¹Sa ikanapulo ka tuig, sa ikanapulo ka bulan ; sa ikanapulo ug duha ka adlaw sa bulan, ang pulong ni Jehova midangat kanako, nga nagaingon:

¹In the tenth year, in the tenth month, on the twelfth day of the month, the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

²Anak sa tawo, ipahamutang ang imong nawong batok kang Faraon hari sa Egipto, ug panagna batok kaniya, ug batok sa tibook Egipto;

²“Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him and against all Egypt.

³Sumulti ka ug umingon: Mao kini ang giingon sa Ginoong Jehova: Ania karon, ako batok kanimo, Faraon hari sa Egipto, ang dakung dragon nga nagahigda sa taliwala sa iyang kasubaan, nga miingon: Ang akong suba akong kaugalingon, ug akong gibuhat kini alang sa akong kaugalingon.

³Speak and say, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great monster that lies in the midst of his rivers, that has said, ‘My river is my own, and I have made it for myself.’

⁴Ug isab-it ko ang mga taga sa imong mga apapangig, ug akong ipatapot sa imong mga himbis ang isda sa imong mga suba; ug haw-ason ko ikaw gikan sa taliwala sa imong mga suba, uban ang tanang isda sa imong mga suba nga motapot sa imong mga himbis.

⁴I will put hooks in your jaws, and I will make the fish of your rivers stick to your scales; and I will bring you up out of the midst of your rivers, with all the fish of your rivers which stick to your scales.

⁵Ug isalibay ko ikaw ngadto sa kamingawan, ikaw ug ang tanang isda sa imong mga suba: mahulog ikaw sa mahinlo nga kapatagan; ikaw dili pagahipuson, ni pagatigumon; gihatag ko ikaw nga pagkaon sa mga mananap sa yuta ug sa mga langgam sa kalangitan.

⁵I’ll cast you forth into the wilderness, you and all the fish of your rivers. You’ll fall on the open field. You won’t be brought together, nor gathered. I have given you for food to the animals of the earth and to the birds of the sky.

⁶Ug ang tanang mga molupyo sa Egipto makaila nga ako mao si Jehova, tungod kay sila mahimong sungkod nga tangbo sa balay sa Israel.

⁶All the inhabitants of Egypt will know that I am Yahweh, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.

⁷Sa diha nga ikaw giagak nila sa imong kamot, nakapatikuko ka, ug nakalaksi sa ilang tanan nga mga abaga; ug sa pag-uraray nila kanimo, ikaw nabali ug nagpaurong ka sa ilang tanan nga mga hawak.

⁷When they took hold of you by your hand, you broke, and tore all their shoulders; and when they leaned on you, you broke, and paralyzed all of their thighs.”

⁸Busa mao kini ang giingon sa Ginoong Jehova: Ania karon, dad-on ko ikaw usa ka espada batok kanimo, ug pamatyon ko ang tawo ug mananap gikan kanimo.

⁸Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Behold, I will bring a sword on you, and will cut off man and animal from you.

⁹Ug ang yuta sa Egipto mahimong biniyaan ug awa-aw; ug sila makaila nga ako mao si Jehova. Tungod kay siya nag-ingon: Ang suba ako man, ug ako mao ang nagbuhat niini;

⁹The land of Egypt shall be a desolation and a waste; and they shall know that I am Yahweh. Because he has said, ‘The river is mine, and I have made it;’

¹⁰Tungod niini, ania karon, ako batok kanimo, ug batok sa imong mga suba, ug ang yuta sa Egipto himoon ko nga awa-aw nga tuman ug biniyaan, gikan sa torre sa Seveneh bisan hangtud sa utlanan sa Etiopia.

¹⁰therefore, behold, I am against you, and against your rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt an utter waste and desolation, from the tower of Seveneh even to the border of Ethiopia.

¹¹Walay tiil sa tawo nga moagi latas niana, ni tiil sa mananap nga moagi latas niana, ni pagapuy-an kana sulod sa kap-atan ka tuig.

¹¹No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of animal shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.

¹²Ug ang yuta sa Egipto himoon ko nga usa ka biniyaan sa taliwala sa mga yuta nga biniyaan; ug ang iyang mga ciudad sa taliwala sa mga ciudad nga nangahimong awa-aw, mahimong biniyaan sulod sa kap-atan ka tuig; ug akong patibulaagon ang mga Egiptohanon sa taliwala sa mga nasud, ug akong pasalaagon sila latas sa kayutaan.

¹²I will make the land of Egypt a desolation in the midst of the countries that are desolate; and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be a desolation forty years; and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.”

¹³Kag mao kini ang giingon sa Ginoong Jehova: Sa katapusan sa kap-atan ka tuig tigumon ko ang mga Egiptohanon gikan sa mga katawohan diin sila gipatibulaag ko ;

¹³For thus says the Lord Yahweh: “At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the peoples where they were scattered;

¹⁴Ug akong bawion ang pagkabinihag sa Egipto, ug pabalikon ko sila ngadto sa yuta sa Patros, ngadto sa yuta nga ilang natawohan; ug didto sila mahimong usa ka gingharian nga ubos.

¹⁴and I will bring back the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their birth; and they shall be there a base kingdom.

¹⁵Kini mahimong labing ubos sa mga gingharian; ni motindog pa kana pag-usab sa ibabaw sa mga nasud: ug ako magapakunhod kanila, aron sila dili na magmando pag-usab sa mga nasud.

¹⁵It shall be the base of the kingdoms; neither shall it any more lift itself up above the nations: and I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.

¹⁶Ug kana dili na mahimong saliganan sa balay sa Israel, nga nagapahinumdum kanila sa kasal-anan, sa diha nga sila molingi sa pagsunod kanila: ug sila makaila nga ako mao ang Ginoong Jehova.

¹⁶It shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, bringing iniquity to memory, when they turn to look after them: and they shall know that I am the Lord Yahweh.”’”

¹⁷Ug nahitabo sa ikakaluhaan ug pito ka tuig, sa nahaunang bulan , sa nahaunang adlaw sa bulan, ang pulong ni Jehova midangat kanako, nga nagaingon:

¹⁷It came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

¹⁸Anak sa tawo, si Nabucodonosor nga hari sa Babilonia, nagpa-alagad sa usa ka hilabihang pagpaalagad sa iyang kasundalohan batok sa Tiro: ang tanang ulo nahimo na nga upaw, ug ang tanang abaga napanit; bisan pa niana wala pa siya magsuhol, ni sa iyang kasundalohan, gikan sa Tiro, tungod sa pag-alagad nga gihatag kaniya batok niini.

¹⁸Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyre: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was worn; yet had he no wages, nor his army, from Tyre, for the service that he had served against it.

¹⁹Busa mao kini ang giingon sa Ginoong Jehova: Ania karon, akong ihatag ang yuta sa Egipto kang Nabucodonosor nga hari sa Babilonia: ug iyang pamihagon ang iyang katawohan, ug sakmiton ang iyang inagaw, ug kuhaon ang iyang tukbonon; ug kini mao ang suhol nga alang sa iyang kasundalohan.

¹⁹Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and he shall carry off her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.

²⁰Ako nang gihatag kaniya ang yuta sa Egipto ingon nga balus alang sa iyang kabudlay, tungod kay sila nagbuhat alang kanako, nagaingon ang Ginoong Jehova.

²⁰I have given him the land of Egypt as his recompense for which he served, because they worked for me, says the Lord Yahweh.

²¹Niadtong adlawa akong pasalingsingon ang sungay sa balay sa Israel, ug ihatag ko kanimo ang ablihanan sa baba diha sa ilang taliwala; ug sila makaila nga ako mao si Jehova.

²¹In that day will I cause a horn to bud forth to the house of Israel, and I will give you the opening of the mouth in their midst; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
