of the word of their testimony, and have not loved their life even unto death.

¹²Tungod niana, managlipay kamo, oh mga langit, ug kamo nga nagapuyo diha kanila. Alaut ang yuta ug ang dagat: Kay ang yawa nanaug kaninyo nga puno sa dakung kaligutgut, sa hingbaloan niya nga hamubo na lamang ang iyang panahon.

¹²Therefore be full of delight, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the earth and to the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great rage, knowing he has a short time.

¹³Ug sa pagkakita sa dragon, nga gitambug siya sa yuta, gilutos niya ang babaye nga nag-anak sa anak nga lalake.

¹³And when the dragon saw that he had been cast out into the earth, he persecuted the woman which bore the male [child].

¹⁴Ug may gihatag sa babaye nga duruha ka pako sa dakung agila, aron nga molupad siya ngadto sa kamingawan sa iyang dapit, nga didto ginatil-ogan siya sulod sa usa ka panahon, ug sa mga panahon, ug katunga sa panahon gikan sa nawong sa bitin.

¹⁴And there were given to the woman the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the desert into her place, where she is nourished there a time, and times, and half a time, from [the] face of the serpent.

¹⁵Ug mibugwak ang bitin sa likud sa babaye ug tubig nga ingon sa usa ka suba, aron iyang ipaanod siya sa baha.

¹⁵And the serpent cast out of his mouth behind the woman water as a river, that he might make her be [as] one carried away by a river.

¹⁶Ug ang yuta mitabang sa babaye; ug ginganga sa yuta ang iyang baba, ug gisuyop niya ang suba nga gibugwak sa bitin sa iyang baba.

¹⁶And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

¹⁷Ug ang dragon napuno sa kaligutgut batok sa babaye, ug miadto sa pagpakiggubat batok sa uban sa iyang kaliwat, nga nagabantay sa mga sugo sa Dios, ug nagabaton sa pagpamatuod ni Jesus.

¹⁷And the dragon was angry with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus.
