1Ug si Moises ug ang mga anciano sa Israel nagsugo sa katawohan, nga nagaingon: Bantayan ninyo ang tanang mga sugo nga akong ginatudlo kaninyo niining adlawa.
1Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, “Keep all the commandment which I command you this day.
2Ug mahitabo, nga sa adlaw nga motabok kamo sa Jordan padulong sa yuta nga gihatag kanimo ni Jehova nga imong Dios, magapatindog ka ug mga bato nga dagku, nga pagabuliton mo sila sa apog.
2It shall be on the day when you shall pass over the Jordan to the land which Yahweh your God gives you, that you shall set yourself up great stones, and plaster them with plaster:
3Ug igasulat mo kanila ang tanang mga pulong niini nga Kasugoan, sa makatabok na kamo; aron sa pagsulod sa yuta nga gihatag kaninyo ni Jehova nga imong Dios, yuta nga nagapaagay sa gatas ug dugos, ingon sa saad kanimo ni Jehova nga Dios sa imong mga amahan.
3and you shall write on them all the words of this law, when you have passed over; that you may go in to the land which Yahweh your God gives you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has promised you.
4Ug mahitabo sa diha nga makatabok na kamo sa Jordan, nga pagapatindogon ninyo kining bato nga akong ginasugo kaninyo niining adlawa, sa bukid sa Ebal, ug pagabuliton mo sila sa apog.
4It shall be, when you have passed over the Jordan, that you shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in Mount Ebal, and you shall plaster them with plaster.
5Ug didto magabuhat ka ug halaran alang kang Jehova nga imong Dios, halaran nga bato: dili ka magbakyaw ug galamiton nga puthaw sa ibabaw nila:
5There you shall build an altar to Yahweh your God, an altar of stones: you shall lift up no iron on them.
6Sa mga bato nga tibook pagabuhaton mo ang halaran ni Jehova nga imong Dios, ug magahalad ka sa ibabaw niya ug halad-nga-sinunog kang Jehova nga imong Dios:
6You shall build the altar of Yahweh your God of uncut stones; and you shall offer burnt offerings thereon to Yahweh your God:
7Ug magahalad ka ug mga halad-sa-pakigdait, ug magakaon ka didto; ug magakalipay ka sa atubangan ni Jehova nga imong Dios.
7and you shall sacrifice peace offerings, and shall eat there; and you shall rejoice before Yahweh your God.
8Ug igasulat mo sa mga bato ang tanan nga mga pulong niini nga Kasugoan nga labing matin-aw.
8You shall write on the stones all the words of this law very plainly.”
9Ug si Moises, ug ang mga sacerdote nga mga Levihanon, nagsulti sa tibook nga Israel, nga nagaingon: Maghilum ka, ug magpatalinghug, Oh Israel: niining adlawa mahimo ka nga katawohan ni Jehova nga imong Dios.
9Moses and the priests the Levites spoke to all Israel, saying, “Keep silence, and listen, Israel: this day you have become the people of Yahweh your God.
10Busa magapatalinghug ka sa tingog ni Jehova nga imong Dios, ug magatuman ka sa iyang mga sugo ug sa iyang kabalaoran, nga akong ginasugo kanimo niining adlawa.
10You shall therefore obey the voice of Yahweh your God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command you this day.”
11Ug nagsugo si Moises sa katawohan niadtong adlawa nga nagaingon:
11Moses commanded the people the same day, saying,
12Kini sila magapuyo sa ibabaw sa bukid sa Gerizim aron sa pagpanalangin sa katawohan sa human na makatabok kamo sa Jordan: si Simeon, ug si Levi, ug si Juda, ug si Issachar, ug si Jose, ug si Benjamin.
12“These shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people, when you have passed over the Jordan: Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin.
13Ug kini sila magatindog sa ibabaw sa bukid sa Ebal alang sa pagtunglo: si Ruben, si Gad, ug si Aser, ug si Zabulon, si Dan ug si Nephtali.
13These shall stand on Mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
14Ug magasulti ang mga Levihanon, ug magaingon sila sa tanan nga tawo sa Israel sa hataas nga tingog:
14The Levites shall answer, and tell all the men of Israel with a loud voice,
15Tinunglo ang tawo nga magabuhat ug larawan nga linilok kun tinunaw, butang nga dulumtanan alang kang Jehova, ang buhat sa kamot sa malalangon, ug nga igabutang kini sa tago! Ug ang tibook nga katawohan magatubag ug magaingon: Hinaut unta!
15‘Cursed is the man who makes an engraved or molten image, an abomination to Yahweh, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’ All the people shall answer and say, ‘Amen.’
16Tinunglo ang dili magatahud sa iyang amahan kun sa iyang inahan! Ug magaingon ang tibook katawohan: Hinaut unta!
16‘Cursed is he who sets light by his father or his mother.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
17Tinunglo ang magabalhin sa utlanan sa iyang isigkatawo! Ug magaingon ang tibook katawohan: Hinaut unta!
17‘Cursed is he who removes his neighbor’s landmark.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
18Tinunglo ang magapasalaag sa buta sa dalan! Ug magaingon ang tibook nga katawohan: Hinaut unta!
18‘Cursed is he who makes the blind to wander out of the way.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
19Tinunglo ang magabalit-ad sa katul-iran nga angay sa dumuloong, sa ilo, ug sa balo nga babaye! Ug magaingon ang tibook nga katawohan: Hinaut unta!
19‘Cursed is he who the foreigner, fatherless, and widow of justice.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
20Tinunglo ang magahigda ipon sa asawa sa iyang amahan; kay nagbukas siya sa tampi sa iyang amahan! Ug magaingon ang tibook nga katawohan: Hinaut unta!
20‘Cursed is he who lies with his father’s wife, because he has uncovered his father’s skirt.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
21Tinunglo ang motipon paghigda sa bisan unsa nga mananap! Ug magaingon ang tibook nga katawohan: Hinaut unta!
21‘Cursed is he who lies with any kind of animal.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
22Tinunglo ang motipon paghigda sa iyang igsoon nga babaye, anak nga babaye sa iyang amahan, kun anak nga babaye sa iyang inahan. Ug magaingon ang tibook nga katawohan: Hinaut unta!
22‘Cursed is he who lies with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
23Tinunglo ang motipon paghigda sa iyang ugangan nga babaye! Ug magaingon ang tibook nga katawohan: Hinaut unta!
23‘Cursed is he who lies with his mother-in-law.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
24Tinunglo ang magasamad sa iyang isigkatawo sa tago gayud! Ug magaingon ang tibook nga katawohan: Hinaut unta!
24‘Cursed is he who strikes his neighbor in secret.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
25Tinunglo ang magadawat ug hiphip aron sa pagpatay sa usa ka tawo nga walay sala! Ug magaingon ang tibook nga katawohan: Hinaut unta!
25‘Cursed is he who takes a bribe to kill an innocent person.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
26Tinunglo ang dili magauyon sa mga pulong niini nga Kasugoan aron sa pagtuman kanila! Ug magaingon ang tibook nga katawohan: Hinaut unta!
26‘Cursed is he who doesn’t confirm the words of this law to do them.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’”
