¹Si Ezechias nagsugod paghari sa may kaluhaan ug lima ka tuig ang iyang panuigon; ug siya naghari sulod sa kaluhaan ug siyam ka tuig sa Jerusalem: ug ang ngalan sa iyang inahan mao si Abia, anak nga babaye ni Zacharias.

¹Hezekiah began to reign when he was twenty-five years old; and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.

²Ug siya nagbuhat niadtong matarung sa mga mata ni Jehova, sumala sa tanan nga gibuhat ni David nga iyang amahan.

²He did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, according to all that David his father had done.

³Siya sa pahaunang tuig sa iyang paghari, sa nahaunang bulan, iyang giablihan ang mga pultahan sa balay ni Jehova, ug gipaayo kini.

³He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of Yahweh, and repaired them.

⁴Ug iyang gidala sa sulod ang mga sacerdote ug mga Levihanon, ug gitigum sila pagtingub sa halapad nga dapit sa silangan.

⁴He brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the broad place on the east,

⁵Ug miingon kanila: Patalinghugi ako, kamong mga Levihanon; karon balaana ninyo ang inyong mga kaugalingon, balaana ang balay ni Jehova, ang Dios sa inyong mga amahan, ug ipagawas ang kahugawan gikan sa balaang dapit.

⁵and said to them, “Listen to me, you Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify the house of Yahweh, the God of your fathers, and carry out the filthiness out of the holy place.

⁶Kay ang atong mga amahan nanagpakalapas, ug nanagbuhat niadtong dautan sa mga mata ni Jehova nga atong Dios, ug mingsalikway kaniya, ug gilingiw nila ang ilang mga nawong gikan sa puloy-anan ni Jehova, ug nanalikod.

⁶For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of Yahweh, and turned their backs.

⁷Ila usab nga gitakpan ang mga pultahan sa mga alagianan, ug gipamalong ang mga lamparahan, ug wala managsunog sa incienso ni managhalad sa mga halad-nga-sinunog sa balaang dapit ngadto sa Dios sa Israel.

⁷Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place to the God of Israel.

⁸Busa ang kaligutgut ni Jehova anaa sa ibabaw sa Juda ug Jerusalem, ug iyang gitugyan sila nga igatugpo-tugpo, aron mahimong usa nga makapahibulong, ug usa ka talamayon nga pagasutsutan, sumala sa nakita sa inyong mga mata.

⁸Therefore the wrath of Yahweh was on Judah and Jerusalem, and he has delivered them to be tossed back and forth, to be an astonishment, and a hissing, as you see with your eyes.

⁹Kay ania karon, ang atong mga amahan nangapukan pinaagi sa pinuti, ug ang atong mga anak nga lalake ug mga anak nga babaye ug ang atong mga asawa anaa sa pagkabinihag tungod niini.

⁹For, behold, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.

¹⁰Karon kini ania sa akong kasingkasing ang paghimo sa usa ka tugon uban kang Jehova, ang Dios sa Israel, aron nga ang iyang mabangis nga kasuko ipasimang gikan kanato.

¹⁰Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with Yahweh, the God of Israel, that his fierce anger may turn away from us.

¹¹Mga anak ko nga lalake, ayaw na pagmapasinagdanon karon; kay si Jehova nagpili kaninyo sa pagtindog sa atubangan niya, aron sa pag-alagad kaniya, ug nga kamo mahimong iyang mga alagad, ug magasunog sa incienso.

¹¹My sons, don’t be negligent now; for Yahweh has chosen you to stand before him, to minister to him, and that you should be his ministers, and burn incense.”

¹²Unya ang mga Levihanon mingtindog, si Mahat, ang anak nga lalake ni Amasai, ug si Joel ang anak nga lalake ni Azarias, sa mga anak nga lalake sa mga Coathnon; ug sa mga anak nga lalake ni Merari, si Cis ang anak nga lalake ni Abdi, ug si Azarias ang anak nga lalake ni Jehaleleel; ug sa mga Gersonhon, si Joah ang anak nga lalake ni Sima, ug si Eden anak nga lalake ni Joah;

¹²Then the Levites arose, Mahath, the son of Amasai, and Joel the son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites; and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi, and Azariah the son of Jehallelel; and of the Gershonites, Joah the son of Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah;

¹³Ug sa mga anak nga lalake ni Elisaphan, si Simri ug si Jeiel; ug sa mga anak nga lalake ni Asaph, si Zacharias ug si Matanias;

¹³and of the sons of Elizaphan, Shimri and Jeuel; and of the sons of Asaph, Zechariah and Mattaniah;

¹⁴Ug sa mga anak nga lalake ni Heman, si Jehiel ug si Semei, ug sa mga anak nga lalake ni Jeduthun, si Semaias, ug si Uziel.

¹⁴and of the sons of Heman, Jehuel and Shimei; and of the sons of Jeduthun, Shemaiah and Uzziel.

¹⁵Ug ilang gitigum ang ilang mga kaigsoonan ug nagpabalaan sa ilang kaugalingon, ug nanulod, sumala sa sugo sa hari pinasikad sa mga pulong ni Jehova, aron sa paghinlo sa balay ni Jehova.

¹⁵They gathered their brothers, and sanctified themselves, and went in, according to the commandment of the king by the words of Yahweh, to cleanse the house of Yahweh.

¹⁶Ug ang mga sacerdote mingsulod ngadto sa kinasulorang dapit sa balay ni Jehova, aron sa paghinlo niana, ug gidala sa gawas ang tanang mga kahugawan nga ilang nakita diha sa templo ni Jehova ngadto sa sawang sa balay ni Jehova. Ug ang mga Levihanon mingkuha niana aron dad-on kana ngadto sa sapa sa Cedron.

¹⁶The priests went in to the inner part of the house of Yahweh, to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in Yahweh’s temple into the court of the house of Yahweh. The Levites took it, to carry it out abroad to the brook Kidron.

¹⁷Karon sila nagsugod sa nahaunang adlaw sa nahaunang bulan aron sa pagpaputli, ug sa ikawalong adlaw sa bulan ming-adto sila sa alagianan ni Jehova; ug ilang gipaputli ang balay ni Jehova sulod sa walo ka adlaw: ug sa ikanapulo ug unom ka adlaw sa nahaunang bulan ilang gitapus.

¹⁷Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of Yahweh; and they sanctified the house of Yahweh in eight days: and on the sixteenth day of the first month they made an end.

¹⁸Unya ming-adto sila kang Ezechias nga hari sulod sa palacio , ug ming-ingon: Among gihinloan ang tibook balay ni Jehova, ug ang halaran sa halad-nga-sinunog, uban ang tanang mga sudlanan didto, ug ang lamesa sa tinapay nga gibutang sa atubangan sa Dios, lakip ang tanang mga sudlanan didto.

¹⁸Then they went in to Hezekiah the king within the palace, and said, “We have cleansed all the house of Yahweh, and the altar of burnt offering, with all its vessels, and the table of show bread, with all its vessels.

¹⁹Labut pa ang tanang mga sudlanan nga gisalikway ni hari Achaz sa iyang paghari sa nakalapas siya, among giandam ug gibalaan; ug, ania karon, sila anaa sa atubangan sa halaran ni Jehova.

¹⁹Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign threw away when he trespassed, have we prepared and sanctified; and behold, they are before the altar of Yahweh.”

²⁰Unya si Ezechias nga hari mibangon pagsayo, ug gitigum ang mga principe sa ciudad, ug mitungas ngadto sa balay ni Jehova.

²⁰Then Hezekiah the king arose early, and gathered the princes of the city, and went up to the house of Yahweh.

²¹Ug sila nagdala ug pito ka lakeng vaca, ug pito ka lakeng carnero, ug pito ka nating carnero, ug pito ka lakeng kanding alang sa halad-tungod-sa-sala alang sa gingharian, ug alang sa dapit nga puloy-anan ug alang sa Juda. Ug iyang gisugo ang mga sacerdote ang mga anak nga lalake ni Aaron sa paghalad niini ibabaw sa halaran ni Jehova.

²¹They brought seven bulls, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven male goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom and for the sanctuary and for Judah. He commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the altar of Yahweh.

²²So they killed the bulls, and the priests received the blood, and sprinkled it on the altar: and they killed the rams, and sprinkled the blood on the altar: they killed also the lambs, and sprinkled the blood on the altar.

²³Ug ilang gidala sa duol ang mga lakeng kanding alang sa halad-tungod-sa-sala sa atubangan sa hari ug sa katilingban; ug ilang gibutang ang ilang mga kamot sa ibabaw niini.

²³They brought near the male goats for the sin offering before the king and the assembly; and they laid their hands on them:

²⁴Ug gipatay kini sa mga sacerdote, ug ilang gihimo ang usa ka halad-tungod-sa-sala uban sa dugo niini ibabaw sa halaran, aron sa pagbuhat sa pagtabon-sa-sala alang sa tibook Israel; kay ang hari nagsugo nga ang halad-nga-sinunog ug ang halad-tungod-sa-sala pagahimoon alang sa tibook Israel.

²⁴and the priests killed them, and they made a sin offering with their blood on the altar, to make atonement for all Israel; for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.

²⁵Ug iyang gipahamutang ang mga Levihanon sulod sa balay ni Jehova uban sa mga piyangpiyang, uban sa mga kinuldasan nga tulonggon, ug uban sa mga alpa, sumala sa sugo ni David, ug ni Gad nga manalagna sa hari, ug ni Nathan nga manalagna; kay ang sugo iya ni Jehova pinaagi sa iyang mga manalagna.

²⁵He set the Levites in the house of Yahweh with cymbals, with stringed instruments, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king’s seer, and Nathan the prophet; for the commandment was of Yahweh by his prophets.

²⁶Ug ang mga Levihanon nanagtindog uban sa mga tulonggon ni David, ug ang mga sacerdote uban sa mga trompeta.

²⁶The Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.

²⁷Ug si Ezechias nagsugo sa paghalad sa halad-nga-sinunog ibabaw sa halaran. Ug sa nasugdan na ang halad-nga-sinunog, ang awit alang kang Jehova gisugdan usab, ug ang mga trompeta, duyog sa mga tulonggon ni David nga hari sa Israel.

²⁷Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering on the altar. When the burnt offering began, the song of Yahweh began also, and the trumpets, together with the instruments of David king of Israel.

²⁸Ug ang tibook katilingban mingsimba, ug ang mga mag-aawit nanag-awit, ug ang mga nanagdala sa trompeta nanagpatunog; kining tanan nagpadayon hangtud nga natapus ang halad-nga-sinunog.

²⁸All the assembly worshiped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded; all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.

²⁹Ug sa natapus na nila ang paghalad, ang hari ug ang tanan nga diha uban kaniya nanagyukbo sa ilang kaugalingon ug nanagsimba.

²⁹When they had made an end of offering, the king and all who were present with him bowed themselves and worshiped.

³⁰Labut pa si Ezechias nga hari ug ang mga principe mingsugo sa mga Levihanon sa pag-awit sa mga pagdayeg kang Jehova uban sa mga pulong ni David, ug ni Asaph nga manalagna. Ug sila nanag-awit sa mga pagdayeg inubanan sa kalipay, ug ilang giduko ang ilang mga ulo ug nanagsimba.

³⁰Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praises to Yahweh with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. They sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshiped.

³¹Unya si Ezechias mitubag ug miingon: Karon kamo nanagpahinungod sa inyong kaugalingon alang kang Jehova; dumuol ug magdala sa mga halad ug sa mga halad-sa-pasalamat ngadto sa balay ni Jehova. Ug ang katilingban nanagdala sa mga halad ug sa mga halad-sa-pasalamat; ug ingon sa kadaghanon niadtong may kasingkasing nga mahinatagon nagdala sa mga halad-nga-sinunog.

³¹Then Hezekiah answered, “Now you have consecrated yourselves to Yahweh; come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of Yahweh.” The assembly brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of a willing heart brought burnt offerings.

³²Ug ang gidaghanon sa mga halad-nga-sinunog nga gidala sa katilingban may kapitoan ka lakeng vaca, usa ka gatus ka carnerong lake, ug duha ka gatus nga nating carnero: kining tanan alang sa usa ka halad-nga-sinunog kang Jehova.

³²The number of the burnt offerings which the assembly brought was seventy bulls, one hundred rams, and two hundred lambs: all these were for a burnt offering to Yahweh.

³³Ug ang mga hinalad nga mga butang may unom ka gatus nga vaca ug totolo ka libong carnero.

³³The consecrated things were six hundred head of cattle and three thousand sheep.

³⁴Apan ang mga sacerdote diyutay ra kaayo, mao nga sila wala makapanit sa tanang mga halad-nga-sinunog: usab ang ilang mga igsoon nga mga Levihanon mingtabang kanila, hangtud nga ang buhat natapus, ug hangtud nga ang uban nga mga sacerdote nanagpabalaan sa ilang kaugalingon; kay ang mga Levihanon labi pang matarung sa kasingkasing sa pagbalaan sa ilang kaugalingon kay sa mga sacerdote.

³⁴But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: therefore their brothers the Levites helped them, until the work was ended, and until the priests had sanctified themselves; for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.

³⁵Ug ang mga halad-nga-sinunog usab daghan kaayo, lakip ang tambok sa mga halad-sa-pakigdait, ug uban sa mga halad-nga-ilimnon alang sa tagsatagsa ka halad-nga-sinunog. Busa ang pag-alagad sa balay ni Jehova gipahamutang sa maayong pagkahikay.

³⁵Also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings, and with the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of Yahweh was set in order.

³⁶Ug si Ezechias nalipay ug ang tibook katawohan, tungod niana nga giandam sa Dios alang sa katawohan: kay ang butang gibuhat sa madali.

³⁶Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, because of that which God had prepared for the people: for the thing was done suddenly.
